Dim Sum Café

We come here every so often and decided to order a variety of dishes this time: fried rice, orange chicken, char siu bun, pork & shrimp siu mai, meat pie, seafood vegetable, mustard greens, Chinese broccoli, and honey walnut shrimp. Overall, it was okay. The food was decent but not especially memorable. The fried rice and orange chicken were solid and flavorful. The char siu buns and siu mai were fairly standard — good texture but nothing standout. The honey walnut shrimp was enjoyable, though a bit on the sweet side. The vegetables (mustard greens and Chinese broccoli) were fresh but lightly seasoned. It’s a convenient spot when we’re craving dim sum and Chinese comfort food, but it hasn’t really wowed us. We’ll probably continue stopping by occasionally, but more for consistency than excitement. 🍚🍗🥗🥟🍤🥦🫛🥡

The Chinese food is very authentic, the prices are reasonable, and the environment is clean.

The best Dim Sum in Summerlin! Very friendly, relaxing and enjoyable experience. The chow mien is tasty and crispy. Veggies are fresh. The sesame balls are delicious, better than we had in Los Angeles. Will come back soon. Happy Chinese New Year!

The roasted duck I ordered was deep fried. You cannot deep fry, in oil, duck. It loses its taste and becomes chewy. Come on guys, you know better. How you prepare my food is how you prepare for your future. Do better on the duck. Everything else great, but bad duck isnt discounted.

9-19-2021 Friendly, fast and attentive service for pickup even though it was busy in the restaurant, especially since it was Sunday lunchtime. -Hot & Sour Soup: basic, but very hearty. They don’t skimp on the ingredients. Lots of BBQ pork, eggs, tofu, bamboo shoots and green onions. However I’ve had better. There wasn’t much depth in flavor. But at $2.95 a cup, I’m not complaining. -Pan Fried Chive Dumpling: good. Probably better fresh at the restaurant. Kind of felt like it was missing a dipping sauce, but it didn’t come with one. -Shrimp In Rice Noodle Roll: standard -Sticky Rice In Lotus Leaf: delicious. Ample meat and Chinese sausage mixed in. -Chicken With Black Bean Sauce: great flavor, massive portion size. Stir fried with onions and bell peppers in black bean sauce. Also comes with rice. Such a great deal for $10.95. Probably feeds four people.

I absolutely love dim sum. This place isn't anything special. If you're in the mood for dim sum, it's a good place for it. Nothing fancy, very cafeteria-style seating, orders get lost or forgotten and items you're instructed to order vs wait for with the carts are not always properly coordinated. They do make up for it with the food quality and taste.

Food was really delicious. Service was fast and good. Lots to choose from their menu. Only thing our hot tea was lukewarm. We would definitely be back. Thank you! Crispy Pork Bun is delicious, I would recommend you try it!

We order from here all the time. In the beginning, around 2022, dim sum was ok but the specialty dishes were excellent. We mainly ordered salted fish chicken fried rice and the crispy noodles. Now in 2024, dim sum has improved but the specialty dishes are not as good. 04/06/24 Dim Sum for dinner!! Been here many times. We ordered: Deep fried meatball which ground meat was the filling of a deep fried mochi ball. It came with 3 pieces. Love that it wasn't oily and love the chewiness of the mochi. Pork shumai ( 4 pcs) is always a must order in dim sum. Shrimp hargow (4 pcs) was pretty good. Eat them while it's hot before they get cold and chewy due to their wrap. Pan fried chives (3 pcs) love how thick they were and tasty. Beef tendon x 2 orders is a must for my husband and I. Not everyone loves tendon but we do! This place has one of the best tendons served. Chow mein: wow, the serving this time around came in a small plate, all the times I've been here and ordered chow mein it was plentiful. And for a small size this was served last. That was a huge disappointment for us. All in all, this place is okay. Everytime we come back there is always an item or two that would be different in servings or lack in flavor. So this place is a hit or miss. Although, staff were nice. Place got a little busy and noise was average. Happy eats!

Came here for dimsum with a group of friends and it did not disappoint! The portions are pretty large compared to the typical dimsum spots back at home - like the BBQ pork buns and pineapple buns. The pineapple buns are filled with a more creamy filling rather than a custard texture, but it was still just as great. The Shumai, har gow, and shrimp rice noodle rolls were all really good. The food came out pretty quick and the service was great!

