Fun family establishment. Food was good. The mozzarella appetizer was Amazing! The basket with pretzels, onion rings and curly fries was huge. Pretzels were more like toasted bread texture. Not bad-but definitely not a true pretzel. Great fun for all ages. Bowling was great. The retro video games were super fun. $5/20coins you typically only need 1-2 coins per game/machine. The bar had great cocktails. Service was slow-given we visited mid week and the place wasn’t not busy. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. **after 8:30pm-minors are not allowed in the building** plan your visit accordingly

A great place for foodies and families to hang out! I love scratching my nostalgia itch at this retro arcade, plus I get to enjoy a surprisingly modern menu. The food here is very accessible for everyone – you can get a solid burger and fries or mac & cheese if that’s what you and the kids want. If you’re a little more adventurous, they have some beautiful salads, awesome, mixed drinks, and mock tails, and delicious vegan options. The service is always fast and very friendly. Obviously, a big draw is the entertainment surrounding your dinner table. My kids had a great time bowling And bouncing from one arcade console to the next, jamming buttons on the games. I loved back in the 90s. Even on the weekends, which is when we typically go, it feels like a happening place without being excessively crowded. They’ve really done a great job With the design and overall layout of the space. Whether you’re out with some buddies, hanging with family, or just looking to have a drink and watch the game, you’ll fit right in at Decades.

This place was an absolute blast! It is perfect to take the family, or just as a fun date night. We took the kids and it was so much fun playing games while waiting for our table and food. It is important to note that kids are not allowed after 8:30; it is 21 and over only. Game tokens are the value of a quarter and the most expensive game is two tokens. We started playing games while waiting for our table. It was an 80s kid’s paradise! The drinks were phenomenal. I got the smoked pecan old fashioned and it is in the top 3 drinks I have ever had. My wife got Love Wins and it was served in a BAG! Everything about the restaurant and bar was fun. Like the rest of the restaurant, the food did not disappoint. We got the wontons, curly fries and nachos. They were all fantastic. The nachos had grilled chicken with excellent flavor, the wonton’s chili sauce was flavorful and the curly fries were nice and crispy. We would definitely recommend this place!

Google
Decades provided a welcoming, retro experience that had me enraptured the moment I walked in. I felt like I was a child again playing the games I grew up with while spending quality time with friends. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was immaculate! Definitely a place I will come back to.

Google
We come any chance we can get. My kids love the old school arcade games. I come just for the adult capri sun pouches and fried uncrustables. It can get extremely crowded and you can wait to play games sometimes

Google
Loved everything about this place. It's been on my list to visit since I moved here and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The games weren't too expensive and they had a nice variety. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in town. 🎮🍔

Google
My family and I had so much fun on our last visit that when recently visiting Lancaster we returned to Decades. From a food standpoint Decades offers many decent options to satisfy every picky eater in your family. From an adult beverage standpoint the bar offers every libation you can think of and then some. There are ample tables and high-tops to enjoy your food and beverages, but it also boasts one of the largest bars in the area. From a gaming standpoint, Decades has a variety of games for young and old alike. They have table hockey, foosball, basketball, skeeball, and all of the shoot ‘em up and old arcade favorites. It’ll shock you how long a $20 roll of tokens will last!

Rebecca Jacob

Google
Went to Decades for a casual birthday night out and had a great time. Bowling lanes are full service so we were able to eat while we played. The app sampler was enormous and delicious - especially the pretzel bites. Arcade tokens were cheap and they had a nice variety of both single and multiplayer games. Staff was friendly and attentive and overall atmosphere was awesome. Parking garage next door is easy to get in and out of, too. Will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Yelp
Games were great and brought back lots of nostalgia. Only had pretzels, but damn they were good. Will definitely come back for those. Bowling was fun and the bartenders were super cool! Would've been 5 stars but the service when we first walked in was lacking. The person behind the desk with the dark straight hair was so miserable, not a smile, not even a vocal intonation. Since it was our first time, we had a lot of questions. Her answers were short and came across condescending. I'm pretty she rolled her eyes at my fiancé. The other 2 (one with short brown, one with short black hair) people were great, but the bar was low.

