Yelp
Wow, this was an excellent Korean food place!
Usually I check in at every place I go to on Yelp, but due to poor cellphone reception around this area (I have AT&T), I was unable to this time around. D'oh!
Anyway, we walked in and it was packed! We were acknowledged right away and we ended up snagging the last open table available. KPop music videos were playing on all of the TVs, which was a nice touch at the restaurant. They have AYCE at very decent prices. Doh #1 was around $22 per person and Doh #2 was around $27 per person. Out of all the restaurants my boyfriend and I visited over the past year post COVID, I think this was the cheapest one yet.
Doh is a very interesting restaurant...you cook your own food. You are seated directly in front of your own circular BBQ pit, of course somebody has to light it up for you. After getting our banchan (side dishes), we both went for the food items on Doh #1 - my boyfriend had the black angus brisket and I had the pork belly. We also ended up sharing a plate of hush puppies. Since this was our first time at a restaurant where we had to cook our own food (not counting restaurants where food is made in front of us), it was a little confusing, but we eventually got the hang of it.
This was some great BBQ food that we selected. The pulled pork was very chewy and tender. My boyfriend said that his brisket was also tender and very good. We even got our own bottle of brisket sauce. With this being an AYCE restaurant, we actually had room left in our stomachs for dessert, which is a very rare occasion for us whenever we go to a restaurant. We both ended up getting ice cream - chocolate for me and strawberry for my boyfriend. The ice cream came in cups with tiny spoons, kinda like those cups you see in grocery stores. It was really good!
Wonderful, delicious food! I hope to come back soon and try out their other food items.
