The 19 Best Bakeries In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"There’s a wooden window just off Coral Way where people line up every day for sourdough bread. That’s all they have here—endless rows of excellent flour-dusted loaves they hand off to customers like some sort of illicit bread deal. Just ring the bell, and a man pops out to ask what you want and how thick you want it sliced. Get the tangy, springy country bread. They also have fun flavors like cacio e pepe, and garlic and tomato bread. The flavors change constantly, so check their website, where you can also pre-order. Try to avoid Saturdays, lest you deal with long lines and get blocked in by a Cybertruck." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

If you’re a bread lover, Domaselo is a must-visit! They make the best mother dough bread—always fresh, full of flavor, and crafted with care. The staff is incredibly friendly and passionate about their craft, taking the time to explain the origins of their bread, which makes the experience even more special. I highly recommend trying their high-protein bread—it’s delicious, nutritious, and perfect for those looking for a healthier option. Just make sure to get there early because their bread sells out fast! Parking is easy, so no worries about finding a spot. Domaselo truly deserves all the love and support. If you visit, let them know you found them through this review!

I heard about Domaselo through a friend and while it is kind of out to the way for me, I made it and I couldn’t be happier about that. They sell about 9-10 different kind of sourdough, yes only sourdough. Bread is baked onsite and it is as fresh and soft as it could be. I bought 2 loaves of bread on a Sunday and 4 days later, they are not hard which is one of the problems with the mainstream grocery stores, their bread gets hard after 4-5 days. Bread is sold out of a window, literally a window, pretty cute. The employees are friendly, offer samples, etc. I see myself returning to this store for more bread for sure.

I’ve been trying to stop by this bakery for a long time as I live a few miles away from it. Finally made it and my expectations were overly exceeded. The shop itself it’s the cutest thing ever so simple and charming only to highlight the bread. The person behind the counter was very nice told about the bread and made me try all the different varieties and let’s say every single bread is with it and very delicious. All the varieties are based on sorrow dough with the additions. Do not hesitate if this place is on your list. The bread is 11 out of 10, seriously!!!

Excellent quality of each bread, made with natural ingredients that in the first bite you feel the aroma, softness of the dough and a sensation that envelops you with each different flavor, I congratulate you on this new venture that we should support in Miami for all of us who like bread..

Google
This is a hidden gem in Miami! 🌟 I’ve been searching for quality, natural bread with no additives, and this place exceeded all my expectations. They have an incredible variety of sourdough flavors, and it’s hard to choose just one! I tried the plain sourdough, the jalapeño and cheddar for a savory option 🌶️🧀, and the chocolate and almond for a sweet treat 🍫🌰. My husband and I enjoyed the sweet one toasted with coffee, and it was absolutely delicious. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. This bakery is a rare find, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more! 🥖✨

These people know how to make amazing bread! Awesome. 👏 Their sour dough selection is to die for, super well made, their service is excellent, even if they are currently nestled in a hole in the wall off of 27th Avenue. They will grow, you just wait and see. They are too good to be hiding here. Their prices are on the expensive side, but so worth it.

I just went to the grocery store and was sitting in traffic on the way home when I remembered someone recommended this place to me. I had a pack of provolone and a starving 3 year old in the car. I decided to make cheese sandwiches in the car using the provolone and their garlic tomato bread. Oh my goodness by the time we got home we looked down and realized we almost ate the entire loaf. It was absolutely delicious! The texture of the bread is what I appreciate most. It’s not full of tons of giant holes and is dense to perfection. Later on at home we toasted the chocolate almond bread and smeared on some Nocciolata. Wowzers! Tomorrow I will fry some eggs to put on top of the olive bread. I’m happy ☺️

Google
Domaselo is an absolute gem of a bakery. Their sourdough is everything bread should be made fresh daily using simple, organic ingredients, and you can truly taste the care in every loaf. They have an incredible lineup of regular offerings, and creative weekend specials, so always something new and delicious to try! The charm of the place is undeniable, with the cutest little pickup window that makes grabbing your bread feel like a cozy neighborhood ritual. It’s run by the most humble and wonderful owners who are hands-on in every sense! They bake the bread themselves and bring a real warmth to the whole experience. This is what a local bakery should be, soulful, thoughtful, and consistently amazing. Don’t miss it!

Yelp
5/5 $5 for this piece of art...and it was delicious. The outside was rustic, inside was soft like sponge cake. Amazing! Will need to try the other variations next time but this was so well worth it! Believe the hype!!

