The 15 Best Places to Grab Food Near Rockefeller Center - New York - The Infatuation

"Quality, casual dim sum exists in Midtown. You’ll find it at Dim Sum Palace, a chain with a few other locations around the city. There aren’t any carts here, but the selection is vast, covering everything from plump har gow in thick, sticky wrappers to pork dumplings with tiny cubes of taro. Not in the mood for dim sum? Not a problem. They also serve a huge variety of other Cantonese dishes, like chow fun and walnut shrimp. If you’re with a large group, ask for one of the big round tables upstairs." - bryan kim, will hartman, hannah albertine, kenny yang

Had some craving for dim sum and DimSum Palace just perfectly fit the bill. Parties 5 and up need reservations to guarantee a table. Less can walk in, but I've seen the place with a line outside. So roll of the dice. We were lucky when we decided to go. Got seated right away. The menu for dim sim was huge. You order from a menu sheet that has pictures of what you're ordering. Noice touch. The regular menu was just as big and boy, did we order quite a few items and, as a dim sum officionado, I can say everything was soooo good. Prices were typical for Ney York. Quick, no nonsense service. Will definitely return whenever I go back to NYC. Photos to follow.

Dim Sum Palace – West 46th Street, NYC We stopped by Dim Sum Palace on West 46th Street and were really impressed—especially by the vegetarian dim sum platter, which came with a great variety of dumplings that were light, flavorful, and perfectly steamed. The scallion pancakes were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with that rich, savory scallion flavor. We also had the spring rolls, which were golden, crunchy, and not at all greasy. The restaurant has a nice, clean interior with a relaxed, slightly upscale feel, and it’s open late, which is a huge plus in Midtown. Loved the amount of vegetarian options on the menu—definitely a great spot for plant-based dim sum lovers!

Google
Very nice restaurant located just a short walk from Times Square. Would recommend highly. Food is excellent fresh and hot during evening dinner. Must try the beef steak in black bean sauce, this was mine favourite. Very tasty beef and large portion. Staff are friendly and service is good.

From the moment we walked in, this restaurant impressed on every level. Nice atmosphere, clean, service is great, and food is definitely 5 stars. We haven’t even left the restaurant and we’re already talking about coming back here.

When we're visiting, we always come here for the best Peking Duck! It is absolutely tasty, juicy, and they carve and make the duck buns at your table. Well worth the money! 6/20/2025 The restaurant is being renovated, but you can still enter and be served to the right of the previous entrance.

Rains around New York City in late night but we need to find something to eat like dim sum .. we are around on 9th Ave Manhattan and created with Friend to go eat DimSum Palace.. we arrived around 10 pm and can sit inside not to waiting. This Restaurant closed around 1.30 am. This Restaurant was clean and the staffs nice and friendly . We started ordered all of dim sum and Entrée the food fresh and yummy 😋 That thus the one resraurant I recommended.

Google
We loved everything about our experience. Every single detail is a five star, from food and cocktails to ambiance and service. 10/10 I highly recommend. They even brought out a birthday dessert for my niece! Don’t miss this place! The three of us ate well and have leftovers.

Dim Sum Palace was a fabulous experience! All of the food was delicious and quick. The servers are attentive and helpful. Come with big group and order a ton!

Yelp
Great Chinese cafe! Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and a nice atmosphere. Fast service. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Solid dim sum place!! I would go back for sure Pros: -menu has pictures -attentive wait staff -food comes out fast! Cons: -a bit pricey but it's times square area -small inside / can feel cramped during busy meal times

Yelp
Service: While waiting for a BWay show, I decided to try this spot for dinner. They took my name down for a table for 2 and said 10-15 minutes (did not take down number to notify when table was ready). I took a 7 min walk and when I came back they had t crossed out my name. No biggie, they were still able to seat me We were seated right next to the hustle and n bustle by the kitchen, where food was cranking out every two seconds. It took 10min for someone to bring us water.

Yelp
Dim sum within walking distance from Times Square AND open late? Definitely worth checking out. After flying into NYC and spending the evening walking around TS, we decided to head here. It's not a fancy venue by any stretch, but that's what makes it feel even more authentic. Our server was very friendly, and when she noticed that I'm Chinese and was comfortable ordering in Cantonese, we struck up some good side conversation while waiting for our food. She kept asking me if we had enough to eat yet Everything we ordered was great - ha know, siu mai, lo mai fan, lo bak kuo, spring rolls (regular and roast duck), pei tan chuk (100-yr egg congee), and soup dumplings. The best part is that we actually expected to pay a bit more than what we usually do at the dim sum place we frequent in NC, but without ordering a plate of noodles, this was actually CHEAPER than the last couple of times we've had it. I only wish we had time to go to the main Dim Sum Palace down in the Financial District. Make no mistake, though - this is highly recommended by us. I even struck up a conversation with a random couple who was outside checking out the menu as we were leaving, and they went right in.

