"String lights, plus wafts of breeze, plus wine, equals romance. It’s a mere fact. Dilworth Tasting Room in South End captures that exact formula on the secluded outdoor patio, with ambient sounds of the pond and occasional live jazz. Whether dining on the patio or in the bistro-vibe inside, this charming neighborhood institution, known for its classic wine list, spruces up the menu with crispy skin salmon and brie-stuffed dates with a prosciutto ribbon. Please note that the glorious portion of ripe cheese, pickles, sweet honey, and nutty bites on the mix-and-match charcuterie board is one created only in the realm of wildest dreams." - Kayleigh Ruller

"Whether you’re meeting a blind date, your entire bird-watching club, or a coworker who’s always begging for an after-work Happy Hour, Dilworth Tasting Room is the place to go. The best spot to sit at this wine bar is by the koi pond on the walled patio that makes us feel like we’re in The Secret Garden, minus the pale Victorian child. Let the staff help you through the extensive wine list, which has the best selection of Croatian bottles in the city, while you share a build-your-own cheese or charcuterie board. If you’re having a surprisingly good time with your coworker, stick around and order a couple bigger plates, like a delicious beet salad or a flatbread with prosciutto, brie, and apricot jam." - tess allen

"Whether you’re meeting a blind date, your entire bird-watching club, or a coworker who’s always begging for an after-work Happy Hour, Dilworth Tasting Room is the place to go. The wine bar is located in a former industrial building from 1947, with red sofas and wooden bistro tables that look straight out of a brasserie. The best place to sit is by the koi pond on the walled patio that always makes us feel like we’re in The Secret Garden , minus the pale Victorian child.  Let the staff help you through the extensive wine list, which has the best selection of Croatian bottles in the city, while you share a build-your-own cheese or charcuterie board. "Housed in a former 1940s dry goods storage building–turned–billiards hall, Dilworth Tasting Room is one of the city's most picturesque atmospheres to sip a glass of wine. Inside the vibe is cosmopolitan and chic, but the ethereal back patio is a different world entirely with low-hanging trees and stone-lined paths. The wines are all selected by owner and sommelier Jaffer Kovic who has put together an impressive list by the bottle and the glass, including a number of Croatian selections that pay homage to his heritage." - Lauren Levine

Great spot to go for light snacks and drinks or a dinner date. We got the eggplant spread which had some unique Smokey flavor to it! Accompanied with two meat squired and some roasted carrots!

We went for their blind tasting Tuesday, but we’re not given any direction and had to wait a long time for the worksheets. The service was very slow especially for a night that wasn’t super busy. The small charcuterie was super underwhelming. The rest of the food we ordered was tasty.

Had an early dinner with my sister on a Monday. Great service and great food. We each had a cocktail (they have an extensive menu) and shared the whipped ricotta, pesto & gnocchi, and the flatbread with chorizo. The flatbread was great, fluffy with flavorful toppings, but it was the gnocchi and ricotta dishes that blew me away. Never had such pillowy gnocchi, literally had to stop the convo to appreciate the first bite. The ricotta was also a great choice, we opted for it as the rest of our dishes were going to be more on the savory side. Really fantastic all around.

I saw this place was open for brunch and stumbled in and I’m so happy I did. The bartender Jewels was amazing, made me feel so welcomed like she was my best friend the whole time. The food was good and the espresso martinis are amazing. The place is also beautiful. Highly recommend, but only if you’re asking for Jewels, she made the experience.

Visited Dilworth Tasting Room recently, and it was an excellent experience! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, making it a great cocktail bar to stop by for a drink and some light bites. We ordered a few small plates and appetizers, including a charcuterie board that was well-curated and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and I loved the thoughtful design touches throughout the space. The only downside was the lighting—it was a bit too dim, which made it hard to fully appreciate the ambiance. Despite that, it was enjoyable overall, fairly priced, and definitely worth a visit!

We had an amazing dining experience at this clever restaurant with excellent food and service. The staff worked together seamlessly, keeping drinks refilled and plates removed while we enjoyed the delicious spread. The BEST mock-tails EVER. The outside patio, surrounded by a stunning Koi fish pond, provided a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I can’t begin to express how great our experience was at the original Dilworth Tasting Room location. We decided to host our post wedding ceremony dinner here and we’re blown away the attentive service, strong drinks, and delicious food. The GM Frank was beyond accommodating and helpful through out the whole planning process and made our dinner feel so special. Our guests all left feeling full and happy! We had the semi private area which was perfect for us! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

not trying to be a hater, just sharing my honest opinion. i think this place is over hyped. the food was very mid at best. i would say the best experience is to come just for a glass of wine, which isn’t something that appeals to me personally.
