Not a bad review just a FYI I walked down there ready to have a good time and was disappointed to find it’s GONE. Signs down, all closed up. Had to be a high rent location. I hope the people find another location and can start again. Nice view across the street….

My favorite bar in Williamsburg! Cool dive vibes, great drinks and fun staff.

Nicole is absolutely exceptional. She took such good care of us, and suggested incredible things on the menu. I felt like she took good care of me and maintained great vibes.

I used to love coming to the old location, but now that they’ve moved they have a bouncer that creates a fake line out front when there’s plenty of space inside. When I walked inside (after several people left the bar) the bouncer didn’t say a word to me and immediately began physically grabbing me and pushing me out the door. Will not be returning

Cute bar and you can order to go. Horrible margarita , however, I will say it had a lot of alcohol in it . But the mixer ( lime juice ) was so sour . But for $13 before tip- I’ll choke it down .

Obsessed with this place! Found it as we were heading to Smorgasbord across the street and ended up staying becuase the vibes were good and the drinks were affordable. Had so much fun that we ended up coming back that same night and the music was bumping. The bathroom is basically a Dolly Parton shrine and any bar that honors Queen Dolly is 5/5 stars for me.

Great dive bar. The prices are reasonable and there are good options for small bites. The bar did a great job with outdoor seating on both Kent and 8th. We were able to order inside and pick out a table.

Fun little dive bar! It's very small inside and quickly gets packed, but if you can get in while it isn't too busy, the drinks are strong and the ice is crushed (like Sonic ice). Great spot to grab a drink before a show or dinner.

Cute place to celebrate Dolly, dive bars, and delightful friends. DRINKS - Tried a few diff cocktails, like the Chapo Chapo (mezcal/tequila + oj), Jane Fonda (frozen: rum + pineapple + oj), and Dolly Crush (vodka + guava) with my personal fave being the Jane Fonda. Not as boozy as elsewhere but $11 each. Beers are cheap too like $5. SPACE - The place gets busy but I found there to be enough space with the groups more likely to be the ones standing. DECOR - The bathroom is a vibe. You already know about who, too. The Moxy Hotel has a new Jolene Sound Room which may be fabulous, but if you're in need of a dive named after Dolly, this spot is here for ya.

I've had Dolly's on my list for so long and finally made it out to Williamsburg to give it a try on Saturday night. Dolly's met my expectations, and was filled with great vibes, good music, and delicious drinks. It was crowded so it took a little bit to get the bartenders attention and get our drinks but the bartender was kind and made our drinks quickly once we ordered. I enjoyed the Double Barrel Susie and my friend got the Dolly Crush. I felt like the drinks could have been a bit stronger but at least they were not too sweet! The cocktails are reasonably priced, especially compared to tother bars in the area, and beers are between $6-9. The bathrooms are decorated in old Dolly Parton memorabilia, so definitely check it out if you go!

*Warning* yelp review of doom #cringe So I went into this bar serendipitously, This review is all about their first listed cocktail the chapo chapo. Long story short as a self proclaimed spicy king this drink delivered on So many levels, not every, but so many. Sweet,spicy,tart,smoky,light handed, strong, and at best - serial experiments layered - this drink is actually spicy. The rim concoction they made will numb your lips Szechuan style and on round two three and four it will come back to pucker you back to the beginners mind like the fein you are. Review of doom, precisely. Make it spicier, exalt the kings unto the precipice of the river, I demand it be so, because doom is on the precipice.13 dollars well spent! Edit: nah tell me why I went back in and they wouldn't serve me, bogus. I'm a let it slide just for tonight

We went there for drinks after dinner. Great ambiance, decorated wonderfully and the bartender was spectacular!

Beyond delightful new bar that just cropped up in Williamsburg. A true dive bar in a neighborhood I thought these had been completely priced out of. Charming yet comfy and welcoming like a real bar should be--and a devoted homage to the more-than-deserving icon Dolly Parton. After location and mood, the first thing that jumped out at me was price. I spoke with the owner, Devin, who seems determined to offer this neighborhood a unique place to hang, with nothing on the menu costing more than $9. At that price point in this hipster hellhole, I was delighted enough that I would have settled for decent drink options. Imagine my pleasant surprise at my excellent $9 drinks, like a goddamned unicorn in this city these days My friend and I went off menu at first, and Devin mixed us some tasty mezcal palomas. I later tried the Double Barrel Suzie--basically a bourbon mule with knob creek, which was tasty. My other friend enjoyed her wine, while I later marveled at the solid draft beer options--such as Left Hand Stout--available in 14 & 24 oz pours for $6-$8. Even the bar food was perfectly solid--tasty pretzel sticks served with an IPA cheese sauce and a spicy mustard for only $7. This would all be enough on its own; throw in the authentic dive bar decor with a decidedly Dolly theme, and I just didn't want to leave. This spot felt too good to be true--against all NYC odds, I hope it thrives and never changes.

