Seattle’s Vietnamese Cafe Chain Coffeeholic Is Expanding to Wallingford | Eater Seattle

"An L.A.-born, Drake-backed Nashville-style chicken chain that is rapidly expanding in Washington State, building a new restaurant in Redmond with additional locations planned in Tacoma, Puyallup and Federal Way; local franchisee Sana Keshap originally targeted 10 outlets and may grow to 15, and she aims to create a homey atmosphere in her restaurants, for example by offering dates to customers breaking their Ramadan fasts." - Harry Cheadle

Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you’ve been on Capitol Hill recently and wondered why there’s a line of people along 12th and Pike, it’s because Dave’s Hot Chicken opened its first Washington location in the old Little Big Burger space. This LA-based chain serves Nashville-style chicken ranging from no spice to reaper-level heat in the form of chunky tenders and sliders smothered in “Dave's sauce.” Also, they're open until 11pm on the weekends. We recently checked out Dave's Hot Chicken. Read our first thoughts here. " - Kayla Sager Riley

Dave’s Hot Chicken Review - Capitol Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There are those who will wait in the pouring rain on Capitol Hill for chicken tenders, and then there are those who won't. If you fall into the first camp, let us warn you that Dave's Hot Chicken is not worth your time or chicken tender-loving energy. Much like tiny sunglasses and Fyre Fest, this LA-based chain is past its 2017 prime. Here, you’ll find Nashville-style fried chicken ranging from mild to reaper-level heat in the form of chunky tenders and sliders smothered in “Dave's sauce” (think honey-spiked chipotle mayo). Unfortunately, the crinkle fries are stale, the potato rolls are soggy, and the tenders are limp. For a quick late-night snack on the Hill, we’d sooner hit or Dick’s. Or, maybe it's time to give a chance instead." - Kayla Sager-Riley

Dave’s Hot Chicken is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was hooked by the vibe—the scenery is fun and welcoming, and I love how the front windows open up to let in the fresh air. It gives the whole place an open, relaxed feel. Now onto the food—the chicken was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. Every bite hit just right. The treats were also on point—seriously satisfying! I wasn’t really into the strawberry lemonade, but that’s just personal preference. Only thing that threw me off a bit was the tables not being wiped down. It wasn’t a huge deal, but definitely something that stood out. Overall though, the experience was fantastic and I’ll definitely be back.

Google
So dang good!! Every bite was worth it, and the prices were just right. You do have to pay for Street parking, but worth it. Cozy spot, super clean but a little small so yes, it can fill up quickly. The staff was So friendly, and delivered fast service! Highly recommended! Family friendly.

Google
Food: 4/5 The chicken sandwich was moist and well-seasoned. I really liked the sauce it came with, too. If anything, I would recommend staying away from the mac and cheese — it’s overpriced and tastes like something you could find at a local grocery store. Service: 4/5 The place was busy, but the service was about what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant. Atmosphere: 4/5 The layout was decent — well-lit, with a classic burger joint vibe, which I thought was fitting. Recommend? Yes, I would recommend giving this place a try at least once. Although it is a little pricey for the food you get.

Dave’s Hot Chicken’s Nashville-style hot chicken slider is an absolute flavor bomb and a must-try for anyone craving bold, spicy comfort food. From the first bite, the slider delivers exactly what it promises—tender, juicy chicken packed with smoky, fiery heat and Southern-style seasoning. The chicken itself is perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It’s clear they brine the meat properly, because every bite is full of flavor, not just coated in spice. The breading has that classic Nashville crunch and is generously coated in their signature spice rub, which ranges from “Lite Mild” to “Reaper,” depending on how brave you are. I tried the “Hot” level, and it was the perfect balance of heat and flavor—intense, but not overwhelming. What really makes the slider stand out is the combination of toppings. The soft, buttery bun, crunchy pickles, and Dave’s creamy, slightly tangy house sauce work in perfect harmony with the heat of the chicken. It’s not just spicy for the sake of being spicy—it’s flavorful, well-balanced, and seriously addicting. Portion-wise, the slider is surprisingly satisfying. It’s not massive, but it’s dense with flavor and packs enough punch to leave you content. If you pair it with crinkle-cut fries and one of their shakes, you’re in for a full meal experience. Overall, Dave’s Hot Chicken has nailed the Nashville hot chicken concept. Their slider is the real deal—spicy, savory, indulgent, and unforgettable. I’d absolutely come back for another.

