"Buffalo’s two most iconic culinary staples—chicken wings and beef on weck—collide at Doc Sullivan’s. They’ve created jumbo beef on weck wings that come glazed in a creamy horseradish sauce and finished with the same flaky salt and caraway seeds that top a kummelweck roll. You should also prioritize their signature Smitty wings, too—these are exceptional hot wings with a zesty, peppery punch from their secret sauce. photo credit: James Pici photo credit: James Pici photo credit: James Pici" - David Neimanis

"There are two wings of distinction at Doc’s. First are the beef on weck wings. These wings take their inspiration—and name—from a classic Western New York sandwich of roast beef on a kummelweck roll. Second are the Smitty wings, which are Doc’s spin on the traditional Buffalo wing." - ByAlana Pedalino

My wife and I went here on a Friday. We started with Hamburg Irish Red Ale to start. The beer was very delicious. We then had bacon ranch corn street dip. The dip with chips was very good. The portion was enough to serve 4 people. Please note that this dip is only on the summer menu. I had the fish fry with fries. The fish meat was very tasty but too much for one person. I should've ordered a half serving lol. The fish fry is only served on Fridays. My wife had the Black and Bleu burger. It was cooked to her request and the burger was the right size. The atmosphere is very relaxing and perfect for unwinding with groups of friends and/or family. And it's perfect for watching sports like local teams like the Buffalo Bills and/or the Buffalo Sabres.

Google
Man what can I say, the food there was excellent the service that was excellent had a burger and fries the burger just tastes like a burger that you would make make at home the only thing that I didn't really care for was the blue cheese I love blue cheese by I didn't like. The service there was solid the people there were phenomenal and if you're in the Boston area and you want good wings go to this place and not the other place I won't say the name but I will just say the wings were supposedly where what we know as buffalo wings were founded. Go to doc Sullivan's for great wings in Buffalo

Google
Fantastic bar that seemed to have a great local crowd. Went in late Sunday night with a large party being out of town and they took phenomenal care of us. Food was fantastic for a bar the wings were money, drinks were handmade and the server was a true mensch

Friends came in from the capital district area to experience what this great city of Buffalo has to showcase for chicken wings. Went to six places back to back to back etc… in one day. The atmosphere is great. The staff was amazing. Per a recommendation from a patron at Gene McCarthy’s to get the “smitty” wing here we took their suggestion. The wings were juicy. Crispy. Tender. The flavor of the smitty is unlike any other. It had a cumin kinda flavor vibe going. I wasn’t a fan of it. It definitely was interesting. I’m sure people love it. I’ll have to go back for medium. Blue cheese was standard. I will be going back to try a different flavor.

Finally decided to try this Buffalo icon and I was not impressed. There was a bad aftertaste in the wings that couldn't figure out what it was until a regular told me that they used peanut oil and it could be that. I got the try summer special where you have to pick three flavors of wings. I went with mild medium and spicy garlic. The blue cheese was missing chunks of blue cheese. The only star of the show was a friendly staff. The service and I must say mozzarella sticks were fantastic. Major cheese pull....

Google
Good food good beer good hard cider. Small tables with large centerpieces. Fits 2-3 comfortably. Back of the house is on it. Sports bar with character. Portions are perfect for the price. Saw a nacho plate, frigging huge guy! Mil discount with id potentially, not verified.

Google
I had a really good experience at Doc Sullivan’s. The place was slammed but it didn’t stop the bartenders from having a good time and messing with everyone at the bar. Also some of the best wings I’ve had in a minute. Buffalo is known for the “Beef on Weck” and wings. Doc’s had the brilliant idea of pairing the two together. The wings were a perfect size with the perfect ratio of crispiness and wetness. The sauce was super flavorful.

Google
The water was horrible, so we decided to switch to lemonade and that to was bad. Burger was fair would have been better if the bun wasn't cold and maybe grilled/ toasted. Wings were fair... But the homemade Blue Cheese dressing.... 🔥🔥🔥 It gives me a Irish sour cream feel. It was great with the fries. We came for the beef on weck, but they were out of it 😞. The Bar itself looks fun and I'm sure it's exciting during football season.

