Yesterday we visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The drinks were 10/10; the bartender did an outstanding job, Thanks Ashley. To finish, we enjoyed a delicious dessert that was the perfect ending to a great meal. I also want to highlight the manager, (Nikky) she is fantastic, kind, and a pleasure to see around the restaurant, always making sure everyone is comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place. The food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. Definitely worth visiting!

Had a really nice meal at Dishdash. I ordered the shish touk with spiced potatoes and the tikka kebab with freekeh. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The beef was especially flavorful and tender, even tastier than the chicken, but the grilled chicken was still juicy and delicious. Overall a very satisfying and comforting meal, and I would definitely come back.

Our team of seven visited for a weekday lunch. Although we had requested indoor seating a day in advance, we were ultimately seated outside. Despite this, the food was enjoyable and the portions were well-suited for individuals. We sampled a variety of proteins, including chicken, lamb, and salmon, along with vegetarian options. ​Menu Highlights: ​Mansaf: Excellent and very creamy. ​Beriani Dajaj: Delicious. ​Mocktails: The Pineapple Ginger and Passionfruit drinks were both great. ​Note: The salmon in the Tabsi was a bit dry, and the Maza sampler was slightly small for a group of 6. ​Overall, it was a positive experience for the team.

I have such mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some of the food was excellent and some was terrible. There was no in between. We went for dinner on a Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend, and still the restaurant was quite full, which is impressive. The restaurant itself is pretty large with a lot of different sections. We were seated in the last section and the space itself was cozy. The service was attentive. Let me start by the things I loved The house pita with the zaatar dip is excellent. It is complimentary but was definitely one of the best things I ate that night. They were also not stingy with it, and we got two or three refills. The falafel was extremely fresh, and the toum was so garlicky and creamy. The muhamarra and rest of the mezze excellent as well was excellent as well. Although the portions for the mezze platter seemed a bit small. I loved, loved the mansaf. The lamb was so tender, and the yoghurt sauce was so flavourful. The kebab platter, however, was an utter disappointment. The lamp was hard and chewy extremely overcooked. The chicken was bland and the accompanying Brussels sprouts made no sense. My friends had the vegetarian entree and again, it was pretty disappointing. The egg plants were burnt to point where it tasted a bit better. The falafel were all soggy in the sauce and did not feel like falafel. Felt like a poorly executed dish. If I am back again, I will just get the mansaf as it was so good.

25 years I’ve enjoyed this hot spot. Decided to try something different than my usual lamb kabobs or sea bass mashwi. The rack of lamb was perfectly medium rare and the carrots Vickie recommended were wonderfully sweet and spiced. Also new to the menu are the crab felafels, best crab cakes ever! Go there tomorrow night tell them Eddie sent you😁👍👍🥂

I’ve been to Dishdash multiple times and loved it every time. Every dish I’ve tried has been great. This visit we ordered the beef kebab and Mashakaleh—both were hearty, flavorful, and generously portioned with lots of veggies (which I love). They also had their Christmas decor up, making the space feel especially cozy and homey. As usual, it was busy and bustling, and I really enjoy the vibe!

This restaurant is a stunning spot for enjoying Middle Eastern cuisine. The portions are generous, the meats are expertly seasoned, and the drinks are just as impressive. We had an amazing dinner with our group and enjoyed every moment of the experience.

We have been going to Dish Dash for many many years. The menu has expanded with many Mediterranean dishes. We had the soup and Maza appetizers for two included pita bread and 8 dips. For the main entree had a lamb dish. And Turkish coffee thick and sweet and Baklava for desert

5 Stars If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This is hands-down the best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to! Every single dish was incredible, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean coast. The highlight of the meal? The lamb. Oh. My. Goodness. Perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection--it practically melted in my mouth. It's the kind of dish that ruins all other lamb for you because nothing else will ever compare. From the fresh, zesty tabbouleh to the silky hummus and warm, fluffy pita, every bite was heavenly. Even the baklava was a masterpiece, with just the right balance of sweetness and crunch. Beyond the food, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel like family. You can tell they take immense pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. Do yourself a favor and go here immediately. This isn't just a meal; it's an unforgettable experience. I'll be dreaming about that lamb until I come back (which will be soon)!p