Chad W.

Yelp
Everything is always amazing every time I came here. Most bars that have amazing, creative drinks tend to have boring food. That is not the case here.

Nic B.

Yelp
Vintage games, great food, bowing and drinks! Let's go! Stopped in with a large family group (young kids to grandparents) on a Saturday afternoon. Very cool use of an old space but more on that later. We sat at a long table and even though they don't take reservations, they were very accommodating. Staff was friendly, attentive and personable, great service goes a long way in my book. The menu was satisfying and the kids menu is small (literally) but has all the staples of kids food. Portion sizes were adequate and everything turned out well. Good beer list and full bar available. Nice work! The building itself is cool. It's an old Armory so there is lots of history in there and even served as the home basketball court for F&M College and a semi-pro basketball team for some time. Remnants of the basketball court still cover the floor of Decades. Vintage video games and some modern as well as bowling make this place super special...there is literally something for everyone. Highly recommend for a casual time, share some laughs and good times with friends and family.

Yelp
Fun and Food! We bowled with old school pins on strings, played ski ball, and hit the arcade like it was 1985! The food and bar were pretty decent and service was friendly. For even more fun, head upstairs forcool panorama views, air hockey, foozball, and more seating. A parking garage is next door, so parking was near and plentiful!

Eden A.

Yelp
For food I had the charred wings, half Szechuan and the other half sweet and smoky BBQ. They were good, wish the wings were a little more crispy. The staff was very pleasant, especially the bar tenders. I didn't get her name but she had green hair and was very kind (even gave me a peach ring when I asked for one). The ambiance was very relaxing when at the bar, fun and lowkey. Looking forward to seeing some upgrades to take decades over the top.

Erian R.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this super cool, massive hipster hangout with a loft area. They had a ton of games, amazing food, and the drinks were absolutely fantastic. Plus, the service was top-notch!

Stan H.

Yelp
Great hours- open till midnight on a Sunday. Tasty pouches for a few cocktail options, a fire container for toasting drinks safely!! Decades has great options for drinks with flair and flavor. Staff is friendly. Only pinball machine is electronic. Food is respectable for their hours but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. 50 cent wings w choices- not too shabby!!

Ian M.

Yelp
Good service really like the places ambiance and food was good. I'd suggest the place.

Kimberly R.

Yelp
Server was extremely pleasant. Food was ok. Not much flavor or seasoning the best was the Buffalo ranch wings the alcoholic peach punch didn't have much flavor the games were Def. Retro needed some tlc we didn't get to bowl but the area looked really cool all around nice decoration this might be a downtime if in the area and wanted to kill time but wouldn't go back for the food or drinks alone.

Leah C.

Yelp
This place has all the right ideas- cool repurposed building, great decor, "adult" capri suns, arcade games, and bowling.... but there is room for improvement. We started off my grabbing food. I got the Nashville hot wings, which had a strange sweetness to them. One of my wings came broken in half, with exposed bone clearly visible. I also had a few pieces that were rubbery. The ranch that came with it tasted homemade, and the celery was crunchy so that was a plus. Our waiter was slow to refill drinks, and didn't bring us napkins until we were almost done with our wings. I also tried my friend's truffle fries, which had a good flavor but were cold. We then shuffled on over to the arcade games. This was probably about 10:30/11pm. It was so packed it was hard to get on a single game. Many of them were broken too, with several not keeping score and others not turning on at all. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap they made the games, with most games being 1-2 tokens. We ended the night at the bowling alley. It was $10/person, for shoes and an hour of playing. There was a nice mix of weighted bowling balls and the area was clean. The pins are on strings- hilarious to watch as they occasionally spazz out. It was reminiscent of a puppeteer. The string system is flawed though, with some of our friends getting strikes with pins standing but more commonly not giving us strikes for throws we feel confident would have been a strike in a "classic" bowling alley.