Upon walking in there is plenty of seating here and we were seated immediately. The server was also very fast to take our beverage order. With the intention of trying their dim sum, we didn't order anything off of the main entree menu. Dim sum plates range from $3.99 up to $8.99 with a few price levels in between. While I have read some mixed reviews of the food from fellow Yelpers, I opted for what I consider "safe choices" such as baked pastry goods and chow mein. After putting in our order, the food came out very fast. The BBQ Pork Bun I would have liked a bit more warmed, but overall not bad. There is sufficient filling to the bun ratio so it's a solid effort - not the best but good. The Egg Tarts also could have been warmer but I appreciated the nice flaky crust and the filling was good as well. To me - crust/shell is what makes or breaks a good egg tart. Overall - I enjoyed it. The coconut bun, same thing, could have been warmer, but the taste was very good. The filling was a nice buttery coconut flavor and while the menu showed only one bun on the plate, it came with two so I was pleasantly surprised. Lastly, the chow mein is what was not so good. For being an $8.99 item, I thought the effort and ingredients were insufficient. The portion size was also very small. Given the portions of the other pastry plates I was surprised that the chow mein plate was barely a side plate portion. My picture is exactly the portion that arrived. There wasn't much flavor to the chow mein and only had a few pieces of cabbage in it. This was the one dish I didn't enjoy at all. Overall - this place gets my middle of the road rating. Decent effort on the food and what helped was the service was fast and attentive. I did appreciate that part.

This restaurant offers a good variety of dim sum options in a casual environment. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food arrived quick. The food was tasty, although some of the dumplings were a little chewier than other dim sum I have had. I would recommend you check this place out if you are in Summerlin and want to try a variety of food which is the best part of Dim Sum.

This place has gotten way more popular and well known since I last wrote a review. I went on New Year's Day so there was a wait. I still like that their dishes are made to order so it tastes fresh. A couple more items I wanna add is their garlic choy sum. Was really flavorful and delicious. I'm sad that they stopped selling their almond cookies from the jar at the front desk. It was seriously my fave one I've ever had and I've gone back just to get those cookies. I think for a local spot, they are still one of my fave dim sum places in town.

A pretty legit dim sum cafe in Summerlin! as we walked in we were greeted by 3-4 servers and were seated immediately. The auntie who served our table asked what we wanted to drink as a lady with steamed dim sum cart came by. Of course I was going for my usuals: har gaw, shu mai (but to my surprise they also had shrimp shu mai so ofc I had to get an order of that), steamed bbq pork buns, and sticky rice! The rest of the items we ordered from the menu. Some of my favorites included chives chicken and shrimp potstickers and pineapple buns with custard! Everything here was good and service was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh! Our auntie server frequently came by to check on us. It felt like we were dining at a relatives place. I'd definitely come back here for some dim sum! The restaurant is quite large and spacious. Restroom was clean and has soap, paper towels, and TP! Parking wasn't an issue. You can't miss this cafe as the restaurant and the name is printed largely in blue! In case you miss it, it's in the same plaza as Roma Coffee.

Do you ever get a serious craving for dim sum? I always do lol. I decided to go to the Dim Sum Cafe because it was the closest to where we were and I've been wanting to try it for a while. We ordered beef chow fun (dry), steamed rice cake, chicken feet, pork shumai, pot stickers, shrimp rice noodle, sweet custard buns, and egg tarts. The beef chow fun was tasty. I really enjoyed the chicken feet, sweet custard buns, and the egg tarts. I ordered too soon and I should've waited for the two dessert items. Everything else was pretty average. The food was 4 stars and it satisfied the cravings. The service on the other hand was not very good so I am deducting a star. The server rarely checked up and didn't refill our drinks. It was really hard to get her attention. We had to try to get the busser to help. The restaurant had a normal Chinese restaurant ambiance to it. They don't have the carts like other dim sum places which is okay. I like this better since everything is fresh. Sometimes the carts have food sitting there for a while and quality is questionable. I will definitely be back and hopefully service is better.