Google
Got Dave's delivered recently and it was pretty good! The portion sizes were fair and everything was well seasoned. I'll need to ratchet up the spice next time as I didn't find their "hot" to have much heat. The sliders were definitely the best thing we tried and the sauce was tasty as well. Would try again in the future.

Google
Delicious! Chicken was cooked perfectly, and fries were on point. I ordered the loaded fries, so good. My favorite flavor was the mild flavor, but my fam opted for Medium and Extra Hot, which had them sweating. If you haven't been, you've got to try it!

Google
Good food and vibes. They were open late and were extremely busy, so the service was pretty slow. This wasn't the best Dave's location I've been to, but it's hard to find good Nashville style hot chicken in Seattle. Worth checking out if you're in the area and craving some hot chicken.

This place is outstanding! My daughter made us walk 35 minutes just for Dave’s sliders! It was so worth it! Amazing sandwiches, friendly staff & fast service! 5 stars!

Good service, but unfortunate that I am posting this review just to get a cup of water.

Yelp
I have posted a review before, but I don't see it, so I will share again! I LOVE Dave's Hot Chicken. I'm used to Dave's Hot Chicken in Vegas, where they are usually quick drive-thru experiences. This location in Seattle is not a drive-thru. It is on Capitol Hill and super busy like a college hang out spot. I have gone in the daytime and late at night. Daytime is less busy and more manageable. We were able to sit down and eat at the restaurant. The late-night experience was almost hectic. Super packed and much longer wait. Both times I loved my food. My daughter gets medium heat, and I am always gonna be mild. Hits the spot each time! Chicken has always been juicy for us, the fries are the best crinkle fries that I have ever had. The food tastes like the grease is fresh! The Dave's Sauce is always a winner. We eat it on the chicken and the fries. It is a bit sweet and pairs well with the seasoning on the chicken and fries! Parking is scarce. If you are lucky, you can get a spot on the street out front. My patience is thin, so I usually just park 1/2 a block up in a paid parking spot. From Las Vegas to Seattle, Daves always hits the spot for me! 10/10 I would recommend

Yelp
Chicken dry and over seasoned. Overhyped. Coke machine old and broken. Pickles suck too they don't pickle.

Yelp
I'm sure everyone knows this place already. I got to try it for the first time recently & it is delicious. We came around 9 PM, very hungry, post pickleball. The line was long and it's a war to find seating, but we came out victorious. The food took a reallllly long time to come out (but this was expected). They were handing out little slushie samples to keep people satiated. The pink color lemonade slushie was my favorite. The fries are my number one favorite thing here. They are so oily and seasoned (which is just the way I like it). Make sure you ask for extra extra sauce because it is the best part. I also tried the cauliflower sandwich, which was also delicious, but I defiantly liked the fries more. I needed more pickles with the sandwich. My friends loved their chicken. It came out a little spicier than normal this time. This will be my new go to spot for fries.

Yelp
Do people write reviews for food from uber eats deliveries? Anyways I'm gong to write one. Had the munchies late night after attending emerald city comic con and decided to give this place a try. The delivery came in around 30 minutes. I ordereded: 1. daves #1: 2 tenders with fries - heat level spice The tenders were spicy! But in a good way. It was nice and Crispy and went well with the daves sauce. Came with crinkle cut fries. 2. Cauliflower tender bites with Mac and cheese - heat level spice This was the highlight of the order! I think I like the cauliflower tenders more then the regular tender and I am a meat eater. The cauliflower was nicely vooked and this was as spicy as the hot level tenders. The Mac and cheese is good and the cheese in it was similar to the extra cheese sauce I ordered. 3. Side of cheese.