Yelp
We always have a great time whenever we come here. The service is excellent, the decor is so nice, and the dishes are so tasty. I will be back this week to enjoy some more delicious eats!

Yelp
All the talk about Chinese food in Gypsy made us crave dim sum. My trusted Yelp guide led us here. Boy did we luck out. Despite the crowd which I can only assume were a bunch of folks who had just come out of whatever musical/play they watched like us, we were seated right away. We started off with the cucumber salad that hit the spot then followed that with the pork dumplings, chow fun and orange chicken. In the end, we got entirely too much food, but the leftovers was the perfect snack the next day. Not only did everything smell so good, but damn it was all so tasty. The crispyness of the chicken was heaven. The dipping sauces for the dumplings was fire. The service was so on point. There were so many people working so all the orders came out so quick. I would for sure come back here the next time I'm in town. That green tea was so refreshing. We killed the whole kettle they gave us.

Yelp
Good meal! I wish I'd gotten 5 chicken soup dumplings. By far the best thing. So tasty and warm. The bbq pork buns were good too, just don't eat the paper at the bottom. Their shrimp and chives dumplings they rave about, they're ok. The scallion pancake seems popular on Yelp, a fun try. The cucumber with Szechuan seemed to be popular on here but I don't think it's anything special and wouldn't recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so amazing, quick, affordable. We got about 7 orders of dumplings and polished them off between three people: the taro pork dumplings and soup dumplings were probably the standouts. Also delicious were the shumai dumplings, Buddha's delight, and the fried rice. Super quick service, waiters were friendly and fast. Can't wait to come back and stuff my face soon.

Yelp
This place saves the night by opening so late! Dim sum at night is such a vibe. I will say though, because it's in the Theatre District, prices are notably higher than any other dim sum restaurant I've been to, but that's entirely expected. The Crispy Fish Fillet is my favorite order in the spread--flavorful, crispy, and spicy. Attentive staff as well!
google avatar

Vishnu G.

Yelp
There is a nice variety of tasty vegetarian options here. I'd stick mostly to the dim sum menu. My group tried the vegetarian dim sum platter (soybean dumplings, bamboo shoot dumplings, mixed mushroom dumplings, and Buddha delight dumplings), spicy mushroom dumplings, scallion pancakes, crispy milk curd, green tea rice ball, and mapo tofu. The dumplings were all fantastic, especially the spicy mushroom and milk curd ones. We got a variety of flavors through the spread we ordered. I appreciated the huge variety of choices. The mapo tofu was just fine - not really numbing or spicy, but came with a bunch of vegetables. I'd probably skip this one next time. Prices were reasonable at about $30 per person after tax and tip for a large amount of food (we ended up taking some of it home). Service was quick and very friendly.

Yelp
A great dim sum menu, with pictures and descriptions to help guide you. The dim sum came put fast but fresh and hot from the kitchen. Friendly service, and a full bar, what's not to like? We went in for lunch and had no problems getting a table. The place was busy, which is always a good sign.

Yelp
First time trying DIM SUM! What a TREAT. I suppose I have been living under a culinary rock because I truly had no idea what Dim Sum was up until a few weeks ago when my sister (who lives overseas in Europe, mind you) told me she wants to have Dim Sum while visiting NYC. I looked up Dim Sum Palace and wanted to try it before a Broadway show since the reviews were good. Lovely block between 7th and 8th Aves. The place is a bit on the smaller side, but it was packed with people coming in and out (always a good sign!) Had some delicious dumplings, the scallions pancakes and the crispy garlic spare ribs (the only dish we didn't like too much!) The rice noodle rolls were also INCREDIBLY tasty. I would soooo come back to this place. The service is also super great - the staff is warm and friendly and let us take our time with our choices. They also have a bar, which is nice (though we only had Ginger Ale's).

