What an experience at Davies Vineyard! The service we received from Jesus and Kimberly was exceptional; they made our Father's Day celebration perfect. You must definitely stop by; our favorite wine is the "jd" Cabernet Sauvignon.

The best Napa experience! My friends and I came out to Napa for my joint bachelorette/birthday party, and our first tasting experience was Davies. Well, let me say that we set the bar WAY too high for the start of the trip - literally everything after that paled in comparison. We had a private tasting for the reds & sparkling tasting and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. We were taken to a private room where we were given special menus with my name on them, and greeted by Rimple. Rimple was THE BEST. We had a wide range of people in our group of 8...several were from Nashville, some from California, and 2 Indian ladies (one of which is Vegan). Rimple was fantastic as not only being personable and informed on the wines, but he even shared unique tasting ideas for Nashville restaurants (he had visited a few years prior), Indian food, and even Indian vegan options. He completely blew us out of the water when it came to associating each wine with what we would actually drink it for in everyday life. He even surprised me at the end of the tasting with a complimentary bottle for us to celebrate with. I will 100% be going back to Davies when I take my fiance to Napa...and if Rimple isn't there, I hope I can find him at another Napa Valley location!

Rebecca was a great host to our champagne tasting. Tasting was great as well. Highly recommend if you want to taste more champagne styles and learn about the process.

I visited Davies this past Sunday for the first time and was blown away! Exceptional wines, incredible service, and a beautiful tasting space. We did a standard tasting of sparkling wines and reds, but next time will definitely upgrade to the caviar and sparkling experience! If you're looking for a knowledgable staff, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional wines then Davies is not to be missed!

Excellent wine tasting and education from Kim. Normally I don’t like bubbly wine, there were a few I really enjoyed. The 2019 cab was delicious and found it’s way home with me. A very fun laid back atmosphere.

Walked in here 45 minutes before closing time. Was told that the three of us can buy a bottle - no glass, no wine tasting... Walked out again. End of story. There should be a sign on highway 128: "Do not dare to slow down here. We don't want you." PS: And no, the reply doesn't explain anything. If I walk to a bar 45 minutes before closing, I can get a drink or two. If I walk into this winery 45 minutes before closing, I can get a blank stare? So fine, don't give me a wine tasting, if you really believe it's too much involved. At least give me a glass. Everybody wins that way.

Such an Incredible experience! The staff was so knowledgable and provided amazing service! The wines tasted amazing! They even provided us with a private room with our own personalized menu's with our name on it. I can't recommend Davie's enough!

Revisited the Davies Winery today. Excellent sparkling, Pinots and cabs. Rebecca was a wonderful host! I got to meet Rimple who is their wine club manager. Great people + excellent wines!

We had an awesome visit on New Years Eve day - hosted by Kim who is very knowledgeable and the perfect host! Loved the bubbles and the vibe! We can't wait to return and buy some more bubbles!!

Davies Vineyards is a wonderful place to come and experience and share great memories with friends. The staff is top-notch and extremely educated and loves to share the history and the processes of their collection could not say enough good things about the amazing people that work and run this facility and not to mention the incredible wines and champagne. Definitely somewhere we will stop again.

Super friendly server, she was great and knowledgeable about the wine. It was just a tasting room experience, I thought it was a winery with a view like the others we did though. I wouldn't recommend it as a stop on a tour if you're looking for a relaxing view, it's very intimate and boutique-y and similar to a restaurant. Still great wine though! Just not the experience I had imagined

We had reservations here for 11 on our day off. Fun tasting room just outside the Main Street of St. Helena. Our wine guide, Rebecca, was friendly, fun and energetic. We loved her! We sat upstairs and had the bubblies flight which are from Schramsberg and tried a Cab and Pinot Noir from the Davies label. They're all related/same family of wine makers. Since Davies makes the red wine I'd come here for that but I'm a bubblies girl so...they don't usually mix and match wine flights during a weekend since it gets so busy so just a heads up. All the wines tasted good. The education around the wine was great. The seating area is cozy, warm, bright and you wouldn't know you're just off the Main Street. We'll be back with our friends who come here regularly.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place! Absolutely splendiferous bubbles! We did not know that this was a satellite of Schramsberg, but I am so glad I know of it now. The tasting room is beautiful and easily accessible. We were greeted and checked in by a very pleasant lady and seated right away. We were hosted royally by Kelly! Caviar, quiche, beef tenderloin and a lemon cheesecake! Everything was delicious. Schramsberg has the caves, but Davies has appointments when you want. Book today! You won't be sorry!!