Yelp
I've had Dave's hot chicken in Portland before and it's the same. I get medium spicy and it's a nice kick without being too spicy. The space is decent, with about 8 tables and some "bar" style seating in the back. Highly recommend you ask for the side of honey when you pick up your order. I'd say this a place to try if you haven't, and nice to stop by if you're in the area. Update: So extremely disappointed. I was so excited to try out their top loaded fries so I placed an order in the app. I noticed I was able to get toppings on the side, so I ultimately decided to go with that option to get less soggy fries. Low and behold, when I got home 30 mins later, I opened the box and my 10 nuggets were nowhere to be seen. $16+ tax for a box of fries. There's not a "nuggets on side" option, only a "no chicken bites ", which i checked and confirmed that I did not select that option. Excited to eat, I was in return presented with utter disappointment. So sad. PSA: make sure you check your orders before leaving.

Yelp
Dave's Hot Chicken! A new spot in Seattle, I had no idea this opened but I was dying to try this! I would definitely say the service was a bit slow and backed up, however the vibes of the place were incredible. Great loud music and community. The food was delicious, however definitely on the saltier and pricier side! Portions are huge and I'd recommend their two sliders, they are big and enough for two people to share!
google avatar

Sophia D.

Yelp
Finally visited after hearing so much about their delicious food! I tried Dave's #4 (1 slider & fries) along with the Mac n Cheese. I really loved the chicken! Super flavorful and has a little bit of a kick for a mild spice. Very tender and really delicious-- especially for it being a cajun seasoning. Wasn't the biggest man of the fries as they didn't stand out as much, so I'd focus more on the chicks tenders and the Mac N Cheese. The Mac n Cheese was decadent and perfectly creamy. Would love to see them season the dish with cajun or some spice! Big fan! Would definitely come visit again! I can see why it gets busy fast and often!

Yelp
Seeing the line outside Dave's Hot Chicken when they first opened, I knew I'd eventually have to try it out. No way was I going to stand there for an hour though. Waited for the hype to die down and went for the first time last week. I'm glad I didn't join the crowds - it was a good sandwich, but nothing spectacular. Good spice on the chicken, and it was very tender. A little greasy though, and not quite crispy enough for my liking. If you're nearby and haven't been, give it a shot. But if you're looking for the best fried chicken in town, this ain't it (try out Cookie's, Sisters & Brothers, or S/T Hooligans for some contenders).

Yelp
(Takeout Review) Finally got Dave's Hot Chicken in WA!!! I ordered online to skip the wait in line, enter the store and go straight to the pickup area and my meal was ready! The staff are very hardworking & I have never gotten my order wrong so I'm very satisfied! The food in general is great as well! Very filling! In my pics, the orders are for Mild and Extra Hot! Juicy and spicy tenders, crispy fries, and good pickles! Don't forget to get extra Dave's sauce!! Definitely coming back after a fun night out in CapHill!!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Dave's Hot Chicken since they opened their Seattle location and we finally had a chance to go. It. Was. BOMB. Parking looks like it's hard to find, there were a few cars parked in the turn lane with their hazards on. Thankfully we managed to snag a spot close by. We walked in and the restaurant was packed with a medium sized line. We used that time to look at the menu and decide what to get. After we ordered, we found a spot to sit in some bar seating if you continue past the ordering area. We liked the area we sat in since it was quieter than the main seating area but the tables were STICKY. My husband said it was possibly a chemical reaction to the finish on the tables due to their cleaning products but it was pretty bad. Our food was ready after less than 10 minutes which was quick considering how slammed they were. It was SOO good and I honestly haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The chicken was hot and fresh, some of the best I've had in a long time. I got the #3 in hot and my husband got the #2 in medium. I thought the hot was perfect and my husband said he'd get that over medium next time. We also weren't expecting the "sliders" to be full sized sandwiched and easily could've shared one meal. I only ate my tender and some fries and brought the rest home for later. It was just as good as leftovers the next day. They were also offering samples of their slushies which was a nice little bonus. Honestly I would be 5 stars if the table wasn't so crazy sticky. We'll definitely be back soon! I'm looking forward to trying their "not" chicken (cauliflower) and top loaded fries!

