On the Grid : Dinosaur BBQ

"An upstate favorite originally from Syracuse, Dinosaur opened its massive Gowanus outpost in 2013. Brooklynites line up in the cold for hearty portions of pit-smoked meats and live blues and rock. The long menu features the best St. Louis-style ribs this side of the Hudson, tender hand-pulled pork and an awesome brisket sandwich. The main attractions may be the slow-cooked animals, but vegetarians can pig out on fried green tomatoes and the killer mac and cheese." - Hyperakt

Where To Eat In Gowanus - New York - The Infatuation

"Dinosaur Bar-B-Que’s Gowanus location (there’s a big outpost in Harlem, the original in Syracuse, and a few others throughout NY state) is a useful place to know about. It’s in a huge space that looks like a converted barn, so it’s big enough for your most popular friend’s birthday party, but it’s also good for a casual lunch or dinner with kids—or even eating pit-smoked chicken wings alone at the bar and watching sports on TV. Regardless of why you’re here, make sure to get the crunchy, cheesy fried green tomatoes." - Bryan Kim, Carina Finn Koeppicus

Dinner at dinosaur BBQ in Gowanus, Brooklyn, NYC. Made a reservation and our party of 5 was seated right away. Cons: service very slow, food service very slow, and crazy loud. My wife had difficulty speaking to the person next to her. Pro: everyone enjoyed the food. My wife and I didn't love it. Sauces too vinegary. Sweet tea on point. They've got outdoor dining that's dog friendly, but we did indoor last night. Parking can be tough in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) Cornbread was excellent and the cider cocktail hit the spot. Outdoor seating gave me a little old-school New Orleans vibe, which I liked. But the rest of the meal disappointed: dry brisket/ribs, bland mashed potatoes, plain mac & cheese, and a sausage that needed more kick. Service was fine, dogs were welcome, but overall it felt like Dinosaur BBQ is leaning too hard on the same tired playbook.

This was my first time to the Brooklyn outpost of Dinosaur BBQ - though I have been to their Harlem location before. I was surprised how familiar it felt. The host was very friendly and accommodating and even stepped in when our server got overwhelmed by a larger group seated before us. The portions of Dino are amazing - considering the 65 million year dearth of supply - and yet so tasty and fresh. It’s pretty incredible when you think about it - that something so old can be so tasty and moist. I ended up with the brisket plate which was a nice large portion - very moist and tasty and sides of Mac & cheese (a must) and the roasted sweet potatoes with nuts. My friend got one of their sandwiches - the True Blue Bar-B-Que which he devoured before helping himself to some of my remaining brisket. The iced tea was refreshing and helped us recover from our long journey and the heat of a New York summer day. The space is plenty big enough for groups of any size and they do have the ability to host private groups in private space. The food came out plenty quick once we got our order in - so fast in fact, we stuck around enjoying the AC and those iced teas before heading off to a show down the street.

Great spot to have chilled time with friends. Lots of choices, including desserts. Nice bar area for quick meal too. ❤️‍🔥🍪✨Caramel chocolate chip cookie square was surprisingly my VIP and a hidden wonderful treat. It was rich, flavorful, crunchy, chewy and soft at the same time. I grabbed one to go (they have sundae as dessert if dine-in) it was amazing. 🍖🦴Petit trio plate was a great option for ppl who want to try the top 3 kinds of meat but still want space for sides/ desserts. Ribs might be my favorite in the plate. The meat could be easily pulled off from the bone. (Brisket was the second and pulled pork the third. But them were all good and not dry at all.) Sides might be the part that think that was not that impressive. They were good, average. Cornbread was slightly dry. Sweet potatoe pie was not sweet, kinda a healthier option I guess! Pretty light.

Really good BBQ place in Brooklyn. Food was so good, everything what we ordered was fresh, well prepared and cooked. Really delicious 😋. Services was so friendly, helped in choosing dishes. Definitely recommend to come to this restaurant.