Tried Dim Sum Cafe immediately after a long weekend away. I was starving and needed something easy and quick. I decided on here for a variety of reasons - distance, options, and affordability. I picked up my food and rushed back home. I ordered the shumai and general tso. The shumai were big pieces, ya can't go wrong with these. As for the chicken, the flavor was good, but the texture was soggy. A lot of the pieces also didn't have chicken in it. Some of them were just deep fried breading doused in sauce. It was satisfying as I was starving, but it would not be my first pick if I needed to grab a meal. I'm open to trying the place out again.

Came here with my wife around 4:00 pm on a Friday, it was pretty quiet inside, maybe only 1 or 2 other tables besides us. We ordered a chicken shumai, beef tripe, daikon cake, bean curd skin roll, shrimp rice noodle rolll, chinese broccoli, salt & pepper calamari and 1/4 roast duck. All I can say is wow! Every single dish was great, hot and fresh. The portion on the 1/4 duck was huge and i swear i got more duck meat than the last time i ordered an entire duck at Rainbow Kitchen, not exaggerating lol. Our server Jerry was on point and very attentive, he was always there when I needed to put in an order. Shocked and a little upset this place only has 3.5 stars, they deserve way more love! The fact it's close to home and not down in Chinatown is the icing on the cake.

New goal in life: Try every Dim Sum spot that Las Vegas has to offer. Do you think I can do It? Not without my eating partner! Which is my husband by the way, we love to bond over food and rate every dish and every restaurant we ever go to lol. We had about 2 hours to kill, what better way to kill time than to go eat. Craving of the day, DIM SUM! But I mean who isn't craving dim sum? With our luck, Dim Sum Cafe had just opened up. We arrived around 11:30, few tables filled with chatter all around. The cafe was nice and clean, open space. They still have their Christmas tree up which I pointed out to my husband lol. Nonetheless we were seated, and ordered right away. All of our dim sum came out PIPPING HOT, with the exception of the steamed rice rolls but we'll get into that later. We never had to wait for anything, they all just came out 2 by 2 on a steady pace. We ordered 7 dishes as following: Pork Sui Mai: can't go to dim sum and not order this. It's a staple. Great size, freshly steamed, wrapper was a little on the chewier sticky side, but had good filling. Shrimp Sui Mai: I love a menu that has full shrimp Sui mai. This one was a little disappointing though. Seemed like there was a lot of filler vs just all shrimp. A little too spongey and soft, no bouncy shrimp texture and shrimp flavor itself was pretty mild. Maybe it's just the way they prepared the shrimp but I'll probably skip out on this next time. Fried shrimp balls: Again, with the expectation of biting into a nice shrimp ball, where you can see the chunks of shrimp. This one failed me a bit, I'll give It to them though that they were nice and crispy fresh but I didn't get that good shrimp bite. Somehow It also just didn't taste like shrimp lol, but the texture on this was much better than the shrimp Sui Mai Chicken feet & Pork spare ribs: these were both great. Can't go wrong & yes you do need to order chicken feet for the full experience. Shrimp rice rolls: rice rolls were on the thicker side. I prefer the more soft and silky sheets. Shrimp were okay, sauce was light. Steamed beef tripe: best one I've had, lots of fresh ginger. Cooked perfectly, great texture. All in all, Dim Sum Cafe ranks pretty average on the dim sum scale to me. I don't think I would come out of my way to eat here. I did enjoy that the dining area was nice and open. I like that we're not in the busy bustling area of Chinatown. It makes for a more calm experience. Parking was easy, also their chili oil is really good too. If you're in the area and craving dim sum, try It out!

I come here every time I come to Vegas. It reminds me of the Chinatowns in NY and SF. Their dim sum is great, esp the lotus rolls and the pea shoots. For me it's the food. The atmosphere is ok, the service is fine. They don't do the rolling carts, but the food is terrific. I highly recommend this place to all my friends coming to LV.

Placed an online order and was given a pickup time. Showed up at the pickup time and it wasnt ready...waited an additional 25 min before they called my name. I had to stand at the counter a while before i was acknowledged despite multiple workers passing by.... They all seemed disinterested in customers willing to pay money for food. Im attributing the wait time ad the reason why when I got home (I live 7min away), some of my order was hot and some were cold. Overall, I wouldnt return or recommend the food here. Har gow was thick and chewy, vegetable dumplings were not great. Soup dumplings were good, but reminded me of the ones I get at Costco in a 6pk package. Baked bbq buns were good as was the potstickers, but you can get that anywhere and theyre not hard to mess up. Very average food and coupled with the lacking customer service, no thank you.