Roji M.

Yelp
This best spicy chicken i've ever had. I've never liked spicy food much but this made me change my mind. And the milkshake was so good!

Yelp
Amazing food it is great and is amazing it is rewlly good tasting and it tastes like magical sunshine

Yelp
This place was on my priority list to visit on my recent trip to Seattle. Parking can be tricky so be aware that street parking or getting dropped off are your two best options. The menu is pretty straightforward. Chicken, sides and drinks. The chicken strips were moist and tender. You can choose your heat level and quantity. Fries, pickles and toast come with your order. I was not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Great staff.
google avatar

Daphne S.

Yelp
If you're wandering around Seattle and are tired of price gouging and need a quick protein filled lunch, this is the perfect spot for you. The chicken is always dependable. It will always be cooked the same and it will always taste the same. I love the fries! The staff was pretty nice. I used the bathrooms and they were fine too. There is a lot of dining space inside with lots of windows and it's pretty clean. It wasn't hard to find parking either.
google avatar

Mandy W.

Yelp
Classic fried chicken place with decent food. Honestly I still like chickfila more but this is a nice alternative. Love that they come with pickles on the side!!
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
I got the medium cauliflower bites and my partner got lite mild chicken tender and slider combo. We were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and seasoning. Everything was good and the staff was friendly and chatted with me about my dogs as my partner waited outside with them. It was a fast casual environment and I will definitely come back and try the hotter options as medium wasn't quite spicy enough for me.
google avatar

Katherine Y.

Yelp
We stopped by for drunchies on a Sunday before MLK day a little past midnight and there was a line out the door. Thankfully it moved pretty quickly! We each ordered the #3 combo (1 tender + 1 slider with fries) and a bottle of water, and he also ordered an extra single tender. The chicken had a nice crunchy (but not too crunchy) exterior with a juicy middle. The fries were thick yet still crispy which we both enjoyed. The combos came with a container of what I think was a ketchup-mayo aioli which was fine. I ordered my chicken extra hot (2nd hottest) and he had hot (3rd hottest). As someone who handles spice well, the extra hot definitely packed some punch. We dined in at one of the tables. Overall, a solid late-night food spot!
google avatar

Grace F.

Yelp
Great place for chicken sandwhiches if you're in the area late at night. The sauce is really good but I've definitely had better fries, which could have been since it was to go. The service was really good but the food took a while to come out
google avatar

Albert L.

Yelp
Got the combo #1 and it did not disappoint. Got two fairly large and juicy tenders. Ended up only being able to finish 1.5 tenders because of all the standard sides provided. Tenders were really well seasoned and true to the spice level. I got mild and could barely taste the spice. It's a small space so larger parties may find it hard to sit together. Service was sort of quick for a Friday night. All in all, I would come again.
google avatar

Teresa Z.

Yelp
Solid place with juicy fried chicken!! Service is fast. Awesome location and love the indoor/outdoor window. The chicken is definitely the star here. I think medium spice is not spicy enough but the level above is too spicy The milkshakes are too sweet, so I would stay clear of that. Mac and cheese also is using fake cheese.
google avatar

Cardin N.

Yelp
So bomb. I like the efficient process with line and pick up with the buzzer. The food is exceptional. Super flavorful and meat is juicy! Not a ton of seats but they manage it well!
google avatar

Wennie H.

Yelp
Popped in for a late lunch on a Friday, plenty of interior seating, fast service and food comes out quickly. Opted for the single slider and a side of kale salad. Dining companion for the slider meal (came with fries). Sandwich was good and chicken was hefty but I found the seasoning a little too heavy handed (I.e. too much cumin- or a spice similar) but when I topped it with a drizzle of honey, it really balances it out. The kale salad was fresh and not drenched in sauce which I appreciated. I got the medium spice and found it to be just right. DC got hot and it was insanely spicy for me but they said, "I think I could have gotten the reaper but it said you had to sign a waiver." Fries were super crispy, piping hot and seasoned perfect. Overall, the meal was super worth it.
google avatar

Sophia M.