Ambiance (5/5): The venue is very spacious and nicely decorated. Be careful of the steps that elevate the bar area. Rustic décor. Large private dining area available in the back as well. Full bar with bar seating to the left. Service (2/5): We came on a weekend at 1pm and our party of 2 was told to wait on availability when the restaurant was almost a third empty. We were seated, patiently trying to make eye contact with the wait staff to place an order and even walked up to the takeout ordering window after mistakenly thinking we were supposed to self-order there, that even the table seated next to us almost 10 min after us was serviced before us. Luckily after our drinks and food were ordered, the food came out fairly quickly! Food Overall (2/5): Both the original sauce and the habanero sauce were not good. I preferred to eat the meats without which is such a shame because I usually like to eat my BBQ meats with the variety of sauces! But that also meant that the meats were deliciously seasoned and did not need any sauce accompaniment! Pulled pork Bahn Mi (5/5): This was way by far the best meat and sandwich by far that we had here. The meat was super soft and flavorful which was doubly balanced with the Korean bbq sauce, pickled vegetables, and the unique bread. St. Louis Ribs (4/5): The next ribs were cooked to be fall off the bone and wonderfully seasoned! The serving size was only 3 ribs but it could have used a little more fat to meat ratio to make it even better. However that much complaints to it. Brisket (2/5): The briskets were seasoned through but were they dry as heck. I couldn’t even finish my first piece of the 3 pieces. Mac and Cheese (2/5): nothing to write home about Cajun Corn (4/5): I liked the Cajun seasoning but still felt like it could have need some more of a punch or seasoning but not sure what Mashed Potatoes w Gravy (2/5): nothing to write home about Corn bread (2/5): nothing to write home about

Number one, the people who work here are awesome. We had incredible service throughout. The food was authentic BBQ and all was good. The menu is full with lots of great choices. The decor felt like a Texas BBQ place!

I had a great jurassic BBQ time with my kids ! they were happy to try bbq items where a tangy BBQ mustache would definitely prove they were having a non judgemental dinner, lol. I can say the food was decent. Not everything hit the same, but that is a matter of taste buds of first encounter, not shade on the staff and establishment. We liked the barn like esthetics of the restaurant, and our waitress and others were attentive for such a big busy place. the parking was not the best, but hey, this is brooklyn, and if you don't know how to troop it in NYC, then you definitely will have a new generational meltdown, lol. well, I hope to repeat my visit in the near future so that I can make all the BBQ grub on my dish extinct! 😋

Yelp
I've been going to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que for years and I absolutely love it. The restaurant is really big inside and they have a few tables in the front of building, so the wait is never too long. It is in a high traffic area though so it's still a good idea to make a reservation. For this visit we ordered the sampler plate that came with two of the following: Green fried tomatoes, Devil eggs, wings and a ribs. Everything on that plate was amazing.. the Devil eggs were so good, probably my favorite. I would have been satisfied with the app alone, it was plentiful but i did get a main and it was two proteins and side. I got the Alabama chicken, brisket, mac n cheese and coleslaw. The sauce for the chicken was really good and the brisket was so tender. I love their mac n cheese, its so creamy and the coleslaw is refreshing. I looove this spot and will always recommend it to others to try out!

Yelp
I was here for the 4th of July the other day and had an overall great time. It was understandable busy for a holiday so I had to wait about 30 minutes for my table to be ready. Once seated, my waiter Issac took my order. I had the Donkey Punch drink along with two meats (Alabama White Pulled Chicken and St. Louis Ribs) with two sides (BBQ Beans with Pork and Harlem Potato Salad). In addition, I had 3 Creole Deviled Eggs and Cornbread with my meal. My food came out in a decent amount of time. My waiter didn't check on me during my meal so I wasn't able to order another drink, receive napkins, or another glass of ice water with lemon. It was a holiday but I was disappointed with the slight neglect/attention. A $50 tab was ideal for all that food with a drink. I definitely will come back on a weekday and on a non-holiday. I want to try the Henny Colada, Bar-B-Que Chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens the next time around.

Yelp
Always a solid meal. Their wango habenero sauce is great so whatever meat it's on is tasty. The barbeque is cooked in big batches generally once a day I think so they often run out of some things by the end of the night but they do their best to make appropriate substitutions. Generally just a vehicle for their sauces and portions individually could be a bit larger but it's also barbeque in NY so expectations aren't too high.

Yelp
Best BBQ in the neighborhood! If you haven't been, definitely check out Dino BBQ as their ribs and sauce are unmatched. I've been eating here for awhile now and even with me being now gluten free, they have so many delicious options for me to choose from. This was my first time ordering the mashed potatoes and they were pretty good and had Cajun corn inside. The drinks are always well made. The restaurant itself has ample seating inside and outside. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat but they allowed us to wait inside. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and on top of things. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the meat was a bit overcooked.