Yelp
What a joke this place is! Recommended by some friends, I have to say we were disappointed. Like many of my reviews, I'll point out the good and bad. Good: A cool collection of old school video games and a few bowling lanes. The idea behind this place may have been good on paper but execution is so wrong. The BAD: 1. Place is filthy dirty. From the floors and tables, to the games themselves which all needed to be wiped down. The bathrooms were abhorrent and scary. 2. Food - Terrible. I was told this was going to be elevated bar fare. We ordered a number of items. ALL of them were terrible to the point that we simply could not finish any dish. Whoever created the menu, should be taken to "REAL" restaurant to be shown what real food is. By the end of the evening, some of us were nauseus. 3. The people - I know that staffing can be a challenge these days but where did they get some of these employees???? Servers who didn't know anything about the menu and couldn't answer any question nor make recommendations on food or drinks or beer. We had two different servers oh also had to experience a female from the front desk area that didn't smile, could barely put two words together and appeared abit catatonic. Again, great concept on paper but terrible execution.

Jenn A.

Yelp
Was expecting a more family friendly experience. When we arrived there were no bowling lanes available and when we asked to reserve one we were informed the next available would be 9pm or later (over 4 hours!) We wound up leaving without ordering food as it was too loud and was more of a bar scene than it was a family friendly arcade. To our family- it wasn't worth the drive. For a twenty-something looking to hang out with friends over some drinks, maybe. It was definitely not what we had expected after hearing such positive reviews.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Wings were AMAZING !! 2 adults and 2 young kids on a Sunday...we got the $.50 wing special (10 wings per person). Sweet bbq, dry rub, honey, and sweet and sour. All were so good, tasty and crunchy. A couple of wings came out too crunchy (burnt) but between they wings, the service and the stout chocolate beer this place deserves a 5! Ambiance is great. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Good music. Nice seating area, and a few games to keep some people happy.

Nikki C.

Yelp
I'm sorry friends but I can't share this gem. Selfish of me? Maybe. Do I want the line for n64 to be minimal? Yes! Took a trip to Lancaster to...do Lancaster stuff. Stopped at Decades and it did NOT disappoint. I loves me some 80s/90s nostalgia and this bar got it all. The bartenders were really personable and their drinks are cool asf! Gotta love a adult capri sun. Their game/arcade selection? Unmatched! I saw games that I haven't laid eyes on in yearsssssss. I played my heart out and drank while I did it lol. Their food is also pretty good as well.

Stacey B.

Yelp
It's was fun for a date night! The food was pretty good, and the games were fun. I've had better drinks, but overall a fun experience!

Jeff F.

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing. Staff very friendly. The food, well. This place has great potential if they would just focus more on the food and less on the bowling and games. Not to mention a super small menu. Everything we ate was very bland. Not a ton of flavor on anything. And the amount per price was not good. We ordered empanadas as an appetizer. Two very small barely filled pieces of fried dough. Probably won't make the journey again.

Sara S.

Yelp
We have a blast everytime we are here! My favorite game is skee ball and although they have 4 skee ball machines and there is usually always one that is broken at any given time but they have so many other games that it usually isn't a big deal. The food is good and the cocktails are phenomenal. I got to know some of the staff and they were great guys. We always look forward to going to Decades!

Carrie R.

Yelp
Had an EXCELLENT small work party here. The set up was perfect and the small bit of catering we'd ordered was great! Everyone had a wonderful time! Bowling, arcade games, skee ball...excellent drinks... how could you go wrong?!

Evan W.