Yelp
I give Dave's Hot Chicken 3.5 stars! I really enjoyed my 2nd visit, I ordered mild. The first time I had it hot and I thought the seasoning was too much, and the chicken was on the dryer side. The fries are delicious, I'm a fan of crinkle fries and I love the extra pickles on the side. The bread isn't just normal bread it does have a buttery, Hawaiian rolls texture type of bread, lightly toasted inside but doesn't stay toasted. I recommend using the honey packets, it makes the experience better and add cheese to tone down heat or just to create more flavorful! The price is great for what you get. My partner loves this place he orders it often. He gives it a 500/5 haha!
google avatar

Megan G.

Yelp
I went here a couple times for a late night snack and it hit the spot every time! The servers are super friendly even at 1 am in the morning and one time I went, they even handed out free slushies for the people in line! I always get the chicken sandwich - the bun is soft and warm, the chicken is juicy, and their special sauce is delicious! The space is on the smaller side but there's plenty of seating and it's pretty clean. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quick dinner or late night snack!
google avatar

Byron W.

Yelp
With all these "Nashville hot chicken" spots popping up all over its not easy for these spots to distinguish themselves from each other but Dave's Hot Chicken does manage to do it quite well! Spicy, but not "what happened to my taste buds?" spicy is what it is... flavorful heat that will be worth me making the trek from Redmond to Seattle when I've got a craving for a hot chicken sammy. .
google avatar

Nikki C.

Yelp
I didn't think this was all the hype. The chicken was underwhelming to me. It was on the drier side. But their fries were very good with the sauces. We were a little disappointed that the bread is just white bread that isn't toasted or anything. So there was nothing special if you got bread. My boyfriend and I have tried a lot of different chicken places and we don't think that this fried chicken made it on our list for a place we would revisit. The employees were very nice and welcoming. Just unfortunately, the food was okay. The establishment is in Cap Hill so it is very difficult to find street parking. When we went there was very few seats available. So we had to wait a few minutes in order to sit down. The restaurant is pretty small overall.
google avatar

Fionnuala S.

Yelp
Such good food! Way better than chickfila! Sandwich was sweet, spicy, cold, warm, everything you could want in one bite of food! We drove by and the line was out the door so we ordered online and hung out in the car for about 15 min. They let you walk right in and grab your food! Preorder!!!
google avatar

Hoang N.

Yelp
I'd say food pretty decent and service is standard. Nothing crazy, but it is a good late night spot too in my opinion because it close late. Lastly depending on the when you go it can be busy that the line would be out the door.

Ed T.

Yelp
tasty food tried it a few times before and can't wait to have it one more time. Perfect spice levels and i love the vibe
google avatar

Vivian O.

Yelp
I've had Hattie B's in Nashville so I feel like I have some credibility when I say this was on par or even better!! I love the taste of hot chicken and Dave's did not disappoint! I came on I believe the second opening weekend and it was so busy! There was a line forming out of the door so I did end up waiting over half an hour to get inside and order, but the service was pretty fast overall! I shared the sandwich ($16) with my friend and we got the medium spice level (I love that you can adjust this). It was the right amount of spicyness and also filling! The fries were also yummy and also bonus points for the cutest smiley pickles :) I will say I think it's a bit expensive, but decent to share and glad I can fulfill my hot chicken craving in cap hill!
google avatar

Harley M.

