The Best Indian Restaurants In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"One look at the stack of packaged food by the entrance and the steady parade of delivery drivers and you'll know that most people use Midtown’s Desi Spice for takeout. But even if your preference is to sit inside the gold-laced dining room, it's worth knowing that Desi has one of the most comprehensive Indian menus inside the Perimeter. Come here for consistent standouts like a hearty lamb saag wala and paneer tikka masala. And most dishes, like the creamy chicken tikka masala, can be customized to your spice preference. Battling it out for a parking spot at this busy Midtown restaurant feels well worth the effort." - juli horsford, jacinta howard, nina reeder

The Best Restaurants In Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Yes, you’ll probably have a Ric Flair–level wrestling match for a parking spot in Desi Spice’s Midtown lot, but the fantastic food makes it worth the effort. Dishes like creamy chicken masala or chana masala—tender chickpeas simmered in a rich, tomato-based gravy—are just a few standouts from a menu packed with great options. The takeout game is strong, too, so if you dine in, expect a steady stream of delivery drivers floating in and out. The small Indian restaurant has plush, kind of fancy chairs that make you sit up a little straighter—but the overall feel is relaxed. Either way, Desi Spice is always in the rotation when we’re craving Indian food (it’s on our citywide best list)." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder

Desi Spice Indian Cuisine Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Grabbing a seat at one of Desi Spice’s gleaming, gold-accented chairs will be far easier than the wrestling match you’ll have over for a parking spot in this Midtown lot. Once inside, you’ll watch delivery drivers float in and out (since most use this Indian restaurant  for takeout). But whether you’re dining in or carrying out, you’re here because this place serves some of the most flavorful Indian dishes you’ll find inside the Perimeter. Order the creamy chicken tikka masala or the chana masala with tender chickpeas simmered in a rich, tomato-based gravy customized to your spice preference. And as you tear into your warm naan bread, you'll know your parking lot tussle was worth it. Food Rundown Shrimp Curry Juicy shrimp with their briny sweetness cut through the velvety spices of a golden curry sauce. Chana Masala Tender chickpeas float in a rich tomato gravy. This is a solid, middle-of-the road chana. Order this with medium-to-high heat if you like spice. Chicken Tikka Masala This dish is creamy with tender chicken. It comes with a pinch of sweet, no matter which heat level you choose. Garlic Naan The bread is pillowy yet sturdy enough for scooping." - Jacinta Howard

Google
Hands down my favorite place to dine in Atlanta. Trust me on this, they have the best chicken 65 in this city. Along with that the butter chicken is also one of the best. The servers as always are amazing. Fatin and Tawhid were my servers today and can’t complain a single bit - they were amazing. Overall it’s always an amazing and consistent experience that I get from Desi Spice. Highly Recommended!

Google
Shakib was my server, he was amazing. Food was good too. I got a chicken 65 and it was the perfect crunch, and to top it off, I got some garlic naan. Fluffy and soft, paired with the 65 was simply delicious. Dont regret coming here, and will def recommend!

Labib

Google
Had an amazing experience at Desi Spice today! The food was bursting with authentic flavors especially the curry and naan Big shoutout to Sakib and Sneha for their warm and attentive service felt genuinely taken care of Definitely coming back for more!

Google
these people are horrible They literally hung up the phone on me just now. I just mentioned the spice level and the samosas were all oily. They just hung up the phone without even like considering me being a customer I would never recommend this place and also the food is not good. it looks like they’re making their samosas with horrible oil. It looks disgusting.

Google
The food was decent, but the prawn puri was outstanding and absolutely delightful. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, complemented by a nice mix of Hollywood and Bollywood songs. The service was good as well. I tried a unique version of haleem, which wasn’t authentic but still very enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with my friends.

Google
Amazing food that you need to try if you want Indian in Atlanta! Highly recommend!! So yummy, everything exceeded expectations and we all left smiling! The service was amazing; they were super accommodating to anything we asked. Seriously the best indian food I’ve ever had!

Google
Sure! Here’s a short, flavorful food review in my words: Absolutely delicious! The vegetable samosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful, spiced veggies inside. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and melted in the mouth with every bite. And the lamb jhalfraizi—bold, spicy, and full of depth—was a true standout. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic flavor. Highly recommended!

Google
I dined yesterday and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm, and our server was very nice and attentive. The butter chicken was delicious-rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The mango lassi perfectly complemented the meal with its refreshing sweetness. I highly recommend here. Great service and mouth-watering dishes make it a must-visit!. Also after 8:40pm it is free parking.