Yelp
When you are in Buffalo, you ought to try the Buffalo Wings. We searched internet to find the best wing places - but Doc Sullivan's stood out with their impressive array of options. This is located in the South Buffalo's Irish Heritage district. We found a street side parking nearby. Stopped during post-lunch hours. Wasn't crowded. Great set up. decors resonating the Irish culture. Amazing ambiance to start with. We started with 15 Wing trio with Buffalo, Nashville Hot and Medium. Also ordered a few burgers & sandwiches - Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Roasted Red Pepper chicken, Beyond Burger, Grilled Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Finger Wrap, Smitty Chicken Sandwich and Nashville Hot Chicken. Wings were so good, freshly made and so delicious. Loved the flavors we ordered. One of the best wings I recently had - perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Coming to the burgers and sandwiches - they were really impressive - especially the Smitty and Jamaican jerk chicken. All the burgers/sandwiches served with tons of chips on the side, made them more than adequate for the entire group. We couldn't even finish it. Loved the hospitality of this place. They were attentive and available. The service was quite fast. A wonderful place to have quality food and to spend time with friends & family!

Yelp
When in Buffalo New York...all I could think about was Buffalo Wings! Someone recommended Doc Sullivan's to my husband and we decided to check them out when we were in town. We ordered the Buffalo Wings and two big ditch hayburners! The bar was pretty busy as there was a local hockey game on. Service was great and fast especially for how busy they were! The wings were good size and went great with our beers! I would definitely recommend Doc Sullivan's while in Buffalo!

Yelp
Feels like we maybe came on an off day not sure. The bar tender was the only worker so service was very slow for what we ordered around 3pm and there wasn't anybody in there really. I ordered the pb and j burger (which I didn't get) and received their house burger. It was just okay not a lot of flavor and an absurd amount of cheese it was kind of wild. We ordered wings which were cooked to perfection nice and crispy! The BBQ was good but their doc style mild was just weird. I can't put a finger on it but I didn't care for the sauce for some reason. Prices weren't bad and overall the place had a fun Buffalo bar vibe. I'd come back again to try other stuff for sure!

Tim A.

Yelp
Idc how the food comes out, been waiting for it for about an hour now. Smells like ur classic Irish pub.

Kelsey K.

Yelp
Stopped in on our way up to Canada and it was so worth it. Amazingly crispy wings (Smittys style) in a Buffalo sauce "with extra secret ingredients". Idk what the extra ingredients were but it was fire. Highly recommend! Homemade blue cheese isn't as "funky" tasting as your typical Ken's dressing but we just loved it. Servers were nice and welcoming also.

Jason H.

Yelp
Portions were big, the wife and daughter raved about the Mac n cheese. Good beer selection. Parking was a challenge. Burgers were good, however they did forget to add bacon to my son's burger. All in all I'd recommend.

Jenniffer M.

Yelp
It was a very busy bar area. A lot of local people come through for the drinks and food. I honestly had great wings. I just wish the service was better. Our food was fresh, and we knew it would take time. We were there maybe an hour and a half waiting for food. Overall, the food itself was good. Not amazing but it was alright to satisfy the craving.

Jess D.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp as we were driving through Buffalo and looking for wing places to eat. I knew immediately that the wings were going to be good just from looking at the pictures but they were better than good, something of GREATNESS! The service was a little suspect for the place not to be crowded, but the wings were so good it didn't even matter! 12/10!!!! I'm a chicken wing connoisseur so when I tell you they were 12/10 believe me. I forgot the cook's name but I had him come to our table just to tell him how good he prepared the wings! I will be back!!!

Christine S.

