Downtown is Getting a New Retro Arcade and Bar | Eater Portland

"Up on the upper mezzanine overlooking the streets, I found a playful bar and arcade known as the Dinercade, with a selection of new and vintage arcade games and pinball machines and a menu of snacks, beers, wines, and cocktails. Drinks are named for video game references, like the Princess Peach—a peachy bourbon iced tea—and The Hadouken, a floral and slightly sweet gin cocktail with the hue of Ryu’s blue fireball; beers are offered in cans, and the food menu is snacky, with house-made items such as caramel corn and trail mix, while hungrier guests can head downstairs to The Original to order from its large menu of diner staples. The Dinercade shares The Original’s hours, opening bright and early each day and staying open until 10 p.m. during the week and midnight on weekends." - Alex Frane