Yelp
Decades Wanting an all adult place to go after 8:30 pm? You need to head to Decades. This restarcadebar (restaurant, arcade & bar) was absolutely phenomenal. I went here to meet some friends who came into town to visit me in Lancaster. They asked, " where can we meet up? We will be in Lancaster by 11 pm? I remembered Decades cause I went a few weeks ago. Listen, I am a stickler about my drinks. Bartenders at decades are extremely skilled and passionate about their craft. I ordered a Caipirinha (absolutely phenomenal and I make them myself and they were on par to my liking) then ordered three more. They were too good. I appreciate the bartenders who assisted me and my friends and the conversations they engaged with us in. Moon, one of the bartenders has a beautiful spirit about her, and I appreciated her taking the time to inform me about local dive bars that are good. I ordered the fried ricotta balls for dessert and they were outrageously delicious to the point where I wanted to ordered a second order. The ambiance in this place was wonderful, the music vibe was great and it is a space where people can find their communities at. Thanks so much, Decades for a great night out!

Adam S.

Yelp
Gay friendly. Crispy wing, Strong Drink. Shrek Pinball. Haunted. Old Bowling. Crack in pretzels. Gay Friendly.

Christopher B.

Yelp
Very cool concept! It's an old armory, so there's history in that and the building reflects it. And then, it's an arcade with all 1980s/90s games, and I love that too, even if some of the games ate some coins (talk about authentic). The menu is simple, with lots of appetizer options. Bowling alleys fill up quick. My advice? Order apps and drinks, throw some coins in an old game and if you can bowl, do it! Servers are friendly. It's a good time.

Eileen S.

Yelp
I recently moved to Lancaster and have been here about 8 times in a few short months. It is my go to spot when anyone is visiting to bring them to Decades. It is phenomenal! The staff is amazing, the draft beer list and cocktails are incredible, the food has limited options but still is delicious, and the atmosphere of the place is simply the best. Put your name down for bowling right when you show up and it shouldn't take too long! What an amazing spot!

Ian S.

Yelp
Really a fun spot, crowded but well worth it. We didn't have a reservation but were quickly and easily able to secure a table near the crowded bar. As many places are, they were somewhat understaffed, so getting the attention of the bartender was the only issue. They were working hard and super nice. The beer list was extensive and awesome, and some of the cocktails were served in super fun grown-up Capri-Sun style juice pouches. Love that! We enjoyed the pretzel bites - which were to die for - and the wings and the jambalaya bites. Everything was delicious, and then we went and played video games and played skee ball and mini hoops. Awesome! What a fun, fun spot!

Sarah L.

Yelp
The drinks were interestingly served in a pouch. The arcade games were fun, although tightly placed together in some spots. The food was delicious, especially the fried pretzel bites app. The bowling was fun and we all had a blast.

Alexis S.

Yelp
Decades has become one of our local favorites. Their menu is incredible, and they really care about their customers. You can tell that they take suggestions and adjust their menu accordingly. It just keeps getting better and better. The cocktails are so fun and full of thought. It's one of our favorite places to go to relax, play some games, and enjoy a nice meal.

Maria D.

Yelp
Came here for a get together with a few friends. One of my friends familiar with Decades made the suggestion and felt it would be a good fit for all of us. They have a bar, serve food, have a bowling alley, and also arcade games so there's plenty to do. While familiar with the old armory building and landmark statue out front I was not aware that it became something else. I was looking forward to seeing the renovations. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Expecting to find street parking (we didn't) we had to park in the adjoining parking garage. There's alot of multi-unit family homes in the area so expect street parking to be problematic - even on a Sunday. Immediately inside we were greeted by a lobby than a huge space consisting of (from what I can see) the arcade, dining, and bar. You had to walk thru the arcade to get to the bar and dining. I will say that I expected a little more separation between to the two and would have preferred that actually. However the renovation was timeless and well done and they kept alot of the original features. I felt like I was in a 1920's speakeasy. I didn't see the bowling alley but my friend says it's there. While it is "family friendly" I wouldn't bring children as it definitely has more of a bar vibe than Dave and Buster's. While it was the end of January they had a seating area decorated for Christmas. Originally we were going to sit there with drinks to catch up comfortably but the space is used for video games. The bar was massive and the bartender attentive although we had limited contact. As it was I noticed at check in that they were only open for 22 minutes but we had planned on staying awhile. My friend said their Sunday hours were till 10 pm however on that day the entire space was closing for a private party. We were all disappointed that we had to go elsewhere and I personally was looking forward to trying their food. I would love to come back to try the food and play a few games of bowling but probably won't because I rarely pay to park.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
This place is designed to impress. It is bowling alley meets speakeasy with an enormous amount of room. As a precious Armory's gymnasium it still boasts the original curved ceiling and wooden slat floors. The only downside to all this space is that it is LOUD. You could be dinning right next to a lane with bowling balls whizzing by (don't worry, there is a partition so you won't get harmed). Beyond the environment, the menu boasts a wonderful wine list and an extensive draft beer (24 taps) offering. They have handcrafted cocktails (smoked Manhattan anyone?) and a full bar. Our dinner included burrata with micro-greens that tasted like beets and grilled, spicy peaches, a huge burger, succotash, pretzel bites (soft pretzel cut up, washed with butter, and grilled), and bbq chicken flatbread (very yummy), but cut up by Picasso-loving chef. Some items are amazing and some feel like they are being forced to be amazing, but I hear it changes regularly so you won't get bored. All in all, I would say their novel approach is worth seeing and their menu, while expensive, it worth trying. It is a top-notch place that Lancaster is lucky to have.