The pita bread is really good, and served as a great appetizer while looking at the menu. I got the kebab combo dish, which came with chicken and lamb. The portion sizes here are pretty generous, and after eating so much of the starter pita, I became full very quickly. I'm not sure what the white sauce that comes with the kebab is called, but it's delicious and goes well with the kebabs and pita.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner -- we were welcomed with great friendly service and attentive care the whole night! They even let us bring a cake to store and cut after we finished our meal. Everything tastes great here -- I usually don't like lamb because it's too gamey for me, but their lamb here is so delicious and soft! My personal favorite was their dip appetizer though. The variety of dips for their pita bread was amaaaazzing. I always love coming here and this particular visit was no exception!

Came here on Thursday at 4:55pm before the atmospheric rain bomb came through. Parked in the parking lot across Washington street with the AMC theater on the far opposite side. Additional parking garage one block away next to Target, and two blocks away at the parking garage behind AMC theater/Whole foods. Place was empty, so they gave us a prime window seat in the auxiliary room, far away from the cold breezy entrance. Great ambiance with window views of Christmas decorations on Murphy Street. Overhead lamps of Middle Eastern heritage. Six pieces of complimentary delicious heated white bread with dipping oil. Ate those in no time, but declined offer of more bread. We order at 5:10 pm and our dishes come at 5:30pm Wife's $25.75 m'shakaleh comes with layers of sliced almonds, cooked mushroom, tomatoes, eggplant, cauliflower, tomato in an incredibly tasty sweet yogurt sauce. I ordered the $37.75 combo kebab with three kebabs in order of size: chicken the largest, lamb and kufta being the smallest . The largest of the kebabs was the 9" white breast chicken with almost no flavor, except for combining the spicy flavorful yogurt sauce from the M'shakaleh, which made an average dish outstanding. Loved the kufta which had minced lamb and beef with lots of onions, but only about 4' long The 7" lamb shank was OK, but hardly worth the $37.75, as on the bland side, until I mixed it with the yogurt sauce. Gave the medium rare center cuts to my wife. Given a choice, I would take beef kabobs next time. Dish came with fried brussel sprouts, but would have preferred cauliflower, tomato, and/or broccoli. We had our choice of basmati rice, freekeh, spiced potatoes, seasonal vegetables -we both choose freekeh, a wheat rice. Haven't been here since 2018. The m'shakaleh was $21 in 2018, and the combo kebab was $26 in 2018, now $37.75, up 50%! Cost us over $80 with tax and tip for two main entrees, one of which was vegetarian, without salad, appetizer, dessert, alcohol nor soft drinks. When we left at 6pm it was standing room only, with every seat in the two chamber restaurant taken. Only other packed restaurant on Murphy was Meyhouse Turkish restaurant across the street, with similar high prices, and even more ambiance.

Came back for a relaxing lunch. We had the Maza sampler for starters - super nice variety. I had the lamb salad, super big portion, with lots of flavor. I love the mansaf and it's super rich. The suneyet kofta was interesting. It was a baked dish with lamb, beef, herbs, peppers, potatoes, onions and tomatoes in the dish and came with rice. Do you pour it over the rice or add the rice to the dish? Your choice of course but we would try a different dish next time. We decided we would order the salad, the mansaf and one new dish and share it family style next time so we will definitely be back. Service was with a smile. Dessert was delish.

Cloth napkin casual Raul was our server I had the Beriani Dajaj Chicken and added Lentil soup with a mango yogurt shake. Chicken was tasty but dry Saturday at 5 so not busy This is their flagship restaurant and they have locations all over the bay area and most of them are their Dish N Dash fast casual concept. I met the owner sometime ago and he is passionate about his food and I think it shows in how good, and consistent the food is and how nice the staff is. Parking is not hard as there is a surface lot on the corner down the street. The restaurant is nice and cozy with dark colors. Staff are friendly. The place is clean and I love their vinyl weave flooring, sounds strange but you have to see it. This location is on Murphy which every time I have been there has been closed to traffic. They have a nice patio area under the trees.