Incredible service, wines and pairing of food! Caviar and Sparkling wines is my dream pairing. I want to celebrate every birthday, anniversary, and special occasion here with this tasting. The J Schram is amazing! Yes, we will be back!'

Jesus was so knowledgeable and did an amazing job explaining all the wines and what food they would pair amazing with. We had the bubbly experience and it was fantastic. They ran out of the cheese tray but other than that, great experience. We had the patio all to ourselves and the weather was perfect. Walked away with three bottles and our favorite was their blanc noir. Will be great to eat with anything on the menu. Thanks Jesus. Appreciate you.

The sparkling and red wines are exceptional. We always enjoy thoroughly. The service they provide is always very good. However, this last time we visited was the best it's ever been. The host, wines, and food were amazing. We also like how centrally located the winery is and its proximity to both Napa and Calistoga.

Davies is highly recommended. Small place with exceptional service. Jesus was so knowledgeable about their wines. We ordered a cheese board and it was fantastic.

For Schramsberg wine but Davies hospitaltiy. Do the bubbles and caviar tasting. It was such a wonderful experience and one of the most thought-out tasting experiences from a winery. It's fun how they also do a premium wine with a "standard" wine for each pairing to show the difference. Note that none of the wine is Davies it is all Schramsberg however Davies has the kitchen which is why it is hosted there. I wanted to try at least one Davies which we got to do and we ended up buying that bottle :). Had I planned I probably would have scheduled to do a Davies wine tasting right afterwards. Would recommend!

I have come here a few times and I have to say that the sparkling here is one of my all time favorites. Davies is a sister vineyard to Schramsberg. And their Blanc de Nior is amazing, for me it's my go to special occasion sparkling and for the quality and the price hands down the best deal and my favorite bottle of bubbly! They have a lovely outdoor tasting area with outdoor heaters and a tent on those not so perfect weather days. Our server was Ruby, what a delight she was and a font of knowledge about these stunningly delicious sparkling wines. We chatted and listened and learned much about their process on making these magical bubbles. My wonderful friends are members here and I literally cannot wait to come back and of course I'll grab a few bottles to go. The club membership is not bad at all especially considering the high caliber of the Schramsberg sparkling wines as well as some delicious reds. I will be back ASAP. Cheers my friends SYOY

The sparkling wine tasting is amazing. Have done it a couple times, once with a girlfriend for mother's day, and another with sisters. They are so friendly and i want to go back very soon:)

Davies/Schramsberg consistently extends exceptional hospitality to all visitors, whether you're a consumer or industry colleague. It's such a festive, beautiful site to visit during the holidays but a sparkling choice on any day of the year. It's always been my very first choice when recommending a Napa Valley tasting destination. All the sparkling and still wines are beautifully crafted so Davies offers one of those increasingly rare experiences where the quality of the wines matches the superb hospitality. Sarah Gibson of Guest Relations was so very friendly, responsive, and professional that our group can't wait to return to taste and purchase more wines. The joie de vivre of every team member added to our memorable evening at their Holiday event and we always feel so very welcome and valued as supporters. Heartfelt, grateful Cheers to their generosity and highest level of customer service!

We were lucky enough to have Jesus as our guide, while doing a mixed tasting at Davies. Even though the location was busy, and he was being pulled in multiple directions, Jesus was able to make sure that we had an enjoyable experience, and felt taken care of. Jesus made sure that we had an experience that we would come back to, and could recommend other people. We especially enjoyed the Pinot Noir that we tried, and were offered multiple off-menu items. While we didn't purchase any wine while on site, we will return the next time we're in town.

