We came in today looking for a bottle of natural/biodynamic wine and met Will, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to guide us through the selection and recommend a few great bottles. The place is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is amazing, and the wine selection feels endless. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Division wines is legitimately my favorite establishment in Portland. From their bottle shop to the cheese and breads plates, unique recommendations, off menu options, and wine flights.. it’s always a good idea to go here. The owners are amazing and give remarkable service every time, and are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine. Every time I go I’m delighted and can’t wait to return.

Love this wine bar! This is my favorite wine bar in Portland. The staff are so wonderful. Will, the manager, is great and the rest of the staff are very attentive and helpful as well. During my many visits here, multiple customers have walked in and asked the service staff about their opinions on food pairings in order to purchase the correct bottle. The staff really knows their selection and are willing to help with your personal dinner and wine pairing needs as well as your backyard barbecue pairing needs. It’s so fun and such a cool, judgement free environment! Whatever level of wine appreciation you are at, this is the place that will make you feel comfortable. I always love having a ‘Dealers Choice’ wine flight, where I can tell the staff my normal style of wine and they bring me some really great options and things I haven’t tried yet. I always end up purchasing a couple bottles afterwards, but the staff never expects a bottle purchase. Staff here are always genuine, and they really love serving people, getting them what they want & need as well as having real conversations with guests. This place really brings out the diversity of the wine industry and they are so welcoming to anyone and everyone. When walking into the wine bar, 1/2 the place is a wine bar and the other 1/2 is a bottle shop. So great. A cool place you can walk in to have a glass of wine, a wine flight and a cheese/meat plate as well as simply purchase a couple of really great bottles of wine priced decently. They also locally source cheese, bread, butter etc… I’ve been a customer here for a few years now and even when it’s been months since I have come in, Will and other staff always remember me and they’re always so attentive, sociable and accommodating. I love love this place and could not recommend it more! Don’t pass this wine bar up.

I let the staff pick out a flight of 3 wines for me & got a perfect selection for my tastes. They were also possibly the most attentive servers I've ever experienced, who somehow managed to never once risk becoming obnoxiously hovering. I can't wait to go back!

I’m obsessed! Absolutely incredible wine & fantastic humans here. We love visiting Division Wines to have a flight (3 half pours for $18!!), a cheese board (best in the city!), soup (yes, really), salad, or pick up bottles of wine for special occasions (they are so helpful with finding the perfect pairings). This is the best spot for wine in town. And the food is fantastic too, so don’t sleep on it if you want a bite to eat with your wine.

This wine tasting experience with Division Wines was fantastic! Their staff were so knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. The combination of expertly paired cheeses, charcuterie, and fresh bread makes for a delicious and well-balanced platter. I have been to Division Wines a handful of times now with friends and my partner and it is by far my favorite wine bar to go to. The price is right, the selection rotates and their flights are the perfect amount of wine for me and I get to try new wines everytime I go there. Their food is also really great! This last time we got a dessert (Tiramisu), roasted beets with goat cheese, a veggie and lentil soup, some good ol bread and butter, and their salmon dip. All of it was so delicious! Nothing is ever just so-so. Always so delicious! They have a wonderdul bottle shop too I like to peruse while waiting for a seat. I've never waited more than about 20 minutes when it's been a little busier. Everyone is so knowledgeable about the wines and help me find great ones every time I've been. Would absolutely recommend to anyone interested. In the summertime I liked sitting outside and playing small board games. Great place to go and inside is very cozy.

This is my favorite wine and charcuterie place in all of Portland. Everyone who works here is very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Went here with my boyfriend last night. Hadn't been here in so long. I always enjoy the wines that I had here. Last night it was the Gamay that I loved! Nice owner and service and great charcuterie boards. It does get a little loud in there but other than that I love this place.

Division Wines is the perfect neighborhood winery, with a very generous selection of bottles. Their flight is the best way to experience three different pours for only $18! A great deal! Pair with a charcuterie board or even a bread and butter offering for an enjoyable outing.