Yelp
Just off of SW 27th Ave, on SW 11th St, there's a large parking lot and a very inconspicuous wooden half-door/window for you to order one thing--AMAZING BREAD! These bread loaves are all the same shape and size, and you can get them uncut, Regular sliced, and thin sliced. I recommend that you get them thin sliced, unless you're going to use it for French Toast or Avocado toast, in which case regular sliced would work better. They use the simplest ingredient, organic floor, water and salt. The service is great and very efficient--don't forget you can order ahead on the website. There's no ambiance to speak of. If you want, you can eat it in your car and that's about it. It's really just a grab-and-go spot. I have tried 3 of the breads and I have to say, I'm most drawn to the regular country loaf, unless you're getting it for something very specific like French Toast, then you can get the other stuff. Also, if you want more nutrient dense options, the protein loaf is a powerhouse without sacrificing much of the flavor. I tried the Cinnamon Raisin loaf for both French Toast and Bread Pudding and that just worked perfectly. The seeded bread was terrific for Tuna Salad. Honestly, these loaves will elevate any recipe as a high-quality ingredient. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
A small local owned bakery with some excellent sourdough bread !!! Prices are excellent ... And the bread offering are numerous and they are all delicious !! Hopefully it stays with the same quality and prices ... Love this place .. you can either order online thru Instagram link or in person .. But beware they are known to sellout ... so I would order online

Yelp
What a gem! Freshly baked sour dough bread with minimal ingredients at affordable prices! I love that they offer different ones so I don't even have to eat the same bread every week. My to go bread spot.

Yelp
So happy we learned about Domaselo!! There's nothing like quality fresh baked bread Domaselo's bread is absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. I have tried a couple of their different loafs; olive bread, French Onion and High Protein - nothing but greatness! I do like that they offer to slice the bread for you. Prices are extremely reasonable. Online ordering for pick up is available and easy to use. For more information on their seasonal breads, I recommend checking out their website. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A South Florida hidden gem! Connor was AMAZING! Even got to try samples of the king bread (sweet and savory) for Mardi Gras. The service is second to none. Very small place and great selection! If you blink you'll miss it as they are located in a the back of a small shopping center parking lot.

Yelp
What can I say??? Bread is one of my favorite things and the sourdough bread at Domaselo is THE BEST!!! We ate almost a whole loaf in one sitting. It is light and so soft inside and it has a beautiful crust. We tried the multi seed and also ordered an onion. It's a must if you good bread. They open everyday, you can order online and pickup and they have special breads every month. Do yourself a favor and go NOW!!

Yelp
Miami is loving it's pop up unexpected bakery moments and Domaselo is just one of them. Find yourself in a small parking lot behind a small plaza-esque strip of building and encounter two double doors open to a "ventanita" of sorts. Two doors, covered in clipboards of the day's offerings open up to a window with a glass covered shelving of bread on display and the other with a baker and register. From the window, you see the inside of a industrial kitchen of sorts, plenty of ovens, cooling racks and refrigerators. A slicing machine is close to the register, and you just have to ask. We picked up a cinnamon raisin loaf as well as a walnut cranberry. Most breads are sourdough BUT these are evolved and don't feature the sour and even tangy feature of some of its kinds. The bread tastes great and even better when supporting a small business). The lost star is definitely for cost. While I can get behind the artisanship of bread baking, $8 for a loaf of bread is a tough one. Especially at the quantity that is clearly being operated at. Even $6 would have be coming back faster.

Yelp
Very pleasant bread window! Little bit of a line and it takes some time because the owner likes to chat with you in the window! He gave me good advice ie how to store the bread so it stays fresh, gave recommendations for his favorite loaves, and even let me sample a piece (cheddar jalapeño with real pieces of jalapeño and big chunks of cheddar so good!) All of the breads have the dough mixture in common (flour, water, and salt) no yeast! It is organic. The add-ons are great too! I went with the olive bread (with olives from Greece) and cinnamon raisin which is outstanding microwaved for a few seconds and topped with butter! The bread is so soft but the flavor is a litttttle plain. But that is probably because there is no additives! I would probable recommend against the plain bread, it needs the add-ins to spice it up! I can't wait to return and try more flavors!

Yelp
This family owned business is such a gem. I traveled over an hour it was so worth it! I suggest the cranberry and walnut loaf.

Yelp
Located in a non descrit area on the outskirts of Little Havana, Domaselo does not disappoint. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by owners and staff. We were shown all their breads and given free samples. We were sold. Best of all, ingredients. Flour, water, salt. All breads are fresh, warm and delicious. Priced great and even though this is not a restaurant, just a walk up window, you know you'll be coming back. Because, who doesn't love bread!
google avatar

Stephany S.

