"A tin ceiling. A vintage jukebox. Little wooden stools that aren’t high enough to cause bodily harm when you topple off one after too much tequila. Dolly’s has all the hallmarks of a classic dive, but it actually opened near the Williamsburg waterfront in 2019. About the size of a corner store, the place is vaguely country-themed, although it wasn’t named for Dolly Parton. (Dolly was an owner's childhood nickname.) There are, however, Dolly Parton albums plastered all over the walls of the bathroom. If you’re looking for a place to sink into a banquette and drink a can of beer or a sub-$15 cocktail, this is a good option. It’s great for a quick catch-up with friends, and even works for a first date in a pinch." - Bryan Kim