Went here for girls meetup. It was really popular. There was wine, there was charcuterie, and there was more wine. The server was really superb with suggestions. It is a lively spot for wine and people watching. All ages seem to come here and I enjoyed that. Good place to sip some wine and have some delicious snack

I drive by here twice a week and it always looks so cozy and inviting. So yesterday I decided to stop in and have a glass of wine and a bite. There is a bar area in front of the big windows which was perfect lighting for reading. I ordered a glass of the Chardonnay and the beet and goat cheese salad. It was heaven. Service was friendly and very attentive. This could be a new Tuesday after work stop for me.

We stoped in here to grab a few bottles for a dinner party. We ended up having a glass of Gamay, from France, that was amazingly smooth and delicious. Then we had to impulse buy this Pet Nat as well. Yummm They also serve food here.

The place was PACKED on a Thursday night but the staff, specifically Gerald, was super nice in keeping us informed and making the wait go by easily. We got seated and had a flight of three wines of our choice from the list for $18. What a deal! We also had the Meat and Cheese Board, Spread Board, and Mixed Olives. All were tasty. The selections of cheeses and dips they provided were so unique and tasty. We definitely had a marvelous time. Their ambience is cozy and casual, yet romantic. Perfect for a date or a hangout with your wine-lover friends.

I've been coming here for years and just love it. The staff is so friendly and love to help you pick out the perfect bottle. I also love that they have gluten free dining options. Their sidewalk seating is my favorite but the atmosphere inside is great too. Definitely a jewel of division street!

I live this wine bar. The few times I've been to Portland I have gone there. They are great. They try to find exactly what you like for your tastebuds. Live this place. Will always visit whenever I'm in Portland.

We came across Division Wines by accident. It's a wine bar with a retail shop. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got a wine flight (select 3 wines from the list). The pours were generous and the wine was very good. I ended up buying two of the three wines which were reasonably priced. I would definitely come back.

Unfortunately, I live about 30 minutes from Division Wines or I would be there nightly. It is my all-time favorite wine bar. Great staff and great atmosphere.

They offer a limited set of food and wines. * Specialty wine: We were able to find Walter Scott wine, but could not find elsewhere even at Wine Shops. * Service: Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt despite one person manning the whole place.

One of my all time favorite spots in Portland. Ambience is 10/10, but the wine, snacks, and staff are somehow even better. We stop in whenever we can for a flight. This is a must-stop place in town.

The best wine spot in Portland! Delicious food, really great wine selections, a wonderful wine flight deal, and amazing service. One of our favorite spots on Division. Essential neighborhood spot! Big glass windows make the inside feel spacious.

5 stars: The wine flights and dip spread were great. Solid service in explaining the wine choices. Nice ambiance. Nice people. 1 star: The bill came and included the 4 bottles of wine I ordered to take home. Which is fine. The problem is that the bill added the 4 wine bottles in terms of the expected tip amount. Really the tip needs to be on the two wine flights and the dip spread only. However the tip amount suggestions (bottom of the bill for different percentages) included the 4 bottles of wine which should have been on a different bill to designate that it's a retail sale versus a food sale. My fault that I did not catch this. In hindsight I should have just left tip on the two wine flights and dip spread but not also on the 4 bottles of wine which were noted as Custom 1 and Custom 2. Again, my fault that I did not catch this. I am writing this so that others don't make the same mistake I did and to just be aware. Again, it's a great place to have wine and small plates. Just wished the bill separated the food sale from the retail sale (4 bottles of wine).

Come here. Super friendly service and delicious wine. All at really reasonable prices. I got a flight and just had the waiter decided based on what I said my preferences were. Was super pleasantly surprised that the pours in the flight were substantial! I liked that they have featured Oregon wines and chilled wines in addition to the standard menu.