Yelp
There's nothing like fresh baked bread. And Domaselo is serving up some of the best! Love the fact that there is no additives in these breads. I first tried the bread from Plum Market and then found out they had a shop here in Miami! Of course, I just had to go! There's a sign that leads you right to the window. At the window you order your bread with one of the employees. They are all so nice and welcoming! The breads that are available are listed right there on the wall. All the breads can also be slice if you prefer which is awesome. This time around I got the cinnamon raisin, the high protein bread and the November special flavor which is French onion bread. Hands the best breads I've had! That French onion bread is literally a meal. Omg!! It had just come out of the oven so they couldn't slice it cause it'll fall apart... but you can just imagine the smell in my car going home. Let's just say, the bread didn't make it. (Sorry fam lol). Do yourself a favor and get some fresh baked bread!

Yelp
We heard about this place a few months ago. We decided to try it and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff and easy to order menu. The bread was fantastic. We ordered their olive and cinnamon raisin bread. Both of them were great tasting. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Johanny V.

Yelp
This bread is amazing!!! Great quality and done on site. You smell and taste the fresh ingredients. You get it from a "ventanita" little window and they even let you tried different flavors. I got the raisin cinnamon and it was perfect with some honey butter at home. Love this place and will be back for more!

Yelp
I can't believe after all these years of living in the Gables that I've just now discovered Domaselo! Thanks to an Instagram post, I've found the perfect spot for fresh sourdough and have been coming every week since the discovery. Moderately priced and absolutely delicious. We've tried the Olive, Pizza, Almond Joy, Pumpkin & Pumpkin Seeds, and the Happy Bread. All were absolutely delicious. There's nothing like fresh made bread with simple, high quality ingredients. The folks at the window are also always cheerful and friendly.

Yelp
Amazing bread, many varieties, rotating new flavors, great customer service, so fresh and so yummy! Fully recommend

Yelp
Just updating my prior review from a month ago. I've continued to come back to try there other breads. So far I've had the Olive Loaf, the Cranberry Walnut and I just tried their new Pizza Bread. All were Amazing! I can't get enough of this bread. Recently went on a small family trip and we took 3 loaves of bread with us. We devoured all 3. Even the picky eaters in the family were like "Dad where is that bread from". Definitely a must try!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
I work around corner and have been meaning to go by. Great bread. It's all sourdough but variations. I got the country bread and the olive bread. Hot out of the oven. Excellent.
google avatar

E B.

Yelp
Tried Domaselo yesterday and really happy that I did. They make different varieties of sourdough bread, and that's all they have, so it's clearly their specialty. I tired the regular, cinnamon raisin and pumpkin chocolate. All were great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, it's clear they take pride in what they do. Worth noting, this is not a restaurant or cafe, it's place to pick up freshly baked bread. I'm definitely going to visit again soon.
google avatar

Julia T.

Yelp
Little tiny bakery with just a window to pick up the most clean, delicious, and best old school sourdough bread made with just flour, water, salt and fermentation. Lovely owner and so many options to choose from. I especially loved the tomato and garlic sourdough with giant soft sweet chunks of roast garlic.
google avatar

JT B.

Yelp
A great idea! Very fresh bread with a great variety. We bought four different breads and highly recommend the tomato. If they were closer to us we would be there a lot. They recommended freezing the bread if you aren't going to eat it all in two days. The only thing I would put out there, as it was our group consensus, is that the sourdough isn't as sour as most Americans are used to. Especially if you eat Publix sourdough bread.
google avatar

Mag T.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place but it fell short. Pickup was quick and easy! The bread is not soft and fluffy out of the packaging it is more dense and tough. I had to toast it and that helped a bunch. The olive bread & high protein were great toasted just not ready to eat out the packaging.
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
This place is a gem !! fresh bread, fair price, friendly service. Yes, it is not the same as publix because it is BETTER ! these people specialize in what they do, it is a craft, not a overproducing manufacturer. three simple ingredients, so many options to choose. what's not to like ?! so grateful I found this place. ring the doorbell for fresh bread ! so cute. parking was confusing a little but was behind building !

Yelp
Recently had the pleasure of ordering and trying this multi-seed and cranberry almond bread from Domaselo and I gotta say this bread is so delicious and as an added plus has been great for my husband who is diabetic and we noticed a slice of this bread does not spike his sugar so we will definitely continue ordering and trying other types of their delicious bread.

A S.

Yelp
Not friendly customer service. Ran out of bread advertised and others not available as advertised

Harris K.

Yelp
This delicious sourdough is perfectly simple and elegant, yet clearly refined. Having ordered on DoorDash the night before, we enjoyed warm, fresh bread at our door first thing in the morning. What a treat! We went with 1 traditional country sourdough and 1 seeded sourdough. Both are excellent. Cant wait to try their other varieties, like olive or cinnamon. Highly recommend!