Yelp
The quality of the food is excellent. Easily the best wings I've ever had-lots of meat, perfectly cooked, right amount of sauce. I would prefer a blue cheese sauce with a looser consistency. Beef on wreck also delicious-well cooked, lean and the roll was perfect. Even the salad-nice chunks of bleu cheese, house made dressing, etc. Service was attentive and food came together fast enough, given the high quality. Seems like it would be a great place to catch a Bills game.

Yelp
Great South Buffalo Bar with good vibes and food. Employees are very friendly and know how to take are of the customers. We went because we heard their wings and burgers are excellent. We also tried the mac and cheese - this is shareable. Starting with the mac and cheese - awesome with lots of cheese and it's burnt a little on top which makes it. We order wings and fingers. Hubby can't eat wings while he has dental surgery going on. He order the beef on weck sauce and I order the 40 sauce on my wings. Unfortunately, they put the sauces on the wrong order. That is why they got 4 stars. But they made it up and sent us the order correctly. Both sauces were excellent and need to come back to try other ones. They did make good on their mistake and gave us a free drink and gave us the incorrect order to take home. Best place on customer service. You need to come here and support them and try some awesome food.

Brian S.

Yelp
Wonderful food and ambiance in this South Buffalo classic. Sandwiches and burgers cooked to perfection. Wings are solid, tried both the medium and dry rub Cajun. Crispy and just enough heat. Nice selection of beers on tap, Guinness always a winner. Service was attentive.

Yelp
Headed to So Buffalo for some wings in a Friday night. The first place we walked into was packed so we decided to try Docs as a backup. Ordered twenty medium and 20 of their recommended " smitty" wings, as well as some other finger foods. Big big mistake. We should have waited the hour or so at the original choice. The medium wings were very rubbery and bland. i cannot describe the " smitty wings at all. The pungent sauce was like nothing we've ever exp. Absolutely inedible. Five of us didn't even finish the 20 and no one took the leftovers home ( and we are not picky) . Pizza logs, mozzarella sticks and poutine were fine but unexceptional. All in all a disappointing evening. Service was typical bar service.

Esther V.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch in our way back home from Niagara Falls. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The wings were the best we have had! The chicken sandwich was amazing. If ever in this neck of the woods we will come again. We are originally from California.

Amy M.

Yelp
The 40 sauce wing was the crowd favorite during our wing tour! The Smitty wing medium was a little hot, the beef on wick was very horseradish flavor but overall great experience, bartender very attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was a solid Irish bar with great decor and shuffle board!

Natacha G.

Yelp
Love this place, the food and drinks are always great. The service is fast and attentive. The atmosphere is cool as well, perfect bar and grill with a family feel.

Courtney U.

Yelp
Best bar in the world. Great labatt blue don't get the coors they will throw you out. Bathrooms are extremely clean, and the staff is really friendly towards out of towners.

Yelp
Can I give 6 stars? We were traveling through Buffalo and my wife said we should get some wings. I told her they would just be the same as we get anywhere but she insisted so I got online and started searching. Doc Sullivan's is an Irish pub in an Irish area and we love pubs like that anyway and had to get some Guinness to drink. Got maybe the best, crispiest wings I ever had and they and the fries were piping hot. We got dry with two different sauces for dipping, she got hot buffalo and I got the hot 40, they were both awesome. I saw the sever bringing a wedge salad by which looked so good I stupidly ordered one. It was great but most of it went in a to go box as there was so much food, they give you a huge basket of fries! It's a simple Irish pub but the service was great and food awesome!

Wing Kings O.

Yelp
Another one of the top dogs was up next on the Wing King's toup; a trip to the doctor and a prescription for Southie Gold -- Doc Sullivans. "Walkin' 'round talking' 'bout wings like we ain't got none. What you think we sold 'em all?" This place is a sure bet - when an out-of-towner asks you where to find "good wings" you can send them here and they won't be disappointed. Sully's PhD (presumably in Wingery) is paying off. Sauce: 4 / 5 Specialty wings were outstanding - BBQ, garlic and Southy gold. Medium, which, fair or not, is the focus of our scoring, was just good and maybe a touch vinegary. Meat: 5 / 5 Good sizing, meaty wings without too much grizzle. The weighting on this metric now seems to be a cause of disagreement among the wing kings. Stay tuned for an upcoming change to the scoring rubric. Cook: 4.5. / 5 Great double application of sauce, but it made for some dryness at the tips. Any dryness, even if it's just the tip, just for a minute, counts. Diagnosis? Delicious! Final score: 13.5 / 15 Still rocking' our khakis with a cuff and a crease.