Yelp
The service is far above what you typically experience in Atlanta. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating and they put in the extra work to ensure any questions are answered and that you get the proper level of spice you desire. They have the absolute best butter chicken I've ever had and the naan is light and delicious. The lamb vindaloo, chicken 65 and Biryani's are extremely delicious and satisfying. We drive from Douglasville anytime we want Indian food because it's definitely worth the trip and we can't find anything near as good (food and service) anywhere else.

Yelp
A Hidden Gem in Midtown Atlanta - Desi Spice Delivers Perfection! From the moment we stepped into Desi Spice for an early dinner, we knew we were in for something special. The service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, and every interaction with the staff was warm, polite, and welcoming. It set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. We started with the vegetable samosa, which was absolute perfection--crispy, flavorful, and paired with two delightful sauces that elevated every bite. The hot tea with milk was just the thing for a cool evening, comforting and fragrant with just the right balance of warmth and spice. For our entrées, the Chicken Korma was nothing short of divine--seasoned to absolute perfection with a creamy, velvety sauce that had just a hint of sweetness. It was the perfect balance--not too mild, not too spicy--just exquisitely crafted. The Saag Paneer was another standout, rich and luscious, with tender, fresh cheese that melted in the mouth, perfectly complemented by its creamy, spice-infused sauce. The Vegetable Biryani was a masterpiece in itself--aromatic, beautifully spiced, and filled with a perfectly balanced mix of vegetables and fragrant rice that made every bite a delight. And just when we thought the meal couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The Gulab Jamun--those soft, syrup-soaked dumplings--were the ultimate indulgence, a sweet and satisfying end to a flawless meal. Desi Spice is an absolute treasure in Midtown Atlanta! Every dish was crafted with care, every flavor perfectly balanced, and the service was outstanding. Whether you're a lover of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. We cannot recommend it highly enough! 10/10 - Will be back soon! Rob and Terry

Yelp
My belly is full because I was so hungry. The soup, and pappadum were delicious. The garlic naan needed more butter and garlic. As for the curry chicken whew!! Consider when your customers ask for mild they mean mild. I can't imagine if I asked for anything hotter with the curry chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed the green and red sauces that came with the pappadum and the mulligatawny soup!! Almost perfect!!

Yelp
This is a local fave!! Service here was welcoming, Warwick and efficient! Food came out quickly, good portions and they will prepare entrees to the spice levels you desire. In all my years of coming year I have never had a bad meal. All the nan is also made to order. Garlic and the cheese are my favorites. They also serve beer and wine. Decor is traditionally Indian and very beautiful!

Yelp
I dined in last night and have no complaints. The service was attentive and the place filled up around 7:30. While I initially felt they were trying to turn the table, that energy dissipated and my friend and I sat for hours catching up, having our waters refilled repeatedly. Veggie samosas were a hit (maybe slightly overcooked on the outside but well flavored inside). I enjoyed the tarka daal (hot) with garlic naan. The consistently and spice level were perfect IMO. Garlic naan is some of the best I've had in/around Atlanta. It flakes and stretches in equal measure which is a difficult balance to strike.

Yelp
During my recent visit to Atlanta we went here not once but twice. It was THAT good. My niece and I went one night for dinner and had the best experience ever. All of the wait staff were excellent, we especially enjoyed Nabil who was hilarious! We couldn't decide between the chicken 65 and the Tandoori wings. We went with the wings but were pleasantly surprised when Nabil also brought us the chicken 65. While both were delicious the 65 was our favorite! We also ordered butter chicken, veggies and garlic naan. The butter chicken and naan were spectacular but we didn't love the veggies that were a bit mushy for our taste. Surprisingly the star of the show, that brought us back again 2 days later was the hot masala chai! I still dream about that chai, it is truly magical. All in all we love this restaurant and it's now on my list of places to eat while in Atlanta.

Yelp
This place is still as good as I remember it to be. My now husband and I went on a "date" after the movies here a few years ago. We went back this past weekend to order take out after seeing a movie. We ordered the chicken biryani which was very good with the right amount of medium spice. Portion size was good and filling!

Nasr B.