Anthony H.

Yelp
They sell the bread at all Milams, I enjoyed it so much I went to the take out window at the bakery. I've tried the jalapeño and cheddar twice (seasonal) and looking to try everything else.

Danny C.

Yelp
Great bread with no GMO or preservatives. Ingredient list is very transparent: Flour, Water, Yeast and salt. If you like to eat a lot of bread, this is probably one of the more healthy choices you can make.
google avatar

Diner M.

Yelp
This bread is delicious but the pick up process is not good. I don't want to pay for shipping since I live nearby. After the second time of messed up pick up I said that's it. But the bread is so good I said give them another chance. I ordered the bread on Saturday. They didn't text me to say it was ready, and the website says you can't pick up on Monday(which is wrong) so I went on Tuesday at 10:30am. No one was there. I called the first 2 numbers on the door and left messages. Someone called back and electronically opened the door. My order was not there. It was prepaid. So this person I spoke to said they would make it right. We'll see. I'll update if they "make it right". Three pick up orders-3 messed up.
google avatar

Fabio H.

Yelp
Amazing lunch fresh and delicious good food and delivery faster and cleaner excellent service and great service for my family and friends when they don't like cooking in home
google avatar

M H.

Yelp
No more free local delivery. It's ok to pick it up but, pick up is only between 8 am to 1 pm M-F, and a hassle with that. I placed the order on Friday afternoon. On Monday I didn't get an email saying it was ready. I emailed them and was told my order would be ready on Tuesday. I tried calling Tuesday before going to make sure it was ready, no one answers the phone. I check my order status on their website and it says will be emailed once it's ready. When decided to just show up, there's a paper at the door with three phone numbers. The first number was wrong (someone from a different business answered, and he's tired of getting calls from a "bread place"). The second number was no answer. The third did and was only told to enter a code to open the door, and pick up my order from a rack. wasn't greeted by anyone in person. My favorite bread, garlic rosemary is no longer sold. All the prices went up considerably. The BREAD itself is still really good though. Free local delivery was a great option, but with all their changes for the worse, I'm not thinking of going back.
google avatar

Mary P.

Yelp
If you yearn for delicious European style crusty bread that it not loaded with all the nasty artificial this and that, you will love bread from Domaselo. If you thought it couldn't get any better-it does. It can be delivered straight to your door. They offer a splendid variety of flavors including multigrain, country white, olive, rosemary and garlic (which both are even better the second and third day) and cranberry walnut. The bread also freezes well if you follow the directions on Domaselo's website.
google avatar

Tony G.

Yelp
Nobody answered the doors and nobody answered the phone. How can I try the bread? What kind of business is this?
google avatar

Ralph M.

Yelp
Superb artisan sourdough made fresh every day! We were impressed by the courteous and prompt delivery service as well. We highly recommend!
google avatar

C C.

Yelp
Just what we've been looking for, good simple and delicious artisanal bread! For those who appreciate European style country bread you'll be happy and delivery is such a plus! We eat mostly plant based and the ingredients are in line with what we look for. The delivery was tracked and texts updated us when to expect. Keep up the great work guys!

Carol R.

Yelp
They are amazing. It's the absolute best bread I have ever eaten. They filled my request last minute and I was able to stop by and pick it up.

Maria Luisa C.

Yelp
I've called 3 times since I'm nearby and could stop by but nobody answers the phone. According to Google they are supposed to be open for another 15minutes.

Stefan C.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! I had ordered from here before, and the bread was decent, so I decided to order again. The order was a delivery, which was confirmed in an email they sent me. On the day of delivery, they texted me and said that I needed to pick up my order. Obviously, this was not how the order was placed, so I texted back and explained. They proceeded to tell me that it was not a delivery (Even though the email confirmation said it was) and that if I wanted delivered I had to pay more. I quickly responded that I was unable to pick up and would like a refund instead due to the fact that they gave me they wrong information. They did not respond. I emailed them later with the confirmation email attached and they told me the same this as before. I replied again and they never responded! The company and its employees obviously do not care for the customers. They will take your money and ignore you once they have. Do not order from here.

Janet G.

Yelp
Great bread! I'm happy to have found this place where I can get fresh bread with simple, real ingredients the way bread is supposed to be. They deliver to your home and ordering process is very easy.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Organic bread with sour dough yeast. Ordered baguette as a test. Turns out very chewy and denser than a typical light bagguet. In fact maybe just a little bit more salt to bring out more flavor. Will order other bread later! Recommend as a good local artisan bakery!