Morgan D.

Yelp
Food is always good and consistent! One of my top fav wing spots in Buffalo and the french onion soup will always be my #1 fav

Stephanie T.

Yelp
We got wings, nachos, Mac and cheese, and a beef on weck. The service was great and the food was even better! We would definitely come back if we are in Buffalo again!

Madhav M.

Yelp
Food was very good, burgers and wings were made with effort for sure and looked very professional. Meals were also very filling. Only needed to order one burger for myself because of the size and the fries it came with on the side. Service was also amazing, people who worked there were very concerned with our experience and helped order food. Ambience was also nice, decor and lighting helped enhance mood. Overall good restaurant.

Bruce R.

Yelp
Had to stop for lunch. Barely remember the last time I was there. Wings were amazing, x-hot did not disappoint. Can't figure out why, but I'm not a huge fan of the blue cheese, a little thick maybe...? The wife's burger was legit. Ample portions and decent prices. Wednesday $5 burger was the same size as regular burger but without the side of fries. Comes with "smash sauce" aka 1000 Island dressing. But a screaming deal!

Heather A.

Yelp
Delicious wings! My husband cannot stop talking about the Cajun wet wings. I had a Jamaican jerk chicken wrap which was a little bit too spicy for me but prepared well otherwise. Fun atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

Michael R.

Yelp
Nice old local bar with the tin decorated ceiling! Clean, simple and comfy! One of the top 3 fish fries I've had ! Five of us got the fish fry, post lent so no wait! We all loved it! A perfectly cooked fish, good size, nice and crispy, not greasy , flaky and delicious!!! Came with macaroni salad, coleslaw and good crispy fries that were great too! Service was great, came around the right amount of times to refill drinks but not pestering! Will definitely return soon!

Darren F.

Yelp
Never would have thought to stop into an Irish place for the best wings in Buffalo, but damn. They were amazing.

David B.

Yelp
Service was spotty, which I suppose was a good thing since our waitress was quite unpleasant. We asked for extra crispy wings, but the came out rubbery. Yuck. The medium wings tasted so much like cloves they were almost inedible. The spicy parm wings had a nice flavor. The third order - not sure what they were - had a ¼ inch thick spicy spackle that was so off-putting we only ate 3 of the 10 we ordered. The blue cheese dressing was thin like ranch dressing and tasted nothing like blue cheese.

Dominic C.

Yelp
Alysa is the best bartender around! And try the Doc's Burger you won't be disappointed!

Jessica S.

Yelp
I had discovered this place when researching places to eat and we stopped in directly from our 6 hour drive. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were told we would need to order everything through the bar since it was after a certain time but someone came to us and helped us at a time which was really nice. The nachos looked amazing on Yelp pictures and we wanted to try wings and pizza logs. Everything was so delicious! I knew I'd be the only one eating nachos, it was a huge portion and worth what I spent to try them. I've been craving pizza logs since we've returned from our trip and the wings were my favorite that we tried in Buffalo. I am partial to buttery wings which these were so I was a little biased but you can't go wrong with them. We had a nice table by a window and it had started to snow hard as we pulled in to town so it was a beautiful view. It looked as if it would be a both fun and laid back place to have a drink and hang out for the night. I really wish we could replicate this establishment back home! 10/10.

Genna C.

Yelp
Food was delicious! I shared the PB&J burger with a friend and I highly recommend that dish to anyone going to eat here. Half the taps were broken because the refrigeration was not working, so hopefully next time we are in they'll be fixed. But I recommend for a good pub experience.