Love this place! Stumbled by when we were aimlessly walking around Greenpoint/Williamsburg looking for a place to have a cold beverage and we're pleasantly surprised. No frills dive, racy vintage decor and cheap drinks. Very laid back, at least during the day. We didn't eat, but the menu looked limited..a few snacks to munch on but not the place to come for a meal. Will def give this place another shot and add it to the list!

Half the time I mention that I'm a Dolly Parton fan I have gotten either skeptical looks or someone just thinks I'm a bandwagon fan that decided it was cool and acceptable to like Dolly now. But no. I have without any shame have seen Steel Magnolias probably at least 87 times and my sister and I used to (keep in mind I was like 4 and she was 9) would reenact that scene in the hair salon with our dolls where Shelby goes into diabetic shock and Dolly saves the day by getting her her JUICE! My sister always fought vehemently to be Truvy and made me be Annelle. I could never win. Anyway, many years later, many Rock Mountain Christmas specials later, I heard about this opening and wanted to go. But I feel like every time I ask a friend to go somewhere I'm really interested in they get around to it 4 years later and it will be closed lol. I missed the opportunity passing this two weeks ago and decided to hop in when I noticed it was across the street from the same venue this weekend. I love that this bar caters to a lot of different preferences: cocktails - $9, cheap canned beer - $4, nicer draft beer - $5-6 for a 14oz and then $8 for a 24oz, White claw (stop), shot specials, snacksies. For my drink of choice I went with the 'Night Moves'. Not Dolly Parton themed per se. Actually, most of the bar is not themed with the exception of the bathroom. But I have both fond and not so fond memories of my Dad blasting 'Night Moves' in the car pretty much anywhere we went. Skating practice? - Night Moves. Violin recital? - Night moves. Going to a restaurant/daddy is getting too many dewar's on the rocks? - Night Moves. Doesn't want to hear you yapping in the car? - Night Moves. It was nutty and strong. Kind of exactly what I would expect. But a twist on an old fashioned. The jukebox has a good selection of classic rock. Weirdly not a lot of country or Dolly. The bathroom is where she shines and its quite the bathroom. I like the kitsch. I mean, it definitely suckered me to come in. The drinks are cheap and tasty so its hard not to like this for being just a new quality dive.

I love his bar ! It's so cute and the bathroom is adorable Dolly Parton pictures everywhere and even the tissue lol this place is a definitely a classic it's a Brooklyn fairly close to downtown New York beautiful area lots of amazing things to see ! This is definitely a hipster kinda of area still very safe considering how close it is towards downtown

Great vibes and a good time guaranteed at Dollys! My friend recommended this bar for a spot for us to catch up at on a Thursday evening. It's located on Kent so closer to the water in the Williamsburg area. We decided to sit at the bar and initially it wasn't busy at all. As the night progressed the space filled up and people were even allowed to bring their dogs inside. The vibe is definitely more appropriate for a date, but also comfortable enough to bring a small group of friends here for a candle lit drinks. The bartenders are personable and the drinks are cheap. I'd definitely give this spot a try!

This bar sucks. Hear me out: I came here with three of my friends after getting a tattoo around the corner. It was a Friday evening, it was relevantly busy, but we came in and each ordered one drink. Three of us ordered the SAME cocktail on the menu, and one got a glass of red wine. When we sat down and looked around, everyone had glasses and we had been given plastic cups that were FILLED with mostly ice. Despicable. The vibe? OLD AND STUCK-UP PEOPLE. Nothing buy a bunch of gentrifiers in Brooklyn that pay 2k for a studio apartment and think they're better than everyone else. My friends and I would've loved to spend more time here because the bar itself was nice, but the atmosphere was the same as a trash can set on fire. I never felt more disgusted. Dim lights, stools for chairs, and there were at LEAST two dogs in here. One weird baby doll and they didn't even check for a VAX CARD like the rest of NYC. Granted, it was Halloween weekend, so the vibes could've just been spooky for the event, but straight up judging us for being younger than 30 was not the vibe. Plastic cups are cancelled; not even environmentally friendly. 2/5 stars. Ice was a nice snack (it was the round crunchy kind).

