"A tin ceiling. A vintage jukebox. Little wooden stools that aren’t high enough to cause bodily harm when you topple off one after too much tequila. Dolly’s has all the hallmarks of a classic dive, but it actually opened near the Williamsburg waterfront in 2019. About the size of a corner store, the place is vaguely country-themed, although it wasn’t named for Dolly Parton. (Dolly was an owner's childhood nickname.) There are, however, Dolly Parton albums plastered all over the walls of the bathroom. If you’re looking for a place to sink into a banquette and drink a can of beer or a sub-$15 cocktail, this is a good option. It’s great for a quick catch-up with friends, and even works for a first date in a pinch." - Bryan Kim

The Design of the place is nice. But the Tie Dye Wearing Bartender wasn't . waiting for more than 20 minutes to get served, Newcomers that came in after us was served immediately after giving us a disgruntle face and was asked to " wait one moment bro". Possibly serve certain patrons base by their looks and what they wear.

A friend of ours, Pat, (a local) brought us here (all the way from Ireland) for a party. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice drinks. Had a few drinks outside in the sun and really enjoyed it.

Obsessed with this place! Found it as we were heading to Smorgasbord across the street and ended up staying becuase the vibes were good and the drinks were affordable. Had so much fun that we ended up coming back that same night and the music was bumping. The bathroom is basically a Dolly Parton shrine and any bar that honors Queen Dolly is 5/5 stars for me.

Went after we got married and it was the PERFECT spot. Definitely added to my memories and I'll be back if I visit NYC again. The staff was the best they could have been and the games were fun

Great dive bar. The prices are reasonable and there are good options for small bites. The bar did a great job with outdoor seating on both Kent and 8th. We were able to order inside and pick out a table.

Solid dive bar with some strong $12 cocktails.

Great dive bar with really good frozen drinks. They don't serve food here but you can bring your own. It gets really loud and crowded on weeks and the line for the bathroom is always REALLY long.