Evan F.

Yelp
Group of friends from Cleveland decided to go all-in on a weekend tour around Buffalo, of the Wing Trail restaurants. This was stop #5. Definitely a local bar hangout where folks come to watch their sports and get their eats and drinks on. We felt the need for carbs along with this round of wings, so we ordered both mac-n-cheese and fries along with our order. Their mac-n-cheese was made with spiral pasta and appeared to be backed for a final crispy topping to the dish. The fries we ordered were called 40 fries and might have been everyone's favorite dish on the entire trip! The crispy fries were topped and coated with a buttery mix of Italian style seasonings and garlic and everyone sopped that garlicky sauce up like it was the last thing on earth. Truly heavenly!!! For our wing platter, we ordered 10 Smitty style wings (their own signature blend of a more traditional Buffalo style sauce and a mix of buttery spices...and the higher up you go in heat levels the less of the Smitty seasoning is present (so we ordered medium) and 10 beef on weck wings. The Smitty style wings were tasty, but the beef on weck seasoning mixed into a tangy, creamy style wings sauce was totally unique and delicious! Would definitely order them again. We all love that the wings in Buffalo are really crispy (something we rarely get back home), and these were no exception.

Pamela K.

Yelp
Food here is phenomenal. The burgers and wings are truly amazing. You will not be sorry you had a meal here.

Mary Pat B.

Yelp
Never going back over changed our bill by 30.00 and Evan after discussing it with the waitress she only gave back 14.00 Crying shame local place never going back and we had a party of 10. Not to mention the extra 10.00 for paying with a card If I could it would absolutely be zero stars

Christian M.

Yelp
Took the family back to Buffalo on vacation and found this place. Great wings and super friendly service. My kid loved the poutine. Street parking can be tricky but we got lucky with the spot right in front of the entrance. Much better prices than the places in the touristy areas and great local vibe.

Ryli C.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now and am looking forward to going back. Typical Irish pub vibes. The PB&J burger is my absolute fave there. Highly recommend!

Sabra R.

Yelp
Quick service and awesome fish fry. Large piece of fish that was crispy outside flaky and moist inside. Sides were house made macaroni salad, coleslaw and crispy fries. Sides were good and very fresh. Will definitely return to try 5he great looking burgers!

Lawrence F.

Yelp
Stopped in with family from Lexington Kentucky and in-laws for lunch. We were all glad we did. Seven of us in and we all ha something different. Food was excellent from the Rueben sandwich, French Onion soup, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches. Service was indeed very, very good. Nice Irish pub style atmosphere. Huge portions of food and ice cold Guinness beer. What's not to like. We're all looking forward to returning in the future. We would definitely recommend this establishment to everyone.

Amanda C.

Yelp
This was our first time here as we are from Texas and the food was great; had pizza logs and beef on wreck burger! The bartender did an excellent job waiting on us and they had my fav drink of watermelon Red Bull, deep eddy lime, and cranberry juice. The ambiance was that of a down home Irish bar. If I am ever back up here I will come back.

Robin J.

Yelp
We waited over an hour for 2 fish dinners. The kitchen was not busy at all. The waitress never checked on us. The bar was full of people yelling over each other. I ordered broiled fish, it was watered and definitely not broiled. .y boyfriends fish was burnt. The pasta in the .ac salad was sticky and under cooked. Terrible!! No stars!!

Esh W.