Hannah W.

Yelp
Starting with three stars because I didn't eat or have drinks. This place will do exceptionally well in Lancaster. Alcohol, food, games, and the ability to cut your kids loose?! SOLD! Opening week and there was a constant flow of people. The bar was packed, lanes were full, and families filled the booths. It's centrally located, easily walkable from any corridor of the city, and spacious inside. The menu was more elevated than anticipated. I look forward to trying a few things during my next visit. The craft beer list had plenty of options and signature cocktails sounded delightful. Loved the added touches of the chandeliers, token cups, durable menus, and plenty of seating. Very obvious that the owners took the time to create a warm, inviting, and fun atmosphere for all ages. I will say, if you plan on spending an evening here with your family, be prepared to cough up some dollars. Had my partner and I decided to have dinner (while the kiddos played) we would have easily spent $100 on food and drinks. Add on the money spent for games and an hour of bowling...potentially $200+. For many working families this isn't feasible.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Everything here is thoughtfully done. From decor. To the game selection. To the perfect seasonal gastro pub menu. To the top shelf cocktails. And amazing gluten free options

Kristine N.

Yelp
Decently priced cocktails in a large Capri sun pouch! I recommend the daiquiri for a sweet easy drink. They had plenty of classic arcade, carnival, and video games with a bowling alley too. Great place to have a fun night with a group of friends. Super friendly bartenders- the one remembered my friend after the last time she was here and recommended us some other local bars to check out later in the night.

Kristine C.

Yelp
Got the vegan hot chickn sandwich and it was probably the best vegan chicken sandwich I've ever had! It was crispy and spicy and flavorful, so delectable! The chips had a really special flavor too! This is such an awesome place to go bowling, eat a meal, or play some skeeball or corn ball :)

Lindsay L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and went bowling afterwards. Dinner was good, food was delicious but the options were limited. Drinks were strong. Our waiter, Tyler I think his name was was a little strange honestly. He originally told my friend who is vegan that they couldn't put almond milk in her mixed drink in place or eliminate the milk all together...he often had a condescending tone like we were stupid but overall he wasn't that bad. Not sure how a place doesn't have almond milk on hand when they have all these vegan options on the menu. Anyway, bowling was a lot of fun. There were only 3 lanes open and available to reserve. We didn't know that you have to reserve the lane ahead of time if you're there because we ate at 8:30pm and didn't get to bowl until 11:30pm. They serve you drinks and food if you want anything at the bowling alley and shoes are like $6. Overall, cool place to check out if you're around the area.

Luis C.

Yelp
The bowling alleys were way to slim and way to slick. It was almost as if they dumped a gallon of baby oil onto the lanes. Decent food but don't come to bowl. Service was good and environment was nice. Bowling sucked

Eileen Y.

