I go here quite often. The service is impeccable. The steak filet I always get well done perfectly seasoned good eats. The anchovies are splendid in the house salad. Service is excellent. About $60 bucks a head that includes dessert!

I'm humbled by Jose A., who has dedicated 17 years to Don Vito’s, and Maribel, with 20 years of service. Their commitment is truly remarkable, and it was a privilege to speak with them. The food was outstanding—I had the baked mozzarella followed by the seafood pasta, both hearty and flavorful. If you value businesses that take care of their employees, Don Vito’s is the place to support. Thank you!

Our experience was amazing! Service was top notch, I think Ramon! Cesar salad was served table side along with a nice selection of bread. Hubby enjoyed a nice portion of pasta & meatballs. I found the HUGH veal parm to be exceptional, BEST ever! It was so tender & flavorful with plenty left over. I conveyed my content to the manager who we had the pleasure of meeting as he stopped by our table. We ended our meal with a chocolate mousse dessert! Oh yeah!

Truly one of the best culinary experiences we have ever had and all the credit goes to Chef Andy and his incredible staff, to make for the perfect evening. Special thanks to the staff members that took such special care of us to include Marjol and Maribel . From the moment we arrived, we were treated like we were something special, for a moment we thought we were celebrities the way the staff took care of us. The service was impeccable, and the food dishes were all out of this world. As for the three different desserts we had, it was hard to pick a favorite, all which are created daily by Stacy. We would highly recommend the following dishes, which we had between the four of us. First, for appetizers: Calamari Fritti, Don’s Meatballs, and a mozzarella cheese dish. Every main dish comes with either the soup or salad (the hand tossed Caesar Salad, which is prepared at your table was perfect). The main dishes we had were the Five Cheese Ravioli, the Seafood Diavolo, Veal Parmesan, the Chilean Sea Bass and one of the specials that night was an orange roughy fish fillet dish with one of the most delectable tasting sauces we have ever had. This was a very special dinner night for all of us, thanks to the Chef Andy and his fantastic staff.

Decided to try this place for the first time a couple weeks back and have been back again already; first time with a reservation and second time was able to get a table as a walk-in, but it got busy quickly. Ambience is nice. Free bread was really good, had meatballs for appetizer and they were a bit small for the price. Had Caesar salad and lasagna (both times) for main course. It was quite good (I always add some pepper flakes for a bit of extra spice no matter where I go) and a decent quantity for sure. Service was really good, everyone was very friendly. Drinks were refilled without even asking for it and the course timing for service was spot on. South Point is a great casino and one of the few with ample free parking, so that’s a definite bonus as well. We’ll be back…

Google
A wonderful Italian restaurant within the SouthPoint Casino. Avoid any wait and make a reservation and request a booth. Cozy round booths! Excellent service! Great wine choices, including a delicious Edna Valley Cab at a decent price per bottle. For those staying in the hotel, I understand there is a coupon available for free wine. Other reviewers said the restaurant was dark. We didn’t find it dark at all. It is a bigger sized restaurant so it doesn’t feel cramped or overcrowded even when busy. Delicious bread basket and accompaniments. The meatball appetizer (photo only shows one; sorry, we devoured the others) was delicious and fresh made - not frozen - with a delicious tomato sauce. Caesar Salad is assembled and tossed table-side, with optional anchovies. Just delicious! The Eggplant Parmesan was perfectly done - not mushy at all. It was fresh and delicious! The Linguine Clams were delicious also! Over 20 clams in shells, plus more in the sauce and noodles. None were rubbery in the least! I went for the white sauce, which was a good choice , as it really let the flavors come through! We enjoyed every morsel and every minute at Don Vito’s. We will be back. I would highly recommend.

Google
Great food at a very reasonable price. As a tourist i would recommend you give this place a chance. The minestrone soup was great and the pasta was fantastic. The best part was spending $30 to $40 a person. That price includes a soup or salad, pasta, and a drink. Great all the way around. I just wish I found this place earlier.

Google
Charming ambiance and delightful atmosphere for Italian nite. Had Caesar salad and Old World Lasagna with white wine and table bread basket included bowl of bruschetta. Everything was delicious and fresh. Waiters were on target at every point. A definite A+ restaurant and would highly recommend for all.