Yelp
This use to be a favorite spot, I would come here ALL the time and bring friends. But maybe it's different when you eat out now. This portion I got was 18.50 after taxes and all there was is what's pictured. There is supposed to be a fair portion of peppers and onions and they treated it like a cheap to-go. This was unacceptable and hope they bring their standard to where it use to be because the food is very good. But with everyone scraping for margins, it ls starting to show in their portions. I'm glad I checked the bag because it did seem a big light. Hope they are able to be better with to-go orders.

Yelp
We placed a pick-up order for Chicken Tikka Masala, with one serving being super hot and the other medium. The garlic cilantro naan was excellent, and the Chicken Tikka Masala had a great flavor, although it wasn't as sweet as I prefer. The chicken chunks were slightly overcooked, but overall, it was OK.

Michael H.

Yelp
I've been to India for work maybe 70 times, mostly to Mumbai, and thought I'd try Desi's butter chicken. Let me tell you... this butter chicken was better than any restaurant I've ever been to on the Indian sub-continent. Tender, moist, succulent, and cooked to perfection. Just the absolute perfect amount of spicyness and flavor. The basmati rice was so light and fluffy; a perfect accompaniment for the creamy sauce. They also gave me 15% discount for my order (over $30 for takeout). Try them, you will love the food.

Yelp
Usually good Indian places are outside the city, but surprisingly this place has good food. It's only a short walk from Piedmont park. I've been a few times so I'm overdue to write a review. Now, I will say on this last visit, the Tarka Daal was quite salty and the shrimp saag wala only had a few pieces of shrimp; MAYBE 4 and the dish is $18 so rightfully so thats a turnoff and probably wouldn't order it again. At least with that protein. We also ordered the Bhindi Okra and 2 orders of garlic naan. Both were good. It's a small place and it's not busy when I come which can be a good thing cause you'll always have a seat but on the other hand, concerns you a bit. They're attentive as well. Parking is free for 2 hours and it's located upstairs in the Monroe Drive plaza.

Yelp
In the Atlanta area for a special occasion, stopped by Desi Spice Indian Cuisine which was in the area -- technically in downtown Atlanta. Group of five incl. family and relatives, got seating inside. Here is what our group had: - Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spicy) - Chicken Tikka Biriyani (medium spicy) - Goat Vindaloo (medium spicy) All the food was really good here. Rich, and flavorful dishes. Each with their unique taste and flavor. Chicken Tikka is a bit on the sweetish side, so I recommend getting at least medium spicy. We also got the Chicken Tikka Biriyani, rather than the normal Chicken one. It is the dish with rice, and was similarly pretty spot on. Goat Vindaloo is flavorful, but a deeper, more refined kind of richness. It was also really good. All in all, two excellent dishes, plenty of garlic naan and basmati rice to go around, and the only negative I found was the smallish quantities for curry (sauce) and pieces -- sufficiently enough for five people to share, however. All in all, this choice was a shot in the dark, but turned out to be really well in practice. Great flavors and quality of dishes here. Highly recommend!

Yelp
On the hunt for a late night take out spot I landed here. I am still on the hunt, but sometimes you have some stops along the way. Looking at the menu I was a bit taken aback by the entrees being $15+, I guess inflation hits. So I stuck with the snacks: halim and chicken 65. Halim has been my latest fascination with a spiced up lentil soup. Though this one was a bit of an odd flavor and unclear why there was such a big lemon chunk in the bowl. Definitely under seasoned for me and the lemon left an off taste. The chicken 65 came with a mayo sauce. Though the chicken itself looked amazing and had all the visual cues of chicken 65 though tasted bland. The mayo sauce was a nice way to break up the bites, but honestly there wasn't any spice and it just felt underwhelming. Overall, checked this place off the list. Maybe the expensive entrees were better, but the snacks I got were not.

Yelp
Best butter chicken in Atlanta! So delicious. We've eaten here twice (once in person and once via delivery). The garlic naan and mango lassi are so good and fresh. The customer service is great too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Probably the best Indian food I've had! The goat korma was wonderful--I asked for extra spicy, and they delivered the most delicious dish with heat that didn't overwhelm the creamy onion flavor of the korma. The goat was tender with great selection of meat to fat ratio. The jalfraizi was decadent and delicious with the acidity cutting through the thickness of the korma. The naan had to be the fluffiest and most savory naan I've had. The mango juice was just what I was looking for, sweet but not thick as lassi would be. The service was good, and the restaurant was cozy with beautiful decorative components. A cute date night for my boyfriend and I after not seeing each other for months.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night probably an hour before they closed. They were very hospitable and the service was pretty quick. There was a party of about 8 at another table but other than that it wasn't very busy. The samosa and the garlic naan was delicious! I didn't care for the lamb tikka masala though. I feel as if the lamb should've been cooked longer. It was very hard to bite into. The chicken tikka masala was pretty good. If I want late night Indian food again, we would probably return.