Yelp
My go to spot for any concert at Barclays. This spot always hits and the food is amazing. I've gotten the brisket a few times and it's hit or miss. The pulled pork and ribs were so good! It's also such fast service!

Yelp
This place has gone from average to bad. An Uber Eats delivery of half chicken with one side and a small tray of wings was just awful. The breast from the half chicken was severely overcooked, yet pink/rare near the bone, the mashed potatoes had an odd taste, they forgot to pack the BBQ sauce and the wings were slathered with the BBQ sauce on soft skin. Everything was very salty. Horrible all around and two meals ended up in the garbage. Never again.

Yelp
Pretty abysmal bbq restaurant. Ordered the tres ninos: brisket, pulled pork and St. Louis ribs and got an assortment of sides: a spicy cucumber salad, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. The ribs had a good char but the pulled pork and brisket were pretty bland. I wish they didn't put so much sauce on the meat because it felt like they were trying to compensate for the lack of flavor. The Mac and cheese was dry and I prefer the Cole slaw to be more bite sized and chopped up. Overall, the bbq is nothing special and I would probably go to another restaurant for a more satisfying meal.

Yelp
The food is delicious but what is outstanding is the customers service. Manager Ziggy actually walked around and checked on all the customers making sure everyone was happy and satisfied. He really cares about the happiness and satisfaction of all his customers. Very rare in New York restaurants lately.

Yelp
We were in Brooklyn and decided to visit Dinosaur BBQ on Memorial Day 2025. It was somewhat crowded when we arrived before dinner time, but seemed many tables empty and available but we did not make reservations (not even sure if you can) and there was an approximate 30 min wait. No worries as there was space at the bar and we were serviced immediately. The table was ready. We ordered an appetizer to try while we decided on the main courses. Something changed and the server was asking us if we were ready to order before even having the appetizer. Hmmm. We placed our orders and the dysfunction began. We all loved the Swag Sampler, fries green tomatoes, deviled eggs, wings, and ribs. But the waitress disappeared and multiple people appeared saying they were out of this, then a few moments later again saying they were out of that, and same a few mins later. I cannot even recall all of the meats they were out of as I ordered catfish, but my dining partners were not happy. The meals were delivered and a request was made for lemon (for the catfish) and waters and drink refills which were seemingly ignored for quite some time. So we opted to order from the bar which had NO problem servicing us on the spot. Paid for at the bar. The food was good, it really was but all this confusion detracted from full enjoyment of the experience. The catfish was good and would have been better eaten right away had lemon been made available. The baked beans were quite tasty, we liked the Mac and cheese, the slaw and potato salad were excellent. Pretty good cornbread. The waitress and manager seemed overwhelmed and defeated with any request or comment. Busy, busy place but seems mismanaged, or was just an off day, however, they did try to make things right by comping the appetizer and a free t shirt. Kuddos for that. It started off great and we did like the things we had so would give them another chance if ever in the vicinity. Clean restrooms and only on street parking.

Yelp
I received an order from this restaurant on accident after a mixup by an UberEats driver, so this is probably the most honest review you can get. I received an order of BBQ wings - it was like they had been baked and then rolled in bbq sauce as opposed to being bbq wings. The meat was also very low quality. Overall, they weren't good. I also received a kids' wing meal and the wings were noticeably better flavored but were still lower quality wings. There were also ribs and some sort of jalapeño pork that were both very dry looking - they looked so unappetizing i didn't try them. Can't say much on the sides - i don't eat mac and cheese or mashed potatoes, but they both looked like they were from a box. The corn slaw was okay. Overall, can't recommend anything I had, but online the place looks like a nice spot to have a drink and hang out outside -- just don't expect much re: food quality.

Yelp
OMG!! This place was amazing! Came here for my wife's birthday! Delicious, fresh BBQ and super plentiful! The pricing was the best, as it was below what I was expecting to pay for BBQ, especially in NYC! The workers were very pleasant and helpful regardless if they served you or not! A rare commodity nowadays! And the place was so cool. It had a very fun atmosphere, great for families, friends and sports fanatics alike! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I went to Dinosaur BBQ with my friend last Saturday and it was awesome. We loved the Deviled Eggs, and the food was a big portion. I was full the entire day. The waitress was great! She was very attentive. And the ambiance was laid back. Great casual place for a barbecue & catching up with friends

Yelp
This is the 2nd time coming to this place. I have to say it was great once again. The waitress was sweet. The food was great. I love the decor. We definitely will be back again. You can't go wrong with the family dinner for 4-6. My kids are big eaters and we actually took some food home. Please keep up with the good food and service. Oh one more thing the karaoke person was hysterical.