Yelp
I was near Times Square around midnight and really wanted some warm soup and a cold weather. I found this beautiful hidden gem that was open and ordered so much food! I entered and sat at a table and was giving two menus, one to check off items I'd like and the other a typical menu I could order off of. I did get my soup and it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered dry fried ribs, spring rolls, xiao long nap, lychee martini, salt and pepper shrimp, soup dumpling platter, and ended with an entire tea kettle! Everything was great! My favorites were the ribs, soup, martini, and xiao long bao. The waiters were so attentive. The food came out fast, it was hot, scrumptious and authentic! It was pretty empty at this time of night, but there were so many takeout orders. You could hear a party in the back area of the restaurant taking place. They were singing karaoke and having fun! When I was ready to go, they boxed my leftovers and even gave me a soup container to carry the remaining tea I had. It was such a beautiful experience to enjoy and authentic Chinese meal in New York at 2 AM! I would definitely return and highly recommend!

Yelp
Dim Sum Palace, my former favorite takeout spot, has seen better days. While still offering some outstanding dishes, consistency has suffered. Har gow, siu mai, and sesame balls remain top-notch. However, other items, like the egg tarts and congee, have decreased in quality. Pricing is fair, but quality control needs improvement. Worth visiting, but temper your expectations.

Yelp
This was our first experience at a dim sum restaurant and it was amazing. It was happy hour so all the drinks were half price. This is a great location in Hell's Kitchen NYC. The staff was great. It was Friday at lunch and there was not many customers. They sold more to-go orders while we were there than customers that ate in the restaurant. We had to get refills on the sauces, we ordered so much dim sum. I will definitely try dim sum again in the future.

Greg K.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! I was in Times Square for three nights in the dead of winter. I grew up in Hawaii where we have amazing Cantonese restaurants and searched for Chinese restaurants that served congee. If you are not familiar with congee it's a wonderful rice gruel which warms you up. I ate here all three nights. Their Dim Sum is great and their Wonton noodle soup was perfect with thin egg noodles and a generous number of delicious wontons. The evening host, Kevin, is very friendly. I highly recommend Dim Sum Palace on Restaurant Row on 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.
google avatar

Josh R.

Yelp
This place is right off of Times Square. We didn't have reservations, but it wasn't hard to get a table. We ordered a variety of things to share for the table. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
This is our pre-show restaurant of choice! Fast and delicious! The dim sum is so fresh and the fillings are top quality. The duck dumplings and pork soup dumplings are favorites.
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
Right on restaurant row, I wasn't sure what to expect from my Chinese brethren, but took an eased sigh when I walked in and they spoke my mother tongue (Toisanese). We were 3 adults and a baby, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our space requirements. We ordered a bunch of items on the menu (all the dumplings) and when I saw the limited noodle dishes on the back, I naturally used my insider language to get me something off the menu. All of the dimsum was great and high-quality, even ordering ones I'd never order myself. I would say this is on part with most "real" establishments in Chinatown/8th ave, but since it's Times Sq, expect the price to reflect as such. However, if you want solid Cantonese food/dimsum and are limited by distance, I would say this is a great place to stop by.

Yelp
We were looking for a spot for a late dinner after traveling and needless to say, I was extremely satisfied! Coming from a place in abundance of Chinese/Cantonese food, we wanted to find a spot that could satisfy our hungry bellies and have a taste of home. A friend had recommended this spot and I am so glad that they did! We ordered crispy fish with sweet and sour sauce, sautéed king mushroom w/ lotus and mixed veggies, and the house special seafood mei fun. The food was delicious and everything felt fresh. You can tell that the chefs know their stuff. I especially loved the crispy fish as not every restaurant can get it right with the batter, but Dim Sum Palace did. The vegetables were cooked well and tasted fresh. The mei fun was also a hit - it was perfectly stir fried and not too soggy or dry. The service was amazing - I appreciate how welcoming they were and the wait staff being very attentive. I believe the owner was also working that night and he greeted us warmly. It is always a nice feeling being welcomed in a place you are not local to! I would probably frequent here again when I come back to New York. It's not a surprise why they have multiple locations!

Yelp
Pretty good dim sum with a decent selection and a somewhat authentic feeling environment. The shu mai ($7.50), shrimp rice noodle ($7.95), and pan fried tiny buns ($7.95) are all good but fairly average. Not too much to note on these. The sweet egg yolk creamy bun ($7.50) was also pretty good, but I've had better. The crispy milk curd ($7.50) came out piping hot and just didn't taste as good as others I've had. As you can see, the prices are okay but seem slightly high for the portion sizes. The restaurant interior is decorated in a traditional Chinese restaurant style with Chinese artwork on the back wall, dark wooden furniture, and light colored tablecloths. It's actually a lot bigger inside than it appears from the outside, as it goes inward pretty far from the sidewalk entrance. There is plenty of seating available and was not crowded at all even for weekend lunch. If I was judging just based on food and environment, I would probably give 4 stars, but I have to knock off 1 star for service. While the staff were okay friendliness, they were not that attentive. What was more unpleasant was that in the middle of our meal, a whole group of workers (6 or so of them) sat down at the table right next to us and began eating their own meal and loudly talking to each other. I understand the workers need to eat too, but at least they could've picked one of the other many open tables in the restaurant rather than selecting the one right next to us and disturbing us. As such, I am giving Dim Sum Palace 3 stars (would be 3.5 stars if I could) - average dim sum, decent environment, but the service could be improved.