Yelp
Honestly so glad this place opened up in Seattle! If you are looking for spicy chicken, this is the place to go! It hasn't been open for very long so sometimes there is a line, especially evenings and weekends. For $14, you can get a pretty filling meal. I got the combo with one slider and one tender and I was stuffed. The hot is pretty spicy, but it is my favorite. I find myself craving the sandwich so I definitely will make this a regular stop.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
When I went on a Saturday at 12pm, the line for Dave's Hot Chicken was inside so it seemed like the perfect time to go! I ordered the #4 which came with a slider and fries with the Dave's sauce. I got level hot for the chicken. The slider itself was juicy and delectable and paired extra well with honey on top. The fries were too salty for me and I was unable to finish them, even with the Dave's sauce. The pickles were nice and sour and tasted good with everything! I'm glad I got a sprite because that was a lot of cholesterol. Otherwise, I would come back to Dave's Hot Chicken again for their sliders. It was just too good!
google avatar

Val E.

Yelp
I cannot even begin to describe how deliciously crispy and juicy their chicken sliders are. Dave's is officially becoming a frequent spot for me. I've already been back 3 times since i took this first photo! The chocolate shake is divine and the slider is seriously like no other. I always get the mild spice level because i like it with a bit of a kick, but not too hot. The fries are crinkle cut and fresh and crispy as well. I'd take this spot over Chick-fila any day! There is a decent amount of seating inside but i would recommend ordering to go since they are super crowded most of the time. Tip: The line can get super long, i recommend ordering on the website 20 mins before arriving during busy hours. 1000% worth the wait!
google avatar

Patty P.

Yelp
Pretty good chicken. When I went the soda machine was down so the only option for drinks was bottled or slushees. Can get very crowded.
google avatar

Lisa V.

Yelp
The line for Dave's Hot Chicken was out the door! It wrapped around the corner of the building, and the total wait time for our order was 60 min! Despite that, the wait was worth it since my boyfriend and I have been craving Dave's Hot Chicken since we first tried it in July 2023 in LA. We're so happy that it opened in Capitol Hill! The service was really friendly, and you can tell majority of the team members were being trained on the spot. They did a great job with maintaining the flow of service, and the wait time was just long due to the popularity of the place. So kudos to them! I got Combo #1 which includes 2 tenders with fries, and I requested the spice level to be Hot. I believe the spice level varies by location, because I didn't find it to be as spicy as the Medium in LA. I would probably try Extra Hot next time, since I have a pretty good spice tolerance. My boyfriend on the other hand, he chose Combo #3 which includes 1 tender and 1 slider with fries, with a spice level of Mild. The chicken is well-seasoned and goes well with the sauce (tip: ask for honey to add to the sauce, it adds some sweetness to balance out the saltiness!). The crinkle cut fries weren't anything special, and the toast is a bit too plain for my liking since it isn't buttered or toasted. It gets a point for being soft though! Overall, I would love to visit again when the wait times aren't as long since this place has become one of my favorite fast-food chicken spots!

Chloe G.

Yelp
Good stuff! I really enjoyed the experience here! The service was very nice and friendly. We ordered efficiently at the counter and I got my receipt and a buzzer. We waited not too long and got our meals in a reasonable time, and sat at a table by the front window. It was busy and full in there but I'm glad we got a seat. The water and soda fountain dispenser felt kind of dirty and much used, but at least they did have small cups for free water. The chocolate milkshake I got was also very yummy. I really liked the cheesy fries, they were great. I wish they had been coated with a bit more cheese but they were still really good to eat. I got the medium spice level on my chicken slider sandwich and that was perfect for me. Any less spice and it would not have been a remarkable sandwich at all. The chicken portions here are a lot smaller than the other Dave's Hot Chicken I've been to in the Midwest. I was a bit taken aback by it. But the sauce and preparation was very good and I could easily recommend it to anyone who was in the mood for hot chicken in Seattle!