Yelp
my boyfriend and i really enjoy the food here- the combo meals are a steal in my opinion. you get a ton of food and its fairly priced. service is always quick, never waited to be seated any of the times we've came and the food always came out steaming

Yelp
Pretty good BBQ spot for area, but not the juiciest I've ever had. Everything came out slightly cold and the meat could've been more tender. Also not a lot of gluten free options, but the server was very helpful in accommodating what she could!

lidia ..

Yelp
We are a group 9 - seated for 15min no water no service. The bathroom stalls have markings all over the doors; and used paper towels were everywhere. We had to pass down our own plate. Ribs were salty, chicken was dry and corn bread was dry as well. I guess the fries were alright. Simmer greens were sour and they looked like "collard greens" gave up after its 9-5 job

Yelp
Super busy during July 4th. The wait estimated was well over 90 minutes, and even takeout took over a 30 minute wait. There weren't any seating available, so we ended up sitting at the nearby park to eat. I thought all the meats I got were okay. Ribs were fall off the bone tender, but still somehow a little dry. I thought brisket had a good flavor but could use some sauce to moisten it. The cornbread was a little on the drier side for me, but I liked the potato salad. They messed up and gave us ribs on one of the orders instead of pulled pork. However, they were extremely busy so understandable.

Yelp
Dinosaur Bar B Que make me feel like I'm in the South at my great great grandma family cookout. The ribs, BBQ chicken and brisket!!! Would send you to heaven in back. Flavorful and tasteful. Idk what sauce they put on the ribs and chicken but it's delicious. You can't have southern food with no cornbread. I love me a good warm cornbread. Service was excellent. Staff was very informative but everything was self explanatory. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jennie K.

Yelp
Overall I liked my experience here. the food i might rate between a 3/4 stars but the drinks were good and the service was pretty fast! Not all the meat was as tender but i did like their sauce flavor. The sides were great! The restaurant was a normal amount of busy and wasn't too loud. There were tvs all around to watch sports. One thing, the happy hour is only available at the bar which we didn't know until we ordered.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! I'm no bbq connoisseur but I enjoyed all the dishes we had - ribs with a bunch of different sides, brisket, and some apps. It was a bit busy on a Saturday but service was excellent.

Yelp
Sighs. This is a lot to unpack. I'm in complete utter disappointment but I'm going to be as respectful as possible. I wanted some good macaroni and cheese with bbq ribs while on the drive back to Brooklyn. I was close to Gowanus so Dinosaur Bar-B-Que popped up with such great reviews on google and I went for it. Something told me I should've checked Yelp reviews first but I trusted the astronomical amount of great reviews posted on google. I placed my order for takeout. Customer service was great so there's where they earn the 2 stars. I found the prices at the time to be reasonable until I got home and unpacked pure chaos. I literally want to cry because I feel like this was money NOT well spent. Kids pulled pork sandwich was $9 and super small. Like a slider. That should be a bit bigger for sure or $6 at most. It was bland and my kid didn't want it despite me pouring BBQ sauce on it. I said I'll keep it but I also wasn't fond of it. The actual BBQ rack of ribs were very salty and too tough and chewy to eat. They did look super presentable but it was not at all what it looks like. The Korean beef is Highway robbery. It was $31 and came with 2 sides. It consist of very thin and burnt beef and underneath is something like a beef shin but not sure? That is so not worth the price at all especially since it's so little and not at all good. The corn bread pieces are so small but was tasty and hard as well. Keep in mind I picked up my order at 4:50-5:00pm. The sides were a huge disappointment as well. I understand that people have different taste preferences but this was beyond something anyone should serve. The macaroni and cheese was ULTRA BLAND 1/5. I have to emphasize that because it had no flavor at all. The Collard greens taste as if they were literally drowned in an entire bottle of vinegar, it's beyond me how anyone could enjoy that 0/5. Fried rice taste like only soy sauce 2/5. The Baked beans were decent 3/5 and the potato salad is the only thing I would rate 5 stars. I just can't and won't ever return here again. Out of every BBQ place I've eaten at in NYC this is definitely the bottom of the list. I'm so sorry to have to sound so horrible but I can't in good faith write a dishonest review. I have to be as transparent as possible. For those who enjoy it, I'm glad they do. It wasn't for my family and I.