Yelp
Too expensive for the portion and taste. It or miss on the dishes we ordered. Ambiance (4/5): We arrived at 11:20am on a rainy Saturday and we were seated immediately. The establishment is fairly small with only a few tables. Not sure if there's an upstairs for additional dining. Service (4/5): The service is decent as they checked in on us and the food was prepared and delivered fairly quickly. You order by marking their paper menu with the number of items you want. There are no rolling carts to choose from. Food (3/5): Only half of their food was good. The price to the extremely small portions ultimately decreased my overall score. Several dishes would be a fraction of the price in Queens. The food bits were of lower quality (more tendons than meat, tough to chew, soup buns may have been frozen). We ordered 5 dishes for 2 people and were still hungry; the bill was approx $55 before tax. $8 for a pot of tea?! From best to worst: Roast pork rice roll - there was a healthy helping of roast pork in the rolls. The flavor was there and the meat was not dry. Chicken Feet - the taste was spot on. There's some peanuts used as filler to the dish! Pork Soup dumpling - this was tasty but far from the best I've had. The broth was decent but the inside meat was congealed indicating that the meat could have been frozen but I'm not 100% certain Chive pork dumpling - I liked it but it was biting to write home about. It could have used some more seasonings Spare rib - this was practically inedible as the pieces were mostly tendons and impossible to chew. There taro chunks used as filler as well.

Billy R.

Yelp
Excellent again! My fav Asian food spot in Manhattan! Nice ambiance as well! Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
The mango chicken was so amazing! My sister brought some home one day and I knew I had to go myself to have some more. The chicken dumplings were good as well. For dessert we had the sweet egg yolk buns -- they were not what I expected, but still enjoyed them. The ambiance was quiet; we went around 11PM for a late night bite. Service was very quick and friendly!
google avatar

Dipali G.

Yelp
Good food, good location, decent service! We came here on a Friday night before a show and essentially had the whole place to ourselves! The food came out pretty quickly and everything tasted pretty good! I especially liked the buns and dumplings! The spot is pretty big and has a ton of seating! The service was good!

Yelp
Was craving dim sum and it was getting late so this was an impromptu stop. Walked in and was immediately greeted, but the service throughout the entire dinner was not very attentive even when there weren't many patrons inside. We ordered quite a bit of the usual shu mai which can rarely be messed up, so if there is anything you want to order that may be a safe order; it's the shu mai's. Our other favorite dishes were CRISPY GARLIC SPARE RIBS, BEEF CHOW FUN and the CUCUMBER W/SZECHUAN SAUCE. Definitely recommend those dishes. I would skip on the CRABMEAT JUICY PORK BUNS, though. There are other places you can get better soup dumplings. Loved that they were open late so, most definitely would stop in under the same circumstances, but during normal lunch hours, I would go to my other favorite dim sum locations.
google avatar

Forum S.

Yelp
This is such a delicious dim sum place and they have a lot of great vegetarian options. The staff are a little abrupt but honestly they are really busy so it makes sense. They do at least take the time to answer your questions and even pointed out all the veggie dishes for me. Food: Food is excellent. It comes out really fast but you can tell that it's fresh. The noddles are oily as expected but the dim sum is amazing! We got a lot of the steamed items and it was so good. Price: Such a great price considering the amount of food you're getting. Atmosphere: This is definitely a super casual place.
google avatar

Yelp
I walked up and was graciously greeted and seated immediately at an outside table to enjoy the cool evening. Back in my favorite city in the country, I chose this place for my first meal and was rewarded with simply perfect dim sum. The Har Gow, spicy mushroom dumpling, and savory turnip cake were delicious! The turnip cake was unlike any I've had: I detected a touch of shrimp paste? Wonderful! My favorite dish was the sticky rice and pork wrapped in lotus leaf. I normally order the chicken version, and was pleasantly surprised by this one. At the onset, the first bite is what I've come to expect from this dish: warm, comforting, homey yumminess. But what i don't expect and absolutely loved was the bite of sweet Chinese sausage. Service was consistently friendly and efficient. Dim Sum Palace will be a regular spot for me whenever I'm in town :)
google avatar

Farhat K.