I still love this place 3 years later. We take lots of out of town folks here so that they can experience dim sum. The red bean sesame balls are by far my favorite, followed by the sweet rice cakes, the string beans, and the bbq pork buns. Obviously the price has gone up over the years but it's still not bad. Maybe 15-20 a person if you stick to dim sum. They come with 3 portions each.

Yummy yummy decently priced dim sum. You can have everything you want here. Shrimp shumai, shrimp with rice noodle, red bean sesame balls, shrimp har gow. Can you tell I love shrimp? We got 12 things probably for $60. Picked up food here and they had a Christmas tree in the waiting area. Cool.

Ordered the pork dumplings for $6.99 and when it was delivered, it was the tiniest I've ever seen! Looks like a snack for a two year old! The dumplings were under cooked and the pork inside still pink!! The size is about half of what Cathay's House serves! I called and it sounded like they don't care. The calamari is soggy and the egg tart was mediocre. if you want Dim Sum, this is NOT the place! FYI I grew up in a Chinese household and I expected better!

First time here and we came for a late lunch. Lots of parking. There was a good crowd, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Food was tasty. There were a lot of Chinese so know it must be good... No cart service, you just order from server. Had the chicken feet, tendons, tripe, spare ribs, also the Singapore noodles. Too busy eating to take a picture. I'd say we found a good place to go instead of going to chinatown...

My friend and I were in the area and got hungry around 3:30pm. Found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out! It wasn't busy when we walked in. We got seated immediately and I love that their menu had pictures since I forgot my reading glasses and struggled a bit. But we place our order and the food came out about 10-15 minutes later. We ordered the hot & sour soup, which was very tasty and delicious!! Got our house special fried rice, calamari and sweet & sour pork. The food was great! It was savory and delicious! We were happy to eat here today and we will definitely be back to try the dim sum options!!

Defiantly order the duck ! The service and atmosphere were both fine and the service was very fast .

Food was good overall, some things great and some things not. But, it's essentially the only option for dim sum in Summerlin area so you really can't complain too much given that it's so convenient. They are fast with take out too so with trying if you want a dim sum hit quick.

I would never come back. Went in and ordered take out and I just got my order of shrimp balls, chive dumplings and har gow. 22$+ for them and they are tiny dim sum but i had to wait 20 mins!! When i asked about it, the lady who checked me out was v empathetic and when she asked the MAN SCREAMED AT HER. Then she rushingly went to wait tables and when I asked him directly he ignored me until i said I just wanted a refund, even the guy in the kitchen looked at me when i kept saying "sure excuse me!" and finally he goes idk what order is yours and kept working, didn't ask or anything then i kept saying it's fine I'll take a refund he goes the girl will be back just wait. MIND YOU 5 couples walked in and all got served before me. Then when the girl came back HE SCREAMED AT HER AGAIN telling her to give me the same bag he JUST PUT ON THE COUNTER AFTER HE TOLD HER TO LEAVE THE FIRST TIME. Then when she gave it to me she was apologizing so bad. Ew!!!! He was so nasty and rude i felt so bad for her and i hope she knows she didn't deserve that and I don't blame her. He was expediting & should've made sure orders were going out promptly. 20+ mins for 3 orders of dim sum is insane. Even in busy restaurants, this place wasn't that busy for a dim sum place tbh.

I'd give a 4 for service and food but a 3 for experience. I arrived and it was nice to have a parking lot to park in and not worry about looking for a spot. I was able to get seated in a small booth. The place was clean and plenty of workers cleaning up and quick to take my drink order. I ordered 2 dumplings (Har gow and the Pork Soup Dumplings) as well as a plate of Chow Mein. The servers were nice and friendly. My dumplings came out pretty quickly. There was soy sauce on the table to a began to enjoy. The time it took between those and my chow mein was close to 15 minutes so that was weird. At about 10 min in, a server did come by to let me know the noodles were on the way. I got them and they were good. I'm was satisfied with my meal but could've been wrapped up and out sooner than later.