Yelp
If meat is your favorite dish, you came right on the spot. Magnificent flavors together, fast service, waiters are not very friendly but the food is delicious.

Yelp
I came to Brooklyn for work and live in Texas so was not expecting the bbq to be at par but thought I would give it a try. Trini the bartender recommended the ribs and brisket and knowing I was from Texas she said go for it. I can tell you the Brisket was good but the first order of ribs was dry. However, Trini said I got you and brought me another half rack that was moist and fell off the bone. Try the Harlem potato salad. I enjoyed it and the portions were large.

Yelp
Love this barbecue joint in Gowanus! I really enjoyed the ribs and the jalapeño cheese sausage. The ribs were super flavorful and fell off the bone. The sausage had great flavor and snap. The cole slaw and Mac and cheese sides were good. Definitely a safe choice for bbq!

Yelp
We tried this place for dinner recently and it was just ok. Our waiter was not friendly. She seemed annoyed that we were there. They were completely out of beef and pork when we went (7pm). We were told it was because they were busy the day before. I wanted to try the brisket and pulled pork, but we were still able to find some options. My sides were incorrect and when I asked for the correct sides, the waiter charged me for them as extra sides. We were ready to leave and didn't want to interact with the waiter any more. Overall, the food was ok. Service was not.

Yelp
My husband and I have come here so many times and love it every time. We wanted to get a nice meal after work. The service was great! And we did not have to wait long for a table although it was a little busy inside. We started with the nachos as an appetizer and honestly they were so delicious and filling that I could've gotten full off of just those. I had a frozen margarita that was very sweet and tart at the same time (but it worked!) and was a great start to the frozen drink season. I loved my buffalo chicken sandwich and the sauce was delicious. My husband loved his catfish po boy as well. The Mac and cheese was also delicious. The restaurant is great bar vibes inside while also being family friendly. Love this place!

Yelp
Came here recently after the Gowanus Art Tour for lunch with friends. If you are looking for barbecue in this part of Brooklyn than this is the place. I had the BBQ Brisket Original, slow-cooked with sauce and horseradish mayo. It is a very filling, flavorful, and satisfying sandwich. They have a good selection of beers to accompany your meal. Atmosphere, pricing, and service were all on point...

Yelp
Excellent food and lots of it. Our half chicken and fried catfish came with two sides each so we went for mac'n'cheese, Harlem potato salad, Cajun corn, and mashed taters with gravy; Yuh-um! This place does not hold back! In addition to the food being great, the three servers we met were each awesome in their own way. Go Dino!

Yelp
Spacious restaurant, even on Saturday, very accommodating staff regarding obtaining a comfortable chair for the disabled and great service! The food was delicious! We ordered a cold Harlem potato salad, and it was amazing, and all the combinations of different meats were prepared very well. However, the beef brisket in our opinion was the best and very tender. The food felt nourishing and tasted great, especially hot mashed potatoes with gravy. The ambiance was good. The music was a bit loud when we arrived, but it was turned down a bit when we requested politely. We recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for barbecue meats and gravy! It was surprisingly delicious and very well prepared!

Yelp
Lunch. Still excellent. They didn't do anything wrong but I'll hit it with 4 stars. It's not exactly destination dining but it's good enough for me to go to Brooklyn for brisket with Tania. Over-ordered intentionally can came prepared for leftovers to take home. Smoked wings (delicious) with garlic chipotle sauce that was full of flavor with solid spice. Brisket plate, smoky and flavorful. Ribs, decent smoke and surprisingly tender and moist. I see the smoke ring but I wonder how they keep it relatively moist, even at the ends of the rack. Solid beer recommendation from Devon (unsure of spelling). Appreciated the sample pour before committing. All in, good food and experience overall. Easy recommendation if you're in the mood in the area.

Yelp
It was okay my friends dragged me here. I'm not really into rustic places and wet food. I was expecting way much more. Service was ehh, they enjoyed the food though. You get a lot of value here for sure. Prices are nice for what it is. Parking is bad though. Feels like 2008 inside.

Yelp
We decided to give the Syracuse based restaurant in Brooklyn a try. Good BBQ, decent prices, decent service. We will go again.