I had the delight to make the acquaintance of Division Wines last Sunday. I wanted to go wine tasting with my friend Erin, instead of heading out to wine country, she suggested this place. I arrived a little early and I had time to check out how cute this place is. I noticed there's a retail side and the super cute bistro, wine sipping side. This adorable little boîte is owned by a charming husband and wife duo named Danyelle and Will Prouty. Danyelle arrived shortly after I sat down and brought with her a menu, glass of water and a carafe of water. I let her know that I was meeting 2 girlfriends and thanked her for the water, which I sipped and studied the menu as I wanted for my friend's. The longer they took to get there the hunger I got! Well, hallelujah! My girl Eric showed up and luckily for me, she is a regular there. I told her my thoughts on what I was thinking of ordering and she said "perfect, that's what me and Karen order every time." The hunky guy from the kitchen took our food order and Danyelle took our drink order. To drink we ordered a bottle of chilled bubbly, I Clivi "RBL" Ribolla Gialla, Vevezia, Giulia, Brut Nature, IT. Does that sound fancy? Good. Because we are a a couple of belle ragazze fantasiose. We saw eye to eye on food too. Our hunky guy returned shortly with a beautiful piatto di carne, piatto di formaggi, salsa al salmone, e insalata caprese. Everything was incredible. So good in fact that I would be willing to leave my bubble of my downtown comfort zone to return again. Next time I'm taking an Uber so I can drink more and not have to fuss with parking. The staff and the wine are so great!! The selection is superb and the suggestions are top notch! Came in on a whim and loved this place. The ambiance is cozy and they have some delicious sounding snacks.

Smaller than I imagined but there is outdoor seating. Lots of fun bottles to peruse and a great selection of by the glass.

Looking to try some wines from the Portland area, I had found Division Wines in my search for wineries in the area, so my partner and I decided to go check it out. First off, Division Wines not only is a wine bar, but it has a large selection of wines for people to purchase in their market. These wines include wines from all over the world. I can imagine that if I lived in the area, this would definitely be a stop to pick up a bottle for dinner! Along with the market, there is a bar and some small table seating for a glass of wine or for a flight. The flight includes 3 glasses of wine of your choosing from their wine list. My partner and I sat down at the bar and perused the menu. While this happened, the one person who was working was helping out a customer who had questions about their bottles of wine. Once the bartender came to us, he was incredibly nice and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. We opted for wine flights, and I had asked the bartender for some of his favorites. I ended up getting an Oregon white wine, a Hungarian white wine, and an Italian red. All were good and unique. After our wines were poured, the bartender left to empty some boxes of wine throughout our experience. He would check in periodically asking "how are you guys doing?" but then would continue emptying boxes. Although I am sure it's his job, we had just wished he was around more because he was so knowledgeable about the wines and we wish we could have talked to him more, especially since we were the only ones at the bar. In general, this was a cool spot, especially if you live locally to pick up unique bottles of wine. I just wish there was a little more of a vibe and interaction with staff while we were there.

Very relaxing environment to sample some wine, eat some cheese, and visit with someone special. Staff are very friendly although service was quite slow. I think best to come in with time to enjoy and just linger longer.

There's a reason this place has 5/5 stars Came here on a Sunday night with a girlfriend and was honestly so surprised at the great service, wine knowledge, options and food We both started with wine flights (so reasonable for $16 a flight of 3), you can build it on your own with help from the staff. We ordered olives and a cheese board (delicious) as well as ended the night with mulled wine (amazing) Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back - also huge wine shop selection if you're coming in for picking out wine and not staying for dining/drinking

It's unanimous - absolutely no division here. This is a great wine by the glass or by the bottle establishment. Very knowledgeable staff who are excellent and welcoming. Had a 3 flight tasting, a glass of a delicious BIG red and an awfully fresh and tasty caprice salad (August being the time of all things tomato). Got a couple bottles to go from the wines in our tasting. Happy Happy!

Five stars in ambience, friendly and helpful service and for the fact that they have mulled wine. It was a cold and blustery day and I scoured Yelp for a place that had mulled wine... and ta da! Division wines came through. It was so zesty and the spices were perfect. We sat at the bar which had lovely twinkle lights and were taken good care of by both bartenders. I would love to come back for a wine tasting as everything sounded delicious.

Met up with a friend for a few glasses of wine and what a pleasant experience we had. The service was great, the ambiance was inviting and later in the evening they lit tea candles. Kudos to the team they are doing a great job. Additionally, we ordered the meat and cheese board and the food was great!