Our first time visiting Davies, and we had a great time! Ruby was our tasting guide, and she was absolutely lovely. The tasting menu welcomed us by name, a nice, personalized touch! We enjoyed a tasting of five different sparklies. My favorite hands down was the French Laundry Modicum Blanc de Blancs - crisp and delicious. Interestingly, we had a reservation for The French Laundry that same evening. We learned that this wine is typically only available at French Laundry, but since the restaurant had been shut down for several months due to corona, they sent the wine over to Davies, with the stipulation that a portion of proceeds go into the employee relief fund. A very good deed on Thomas Keller's part. When we got to The French Laundry, we were very happy to have a couple more glasses of the Modicum there! Davies is a sister winery of Schramsberg in Calistoga. Schramsberg was recommended to us by multiple people, and then one day while visiting John Anthony in downtown Napa, Kristen who works there informed us that we could taste Schramsberg wines at Davies instead of making the longer trek to Calistoga. Kristen contacted her friend Ruby at Davies, and voila, we had an appointment - thank you Kristen! We really enjoyed our tasting, and despite the fact that it was a sweltering 101 degrees that afternoon, the tasty bubbles combined with the great service made for a wonderful experience. Thank you Ruby and Davies for our lovely visit, we will be back!

Excellent wines and tasting experience. Also if you are traveling from out of state, they have some of the lowest $ shipping costs. Bought a few bottle of Schramsberg bubbles and Pinot Noirs. Signed up for the Schramsberg membership! Thrilled to be part of this club.

I am such a sparkling wine girl and so we went to Davies wine tour called Bubbles! One of the coolest features inside was the lights made with the wine barrel hoops. Wish I'd taken a picture, but you can see them in other yelper's photos. Our tasting guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and history of the vineyard. How lucky for this to be the first of our wine tours in Napa. Highly recommend.

The wines that Kim brought out were amazing. Her knowledge of the wines and the area made the experience just that instead of just a tasting. Local knowledge makes all the difference!

Expensive tasting. Wines not great. Service low engagement. I was so looking forward to this tasting. I wanted to join the club, but it just wasn't good wine. The tasting experience was indifferent. Tony was nice. The pours were small. If you are paying for a tasting, skip this one. Davies isn't pouring the "good stuff" and you can't join the club to get it.

If you are into sparkling wines this is a great spot to satiate that craving. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff, the option for Caviar pairings and a nice shaded outdoor seating area with cooling misters

This is a very unassuming building when you drive up, but there's a surprise waiting for you just inside. The decor is rustic and modern. A beautiful piece of artwork in the form of a light fixture fills the 2 story tasting room. We reserved a wine tasting appointment and we're very lucky to have Rimple as our hosts. We quickly understood that Rimple is a Wine Rock Star!!! He gave us a walk through everything Champagne and a finale with none other than their delicious Cabernet. Strong work Rimple!!!!!

After several visits back to this location, I dare say it's probably my favorite spot to lounge in St. Helena! Everyone from the person taking the reservation over the phone right down to the person behind the bar or holding the bottle is as knowledgeable as they are charming. Every guest that I had the pleasure of taking to this establish raves about the wine, the people and the atmosphere. The bubbles are refreshing, the reds are earthy, the atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious and it should not be compare to it's sister's winery (Shramsberg) because it has it's own identity and this younger sister has her own character that makes her truly unique on her own. If you're making a trip to wine country, this is definitely a great place to start, lounge or end your visit.

What a nice winery. Friendly staff, great wine and just wonderful places. Architect is also beautiful. Our cousins who recommended us and with us this trip became a club member. We will visit their house more often to get together to taste its wine Ha-ha cousins, thx for becoming the member!! I definitely recommend this place for tasting.

absolutely the worst experience of our lives. horrible customer service. had a wine tasting appointment and walked out. never again. avoid. avoid. terrible customer service. arrived 10 minutes before our appointment time and were treated like crap. we have 17 wine club membership and will never ever recommend this place. the staff is horrible. go elsewhere.

What an amazing staff, From the young lady at the door to the manager. I brought in my Parental inlaws and I explained to the staff they just wanted to look around a maybe buy a bottle of wine. The entire staff treated them with respect and demonstrated the utmost patience. Customer service was above and beyond. I will be returning and stopping in again very soon. Did I mention the wine was fabulous. 4 bottles in the car ready for a special night.

Beautiful space and the the gentleman helping us knew a lot about the wine and history and took time to talk to us and answered questions.