We came here for dim sum on a Saturday morning when they opened. Weekends are for dim sum. . The dim sum came out temperature hot, and there was a lot of variety. The dim sum was great in flavor too. . They even offer vegan options too. They have these amazing mushroom dumplings steamed in a crystal wrap. There was even pan fry veggie potstickers. . We loved the steamed meatballs. It was chewy, flavorful and it was great. . Shu Mai was tasty too. The steamed eggroll was a favorite of mines. Everything was good. We would come back and order more stuff next time. . Overall it was a great experience. It was out of the strip for like 8 miles, but it was starting to get packed within one hour or so. This place is definitely in my top 3 for dim sum in Vegas! It's a major perk that it's not in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. I honestly didn't think I'd find dim sum this good in Summerlin. Our server was very friendly and made some superb recommendations for me and my family to try. We came in a little later, about an hour before closing, and you could just tell that everything was made fresh to order. Everything that came out was steaming hot and not dried out like you might find in some other places when it's the end of the night. If you're not into dim sum, they also have your traditional Chinese-American menu as well! I'd love to come back and try out more! I would really love to give this place 5 stars, but something was missing as far as "umph" factor. Everything was good, but nothing was great in terms of flavor. I think some dishes could use a tad more umami, but it's a small critique. Some people may find it more suitable to their own liking! Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place!

I came here to order take out for my parents, who grew up eating authentic dimsum in Hong Kong. To cut to the chase, Dim Sum Cafe received parents' seal of approval. For Las Vegas standards, it's definitely not bad at all. I ordered a lot of dishes for my parents to get their opinion. Overall they said quality was pretty good. Only thing lacking was the plethora of options they are accustomed to. But they said quality was good. My husband and I really enjoyed the chasui puff pastries, lotus and red bean sesame balls, fried taro puff, and pan fried chive dumpling. My husband also loved the pork shumai, while I enjoyed the spinach shrimp dumplings. Another pro about this place is that the dimsum is available all day, unlike typical dimsum. You won't see your classic old Asian grandparent enjoying a solitary morning tea with a newspaper at hand or your pushcarts, but the food is pretty close to what I grew up eating in California. So far this and the dimsum place at the Rio are my favorites in Vegas. This place gets points for convenience and accessibility.

I like good Dim Sum and this place offers delicious food! Even if they don't use the traditional dim sum carts, everything is made fresh to order. You'll find them located on Hualapai and Twain, and there's ample parking. Inside has a wait lobby for takeout orders and there's plenty of seatings. They do offer a great selection of small items and entrées including seafood, meats, stir fried, and noodles. Shrimp Har Gow ($3.75) is a good item, it's soft and succulent, and the Pan Fried Chive Dumplings ($3.75) are delicious! Dumplings have a savory chicken and shrimp filling with finely chopped chives. Chow Mein ($4.95) is also good, the egg noodles are sautéed in bean sprouts and chopped scallions, flavor is light, simple yet tasty! My personal favorite is Honey Walnut Shrimp ($10.75) and it's accompanied with steamed rice. The shrimp has a nice tempura batter that's airy and crispy, and there's a light drizzle of cream sauce with sweetened walnuts. A lovely dessert to enjoy is Baked Sweet Cream Bun ($3.25). The baked bun has a light crisp and soft texture that's airy and filled with creamy custard that's not too sweet. Overall, service can be a little slow sometimes. I noticed takeout orders seemed to take precedence over a dine in customer. Aside from that, staff members are still kind, attentive, and welcoming.

Have been to this place at least three times now every time has been delicious! service has also been very good and friendly. The food always taste fresh and very flavorful. The food when you order from the dim sum menu comes out very quickly. This is our go to when craving dim sun.

My family came here on probably one of the busiest days to go to a Chinese restaurants- Christmas Day. For a party of three. We did have to wait for about 40 minutes, but never did I think that they forgot us. Keeping up with the demand of all of the orders has to be difficult but regardless, when we sat down, we got food from the dim sum cart right away! We got a variety of dim sum including steamed shrimp dumplings. We also got paned fried noodles and steamed Chinese broccoli. On the table it will have chili oil to accompany you as you eat. While food isn't the best you can get in town, it definitely is delicious. As for service during the meal, the servers are paying attention, but they are trying to keep up with the demand. If you need something, make sure you try to wave one of them down! If I'm in this part of town and I am craving Chinese food and I don't wanna go all the way to Chinatown then I will definitely come back here!