Yelp
So fun and so affordable. If you want to avoid the crowds, come late on a Sunday/weekday. That way you can really enjoy the games without waiting for a spot. You can even play classic N64 games on their comfy couch! Hubby and I will definitely return when we visit Lancaster again! - Eileen

Debbie S.

Yelp
While I was visiting Lancaster I went here for the first time. We had a great time. Sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and the pretzel bites appetizer. It was giant portion and delicious!!! The bartender, I forgot his name was very friendly and explained how it works with the games. We bought tokens to play some games. The price for tokens is very reasonably priced. $5 got me 20 tokens, which basically 20 games. I played a lot of skee ball, which was my favorite as a kid. This is what this place does, it transports you back in time to your childhood days. We had so much fun and I will definitely be back when I am in Lancaster again

Jasbir S.

Yelp
The site didn't mention anything about 21and over after 8:30pm so we took a 30 mins drive with kids just to find out about this ridiculous policy. I can understand after 10pm but at 8:30pm? Seriously.

Rebecca J.

Yelp
Friday night--made reservations. Had 1 person in our party that was 18. Was told we would have to leave by 8:30- that even if we were seated eating, the 18-year-old would not be allowed to stay and would have to leave. Several of us ordered cheese steaks, and wings. Food was good, not great. Mac and cheese was very salty. Couldn't even eat it. Maybe a better bar scene than restaurant.

A. P.

Yelp
What a blast! We were considering going to Round 1, but after reading negative reviews we chose Decades instead. What a GOOD choice! Absolutely adorable with old-fashioned bowling lanes and an arcade. Great for both kids and adults. They have a nice food menu and excellent drinks, including the best hard cider I've ever had. The staff are friendly and the building is a converted historical armory, which is neat if you enjoy architecture. Prices were very fair, six dollars per person per bowling game and most arcade games only took one to two tokens. We arrived when it opened and noticed that it quickly filled up, so I would recommend getting there as early as possible to avoid a line/wait. Would 100% visit again when in Lancaster.

Kurt I.

Yelp
I will admit, I waited to come to this place because it just seemed to attract everything I hate about "hip bars" - but I have to admit, even an old curmudgeon like me had a great time. I tried to pay a few games but they didn't accept quarters and I didn't feel like hassling with the token situation. The food is great. I'm picky as hell. I know this. The food was great. I got the hummus and a vegan chicken and greens thing. It came with Mac n cheese that was mush and flavorless, but the greens were spot on. These tasted just like the old church ladies used to make for me at the soul food joint when I was a kid. Mmmm mmmm. I'll be back and will attempt to be more patient when getting tokens to play a game or two. Maybe. Gimme those greens.

Keith O.

Yelp
Excellent concept that is excellently executed! An old huge gym/armory converted to a restaurant / bar / arcade / bowling alley. Cool decor, great vibe, retro graphics. Generous portions of delicious grownup takes on comfort food (pulled pork, sloppy Joe's, cheesesteak, wings), great cocktails, and 20+ beers on tap. 6 bowling lanes, skee ball, and old school video games. Great service for our large party. An awesome experience for the whole family! Note, family friendly early on the evening, adults only after 8:30.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Love the games and set up, the menu isn't very flexible (we were there with 4 picky teenagers). Cocktails were delicious, and the set up was fun. Nice for the kids to have something to do we visited. Would definitely return.

Madison G.

Yelp
This place is SO much fun! Whether it's a birthday party, work gathering, or just looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon...this place is worth checking out! There is bowling, old school (and new school) arcade games, and a small dining area in the back. There is also a fully stocked bar, complete with great mixed drinks! It is a bit pricy, so don't expect to get any "cheap" cocktails or food here, but it is certainly worthy of the price tag. Some of my favorite dishes I have had includes the soft pretzel bites - complete with pimento cheese and mustard, spinach dip, and the delicious wings! It's also worth checking out their extensive original cocktail list. They are tasty and so different! This is a place that kids and adults alike can have fun at. It can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, so I suggest going early if you mind a crowd.