Make a work function reservation for noon on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We were seated promptly. Service was good. Appetizer and entrees were delicious. I ordered the combo kebab. At first, I was worried that the chicken would be tough to eat but was surprised by the tender and flavorful meat! The mansef always has a nice presentation. So much food and we had to take doggie bags home.

Caleb is the man of the hour along with the man and woman who helped him out. Literally non stop service and literally the most respectful and attentive service too. Water pours almost whenever your cup is empty. Food. The largest portions. You really feel like you're getting your money's worth. I gotta say, the mansaf was amazing. Honestly everything was so flavorful. Not pictured is the sampler. Get it. The eggplant variety is amazing. The hummus is smooth, the yogurt was packed with a flavor profile that balanced out the hummus, and the babaganoush was beautifully sweet. Came here with a group of 9 for my wife's birthday and was just delighted to have the space ready, cake stored by the staff, they brought the cake out on a stand and even provided a cake cutting knife and serving knife. Hands down 5 stars for service and for food.

This restaurant is my absolute favorite in Sunnyvale! They have a dish called Shish Taouk which is heavenly! It's grilled chicken cubes with basmati rice with a garlic sauce and a mint sauce. It is served with Brussels sprouts. It's. 10/10 for me!!! I just tried their lamb shank today and it was fall off the bone FIRE!!! Their appetizers are delicious and they have this sampler platter. They usually start you out with warm pita bread with a plate of za'atar (?). Customer service is on point!!! Wendy, our server, was so friendly and attentive along with her support staff and Aidet, the manager, stopped by our table to check on us! The restaurant has an amazing decor and perfect for date nights and family outings. They even have an outdoor seating area that is pet friendly! You should check this place out !

Dish Dash is a true gem! The Turkish food here is absolutely excellent--every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh, flavorful sides, everything I tried was outstanding. The service was wonderful as well--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend Dish Dash to anyone who loves authentic Turkish cuisine and great service!

Yum yum yum! One of the best places to eat in the Bay Area. I also like their faster food option called Dish n dash but this location is higher end and more consistent quality wise. Flavorful and fresh dishes, amazing cocktails, soft and pillowy pita bread....you literally cannot go wrong ordering anything off this menu. I favor the mansaf dish (tender chunks of lamb with yogurt sauce and roasted cauliflower) or something with lamb shawarma meat but it is all amazing. Great for vegetarians too because they have falafel and the best roasted veggies around. Don't miss this spot!

Nice sit down middle eastern restaurant with fantastic food! I've been here a few times over the years and it's always a nice treat to eat here. I love getting the lamb Zahra. The meat is so tender and the yogurt sauce with the rice, lamb and cauliflower is so comforting and brings it all together. The suneyet kufta was fine but not quite for us. I highly recommend the baklava crumble for dessert! We mistakenly got the baklava intended for the table next to us and that was good too but we preferred the crumble with the gelato and honey drizzle. Service was both amazing and not. Our server was great and attentive. However, the people delivering food to the table next to us and our table was confused each time they came to our area. Multiple times, the person delivering food looks at us and looks at the next table, then looks back at us and seems to be waiting for one of the tables to acknowledge the food they're carrying. This happened 3 times with at least two different people. By the third time, the person was bringing baklava and asked me if we ordered baklava. He looked confused and I did not know what the baklava crumble looked like at the time so I said "yes, we ordered baklava." We ordered it verbally with our waiter when he took our order for the main course. When we said we wanted baklava, he asked if we wanted baklava or baklava crumble. We said let's try the baklava crumble but didn't know what to expect. We later found out we accidentally got the baklava our neighboring table ordered. Our server saw the mistake and still gave us our baklava crumble and didn't charge us for the baklava that was not intended for us. I appreciate that he didn't charge us even though I also made a mistake, not knowing what I ordered and we ate it. Usually, we're seated decently far away from other tables so when someone comes to deliver food, it's clear the food is for us. I don't know how often people misdeliver food here but I hope that was an anomaly. There's a lot of nearby parking garages and if you arrive between 9 am - 1 pm on a Saturday, there's the farmers market as well!