Yelp
Honestly some of the best BBQ I've ever had in NYC! Food: Come hungry because you'll be stuffing your face with the pretty generous portions. The menu was so fun- not only do they have BBQ, but also many options for sandwiches and tacos, too! I decided to be greedy and get the Tres Niños, which let you try the prime brisket, ribs and pulled pork. Platters come with two sides so I got the BBQ Fried Rice and French Fries. My husband got the grilled brisket tacos with a side of simmered greens. I'm not even exaggerating when I say everything was delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful. Sometimes you get barbecue that is just doused in sauce and that's all you can taste, but I could really tasted the rich flavor of the meat through the sauce. The simmered greens were tangy and delicious and I gobbled it all up. (if you're like "wait, didn't your husband order that?"... yes, you're right. I just stole it off his plate, oops. Don't worry, he was compensated in French fries and these fries were crispy and tasty!) Ambiance: Kinda like a barn? Check out the mobile in the back made out of glass bottles. Lots of fun things to look at. Service: This is the one thing they need to really work on. We waited a lot- from placing our order, to getting a glass of water, to getting the check. Since it was early, it wasn't that crowded but unfortunately service was slow. Next time, we'll probably sit at the bar or just get takeout.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend for lunch and was sat promptly. First thing I noticed was that the table felt sticky so that wasn't pleasant, but interior was fine. Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. Onto the food, we ordered the dino poutine as an appetizer and to be honest, we were pretty full after it. It is super filling- the fries were crispy and the brisket was tender. I do wish there was more crazy though. The relish? Added a nice tang to cut the richness of the dish. Bf and I probably ate two bites of our actual meals before tapping out and getting it wrapped. The food held up pretty well after being heated up. Brisket- tender, juicy, flavorful Mac- I prefer a Mac and cheese with more cheese sauce, this one was quite dry Mashed potatoes- was well seasoned and paired well with the gravy. This is a very dense mashed potatoes, not creamy or fluffy Corn bread- didn't stand out to either of us, nothing special Sliders- bf said they were all good

Yelp
First time here and it does not disappoint!!! All the food was amazing, service was amazing and the ambiance was super comforting. Donkey punch was great, all the sides were awesome. We had mashed potatoes, Cole slaw and Mac n cheese with our family meal. It feeds 4 people really well, probably 6 people . Brandon came by and checked on us several times and took good care of us. Super nice guy!! Can't wait to come back again

Yelp
Yum! We went on a Monday night and there were plenty of tables, inside and out. The service outside was a bit slow, so we went to the bar and got a couple of craft drafts (then you don't care how slow the service is). When our order did get taken, the food came out faster than the app! The food is delicious. We had 6 different meats and each was flavorful. Is it the best cut of meat?..... No, but it is flavorful and we ate them all. We enjoyed all of the sides including the heavy vinegar based greens. (Good for the stomach). Love the craft draft choices.

Yelp
Large comfortable room and attentive service. And the cocktails are good. The Prime Brisket is moist and pairs well with their BBQ sauces. A little disappointing that they do not serve Burnt Ends.

Yelp
found this place when looking for allergen friendly restaurants and so glad i did. the workers were all very nice. we started w the creole deviled eggs which were good but not the best deviled eggs ive ever had. we both got the tres niños plate (ribs, brisket, & pulled pork) which comes with 2 sides. i got the bbq beans w pork and the coleslaw. my mom got the fries and the colelsaw. everything was delicious but i think the pulled pork was my favorite. there is ample indoor and outdoor seating and a bar w tvs.

Yelp
COME EARLY IF YOU WANT RIBS!!! Phenomenal service and astounding employees! If you call ahead of time you can check the wait time. If not, there's still plenty of places to grab a drink nearby while you wait!

Yelp
We visited two hours before closing, and our server seemed completely checked out. I am concerned that the employees are not getting enough respect and support if they do not have the energy to take care of customers. The chicken wings and coleslaw were the best and juiciest part of our meal. We ordered three Korean wings and three Buffalo wings. I did not perceive much difference between the two wing sauces. The mac and cheese could have been incredible if it was served to temp. The ribs were lukewarm and drying out, and the cornbread was dry and almost cold. The picnic tables outside are pretty rustic (no splinters though!). The inside of the restaurant is spacious and amply-decorated. I'm undecided about dining here again.
