Di Dragon - Review - All - The Infatuation
"If I was to bring somebody on a tour of Jamaica, I'll take them to Di Dragon. It's a Chinese spot. As sh*tty as the environment is—it's right by a swamp actually, with alligators that I'm sure are in there, and construction on the other side—you go there and order that food. It's gonna take us almost two hours to receive our food. Don't you ever go to that spot hungry—you will be riled up. You will be disappointed. You will be upset. You will be cursing the servers. You will be cursing the owner. You'll be cursing anybody who you go there with. You're gonna find yourself in some argument just because everybody is hungry, right? But when that food comes, it's immaculate. As sh*tty as the service is, every single time you go there, and as sh*tty as the environment is, you're gonna find yourself back there.
I always get the fried rice. They have the mallah chicken, I always get that as well. They have a sweet and sour pork that they fry first and then they boil down some sweet and sour sauce, Jamaican style—so good. Their ginger escallion shrimp, and ginger escallion lobster. They have a lion fish that they fry first that they do with sweet and sour sauce. Nobody cares about the service or the environment; matter of fact, they welcome the environment with open arms. It's no judgments after eating that food, I promise you. It all just washes away.”
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