Yelp
Walked over from the beltline for an amazing meal. Many things were ordered.... Couldn't help ourselves. They ask what level spice you would like for each meal order that requires it. We started with the mango buttermilk drink - creamy and delicious. Next we had the wings - spice level hot. I kinda died but I came back. (I am a poor marker for spice, I can't handle it) the dinner for two came out perfectly. And we also ordered the chicken biryani (yellow rice) which was top notch. The last thing to come out was the proteins on the sizzling platter. It was on the back of the menu and I would be wrong to even try to a name that I can't remember. The service was amazing, the staff was attentive and asked how each plate was also checking spice level. They made great suggestions for us to try and I'm really glad we tried it! Inside is quiet and the decor is very pretty and detailed. Lots of take out orders headed out which only supports how delicious their food is. I believe the back parking lot may require validation and the front parking lot is Trader Joe's and they are strict about their parking. Just a heads up! Unsure if they validate parking but worth asking! Enjoy!

Yelp
This review is for 3.5 stars. I have always been curious about this Indian restaurant when I've visited other places in the Promenade. Was looking for something close by to eat so decided to finally give it a shot. The restaurant itself is not very big on the inside and there were maybe only two other tables that had guests dining at the time we went. I will say that the male employee who seated us was friendly. We Ordered the Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Naan to eat. All of the dishes were decent, but I felt they were a little "watered" down to cater to an American pallette. I was certainly expecting bolder flavors of Indian spices to come through with every bite but alas, it was more on the milder side.. And I'm not referring to heat when I say "mild", but rather it was really more about the robust flavors that were lacking. Overall, this place was ok and I wouldn't cross it off the list of options for Indian food. However, if you're looking for super authentic Indian cuisine in terms of flavors then you may find this spot to be slightly off the mark.

Yelp
When the mood strikes for Indian food, my wife and I possess a repertoire of go to places for takeout that caters to most of our regional Indian food cravings from Bangladeshi to Hyderabadi. We typically avoid North Indian food in the takeout setting, but sometimes the mood for butter chicken and naan strikes and nothing else can satisfy it. I read good things about Desi Spice in Midtown from South Asian Yelpers/bloggers and decided to give it a shot when an acute craving for creamy curries and fresh naan hit me. The butter chicken sated the hankering well. The dish, ordered "super hot," offered chunks of tender, tandoori marinated chicken meat in a rich, slightly sweet, and well spiced tomato gravy. Many restaurants scale back the spice or add too much heavy cream to cater to American palates, so I appreciated the piquant seasoning and restrained creaminess. I unfortunately received the incorrect second main dish, as I got the lamb "saag paneer" style rather than the saagwala style. This dish had cubes of lamb meat and paneer in a slightly creamy gravy of chopped spinach. While I didn't care for the chewy paneer chunks, the lamb itself had a tender texture and the gravy again had good spicing and wasn't too greasy. The naans here rank among the fluffiest I've had in metro Atlanta and had a good char from the tandoor. The naans could have been a little chewier and more flavorful, but the bread proved an apt vehicle to sop up the curries. Prices were on par with other in town Indian restaurants, and I received my order essentially on time. Ordering via the QMenu app allows you to use coupons (such as 15% off a $30* order), so I would highly recommend going that route. Overall, Desi Spice is a solid option to satisfy the North Indian food when the mood strikes. It won't supplant my go to Indian take out places for my usual cravings, but when I want a comfort food meal of butter chicken and naan I'll gladly order again.

Yelp
My friend recommended Desi. She said its really good. We both like Indian food. Service was phenomenal. Food came out in a timely manner. I ordered Tikka Masala and my friend order something that the server recommended. My tikka was a bit too sweet but my garlic naan and samosa was really good. My friends food was a bit bland. She mentioned this to our service and he took it off the bill. The restaurant is pretty small and intimate could be a bit bigger but overall I def come here again for the tandoori.

Daniel R.

Yelp
Food was amazing! My partner and I split 3 of the dishes, rice, and naan and we loved it! The order came out fast and the service was great.