Just wow! This was my second time going here and I love love the food. Went during dinner time and the place was bustling! Got high table inside luckily. The ambiance is cozy yet not cozy, which i liked. The service was good. As soon as we sat, they got the complimentary bread and zaatar dressing, both so fresh and delicious. We ordered a Fattoush Salad with Feta and falafel. It comes with a mix of veggies greens and a pomegranate dressing. The zaatar chips on the chips and the falafel are to die for. Freshly made and extremely delicious. Felt Feta was not enough given we paid for it as an extra! We also got a hummus which we thought was not enough for $10.5 but it was so flavorful, loved the garlic in it. Overall amazing food will definitely go again. :)

Middle eastern food can be hit or miss for me, some places leave something to be desired. Dishdash, however, hit the spot. I came here on a rainy evening, and was greeted with warm lighting and bags to put my wet umbrella in. The waiters were prompt in serving my friends and I, and also answering questions they had since they're not too familiar with most of the dishes on here. I got a Tika Kebab, and was glad I could order it medium well without judgement (as an Indian person, I like my meat well cooked ). The kebab wasn't cooked perfectly and had a nice smokey flavor. The yogurt and mint sauce that came with my dish complimented it well. All of us got pretty big positions, that were quite filling -- just what I needed. I ordered a kunefe to go as well, and enjoyed it with my family at home. I don't usually enjoy kunefe, but the cheese in version was not too cheesy and overwhelming. The syrup provided also gave it a nice, almost rosy flavor. Overall, I really liked dishdash, and I'll be back next time in the mood for middle eastern food!

The food here tastes amazing, each sauce has a different flavor profile that makes the dish pop. The meats are moist and comes in a good portion. The wait staff were very friendly and always came around to check on us. Fantastic restaurant, will always consider this restaurant whenever I'm in the area

Love coming to DishDash for a nicer date night. The mains are reasonably priced, and the food is so flavorful. We want to try new dishes but always come back to the mansaf and beriani. Definitely recommend reserving ahead of time if you can - it gets packed. But service is always warm and attentive. The one time we waited a bit longer for containers, the owner came by and offered us a complementary dessert. Parking gets busy in the area, so save time to find a spot plus walk time. Always worth it.

4/5 Food Unlimited pita bread!! Make sure to get the maza sampler, it has six varieties of dips and all taste super yummy with the warm pita breads. Grilled kebab would highly recommend, especially the lamb (super soft and tender, chicken was a little dry). The braised chicken in Makloubeh was very dry so would not recommend. Although the food is good, I would say this place is quite expensive. Also note that portions are large enough to share Service 4.5/5 Service was good, waiter made sure to refill your pita breads when it's running low, may be a little hard to flag them down as they get quite busy. Ambiance 5/5 They have booths, tables, and outdoor dining. Located in downtown Sunnyvale so lots of people who come after work. Very nice place to just chill and talk.

Super chill and nice vibes in outdoor seating, and there are plenty of indoor seats as well. Our server was super helpful and out of the chicken dishes she recommended us the beriani djaj, which was a 200/10 decision. This was my fav dish yall. we picked it with basmati rice and it was so good w the yogurt sauce and chicken. I kept on finding new things in the dish every bite - they have walnuts, raisins, garbanzo beans, literally so much and everything blends in well. the yogurt dip was a perfect tangy appetizer and they give it to you with 8 warm pita pieces. The tikka kebabs were medium rare and SO tender. Wished we picked rice over freekeh tho..freekeh was good and healthy kinda like quinoa but the rice was just 300/10. Overall, surprisingly HEFTY portions. apparently the food is basically the same at the sister dish n dash locations, but just more casual

