Devil's Food Bakery

I visit here whenever I’m in Denver. Pastries, sweet and savory, and good coffee. Quick. Limited seating. No outdoor seating. ~$10/pp. community shop… other restaurants & shops in the vicinity.

Love this place. Cool people and excellent pastries. I’m a fiend for blueberry muffins and think there’s is prob one of the better ones in the city

This bakery is the best! I flew in from out of state for my brother's birthday and decided to take a chance on this bakery. Let me just say that they made the BEST red velvet birthday cake I've ever had! And the service was outstanding! I had asked for chocolate sprinkles which I was told weren't available. But when I picked up the cake, they had gone out of their way to make sure this cake had chocolate sprinkles! Super nice people working there, I highly recommend giving them a visit.

Not just a Bakery! Had the most delicious breakfast with wonderful service! Beautiful, quaint outside patio area is available for seating. That’s where I will sit next time! Be sure to enjoy breakfast out at this wonderful eatery!

This place had a line out the door when I went on mid-day on a Saturday. The name of the bakery suggests that the offerings are decadent in regards to sugar. I patiently waited in line about 15 minutes and ordered a frosted sugar cookie and a buckeye with a chai latte and sat at the counter to enjoy them. My only complaint was a bit too much salt in the buckeye compared to what I am used to. (Probably salted peanut butter, which some might like, but I prefer not to taste salt). But I enjoyed it all so much that it still deserves five stars. Perfect place to treat yourself to a sweet or pick something out for someone as a gift. Cash register pay station is fun!

This is an absolutely delicious bakery, and all of the products are fresh and flavorful! I've been purchasing from this bakery for about 5 years now, and have noticed that the customer service has gotten more volatile over time in regards to the front-of-house employees. While Devil's Food Bakery is typically very busy, politeness and customer service skills have been in short supply with FOH. Unfortunately, after a few lackluster interactions over the past year, I have made the decision to no longer purchase from this bakery. Although the quality of the products here are great, it truly don't make up for the combative attitude and language of employees. As a customer, I find it uncomfortable to purchase goods from employees who act as though the sheer volume of customers is an inconvenience.

Great selection of coffees and teas and fresh pastries. Very vintage feel, I could hang out all morning at the place, munch on pastries and just people watch!