I purchased a tasting experience along with a bottle of cabernet at an auction and after drinking the cabernet I had to schedule my tasting appointment at Davies Vineyards. The tasting room is situated just off the 29 in Saint Helena. It is a new facility with an indoor and outdoor venue. Our wine steward felt the outdoor area would provide a better setting for our tasting. We had our own table, comfortable and near a water feature. We were introduced to many wines in their portfolio including; Pinot Noir, Sparkling Wine, Sparkling Rose and our favorite, their Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet comes under three labels; Davies Vineyards, JDavies Vineyards, and JD Vineyards. Our favorite by a long shot was the 2014 Red Cap Vineyard JDavies Cabernet Sauvignon and it was priced $20 less than their Estate Cabernet. Our tasting was not rushed and we enjoyed every wine served as well as our time spent with our educated wine steward. Is it worth the price I paid at the auction? Hell yes! This is why I give Davies Vineyards 5 stars. Yes, Woohoo! As good as it gets!

The generosity given to us by Davies is far more than I could describe. From tasting the Schramsberg wines to the Davies Pinots and Cabernets a few days later and I am still at a loss for words. Arguably in the top 5 wine experiences I've ever had. Special shoutout to Jesus for being so knowledgeable and passionate about the wines he poured. Make an appt, come see them and be prepared to be blown away.

This is as good as it gets!!! This winery offers a broad variety of wine for everyone; however, they are known for their Bubbly! If you've ever heard of Schramsburg, this is the bubbly they server. Sommelier, Ron is who made this experience over the top. He is by far the best Som in the valley. Cheers...

Ilya was wonderful - one of the best tasting experiences I've ever had! Not only did I learn something new, but got to taste some excellent wine and enjoy a perfect Saturday morning. Perfect ambiance and friendly staff - bought 6 bottles to save on shipping!!!

We did the Cabernet experience. And it was phenomenal!! Kelly, our wine expert made the experience perfect. The history she provided was what we were looking for. The building is beautiful! The chandeliers exquisite. We are longtime club members, and this experience was everything we hoped it would be. Schramsberg has come a long way with their cabs and it shows!

Our experience at this winery was exceptional! Rebecca guided us through a tasting of some sparkling wines and some red wines. The wines were wonderful - delicate and nuanced (not the started overly extracted pinots and cabs you expect out of Napa), and the sparkling wines were phenomenal! Rebecca was incredibly knowledgable and clearly very passionate about the wines. It was so nice to hear her describe the history of the area and the families involved. Can't wait to go back!

Today we were hosted by Ms. Segura. Not only was she incredibly personable and professional, but her knowledge and ability to educate me and my party was impeccable. I had called ahead to make a reservation and given the name of my party members. The menus were personalized and our experience was TOP NOTCH. if you've never experienced or purchased the J Schram, believe me, YOU must. Ask for Jesus or Rubie. You won't be disappointed.

I was so excited to try the Davies' tasting room after hearing great reviews from the locals and they mentioned I could also pick up my Schramsberg wines. Sadly, we were turned away on a quiet Sunday from an empty tasting room and I was told my wines were already sent. Once I arrived home I logged in to my account and no wines were shipped. It was so bizarre my date suggested that it may have been her first homophobic experience because why would you turn away wine club members. That is right as a member I could not taste their wines or pick up my wines because I did not have a reservation. I informed Shramsberg directly and here is their amazing customer service response. "Thank you for your email. I have forwarded your email to our Davies Tasting Room Mangers. I do apologize for your experience. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance." As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, this is a great example of poor customer service that started at the reception desk continued at the bar and even after I emailed them directly. Absolutely, no consideration for the fact that we were from out of town and excited new members. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by all the other wineries we visited without reservations except for the one I joined. Lesson learned

Great little spot for wine tasting! It's off the beat and path by a high school so you have to look for it. Highly recommended!

This was our favorite stop in Napa. Loved all the reds and the schramsberg was so good we joined the club. Rebecca was a terrific host and made our tasting memorable. This will be on our list every time we go to Napa.

Did a fabulous combined Pinot/Cab tasting yesterday, October 25th, at Davies Vineyards. The wines were fabulous as was the building, artwork, (metal, stone, wood, glass) finishes and exquisite service. We will be back!