Yelp
Cool dive bar. We came for our friend's birthday so there were a lot of us. We got a table as soon as we came in. It's very busy there so it's hard to call ahead for anything. I'm not sure if they take reservations. They have a nice beer selection and a full bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and well made. Everyone we encountered was friendly which was great. Also, it was nice that we specified it would be separate checks in the beginning and there were no issues with that. That was was total plus. Food sent to the table: I loved that our server warned us that everything will be coming out at different times. We were cool with that, but it's also nice to have that notification. They no longer turn any sandwich into a flatbread so the only flatbread they have is the buffalo chicken bacon ranch. Which tasted good. I took 2 fry from each of my friends' plate and those were good. A few people got the Doc's grilled cheese which comes with bacon and tomato. It looked perfectly grilled and my friends enjoyed that. Beef on weck is a buffalo staple and apparently that was good too. One friend ordered mild wings and there was no sauce in them. Those were not good. So they ended up ordering some BBQ sauce for the side. I got hot southie gold wings (I asked them to mix the hot sauce and southie gold sauce). It ended up being a hot honey mustard. Soooo good. The bathrooms aren't the best. But it's a dive bar so, be mindful of that. Other than that, the place is cool. They have shuffle board. And they also have a back area available for private events.

Yelp
Well, let me tell you a little story! My wife and I are in Buffalo at the tail end of our trip to the Falls, and we have a few hours to kill before we go to the airport. So what happens is we happen to drive through the "Irish Heritage District" of Buffalo, gift shops, restaurants and pubs, even The Buffalo Irish Center! We are on our way to a pizza and wing joint we've heard rave reviews about (another review coming!), but decide we'll stop by for a draught on the way back to the airport. We see Doc Sullivan's and decide that's the place we'll go. When we get back they're getting ready for a wedding across the street, we go inside and there are people dressed up eating and drinking. We ask, "pre-wedding warm up?" "No," was the answer, "that's the funeral from this morning, the wedding reception is after in our banquet room!" An Irish Pub across the street from a Catholic Church, it doesn't get any more Irish than that!! Great selection of beer, yummy pub food, friendly atmosphere! Sláinthe!

Angelina G.

Yelp
Horrible bartender... blonde girl with short hair. Rude, uninviting, on her phone, denied my niece because her id was "outdated" shes a liar and i dont like her! Expect 0 new customers with that attitude! Thank you:)

Julie H.

Yelp
The absolute worst service I have have ever experienced. Food was decent, but we had to continually get up from our table to order our drinks and our food. When the food did arrive, it was not what we had ordered. Our server kept apologizing for his mistakes, but it just continued. Will never return!

Laura G.

Yelp
With all the great reviews and Doc's social media, I've been anxious to check it out for myself. Their burger features are what always catch my eye. They have great a lunch deal Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm (the bartender told us it goes till 4pm). You can get a regular cheeseburger (no specialty burgers) or beef on weck with 5 chicken wing and fries for only $15. This is a lot of food, and with all the components, you would think smaller portions would be served, but that's not the case. We ordered one of these deals and the Burger Special of the Day, which was a steak burger with A1 aioli, sautéed onions and jalapenos, bacon, and red onion. The burgers were a bit overcooked; more of a well-done then a medium. The aioli, onions, and jalapenos made up for the over-doneness on the steak burger. And then there is the fact that there were so many other goodies to eat, I wasn't worried about the burgers. The chicken fingers are huge! One order was 5 fingers plus a good amount of crinkle cut fries; this could easily be shared. I know there is nothing special to this frozen food, but they hit the spot. Crispy coating and perfectly sauced. The blue cheese was very bold and had a strong sour cream flavor. Definitely an acquired taste, but if you aren't scared of a pungent blue cheese, this should be right up your alley! The wings were good, an average Buffalo wing. The kitchen accidentally made BBQ instead of Smitty medium, but the bartender and cook were super friendly and sent out a new order with a couple extra wings. We enjoyed the Smitty mediums the best. (Smitty = blend of spices added to your choice of mild, medium, hot. The spices definitely bring the sauce to the next level of deliciousness). The bbq sauce is a thin, sweet sauce. We also got to try the Forty Fries, which were their crinkle cut fries shaken in a garlicky butter with sprinkled parm. For us, they sounded better than they were. There just didn't seem to be much flavor to them. These extra calories weren't worth it. The food took awhile, but it was understandable as the lunch crowd was likely bigger than usual since it was a holiday. The bartender not only took care of everyone at the bar, she also served all the tables. Although we could have used more check-backs for re-fills and such, this is no fault to the server/bartender; she was as attentive as she could be. There was plenty of entertainment with all the TVs, shuffleboard, and darts. The bathrooms weren't the best, but I was there for the food, not the toilet. Overall, a good spot to check out for some pub grub. A lot of friendly Buffalonians hang out here!