This place is hands down my husband and i's favorite restaurant. This place is like home even though the atmosphere is always so dark haha. The food is a taste of home cooking. We have added a new fan favorite- the baklava dessert. I'm usually only a chocolate girl, but this hands down melts in your mouth. The baklava honey is the perfect mix with their fresh vanilla ice cream. I recommend you try!

dined here for dinner because I was craving a well balanced meal + they had dog friendly outdoor seating! the restaurant itself is very nice; large tables with good service and nice ambiance. I appreciate how they have self serve sauces like garlic yogurt, chimichurri, and tahini. the menu is very easy to understand despite having options like base, sides, etc. portions are VERY large for a good dinner price. I got the chicken shawarma grill on a base of hummus, which came with extra pita! my family and I sampled each others plates and I loved how each plate had such a variety of flavors. overall excellent. so extremely flavorful, but I appreciate how you get a diverse array of ingredients + preparations of food. will definitely be coming back for a feel good, tasty dinner.

Really loved my experience at DishDash, the food was great and even better than the food was the service. We ordered the Maza Sampler and Mansaf to share, I was worried this wouldn't be enough food for two of us, but we were absolutely stuffed and couldn't even finish the Mansaf. We somehow miraculously ended up making room for dessert and absolutely loved their baklava crumble. The Maza Sampler was the perfect way to taste a bunch of stuff from the menu. There wasn't a single thing on here that I didn't like, though the khyar b'laban and babaganoush were my favorites, and I don't even normally like babaganoush. The Mansaf was good, though it was very rich for me personally. I'm not a big lamb eater, but my boyfriend absolutely loves the dish so I was happy to give it a try. I'd personally order something different next time, but that's just a personal preference. The dish was still very good. We stopped in on a rainy weekday evening without a reservation and were told it would likely be 45 minutes. We ended up grabbing a drink across the street while we waited, and were texted that our table was ready after about a 20 minute wait.

The food was really good! Whatever we tried was flavorful and well cooked. However, the kenefe was disappointing. It was too salty and wasn't tasting like a dessert. The service was pretty fast too, within 10 mins our food started coming out!

We used to always see huge crowds outside this restaurants and I'm glad we finally tried it! It wasn't that busy on a Sunday evening and we got our table right away. The dishes were top notch, they give good portions. We had ordered 2 entrees for 3 of us. The tabsi falafel was really good, I never knew you could mix curry and falafel with rice and it'll taste delicious. The mansaf was flavorful, lamb meat was tender and sliced almonds and Brussel sprouts alongside completed the meal. Cocktails were okay. The only thing is options are limited but I would rather go to a place with few options and good food than the opposite. Service was decent, they checked on us and gave free pita and spread on arrival. Interior is beautiful and they have outdoor seating too. It is on the pricier side but good food is guaranteed.

DishDash is nestled in South Bay's urban sprawl and surrounded by corporate headquarters and tech offices, making it a prime destination for Silicon Valley entrepreneurs on their lunch break. Surprisingly, my party of 10 snagged a last minute table for lunch today. I've actually heard of DishDash (not to be confused with the nearby restaurant, Dish N Dash, which one of my coworkers navigated to -- an accident that I'm sure has not happened the first time) in passing as my friend came here during one of her South Bay visits. DishDash is pretty decent. With the plethora of vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options, everyone's sure to find something suitable for their dietary needs. I had the Samakeh Sea Bass which was excellent. The fish was fork tender and immensely flavorful with its creamy sauce. The potatoes were a bit soggy on the bottom from soaking up the fish's moisture. I would have liked them on the side, but this may really just be a matter of personal preference as some like juicy potatoes. Overall, the food, service, and cleanliness were all up to par for a highly rated Yelp establishment. The prices are a bit high and the portions not very generous though.