Yelp
Solid spot to grab some quick bites. We got seafood shumai, chicken shumai, shrimp dumplings, duck dumplings, and duck rolls. All were delicious and tasty. Inside is a very nice vibes and the servers were super nice. If you have a broadway show, just come here and eat before it. Fast service and solid food. Can't complain.
google avatar

Katherine P.

Yelp
Good late night eats and they have a bar that serves more than just beer and wine. Lots of options for dim sum along with a full menu of entrees. Severs were friendly. Only complaints is that we did order fried rice and it came out significantly after the dim sum and we were almost full by then.
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
We need a place near the theatre and this suited our needs. Casual. We decided to split black beans and chicken between the two of us. I have to say it was very good. And I love my Chinese food! Also, they were very attentive and kept refilling our water glasses - I didn't have to hunt down the waiter like I usually do. If you pay with cash, you get a 5% discount. I know they have great dim sum but we just weren't in the mood for that. They are fast and efficient and we were able to walk leisurely to the theatre from here.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Must eat stop! The dumplings are fantastic and everything we tried was super tasty. It is our go to stop when we are in the theater district. Try the sesame balls. They are the best ones I've ever had.
google avatar

Jenna Z.

Yelp
I have come here a number of times whenever I'm craving some dimsum! However my biggest issue with Dim Sum Palace is that it's very overpriced. I'm not used to dimsum being expensive but I will order like 4 dishes and it'll come out to 35 per person for 2 people which feels like a lot for dimsum. The quality of food is okay but nothing stellar nor worth $35. Overall there are better places in NYC for dimsum
google avatar

Yelp
Location: 28 W 56th St, New York, NY 10019 Service: It was good. Ambiance: Place wasn't too crowded and it's clean. Bathrooms are clean too. Food: The food was excellent. Fresh and clean. Enough crispness, not greasy, enough tenderness for the meat and there is uniqueness to it. Please see caption in each photo.

Yelp
Pre show dinner was a hit! Got the chive pork dumplings - freshly made and delicious. Bbq pork buns, pork was a bit on the sweeter side but buns were soft and pillowy. Garlic ginger sauce chicken - loved the seaweed in this added a nice texture along with the celery. Scallion egg fried rice - was good. Everything was light and not overly greasy to me.
google avatar

Cassie M.

Yelp
Came in for dinner by myself because I was craving dim sum and happy to have found this place open so late at night! Service was super attentive and fast and friendly. Growing up in San Francisco, I had dim sum all the time as a kid and eating here brought me back to those memories. My essentials are always shumai and hargow but I decided to try something new and went for the roast duck dumplings and those did not disappoint. The egg custard buns were soo good as well but boiling hot inside it got all over my sweater so be careful lol. Chrysanthemum tea was so fragrant and pleasant, just a little expensive at $8 for a pot
google avatar

Kathy K.

Yelp
This authentic Cantonese restaurant located in the Times Square area of NYC offers a nice variety of dim sum along with a full menu. We had several items including the Cucumber salad $9.95, Scallion Pancake $8.95, Seafood Peashoot Dumpling $7.50, Royal Seafood over peashoot vegetable $29.95, and Sesame balls $7.50. The dumplings were my favorite but everything was good. I wouldn't get the scallion pancake again. Great service.
google avatar

Nikhil R.

Yelp
Maybe it was just a bad experience, but I was not impressed with any of the food that this dim sum place served. I will start with the positive which is that chicken soup dumplings were really good, and they had a really nice chili oil to go along with it. I also liked their duck spring rolls, but it personally had no duck flavor and just tasted like a regular vegetable spring roll. We got several other items that had duck in it that were either not good, or too dry and chewy. Nothing felt that satisfying to eat, and I was left wanting a better experience.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
The service is fast and attentive, and the servers are friendly. The interior is not fancy, but it's clean and pleasant. It was not busy at lunchtime, but I'm guessing evenings are different. I recommend the pork and thousand-year egg congee and the spareribs. I also liked the green tea dessert balls. It's easy to over order dim sum, especially when you are picking from a menu. But some dishes like pork buns are still good cold, so there's no issue if you don't have a microwave. I also like the duck egg rolls--you don't see these often.

