"After several delays, long-running and popular LES shop the Pickle Guys is finally opening its first snack shop, Diller. The restaurant, which was first announced years ago, will open on Thursday at 357 Grand St., at Essex Street. Since then, however, the menu has changed a bit. Instead of kosher burgers and chicken sliders as initially planned, Diller will serve a Beyond burger and a slew of fried foods in addition to its star item, fried pickles. Other fried items include baby corn, okra, and mushrooms. The menu also features items that reflect the Jewish and Asian communities of the neighborhood, resulting in fusion items like pickled okra rice balls and a “reuben egg roll” made with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and pastrami-spiced lentils. The pickled goods are sourced from the Pickle Guys shop next door, though a representative for the snack bar notes that Diller is a standalone project. Diller opens on Thursday at 12:30 p.m., and its hours after that will be 10 a.m. to midnight. The team has also applied for a beer and wine license." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Fried pickles are amazing, watermelon lemonade is 10/10, & the tacos are definitely one of the best in town! The impossible burger was a 9/10 for me, I felt I needed more spice in it so I'll try a different sauce for it next time. But definitely the best veggie burger 🍔 .. Update: second time coming here, and they do not disappoint! Burger is still amazing, we tried the French fries this time and they were AMAZING! 10/10 🍟

Hands down The Best place to get tacos in NYC. The tacos are made with impossible meat and corn tortillas which are gluten free. Lots of gluten free opinions there too by the way and everything has so much flavor! You can taste how much passion goes into the food. The Turmeric Honey Mustard sauce is just out of this word! Highly recommend the watermelon lemonade! Trust me! Even tho everything has it's own thing going on you can equal enjoy all of the flavor individually. Plus everything there are super friendly and inviting. So worth the experience!

I’ve been looking forward to going to Diller for years now after following the restaurant on instagram - it lived up to the hype! The impossible burger was fantastic & the fried pickles just as amazing as they look! I highly recommend making it a destination point when visiting the city! I look forward to returning!

Horrible vegan place! Fries were uncooked and hard, the burger was luke warm and dry. The pastrami roll was tasteless and lumpy. Unfortunately I gave in to some instagram reviewer who raved about this place 😕 wrong move. I will not be back to this establishment, it needs a complete chef upgrade!

Pickle lovers, this is the place for you! Came here for an event before they opened officially. It's been on my to do list to return. Writing this review so I can write an updated one when I finally go back. Everything we tried was really good the first time around. The watermelon lemonade was really refreshing. They also have a pickled pineapple lemonade which is both sweet, but has that briney pickle taste and somehow it all works. We sampled things off the menu. There were two options. You either get the beyond burger, their brined fries and fried pickles or the reuben egg roll, pickled okra rice balls and jalapeno poppers. I went with the first option. The beyond burger was really good. It was the first one I've ever tried and I was pretty impressed. Their brined fries are really good and their fried pickles are the best I have. They have a bunch of delicious sauce options too. Everyone who got the other options loved what they had as well. I really need to go back and try some of their new menu options like their tacos and loaded tater tots. Everyone their is also super nice. Check it out!

LOVE the food and energy in this terrific Lower East Side kosher restaurant! Brined fries are a revelation - crispy outside, soft inside, incredibly flavorful. Picked pineapple lemonade is so good they should bottle it.

Small menus generally mean higher quality and Diller is no exception. The fried pickles were perfect, the fries were some of the best I've had, and the the pickled pineapple lemonade was just incredible. We tried 5 or 6 of the sauces and they were all amazing, I'd recommend the honey mustard or the xxx death sauce. Also, the atmosphere is really nice and the guys working there were very friendly. We had such a great time and can't wait to go back!

Classic burger was so great. The bun was very tender and the meat was tasty. The sauce was also great. Though I wish there were more pickles. But overall it was great.