Yelp
What a revelation. It was a superb experience, from the moment we sat down. First of all, even though the tables were close to each other, we could carry on a conversation without shouting. The setting was so elegant. Our service was impeccable. We noticed that the wait staff consisted of very attentive and mature and obviously very well trained people. In a flash, it was wonderful to receive a generous basket of breads with their own delicious salsa. Our water glasses were never half-full because there was always a man filling our glases. For starters, we split a very large salad garnished with pears, gorgonzola cheese and candided pecans. We could have licked the bowl. It was that good. My partner ordered his favorite, chicken parmigiana. In his mind, this was his ultimate test to see if an Italian restaurant serves good food. He was delighted that the chicken wasn't pounded and overly breaded. It was plump and juicy, served with a side order of spaghetti. He thinks it's the best chicken parm he's ever had. The restaurant stopped offering cioppino, but they do have pasta pescatore in cioppino broth. Goodness, but that was incredibly tasty with lots of shrimp, clams, mussels and fish. Surprisingly, no squid. But that was perfectly fine with me. Wish they did have scallops, though. The cioppino broth was so rich and luscious. Had more than enough leftover for the next day's dinner. And happily, our server also included a fresh basket of bread and a very generous helping of their yummy salsa. So glad and happy we decided to eat there.

Yelp
A forgettable chapter in our Italian cuisine tour of Las Vegas. As part of our quest to explore every Italian restaurant in the city, a tribute to my man's love for the cuisine, we made reservations weeks in advance. We were seated beside the hallway to the kitchen where carts piled high with food clattered past us every minute or so. Usually they hit the wall and rattled our booth. Charming, right? Normally this can be forgiven with amazing food but sadly that wasn't the case. This spot could easily be mistaken for Olive Garden but with a higher price tag and even less flavor. The pasta was mushy, the calamari rough and rubbery, and the table-side Caesar lacked punch, served with watery dressing and even though it was tossed right in-front of us many of my pieces were left not coated in anything. We usually leave Italian spots with a bounty of leftovers, but not this time. My shrimp scampi was nearly inedible with overcooked pasta and shrimp that was once again, rubbery. My man's chicken parm came with thick, unpounded chicken that was very firm, paired with pasta somehow even more overdone than mine. The only memorable bite was the complimentary bread with bruschetta-style dipping oil that was very flavorful. When your free starter outshines everything else you know it's a problem. Left hungry and disappointed. If you enjoy great Italian food, look elsewhere.

Yelp
Heard good things but our experience wasn't great. My review is closer to 2.5 but bumped it to 3 without half star options. For starters we made a reservation and received the worst booth in the entire place right next to the kitchen entrance. We watched carts of food go in and out all night and employees talking back and forth. This booth shouldn't be here unless someone requests it because they enjoy being right on top of the kitchen door. This wasn't the worst part, the food was the worst part. The chicken parm was two chicken breasts. Not pounded out like they should be. Some parts of the chicken were rough. The penne was so overcooked it actually mushy. The red sauce on the penne was bitter but was told the same sauce was on the chicken parm which tasted very different. My the shrimp scampi was pasta was also very overcooked but the shrimps were undercooked. Added lots of fresh lemon to help add flavor but it was very bland as well. By far the best part was the bruschetta bread basket. The Caesar was decent as well but I've had much better. Calamari had some good pieces while others were extremely chewy. We left half our food which has never happened before and didn't take anything home. We love Italian food so much and this was the most disappointing Italian experience we've had in Vegas. Thank you for the complimentary dessert for our anniversary but again it wasn't very tasty. That part didn't surprise me as many places drop the ball on complimentary desserts. Left unsatisfied. Service was friendly, no issues there. Mentioned the table to the manager and she said she would note our account to never be sat at table 16 but sadly we won't be back.

Yelp
Don Vito's has an old world, classic vibe. It's quiet, dimly lit and comfortable. You will be greeted by friendly faces and experience attentive service. We enjoyed our cocktails, complimentary bread and Caesar salads (prepared tableside). Unfortunately, the entrees did not suit our taste. We had the Five Cheese Ravioli Oliva, Vito Vegan Pasta Primavera and Capellini Carbonara. We were surprised that the food was not very flavorful. However, portions were generous and we could tell that they use fresh, good quality ingredients.