My family really likes DishDash so we decided to try their takeout for a night in. Meze platter was very generous and fun to graze over while watching movies. Entree portion sizes are massive and they're all worth trying, DishDash uses delicious marinades and sauces for their meats.

If you're a vegetarian, you have to try their vegetable Shawarma with hummus and the red spicy dip. The combination is mind blowing, plus the creaminess and texture of hummus compliments the shawarma wrap really well. The portion is very good too.

Came on Saturday to try this spot since the reviews looked really good. We got seated outside really quickly, shady area and lots of seating both inside and outside. We got the shish kebab with spiced potatoes and the kufta kebab with rice. The meat was super soft and rice was seasoned and yummy as well. We also got the hummus to try and it was super good as well! They also give you unlimited pita bread. Very nice and attentive servers, and everything was reasonably priced. Huge plates and an appetizer for ~$80. Will definitely be back if i'm in the area!

We had dinner here to celebrate my dad's bday. Made reservations a few days beforehand. We ordered: Fattoush Salad: 5/5 really really fresh and tasty! Appetizer sampler: 5/5 I really enjoyed the babaghanous and hummus. The falafel had a nice crunch to it. Beef kabob: 5/5 very tender. This was a hit with the kids. Brussels sprouts were on point. Chicken kabob pretty good. Potatoes were good too. Mushroom pie: 5/5 i wasn't so sure about this one when it came out. It looks odd but it's super flavorful! Nice surprise. Lamb: 5/5 I normally don't like the taste of lamb but this one didn't taste like lamb at all. It is very similar to stewed beef.

Every time I come here I order the Mansaf and am never disappointed. The lamb is always perfectly cooked and the ambiance is nice. Pros - The Mansaf and Falafel balls - Portion sizes for entrees are pretty good - Their sauces are excellent, I enjoy the cilantro mint sauce the most - Ambiance is pretty good, I typically come here for dinner occasions Cons - Their cocktails are just okay The prices here are generally a bit more expensive so I would only come here for more notable occasions but luckily they have a fast casual sister restaurant Dish N Dash where they serve the most popular DishDash items at much more affordable prices so I would recommend that place as well, particularly the Cupertino location.

Incredible meal and service!! Came on a Friday evening and we were promptly seated outside with no wait. The complimentary pita bread with refills was delicious. Highly recommend the hummus as well. I had the shish kabob with spiced potatoes and got to try the kufta kabob with basmati rice. Both dishes were a 10/10!! Both meats were incredibly juicy and well seasoned and the rice and spiced potatoes were delicious. Even the asparagus on the plate was seasoned beautifully. Service was incredibly attentive, I would highly recommend!

Want on a sat. Night with a friend and had called to see if we needed a reservation, she said no for outside and we were 5 min away. When we got there, said we needed reservations! Oh well, We did get a table within 10 min, so not so bad! Our waiter was outstanding! Raul... was very nice, attentive and funny! Had the cubed chicken with basmati rice and the salad was to die for!

After a long time, we went back to the DishDash Sunnyvale location. It was a Monday evening, and because of the hot weather, most people preferred to sit inside, but a few outdoor tables were still available. We made it there during peak hours, like 6 PM. It was crowded, so we decided to sit outside. The service was very active and friendly. Of course, I ordered shawarma with Hummus and fatoush salad dressing on the side. Even though the dressing came on the side, the fatoush itself was very salty, so I decided not to use it. Chicken Shawarma with Hummus was good. Since this place serves fusion-style Mediterranean food, you can always ask for hot sauce separately. My friend ordered Beriani dijaj ( you can ask for replacement of the rice) We decided to have cold water with lemon, which was a perfect choice due to the warm weather. Now I was going to give 3 stars, but the 4th one is because of the excellent service. If you notice, outdoor tables are placed next to each other--so close that if you Don't like your food, you can grab a bite from your neighbor's table. Also, you want to talk and enjoy the food simultaneously instead of whispering to each other. If your neighbor is loud, just eat your food and leave as soon as possible. Now, my 2nd request to the owner or the manager is that you know the serving size of the platter, so how can you use the small table with low chairs? The serving is very good, but for two main dishes, one salad, two serving plates, and two cups of water, thank God we didn't order wine yet. The whole time, you were concerned not to drop a plate or glass. Can you please make our food and fun time less stressful? The food and price were reasonable. The server came a few times to remind us (not directly) that you ate your food. Please leave. Lol This review is to help them understand that these little things are preventable and hope things will improve in the future.