I've been a Schrams club member since 2012 and Davies club member since 2017. I'm elated by the hospitality and attention to detail I receive every time I come into Davies! I've been hosted probably by all and always have learned something new even after sooo many years. The quality of the bubbles and reds are second to none. If you are in St. Helena it's definitely worth the visit and joining the club! You will be well taken care of by all that said Ilya and Kim are my fam/friends favs. Total fav is Rimple - he's awesome! Salute!

Schramsburg has once again outdone itself. The Davies label is amazing in every form we had. Ilya was the best host and brand ambassador for Davies. I highly recommend this wine the Pinot Noir is great and the Cab's are even better.

The wines were good. The tour guide was very kind and loves sharing stories of Napa and is knowledgeable of the family history. I was hoping for more of a view, like they have at their sister winery: Shramsberg. The Davies is a solid wine.

Had an excellent time at the new Davies Vineyards tasting room in St. Helena today. The building was beautiful, the staff super accommodating and knowledgeable, and the wine delicious. From our arrival to our departure, our host, Kelly, made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Our group of 3 was seated in their outdoor space, complete with a flowing fountain and enclosed by hedging giving it a relaxing, calm, and intimate feel. We were lucky enough to experience their cheese pairing offering as well. All of the items chosen were spot-on. We finished with a tour of the venue, which is stunning. Each part of the building, from the stone exterior, to the art on the wall, had some significance to the Davies family as well as the Napa Valley. What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it.

I visited the new Davies Vineyards Tasting Room about a week ago with some friends from out of town and my housemate. We were greeted at the door by our host Kelly. The center has several tasting areas both upstairs and downstairs which we would later see during our tour, but initially and for our tasting, Kelly seated us in a private room downstairs. In front of us were champagne flutes and red wine glasses. We had a J. Schram to begin and J. Schram Rosé end our tasting. These are two of Schramsberg's most expensive tête de cuvée sparkling wines. Complex and delicious. In my mind two of the finest domestic sparkling wines you will find. Between those two wines we had a couple of Pinot Noirs and a J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon. All of the wines were delicious and expressive of place. I have had the J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon many times over the years and that wine in particular seems to be getting better and better every vintage. While that wine is certainly age worthy, it's also very approachable in its youth unlike many Diamond Mountain Cabernets. The building is very tastefully decorated. The interior looks great right now. The large foudre hoops that command the two story tasting bar area are very cool. The additional tasting rooms are thoughtfully decorated. Upstairs there is a really thick medieval type wood door as an entrance to one of the tasting spaces. There is a nice outdoor seating area which we didn't use as it was breezy the day we visited. Aesthetically the exterior will likely never be the equal of the beautiful 150 year old Schramsberg property on Diamond Mountain, but as the landscaping fills in this should improve. The Tasting Fee was $50 a person which is pretty much normal for seated tastings in Napa these days. I understand that they are working on a wine and cheese pairing also. I joined the club since I live really nearby. I'll make sure to do the pairing when it's available. Big Thanks to Kelly and the rest of the team for hosting us.

This is an excellent winery with a super friendly team. I visited the NEW Davies Vineyards tasting room in downtown St.Helena on Saturday and I was very lucky to get in on a last minute call. The building is beautiful! They have a wonderful outdoor patio too. Another great thing about their location is that they are near all the good restaurants in St.Helena. You can walk to any place! I highly recommend this winery to anyone wanting an upscale wine tasting and experience. I will definitely go back soon!

Amazing time. Beautiful wines and the staff are brilliant. Jesus was our wine tasting guide (I don't know the lingo) and he was wonderful. We did a small handful of tastings in our few days in Napa Valley and this was the best. It was casual but so informative. I'd recommend this to anyone fancying a sparkling wine tasting. And the wines are absolutely delicious. 10/10 - a must see in St Helena!

We've been members at Schramsberg for years and finally came in for a tasting here. The tasting room is beautiful! and the staff is so knowledgeable. Oh yeah, the wine is amazing too! The Jamie cab beats anything else I've tried in the valley.

The wine good. But Kim is not. She was rude to one of the girls in our bridal party. When asked how much it was to purchase a bottle Kim said "you probably couldn't afford it on your Walmart budget" very unprofessional!

Undoubtedly the most pleasant and delicious wine tasting I have ever enjoyed. Our wine educator, Kelly, was knowledgeable and easy going and the effect was max fun and education - thank you Kelly for a lovely event with AMAZING wines!