Jenny K.

Yelp
came here for some drinks and had a good time! the food was also delicious; we got the spinach dip and pretzel bites which was more than enough to share with our group. i love that you can add tokens on the bar tab! the nice bartender gave us a shot of surge, brings back memories!

David D.

Yelp
Had a blast Saturday night while in town visiting. We went old school and played skee ball bowling on vintage lanes. So much fun. Staff was very attentive and good beer selection. Place is old brick building which would make for a great 1950s film set. Only splitting hair complaint would be they should have authentic legit pinball machines instead of knock offs. Otherwise place was spot on

Eileen T.

Yelp
What an unusual experience!! This immense converted building has a great vibe as a restaurant/bar/arcade/bowling alley!! Deliciousness and Fun combined. Appetizers very tasty! Can you say Pierogis - soft pretzel bits with 2 yummy dips - and much more. Pulled Pork sandwiches - Cheeseburgers - etc. Every mouthful was better than the next. And don't get me started on the specialty bar drinks. Can't wait for another visit. After eating and drinking, we had fun at the arcade. Didn't bowl - next time!

Travis P.

Yelp
The best thing I can say about Decades is that I have never been to another place quite like it. If you want to have a blast with your friends, go bowling, play some skee ball, or shoot some arcade hoops. For you arcade gamers out there, they have all the classics. If you want a more low-key evening, sit in the dinning and enjoy their unique menu. And don't worry about the bowling being a distraction or damper on your night. Whoever designed the interior knew what they were doing, as the sounds of bowling have been muted to a pleasant background noise. Decades also has a fantastic drink menu (try the Old Fashioned!), complete with sophisticated cocktails, wines, and a great beer selection. I have only sampled a few appetizers off of the menu, but the wings pretzels and spaetzle were all top notch. Decades is a unique idea, executed well. I look forward to spending a lot of time there in the future, as I believe it is Lancaster's new and best destination for fun.

Yelp
this review is STRICTLY related to retro gaming. for purists and hardcore arcade enthusiasts, Decades misses the mark. respectfully, most of the cabs have been rebuilt with new decals, wood, and often the joystick section---all new. ok, so, not great (i.e. they didnt spend cash to source original parts, etc). but i couldnt stop being bothered by the poor monitor replacements and lack of attention to aspect ratio. many of their cabs clearly have a modern flat panel inside, and then even worse, the game images arent scaled correctly. will younger people or casuals notice? probably not. but for a true arcade nut....this is a "pass" for me. it feels like a step above a Mame cabinet destination, but not worth your time if you're into actual arcade preservation. i understand "why" they did it this way--but it feels like buying a classic car and then just wanting to drive it, not preserve the original look or feel.

Yelp
Our first time here and we'll definitely be back, the staff is so welcoming, the drinks and beer selection are great, the food is simple, yet amazingly big on flavor, we started with the house pierogies, and jambalaya fritters, I suggest both as they are amazing, than my wife had the grilled cheese with carmelized onions with tomato soup( I tried it and highly recommended it, I'm not a tomato soup fan but this may have changed my tune) I myself had their house smash burger which is simple yet delicious, the simple melted yellow American cheese, and brioche roll paired with the Mayo, ketchup and crisp lettuce was a hit, and might I mention the food was piping hot, so if your an 80's kid and love comfort food with arcade games decades is your place!!!

Yelp
I love this place. I love the food and the atmosphere. It can get a bit busy in here, but I realize that's because how good it is. There's a bowling alley, cool games, delicious food and creative drinks. They even have good food options for those who are vegetarian or vegan. I'll definitely be back. I'm bringing my family along too if I can get them to drive from our distance.

Yelp
8/22 visit. Visited this time with my future in laws and fiancé for my birthday. We shared honey garlic wings and French fries as an appetizer. Both were a huge hit! I had burrata and Caesar salad for my entree. I enjoyed both. I'm still stuck on 4 stars but I'll be back again for the next seasons menu.
