Dave’s Hot Chicken Review - Capitol Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There are those who will wait in the pouring rain on Capitol Hill for chicken tenders, and then there are those who won't. If you fall into the first camp, let us warn you that Dave's Hot Chicken is not worth your time or chicken tender-loving energy. Much like tiny sunglasses and Fyre Fest, this LA-based chain is past its 2017 prime. Here, you’ll find Nashville-style fried chicken ranging from mild to reaper-level heat in the form of chunky tenders and sliders smothered in “Dave's sauce” (think honey-spiked chipotle mayo). Unfortunately, the crinkle fries are stale, the potato rolls are soggy, and the tenders are limp. For a quick late-night snack on the Hill, we’d sooner hit or Dick’s. Or, maybe it's time to give a chance instead." - Kayla Sager-Riley