Yelp
I love Desi Spice! The food is always tasty and the service is fast and friendly. It's open late-ish and in a great area so you can shop at Trader Joe's, take in a movie and eat a delicious meal. Nothing I have had has ever been bad but the samosas are favorites even though it seems weird that they offer beef. The naan is excellent as is the tikka masala but you really can't go wrong here. I like the biryanis as well. It's kind of small so the tables are close but it's got good flow so it doesn't feel really cramped. Go here!

Kelse H.

Yelp
wow. I am completely blown away by the authenticity of the food. staying in india for a month, I have developed their six senses of taste; what that being said, desi spice is literally the closest I have had to the food in rishikesh. everything was clean. as soon as you walk in they great you. hospitality is great. meal came out hot af. the experience brought me back to india. i lovedddddd india.

Yelp
Desi Spice offers a very delicious North Indian food. I visited this place on my trip to ATL from Milwaukee and I was hankering for good Indian food near Piedmont Park. We got a smorgasbord of different vegetarian dishes- Aaloo Gobi, Paneer Korma, Channa Masala , Daal Tadka, Raita and Garlic Naan. Definitely recommend getting their mango Lassi too. The staff is very friendly and gives very good recommendations. Definitely consider stopping by here the next time you are in the Piedmont Park area.

Yelp
Best Indian restaurant period I love the saag paneer and butter chicken . Last time I tried the wings they were amazing

Yelp
A new favorite spot for delicious Indian cuisine. The service was wonderful, friendly and inviting, and the food was some of the best I've had. The chicken korma and garlic naan bread was so very good, I'll be back!

Yelp
We'd been looking for a great Indian restaurant with a good direction of options. Desi's is very small with close seating but the food was absolutely delicious!! And service was awesome! So we will be going back.

Adhithi C.

Yelp
the service was really great, and the food was presented extremely well. however the chicken could've have been spicer.

Anon Y.

Yelp
This place is just perfect. Perfect perfect perfect! How clean they are... How they offer separate bowls... How kind they are... Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are open beautifully arranged. The butter sauce flavor is simply unique. I could even decide which spice level was at my comfort. Not to mention, the view from the outside seating area is incredible as well. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Ari Z.

Yelp
We really loved our food and the staff were super friendly! We enjoy Indian food and we will be back to Desi Spice! We had Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Chicken 65, Chicken Korma, beef and Chicken Samosas, Saag Aloo Paneer, and Naan. Everything tasted great (we could actually have gone hotter on the spice levels!). Awesome to have another great Indian Food option!

Tanya P.

Yelp
was outstanding w/veggie samosas. Our waiter Shakib was so nice! I ordered the wrong dish initially and he told me not to worry and brought me another dish. He was very attentive and smiled the whole time. I highly recommend Desi Spice for an authentic Indian experience. Outdoor patio overlooks city skyline at night-great date night spot.

Kody R.

Yelp
Came to Atlanta to visit and this was the place we picked for Indian food. The service was fast and friendly and the food was perfect. Sat down outside on the patio and had our food quickly. We ordered Chicken Samosas, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Goat Saag Paneer. Everything was GREAT. Our server was Shakib and he was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani. All of it was DELICIOUS! this will be our new go-to Indian spot for sure

Yelp
Still amazing - but no longer open for lunches which is a travesty in my opinion. Desi Spice is one of my all time favorite restaurants, not just favorite Indian, but favorite restaurant period.

James G.

Yelp
Food amazing Food selection amazing Waiter.. A1 Ambiance was cool. Will def recommend and will be visiting again in the future.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
I normally love the food here and have had excellent experiences, but for whatever reason my friends and I were denied service the last time we went. Waving down a waiter felt like hailing a cab in NYC. We waited about 15 minutes after receiving our menus and watching the waiters serve other people. We tried calling the waiters to take our order but we were ignored...
google avatar

Sheller K.

Yelp
I am staying in the area for work and had food delivered by DoorDash. I ordered chicken tikka masala hot spice level and Saag Paneer medium spice level along with plain naan. The chicken tikka masala was good. A little too sweet to go less than a hot spice level for me. The Saag Paneer was the best I've ever had. So tasty! The naan was also delicious. No plastic utensils were included with the order. Businesses may not want to include them in every order free of charge, but it would be nice to have an option to order it through the app. I would definitely order from here again.