Yelp
No-nonsense authentic Hong Kong style cuisine near koreatown kind of hidden away, i was originally going somewhere else but stumbled here unexpectingly the food is pretty fresh and it was very hot when we received it. Good! the service is pretty fast the dimsum is sooo good hidden Gem would return

Yelp
First of all, if you're looking for a dim sum place with the carts, go elsewhere. (Many dim sum places in Manhattan don't have the carts.) If you're looking for good dim sum, this is your spot. It's small with only a few tables in a front room, a hallway, and a back room, but we got a seat for three around noon on a Sunday in July. Service was quick and friendly and our food came out within minutes. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the soup dumplings with pork and the BBQ pork buns. A tray of three sauces- soy, spicy sauce, and a soy with ginger- is on each table. My wife enjoyed their iced jasmine tea with a little sugar.

Yelp
This was my second time at Dim Sum Palace. The first was actually a few years ago when my daughter and I needed something quick before heading to a show. I remember that when we said we were in a hurry, they made sure we got our food very quickly. This time my husband and I also had show tickets but we weren't in a hurry so we had a nice leisurely dinner. We only eat vegetarian or kosher when we go out and there were a lot of vegetarian options. We had the vegetarian dumpling assortment, cold sesame noodles and tofu with vegetables. Everything was delicious! The servers are polite and professional. I will definitely go back when I'm in the city again.

Yelp
With six locations throughout New York City, this establishment is an oasis that caters to every patron's palate located on Restaurant Row (46th Street) by Times Square, where some of our family members reunited as first-timers for lunch today. Reservations were easily made by calling the restaurant. Dim Sum Palace is small in a comfortable, relaxed vibe with only a few tables in a front room, a hallway, and a back room. We were greeted by the staff upon arrival and directed us to the back room for a table of 16 with other patrons. Their authentic Hong Kong-style menu is quite extensive. Instead of carts rolling with the food items for selection, we were presented with a Dim Sum picture menu that we could mark for our choices. We decided on a huge selection to share featuring Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll, Beef Rice Noodle Roll, Shrimp Dumplings, Shu Mai, Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Feet, Pan Fried Turnip Cake, Steamed Shrimp, Sausage & Chives Dumpling, Sticky Rice with Pork Wrapped in Lotus Leaf, Crispy Vegetarian Rice Noodle, Pan Fried Tiny Bun, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Beef Chow Fun, Scallion Pancake, Young Chow Fried Rice, and General Tso's Chicken. The food was well seasoned, delicious, and served hot. They came out really fast, but one could tell that it's fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we never felt rushed. The price was reasonable given the amount of food that we took home for another meal. Quality is on a par with Chinatown unless one's fussy about something very specific. We had an excellent time spent and can't wait for the next reunion, which we can recommend.

Yelp
We were in the Midtown area and were craving soup dumplings, and saw this restaurant. We ordered Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Roast Pork Roll, Spicy Szechuan Wonton Soup, and Shrimp Dumplings. The Spicy Szechuan was misleading because it wasn't as spicy as I expected. It was more sweet for my liking. I also thought the Roast Pork Roll was more meatier than I thought, and the Shanghai Soup Dumplings were less soupy. It is important to note that the location probably has a influence on the way they seasoned the foods!

Yelp
The food here is good. Service is fast. It can get a bit busy at times. For the area the prices are reasonable, about 35ish dollars per person. If feeling like eating dim sum in the area, I would recommend.

Yelp
My friend came into the city and since most of her dim sum friends have moved away, she asked me if I would mind if we had dim sum for dinner. I had not had it in a while and agreed quickly. It is a long space, almost like a railroad apartment which extends all the way to the back. We were seated immediately and our drink orders taken. We decided on a number of dumplings to start and told the waiter that we would order more if we were still hungry, The food came quickly and repeatedly and was hot and delicious. We ordered a second round and this was quickly finished. We had had enough at that point and ordered dessert. It was an excellent meal, the waiter was attentive and the meals was reasonably priced for the area. i would recommend and return.

Yelp
Good dim sum, had vegetarian and wild mushroom. Very hot, but authentic, nonetheless. Server forgot to mention how hot the desert would be... burned my fingers :/ but good first experience, overall. Will return for another Mai Tai!

Yelp
Had lunch here after visiting Times Square! The food was pretty solid. The soup dumpling skins were just a tad thicker than what I usually prefer, but the soup broth and filling were flavor. The fried rice was definitely top-tier. Baos were good but not the best I've had. Bathrooms were pretty clean.