After coming here several times now, I must say this is a staple in the Silicon Valley for a nice meal with friends! Especially for occasions or visitors! Portions are big and the prices can range from $25 to $40 per person. Definitely get a reservation on the weekends! My group of 6 people were able to squeeze into a table just before the dinner rush at 5:30 PM. My favorite menu items are the Beriani Dajaj and Tika Kebab! Meat is always tender and balances with the veggies. Great quality of ingredients and everything is flavored perfectly. The portions are so big, I definitely recommend sharing and trying multiple dishes. Their hummus and babaganoush are also spectacular!

Amazing! My favorite dish is the pulled sumac chicken over a bed of hummus (best ever hummus here - creamy and perfect). I literally crave this food! This is the best, most authentic and fresh hummus I have had since being in Beirut Lebanon, which had the best food and ruined almost all Mediterranean food for me here because now I compare it all to Lebanon! Dish Dash has come the closest.

If you crave middle eastern food, Dish Dash is a great option in Sunnyvale. The restaurant had both inside and outside seating. The service was pretty good. I started off with the sambusak veggie, which is filo stuffed with spinach and eggplant. It was delicious. I then moved on to the maza sampler, that included hummus, babaghanouge, and tabouli. Each sampler was tasty. Next was the shish kabob, cooked to perfection. The lamb was juicy and delectable. Finally, for dessert, crumbled baklava over vanilla ice cream with Arabic coffee. Overall, a great experience.

I had not been to DishDash for years, and I was hoping it would be as good as I remembered. It was better! Wonderful food, excellent service, nice seating indoors and out! I was there with a friend for lunch on a Saturday when it was quite busy. We had a corner table (she made a reservation) and we both ordered the lamb shiskebab. Fantastic tastes, tender meat - really couldn't have been better. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive.

Walked over from the AMC, so convenient location for dinner and a movie. Started with the Maza sampler (falafel, Babaghanoush, tabouli, rihan, hummus and Muhammara) served with fluffy house-made pita. The best was the muhammara dip, slightly sweet and tangy. The hummus had a little kick but it was all good. We ordered the mansaf with freekeh and a combo kebab platter to share. The kebab platter was served over a basmati pilaf, the beef and chicken were very tender and served with a garlic paste. The star was the mansaf, very tender lamb in a turmeric yogurt sauce, my first time trying this dish. It made me want to try more middle eastern cuisine beyond the usual kebabs. The service was attentive and very friendly. 5 stars

DishDash Sunnyvale is another establishment we've been coming to for over a decade (almost two!). We first started coming here circa 2003, when I used to work in Mountain View. This was a stable for me and my posse from work. We used to all get the vegetarian platters for our lunch; all the appetizers from hummus, babaganoush, dolma, tabouleh salad, and much more were so tasty! One time, we came for dinner and discovered the beriani dajaj dish (a chicken beriani dish with a luxurious, creamy sauce); we've been in love since. From time to time, we'd get a craving, and drive 30 minutes down to Sunnyvale just to have this dish. This past week, I met up with my lunch crew from back in the day again, and we still enjoyed this spot so much. The vegetarian platter is no more, but they offer something very similar - the maza platter for two or four. The beriani daja, on the other hand, is still the same and still amazingly delicious! We also had the grilled chicken and that was quite tasty too, and something I'd get again. Pro-tip: We came on a weekday (Fri) for a late lunch (1 pm) and that was perfect. We didn't have to wait, and was able to easily find parking the lot across the street as regular lunch goers were on their way out! We'll be back!