My coworker introduced me to this spot and you know it's a good time when you leave with 1/2 a case of wine each. The wine room is intimate, and it has a wine shop too. I've returned many times since for unique and delicious glass pours from local to international makers. They don't have a large food menu but you can't go wrong with their meat and cheese board or the daily soup. Bread is from Little T's so IYKYK - if not, you need to know. Tip: They have the best mulled wine in the colder months and it's a must!

Had a lovely night out at this spot with my wife. They have a great wine selection, friendly service, tasty food, and the the perfect ambiance. They allow you to split wine glasses in half for tastings and they have the usual wine flights. They have wines from all over the region and world, with something for everyone. Looking forward to coming back for more.

Great hours, food was delicious! The service was friendly and timely. We went out on a sunny day and were able to get a table in the sun. Perfect midweek date with my husband.

Busy place but really great wine and the cheese boards were really good! We got a Pinot Noir flight which was really lovely.

My favorite and go to place in Portland. Great wine selection, light dinner, and wonderful staff and owners. It is also really easy to stop by solo and just relax. The owners are kind, wonderful people, and you are welcomed by name after just a couple of visits. One hundred stars.

Division Wines is one of my favorite places in Portland. Every time I stop in, I'm greeted by the best staff and reasonable prices for delicious wine. Staff is great at giving recommendations and the pours are on the heavier side. Don't skip out on their food menu; charcuterie boards are fantastic, and they usually have a homemade soup on special. I will say that some of the best desserts I've ever had were from Division Wines. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I come here every single time I'm in Portland. I just love the atmosphere. They're super knowledgeable and committed to giving you a wine you'll enjoy. You can't beat the flight. You'll have a choice between local and international wines. The Chacuterie is also amazing so be sure to hang out and spend some time in this spot!

Staying nearby and decided mri try this place for dinner and taste some local wines. Did not disappoint. I ordered a wine flight, the spreads, and the marcona almonds. My flight consisted of Shiba Wichern Van Duzer Havlin Vineyard Auxerrois , Red Oregon wine of the day (pinot noir), & sangria. All went well with the food. Then vibe is low key, drink and eat what you want. You can buy a bottle from the store and enjoy with or without food. I bought an extra bottle of the Auxerrois to enjoy back at home.

Truly a wine shop with something for all. No pretentious atmosphere here, only proficient wine professionals. Whether you're new to wine or seasoned, with a tight budget or no cost limit, they will have a bottle, or two, to satisfy your search. I have always received personalized guidance and suggestions from the incredibly knowledgable staff. Their domestic and international selections are diverse and unique and they also carry organic, biodynamic and female-made wines. I've seen the tastings going on as of recent and have yet to get to enjoy but it's definitely on my list! There's no doubt in my mind that it would be as delicious and diverse as their bottle selection.

This place was great! My husband and I each got a flight of wines to try and a cheese board. The food and wine were both delicious :) the whole staff was amazing too, very nice and knowledgeable. This place is also great for People watching whether you're inside or outside.

I am totally coming back here! The wine portions are very generous and they let us sample some wines as well! The staff was kind and definitely knowledgeable about the wine and food. The bites were great and the ambiance was lovely! Very moody and sophisticated. 10/10 recommend!!!

Division wine is an adorable little wine store. Plenty of bottles to choose from to take home, or enjoy in the store. To the left there is a small area with a bar & seating to enjoy some wine and snacks if you choose. They have many wine glass options as well as flights of wine- 3 tastes for 14$ . We were fortunate enough to be poured wine by Garrett. He was so welcoming & friendly, poured us some great wines and fixed us a yummy cheese plate all in a cozy atmosphere. I'll be sure to add this spot into my Portland rotation of places - there's always room for wine. Cheers .

Love this local wine bar! Cute outdoor seating area on both the side and in front. We were heading to dinner after our visit, so we stuck to some light snacks - olives and the three dips. They were super fresh and tasty. You can make your own wine flights of three - great pours for a flight and good wines for reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our time!