My friend and I were only at this bar for about 15mins, we were winding down the night and wanted to end the night at a chill bar before calling ubers home, when one of the bartenders (a bald, slight, light skinned Black woman) tried to sneak past my friend and got ACCIDENTALLY bumped by my friend while we were exiting the bar to wait for our uber. Instead of accepting my friend's gracious apology, the bartender follows us outside and started ranting about how non-Black people always seem to find her invisible and starts to rudely tell my friend to watch where she's going next time. When I calmly stepped in to defend my friend, the bartender called me a sell-out and tried to berate me for being a dark skinned Black woman with nonBlack friends. At this point, after a level-headed back-and-forth with me where I tell her that she needs to relieve herself of the chip on her shoulder, we decide to deescalate the situation by going back inside the bar to wait by the entrance. The bartender tells the bouncer to deny us entry and continues to verbally assault us outside the bar. At this point, male patrons are stepping in to deescalate the situation as the bartender is inappropriately and nonsensically irate and the bouncer is sitting there doing nothing to stop her from physically imposing herself on us. The bartender then calls one of her friends from inside the bar to threaten to fight me and my friend and tells us that we can no longer stand on the block to wait for our uber because she "owns this f*cking block and the entire f*cking bar." The bartender and her friend, another light skinned Black woman with shoulder-length hair in a bun, continued to threaten violence and called us/me "nobodies," "b*tches," and "sell-out" until our uber came and even with male bystanders begging them to walk away. I'm adding the descriptions of the two women because I didn't catch their names but I want other people to be aware of their unhinged behavior. I will be contacting the owner for their names to file aggravated harassment reports with the police. EDIT: The bartender's name is Tati.

Came here on a rainy Sunday and the music selection was just on point. Nothing better than staring outside having your view of Kent avenue and a drink. The bartender was great and the prices are surprisingly affordable for Willy B.. I would entertain coming back here again.

I haven't even left this bar yet but I think it's my new favorite in Brooklyn. Friendly staff, great drinks, super reasonable prices...I'm stoked!

Popped in when it started to get windy am I'm glad i did! Aesthetically pleasing bar with a warm feeling to it. With Low lit and comfortable chairs, I can see myself coming back.

Dolly's is very cute and in a nice location. I've come here twice and had two different experiences. The first was during the pandemic when they weren't allowing people inside to seat but they had a few outdoor seats and they were selling popcorn and burgers outside. And they were selling strong AF drinks to go. It was really nice and I still think about burger to this day. The second time was recently where they have two huge outdoor seating areas now and the inside was packed. The vibe was still cool but rowdy. The thing that was annoying was the prices. We didn't stay long after we ordered a frozen drink that came in one of those small Greek coffee cups to go, not even filled to the top, and the waiter asked me for 12 dollars. I can't, that's just too much. Like that's not even worth my while. The place was loud you couldn't sit and the drinks were crazy expensive?? That's why I don't go to Manhattan to drink, shouldn't have to deal with that in BK too!

Relatively small, eclectic decor, and super chill vibe. Amazing bartenders - Chris and Tati were so welcoming and made us feel like home. As far as cocktails, you have to try the Chapo Chapo on happy hour - super spicy, but very satisfying. Will definitely be back here on our next trip to Brooklyn.

Lovely dive bar in Williamsburg. Bathroom dedicated to Dolly Parton is quite something. Staff was friendly and the seating outdoors is a great new addition. The Jane Fonda was refreshing - a nice frozen drink on a hot summer day; I would highly recommend. We had a great time chilling and playing drinking games.

What a great dive bar. We were looking for a place to keep warm while waiting to go to another venue. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed with no seating room. This didn't matter once we noticed how good the music was. After a few beer and shot specials ($7 each) we were pleased with our decision to stop here and danced the cold away.

The drinks are great from here. The vibe was interesting on the Saturday night that I came. The exposed brick and interesting art on the wall sets a great tone and is a great background for photos. The customers were all young White people (with the exception of me and the person I was with). The bar provides games, and people were playing them! There were hardly any seats inside, but someone was getting up when we arrived, so we got lucky and got two seats. I would definitely recommend this bar if you do not mind a homogenous crowd of young White people! It's in a great spot for bar hopping with lots of other bars nearby, as well as a great view of Manhattan if you walk one block to the water.

Sweet and tart cocktails served at all hours of the day. Fancy a grab bag of popcorn and ranch? Compliments of the sommelier. Need a place to rest your laboring feet? Beside, you may find yourself a seat at the veranda. By day, you will be surrounded by a verdant landscape. At night, the string lights make for a perfect romantic hideout. Suitable for both business and pleasure. Now, I'll have another Jane Fonda.

Good lord, if a bathroom dedicated to the queen of country music doesn't entice you to visit this bar I don't know what will! The drinks are incredible, I recommend the Jane Fonda, it's frozen goodness is so good you will order it any time do the year. The inside is very warm and welcoming and the staff are great as well. Teresa and Devin really know how to run a great establishment. Also, the black been taquitos are so good, it's hard to wait for them to cool down before you dive in. Great new addition to the neighborhood.

If you come to this bar you need to be taken care of by Tati. Best bartender! She checks the drink before serving you & she's just a vibe !!!

Most incompetent bartenders I've ever seen. Took 25 mins to close a tab even though the bar wasn't busy and there were multiple bartenders behind the bar. Absolutely unbelievable.