This was the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten- mike drop! No but seriously, I took some business contacts here on a whim. It was raining so they had to move their outdoor reservations inside. They didn't know if they could make a spot for us but they were able to seat us at the bar. I was super thankful but I found myself thinking, how many reservations could they have on a Tuesday?Well I got my answer as the entire place place was filled up in 20 minutes. Despite how packed it was the service was impeccable, so courteous and helpful. The food came out promptly and was absolutely fantastic! I had the Mansaf, it was PERFECT. The meat was melt in your mouth. The basmati rice and gravy were so, so good. I loved the ambience, just so well executed. Thanks DishDash! Bravo

DishDash is a great spot for a quick lunch or family dinner. I enjoyed the combo plate with fire roasted chicken, and kofta, substituting rice for a fresh salad. The service was quick and efficient. Located on Murphy Street, it's perfect for dining, especially with live music on weekends!

This place is nestled in Historic Murphy avenue. There's several parking spaces and garage surrounding the restaurant. We came 1hr before closing. Doesn't matter because the food and service was definitely deserve a 5star. Kelsey was our amazing server we sat outside and she always checked on us. Good food and good service with extra attention deserves a 5stars all day. Highly recommended

Wonderful service! EXCELLENT food! Babaganoush is fantastic. Seasbass, greek salad. Spuced potatoes or basmati rice- you cant go wrong. Just perfect all the eat around- ambiance, service, food, price value.

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a mediocre experience. Parking is available on nearby streets, surface lots, or in parking garages nearby. Our table was ready at our reserved time. Dining was available indoors or outdoors on Murphy Ave with heaters. Staff was dressed in all black with some wearing a mask and disposable gloves. Service throughout the meal was cordial. Started off with the maza sampler with the pita bread and dip. The sampler had tons of options and was quite flavorful. The reyash lamb chops were requested medium rare and came out medium/medium-well...bummer. The dish was complemented with a side of peppers and mushrooms which were decent. This dish was even better on previous visits. The kenafeh dessert was decent. The rose water definitely helps out with the flavor for this dessert. ~$70/head after tax and gratuity for dinner.

I had an absolutely delicious meal here, with generous portion sizes and great flavor. Came in around 7 pm on a Tuesday without a reservation, and our party of 3 was seated immediately. To start we ordered the babaghanouge and tabouli, and were also served pita and a zaatar dip. The babaghanouge here is unique in that they add tahini to the dip, and I really loved the flavor of it and the pomegranate seeds on top. The tabouli was very fresh also. For entrees, we ordered the shish kabob, the tabsi kufta, and the mansaf. All were delicious and came out with giant portions (took around half of each portion home). The lamb in the mansaf was very tender and the yogurt curry complimented it well. It was especially good with a bit of the spicy sauce mixed in. The tabsi kufta also had a good flavor of roasted vegetables in the sauce, and the kufta itself was seasoned well. The shish kebab was served with a delicious mint sauce, and the brussels sprouts on the side were crunchy and flavorful. All of the food was incredible, and I can't wait to go back!

Really nice spot in downtown Sunnyvale. Came here with a couple friends and asked to be seated outside on our reservation which was easily done. Food portions were huge and food was flavorful. Loved the pita at the beginning of the meal. Service was good and loved the outdoor seating.

Overall great place to eat! Came down to downtown Sunnyvale with reservations. Ordered their lamb hummus, lamb shank, combo kebabs and curry lamb. The prices here are not cheap but the food quality is excellent. The kebab flavors paired excellent with the garlic sauce - highly recommend! The lamb shank was just Ok, quite mushy for my taste. Overall highly recommend!

Beautiful decor that added a warm lighting and fancy drapery. The assortment of dips in the sampler was amazing, from hummus to tzatziki to eggplant and creamy cheese flavors. The braised lamb was very tender. It is a fancier restaurant so be prepared to pay a little more than your average restaurant averaging about $30 a plate but the portion sizes are large so be prepared for left overs. Service was good but a little slow since they get busy for dinner.