Yelp
This place is in the same plaza as the Landmark Midtown Arts movie theater. Hence it was a logical choice for dinner after a movie (though there are a ton of other restaurants in this area). A friend and I had dinner here around 7:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. You access it via one of the stairways on either f the circular plaza out front (use the left stairway as you face it). You then cross to the left in front of another restaurant / pool hall and you're there. They offer interior dining and patio tables. It was pleasant (for July) so we opted to sit outside. You have a good view of Ponce City Market from there also. Their menu was fairly extensive. The didn't have what (to me) are quite all of the 'standard' Indian restaurant offerings, but they had plenty plus more obscure combinations too. If you have even a passing familiarity with Indian restaurants, you should be able to fine something here to your liking. I opted for Navratan Korma, which I enjoyed. We both asked for our dishes 'hot' but I didn't think the spice-level was too adventurous (I've had places make it hotter). The garlic naan was also very good. I'm not down in this plaza a great deal (especially over the last 15 months), but I'd definitely consider returning here before / after a movie in the future.

Darby M.

Yelp
Desi Spice is one of the best spots in the city. My partner and I love to sit outside and have a view of the skyline while we eat. We ate our Thanksgiving meal here today and our server, Shakib, was very attentive and nice. Can't recommend them enough!
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
This place is so close to my house that my phone just suggests it at this point. I always order online - I have never eaten inside the restaurant. In the past, I have ordered chicken tikka masala, saag paneer butter chicken and tandoori chicken. I have also of courseeeeeee gotten either darlic or cheese naan plus sometimes a mango lassi. The service is very kind. The ordering process (through their own website) is super easy and they usually prepare the orders pretty quickly!

Katie P.

Yelp
Butter chicken phenomenal, garlic naan was a little over cooked but the flavors were still there so I didn't even mind

Maddy M.

Yelp
The food and selection are fantastic, our waiter Shakib gave phenomenal service!! Very cute interior and cool music. Neighborhood favorite.

Yelp
Amazing! My favorite Indian restaurant in Atlanta. The vindaloo and tikka masala are so good. Also their cheese and garlic naan are a must!

Yelp
We came here around 8:30pm on a Thursday evening and not was pretty empty. The interior decor is super cute, I really loved the chairs. There's both indoor and outdoor seating and you must go up the set of stairs and go all the way to the end to reach the restaurant. I will say that I was a bit nervous because some of the recent reviews had 3 stars or less, but I'm extremely confused as to why! This food is really good! I've been looking for Navratan Korma done right (a vegetable dish in a light yellow creamy sauce) and this place did it so well! The garlic naan is probably the best I've had in Atlanta so far, and my friend's tikka masala was cooked to his liking, his favorite place to eat it! And the basmati rice wasn't overly dry or soggy, really good! We started with the vegetable samosas, which came with a sweet chutney that paired extremely well with the samosas. Yum!! I can't wait to go back Nahind was super attentive and made sure we were all set throughout the whole meal. Amazing service! The portions are pretty decent, we both were able to take some home and finish it off later. In total the bill was about $32 with the 15% off after check-in on Yelp! I will definitely be back! Parking can be a little difficult here as the plaza has a lot going on, perfect date night area by the way!

Yelp
Desi Spice has been on my list of Indian takeout spots to try for a while, and it certainly didn't disappoint when we checked it out on a recent Saturday evening. We placed an order for pickup, and although the process of actually getting the order was a bit of an ordeal with an especially long wait, I have to say the food was worth it. She went with the classic paneer tikka masala, which was rich and well-spiced, whereas I had the matar paneer, a decadent creamy curry with paneer and peas. We completed that with a couple orders of delicious plain and spicy bullet green chili naan, flavorful raita, and perfectly sweet and soft gulab jamun. Desi Spice is a great option for classic, no-frills Indian takeout, and I look forward to ordering again.

Yelp
Update: I've been a few more times (of course) and they got my spice level right each time (because I was adamant) - so I had to bump my friends back to 5 stars. I'm also now hooked on the Parata which tastes like MUCH more carbs than naan, so thanks a lot! :'(

Yelp
I've been here too many times to count. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE every time, even when you order to go! The patio is really nice to sit on when it's warm outside and dining inside is always nice! Our go to's are Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, & Lamb Curry with Garlic Naan! Won't be disappointed, they're always consistent!

Yelp
The mango lassi was amazing! But I got butter chicken and it didn't taste right and unfortunately I kept eating it because I was just SO hungry. But to be honest, I think it was spoiled or they gave be really bad meat because I've had ALOT of butter chicken and this was just not right. Also, I know this is TMI but this shit went through me right after.