Yelp
Dave's hot chicken is a great stop for a quick meal. Located in Capital Hill between Cal Anderson Park and Seattle University campus, it can be a bit difficult to find street parking and navigate to due to the constant road construction but is well worth the trip. We came on a Sunday afternoon. The store was busy with a line reaching the door from the front counter but we were up to order within a few minutes after arriving. You order at the counter and are given a buzzer that will notify you when your order is ready for pickup. Service is quick and I was offered extra sauce and ketchup when picking up my meal. The menu is concise, offering different combinations and preparations of Dave's chicken tenders at varying levels of spiciness as well as sides and drinks. My GF and I ordered the #1 (2 tenders + 2 slices of bread) and #2 (2 sliders). All combo orders come with crinkle cut fries, sliced pickles, and Dave's signature dipping sauce. We ordered both combos extra spicy. As spice lovers, we were happy to find that the extra spicy was actually spicy and had a lot of flavor. There is an extra level of spice which requires a signed waiver to order. We thought the extra spicy was hot enough. In both meals, the tenders were juicy and had plenty of spice seasoning. The kale slaw on the sliders felt absent and did not bring much to the experience of the entree. The fries are seasoned and the thick sliced pickles were a great palate cleanser to reset the spice. Everything was delicious and paired well with Dave's signature sauce. All in all, we had a great meal and experience at Dave's. The meals are relatively inexpensive, service is quick, and the food tastes amazing! We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
If you're looking for good tenders, this is the place to try. Apparently Dave's is famous for their fried chicken and that it's based off from California. Because of this and it being near Seattle U, and it PACKED. We waited about 50 mins to order our food and about 30-40 mins to receive our food. I got #3 which comes with a slider and a tender. The chicken is pretty good. It's packed with seasoning and is a good size. It's juicy and crispy as well. The fries were nice and crispy. It costed around $14 for the meal, which I thought was a good deal. I also had their strawberry milkshake. I thought the shake was one of the best shakes I've ever had. The service is fine. Props to the team because it looks and sounds like they're constantly busy the whole day. I can't imagine how it's like working there now

Yelp
Not a lot of places are open late in Seattle so having Dave's open until 3a is a blessing for late night city folks like myself. Chicken portions were huge and came with slices of bread and pickle and sauces. If I'm going to be honest the chicken was delicious but nothing to really rave about. Just tastes like any other Nashville hot style chicken. Fries were fresh and hot. The establishment is small and can get packed fast especially in the evening. Also can be kind of gross in there.

Yelp
Dave's was one of my all time favorites in SoCal and so I was very excited for them to open in Seattle. Overall it's a similar (great) quality at a reasonable price although there are differences. Most importantly the chicken is still delicious, juicy, and tender...but a little less so? The pieces of chicken we got were thinner and so it didn't taste as amazing as we know Dave's can be. Still good though and maybe a one-off thing! The spice levels were higher than expected. I used to eat the Extra Hot without a problem but here the Hot had me shaking a little. Weirdly the Medium didn't feel like anything to me so I think there is a little inconsistency there. The fries are just as good. Crispy, well seasoned and delicious served with a helping of Dave sauce (an aioli blend). Finally I will note that this place is much cheaper than alternatives in Seattle. The two of us shared a combo + Mac and cheese for $20 which is well below the normal lunch price. Respect to Dave's for not gouging the price here.

Yelp
This is my first time here, so I'll have to rate it a 3 just cause it's in the middle. But the customer service is great, they answered all my questions and was very helpful.

Yelp
Ordered the two piece tender set. I really enjoyed the fries, they were crispy and flavorful. I also really loved the thick cut pickles. The chicken however was just not my favorite. The chicken was juicy and tender but the sauce was not my favorite. The dry rub on the chicken was a little too overpowering but not spicy or flavorful. It was a little too grainy in my opinion. I enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with it though.

Yelp
I love the chicken tenders here! It's not super cheap, but any time I'm craving fried chicken or chicken tenders, this is where I'm going. Service is quick and my food is always hot. The line moved quick so don't be discouraged!

Yelp
Great food. Rudest staff I've seen in a while. This is a common theme, I am not sure why ownership doesn't address it.

Yelp
Delicious. My slider and fries were great! The milkshakes are also yummy. I had mildly spicy.

Yelp
I really love Dave's Hot Chicken but just want you to make an informed decision!! This picture was taken on July 18th 2024, the day I'm posting this. Are you trying to farm review or check ins?? But yes PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE CHECKING IN OR REVIEWING! Make an informed decision for yourself! :) 5 stars for the food -100 stars for the marketing effort