I finally found a decent dim sum spot in Vegas. I was accustomed to dim sum cafes on every corner when I lived in SF and needed my dose of some dumplings. The service is straightforward, kind, and ready to get food on your table. The restaurant has a lovely family vibe with many customers all over Vegas. I wish the food were cheaper, like those places that give you the dim sum in pink boxes, but it'll have to do.

Excellent dim sum fare in a cozy locale. Great standard selection of dim sum items as well in addition to noodle, rice and meat dishes. Decent and reasonable prices as well. Recommended!

When we parked in front we thought it was closed but then someone walked in so we went. We were hesitant because the place was empty but we ended up trying some foods. This place is far from me so I probably will not have a second chance for me to try other stuff in the menu

This was a close one.. if it hadn't been for a couple of items I didn't love this would be a 5 all the way. The decor was a bit dated, but kept fairly clean. Service was good, food was quick and check out was easy. Here's a rundown on each of the dim sum items we ordered and what we thought: A1 Deep Fried Meatball. This is actually called Ham Sui Got and a must have for me at any dim sum establishment. This item was spot on and I wish I had ordered more. B1 Pork Shu Mai. Very good, exactly what you would expect. B4 Egg Roll. I know this to be a Spring Roll, but who's counting? It was good, but I wish they offered shrimp and not just veggie ones. The sauce could have been better. B9 Chiu Chow Pork Dumping. This was mostly a ground spicy pork mixture with jicama in a crystal wrapper. I actually did not like this particular item at all, as the filing flavor wasn't balanced right. I do not recommend this one. B12 Steamed Pork Bun. Excellent, exactly what you expect when you order this one. C1 Shrimp Shu Mai . Did not care for, was not shrimpy enough, seemed to be fused with too much fish paste and not much in the way of texture. C2 Har Gow. Perfect. Exactly what I was expecting. Shrimpy, good texture and noodle. C3 Pork Spareribs. Very good, could have done without the jalapeno slices, they didn't add anything better to the dish. C7 Steamed Shrimp Dumpling. Very good, also in a crystal wrapper, tied with the Har Gow for shrimp items. C15 Shrimp Rice Noodle. Also known as Shrimp Cheung Fun. Not a fan of this one. Sauce wasn't right, and noodles seemed a little off in texture. Maybe a little dried out and brittle? D4 Stuffed Bell Pepper. These were ok, but I wouldn't bother with them in the future. The filling had the same problem as the Shrimp Shu Mai listed above. I've definitely had better of this one. D6 Sticky Rice. Very good, but I would have liked this with mushroom like a bit of shiitake in it. Perfect texture and overall flavor profile. I would recommend this place, and would come back when in the area. I'd order my favorites again and maybe try something new in place of the ones I didn't care for.

This place needs some serious upkeep! The food is good... a taste of China town in Summerlin! But the place is not mentained well. All of the live plants are all dried up... they needed watering but no one seems to care. The Christmas tree that greets at the doorway have been since the Christmas... two years ago. The Halloween decor is the same.... years old. Same deal with the Lunar New Year decor! The wait staff is semi-attentive but needs a lot of work on their social skills and proper client interface. They are too loud and always fighting with someone in the kitchen. I hope this reaches the owner of the place and I hope that he/she cares. There's really a lot to this place, it just needs to do some polishing... It could easily be a 5 star chines place in Summerlin!

We decided on Dim Sum Cafe since it looked like a solid place based on Yelp reviews and, based on the taste alone, it did not disappoint. Located in a small strip mall, it was easy to spot and parking was plentiful (at least when we visited). We were ushered to our table quickly. The place was clean and looked like your typical fast casual restaurant. Our server was okay; she was friendly but seemed to have forgotten our request for chopsticks despite several requests. We eventually just took some from an empty table. The restaurant wasn't packed so it was a bit frustrating that some of our orders didn't come out as quickly as the others. It seemed like they had forgotten to make it because when we asked our server about them, she first asked if we wanted to order those dishes. They were out of the baked pork BBQ buns so that was a shame. We ended up trading this for the steamed chicken buns, and this ended up to be a delightful discovery. As for the taste of what we ordered, the hubby and I pretty much had the same comments... - seaweed salad: tasted as expected - steamed beef tripe: yummy; tripe was soft (in a good way) and didn't have that typical tripe / gamey taste - steamed chicken bun: dough was soft and fluffy; chicken was flavorful; probably my favorite along with the tripe - salt and pepper squid: crispy and wasn't too oily or salty; it didn't have the peppery taste though - beef chow fun: surprisingly better than the ones we've has in the past; beef was tender, noodles weren't soggy, nice crunch from veggies I was torn between 3 and 4 with the 3 mainly due to the service. Since Yelp has no halfsies, I just bumped my rating to a 4. Would I return if I'm back in town? Most likely but maybe I will probably consider other dim sum places first.