Charlynn R.

Yelp
This place recently raised the price on their Mon & Tues wing special but it's still a great deal at 75¢ a wing. The wings were huge today and nice and saucy. The hot is right on par with how a hot wing should be in my opinion. The bathroom did look a little disheveled but hey it's an Irish bar in south buffalo. Hot wings 8.5/10

Lita L.

Yelp
Of course we had to have buffalo wings in Buffalo, and we were not disappointed with the wings here. We ordered ours hot and extra crispy. The level of hot was hot but not mouth burning, perfect for me, and they were still crispy under the coating of sauce. The celery sticks were super fresh and crunchy. The mozzarella sticks looked pretty dark, but they tasted crispy and the cheese was chewy, and enjoyable. The Guinness on draft was tasty, but what a disappointment it was that it was served in a plastic cup in a Irish Pub. They also charged for soda water from the gun, which was disappointing as well. There were only 2 other tables for lunch and 1 person at the bar, with someone on a ladder near us doing repairs of some sort on the ceiling, which kind of detracted from our experience, hence 4 stars.

Tre G.

Yelp
Best place for wings in Buffalo. Tried a few since I've visited a few times, Doc's is the best. Their wings sauce is creamy, spicy, little sour, and their bleu cheese is amazing. Has a sour cream base and it really adds to the wing. The garlic Parmesan wings are also amazing. They have a bunch of creative and good wing flavors. Also a bunch of great beer on tap, rotating through a bunch, fun place to try new beers. Overall one of the best spots in Buffalo, best wings!

Courtney M.

Yelp
I love this place!!! The service every time is great and I usually come with a VERY large group. This last time we all ordered separate and our waiter didn't even make a fuss! He also remembered what everybody ordered- that's impressive with over 20 people!! The wings here are AMAZING! You have to try the beef on weck wings- not on the menu but they do have them. They are unreal. The smitty style wings are the best wings around also! They have homemade blue cheese too that I am a big fan of! They have a lot of choices for appetizers too and I heard the PBJ burger is very good. There is also a salad that looks great for any vegans. It was a very large portion too. The forty fries are garlic Parmesan fries- delicious along with the garlic parm wings of course. I can't recommend this place enough! They even have a banquet room for any events you might have.

Yelp
Ordered pick up on phone today. They took the order politely and correctly. Got home with a great beer batter fish fry, lots of fancy fries (coasted) a good Mac salad, cole slaw. It was a large piece of fish and very tasty. The broiled fish was great too. Also had a small wing, good size and medium sauce not too hot. The pizza logs and Buffalo roll were both great starters. Pick up went well and packaged up good. First time here, but not my last. See you next week.

Yelp
I truly have no idea how I haven't reviewed Doc's yet. I have been boycotting them due to how they handled COVID-19, so I havent been here since the beginning of the quarantine, but I used to be a weekly regular here. During quarantine however, while they were incredibly busy with takeout specials they were running and should have been able to survive on that alone since they didn't have as much staff to employ. However, they were ALSO running a secret speak-easy type establishment in the back, where drinks were being served to crowded patrons without masks. I had heard this from numerous people and decided they no longer deserved my business. For that, they easily lose two stars. I have no doubt they contributed to the spread early on in South Buffalo and I, along with many others, reported them to the health department for their actions. Not sure they were ever even fined but they certainly lost business from some loyal patrons and none of our friends have been back since either. I am only giving them 3 stars because their food is fantastic and the atmosphere is fun, with darts and shuffleboard available. The wings, burgers, and fish fry are all delicious. The service is hit or miss.