Yelp
My cousin and I decided to use our $75.00 voucher at Don Vito's. The complimentary bread and tomatoe, garlic and olive oil spread was very addictive. I initially ordered the lobster with spinach fettichini alfredo wasn't to my liking. My waiter was very accommodating. I decided to try their shrimp scampi with linguini. The shrimp were succulent and the scampi sauce was garlicy, just the way I like it. My cousin ordered their chillian seabass with fresh greenbeans and lemon butter reduction. It was good. But she prefers it seared. When you walk into Don Vito's the ambiance is very cozy. All the staff are accommodating and gracious. To all my yelpers. If your in Las Vegas. Please dine at Don Vito's. To my yelpers. Let's continue to eat our way through out the world.

Yelp
Date night for an old school Italian experience, Don Vito's at the south point is just that place. Jose, was our waiter and he was very attentive giving us the specials and then taking our order. We started with their bread service with the bruschetta. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and eggplant parmigiana, which came with a choice of soup or table side Caesar salad. Both entrees were delicious and there was plenty for leftovers. Multiple choices for dessert but chose the pineapple panna cotta, that was delicately sweet. Definitely worth a date night reservation for this spot.

Yelp
It's been 9 years since my last review of Don Vito's so it is time for an update. I am happy to say that there is little to update - everything that was done right 9 years ago has remained. The decor is old school Italian restaurant with booths around the periphery and tables in the center. If you have been to Primarily Prime, you have seen the same decorating. In fact, the service is the same as in Primarily Prime. The wait staff is dressed in black vests with white shirts. Very attentive and excellent service throughout. They start by bringing a basket of breads that was delish. I went with the seafood diavolo. Huge portion of linguini loaded with shrimp and pieces of lobster (I asked for the scallops to be taken out) in a spicy tomato sauce - really good! Comes with a choice of soup or salad. I went with the Caesar salad. They mix it a table side - very classy and very good. Excellent choice for an upscale Italian meal. Reasonably priced considering it is in a hotel/casino.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner. The vibe is super cute. When you're inside you don't even realize that you're in a casino. It really transports you to a romantic spot. So the vibe and ambiance is total date night 10/10. The food was pretty good as well. I did request a veggie pasta and the server suggested one that had bacon. While it tasted good, I wasn't able to really enjoy it as I was picking out the bacon for a long time. And because the service was pretty slow moving I didn't think I had time to send it back. So that was disappointing. But the bread was good! The calamari wasn't very good-but there were other items that were good. I'd recommend this place if it's close or you're staying here-but...if you have other options...choose those. I wouldn't say this place is worth the trip to the very south of the strip or worth the money.

Yelp
Celebrating a birthday for my nancy very nice evening our waiters were very professional and pleasant our dinner and dessert was the best very pleased with our evening

Yelp
Back at Don Vito's for a birthday dinner party with friends! As always, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Their house wine selection is consistently great, and tonight's choice--Daou--happened to be one of my favorites. The reason for the four-star rating is the food itself. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't outstanding either. There was some noticeable sauce separation, with an excess of oil that affected the overall texture. It was still edible, but I wish the preparation had been better.

Yelp
It had been years since I dined here, and after two recent outings I intend to visit here much more often. The ambiance is upscale. The Italian food served here is authentic. And, the quality of cooking is very good. Service is professional and servers aim to please. But we did encounter a few service errors during our latest stays. Pasta e Fagioli was good but almost clogged with Cannellini Beans. Minestrone Soup was also bean oriented. Caesar Salads finished tableside were also well constructed, but on the second visit requested Anchovies were initially forgotten. A knife was dropped by me and taken away by our server with a promise to provide a replacement. And this occurred, but not right away. Both Veal Saltimbocca and Rigatoni & Sausage entrees were quite tasty. And Diane liked her Veal Parm Alfredo accompanied by Penne Alfredo. Entree portions were very generous. In contrast, an appetizer of Mozzarella Fritti consisted of only two small breaded and fried triangles of melted cheese. Complimentary Rolls and Butter and angular crisps were additional welcome starters.