My second visit to this restaurant and it just satisfies the dim sum crave. They serve all my fave dim sum items here and the servers are so nice and friendly. I love the comfortable booths and they bring around the carts for most of their items like the old school dim sum restaurants!

Came here after reading reviews and glad to say everything is a solid 4 out of 5! Parking is plentiful and easy, service was brisk and food comes fast. I wish they would use real Chinese soup spoons and the XLB didn't come with special dipping sauce which was a disappointment but everything else for dim sum was solid. We will come back to try the other Canto treats like beef ho fun (dry) which looks legit! Pleased!

First time trying this place. The interior was neat and clean, there wasn't a lot of people during the time we came. We were seated and provided with the menu and drinks right away. All the food we ordered were delicious, only feedback is the curry cream cheese wonton could have been filled a bit more. The chili oil that was on the table was sooo good! What I noticed and was impressed by is the staff's attention. During our dine in, the staff came to our table at least 3 times to ask how everything was, if everything is good. Excellent service like that always sticks to me and deserves a great review. Most dim-sum places I've been in, such as Orchid Garden, the staff are usually rude and un attentive with the exception of if you are Chinese. Here, the staff knew how to speak English and really provided good customer service. Kudos! Coming back here for sure!

Went here last night (Wednesday) Ordered online for in person pickup... Brought it home and unfortunately the regular Shu Mai was sour... I tolerated and ate most of it, sharing with my furbabies as well. Priced more than reasonable but you get what you pay for... I ONLY recommend the mushroom Shu Mai and the Shrimp Shu Mai and chicken feet; everything else was subpar or mediocre.... No condiments included yikes... Well priced again but only three items hit the mark so sad. Oh yes; my dim sum creds: -Tin Tin (Cerritos, Ca) - Fifty One (Buena Park, CA) -Happy House (Cerritos, CA) And random rotated restaurants back in the early millennium in SGV... have had the best now having the rest... EVEN the TWO of the best in Auckland, NZ

I had this delivered to work, via Grub Hub.... Best idea I ever had! I've been looking for a good place with steamed buns and this place is it!!! All the places I used to go to for my favorite steamed buns have either closed or stopped making the simple version of steamed buns... I have found my new favorite! Food is fresh, prices are reasonable, and the taste is authentic. I will definitely be making this place a regular stop or mine!

I really enjoyed the food here. It's hard to find good Chinese food in a city inundated with restaurants. The service was excellent. We came for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I recommend this place!

I don't recommend ordering take out. They don't provide napkins or forks with the food you order. You have to constantly ask for them. They don't seem too happy when you ask for it. They give a negative attitude.

We've become regulars of this restaurant because of the variety of the menu, as well as the great service. The dishes have all been good and definitely not overpriced. All-in-all, I would highly recommend!

All the foods we ordered were all excellent (chicken feet, hot and sour soup, shrimp har gow, chicken shu mai, salt and pepper shrimp and calamari to name a few). None were salty nor greasy. Service and ambience were excellent, too. Now this our go-to place for dim sum whenever we visit Vegas.

Don't come here for nice ambiance or good service. That's probably why this place only has 3.5 stars we waited 20 min for server to come. We got a menu from the guy next to us because it took them so long to come. Food is amazing!!

Food and service are impeccable here. The Dim Sum is well priced and delicious. The fried wings are delicious. They have family meals are a great value!

Dim Sum Cafe is located in the west side of the valley on Hualapai / Flamingo. We come here often for good Chinese food and dim sum. Service has always been excellent, and the restaurant is always clean.