Yelp
We once again chose to dine at Don Vito's on a Monday night and you of an inquisitive nature may inquire why? First off the food is quite good, secondly it is within easy walking distance from where we were staying, thirdly menu prices are more than reasonable, quarterly the dining room is quite attractive, and fifthly service is consistently good. If those reasons are not enough, how about the fact that seniors are only charged 1/2 slot points on Mondays (that would sixthly or is it Sicily?) and (sevently) we tendered a funbook coupon in exchange for a bottle of that month's featured wine. My wife chose seafood diavolo (sauteed shrimp, scallops and lobster with linguine in a spicy tomato broth) while I found happiness in the extreme with my entree of clams and linguine. Also included were a basket of assorted rolls along with an excellent dipping sauce and a Caesar salad tossed table-side. Hopefully I have convinced you to dine with the Don.

Yelp
Our server was excellent here. This made a big difference in the overall experience because the dishes were hit and miss. The server was attentive, had a big personality, and was always there for anything we needed. To start, they give you a bruschetta style complimentary plate - it has bread in a basket and some nice chopped tomato topper. We started with the Mozzarella Fritti, and while the exterior was crispy, it was disappointing that the center cheese was undercooked - the cheese was like a block, completely not even close to melting. This made it disappointing. The entrees: Chicken Marsala was excellent! Great sauce, tender chicken. I would definitely get this again! The Chicken Parmesan was just ok because, again, it wasn't that hot when it came out. The portion sizes of both plates were generous. Each entree comes with table side salad so that is a nice complimentary feature as well. Finishing with dessert - both were delicious! The lemon mouse was nice and tangy. It was a lighter dessert. The tiramisu was quality as well. Nice and fluffy and the taste was spot on!

Yelp
When you are inside Southpoint Casino and craving Italian food..this is it! Service is excellent and the food comes out in large portions...(my husband and I learned that we can just split our meals each time we eat there.) I have 4 adult boys and they are seriously full after eating here!!! *Servers always start you off with a complimentary bread basket with a delicious tomato/garlic tapenade. (Be careful not to eat too much of it... you won't finish your main meal!) *Alcohol drinks: basic/ok..nothing fancy like a Vegas speakeasy bar. *Bathrooms: located outside the restaurant, not too far of a walk.

Yelp
Well the best meal. Marty's birthday and we had such a meal. His fish Diablo so generous top of linguini. Amazing. Pear salad amazing. I had veal Marsala what a treat. Plus his birthday dessert. Service lovely we sat for 2 hours what a surprise. Highly recommend and nice decor.

Yelp
Excellent food Excellent service! An elderly lady who lives in Vegas, was sitting next to me at the blackjack table, told me this place has THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD! Ok! Well my husband's Italian so let's go!! Yes!! From the bruschetta with their amazing bread, to the stuffed clams appetizer to the Caesar salad to the Eggplant Parmesan & Lasagna-EVERYTHING was so good! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This past week, a group of us enjoyed a delicious dinner at Don Vito's Italian at the South Pointe Casino in Las Vegas. This restaurant is one of many great dining options at this casino. From the wine, to the appetizers and entrees, everything was delicious! Favorites included the calamari and the filet. I ordered the lasagna, but after looking at the filet on my wife's plate, I was definitely jealous (even though the lasagna was good). There are so many great dining choices in Vegas but we were happy to find Don Vito's close to where we were staying!
google avatar

Rissa P.

Yelp
"If you're in search of an excellent dining experience, I strongly suggest Don Vito's located within South Point Casino. We've dined there on at least four occasions and have always left satisfied. The staff is well-trained and friendly. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The team is quite attentive, and the manager often circulates to ensure everything is satisfactory. Be on the lookout for Melanie or Crissanto--both are attentive servers, along with their fellow team members."

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Jose took good care of us. Bread served and dinner ordered. Baked Ziti, chicken parmigiana and Veggie pasta. Ceaser salad made at table side and was very good. Ziti came out very good with meatballs and sausage. Veggie pasta was also very good. Chicken parm was not hot and Jose made me a new one which was way better. Came with ziti with a nice red sauce. Tiramisu for dessert was ok and frozen in spots. Prices reasonable.

Yelp
Having never been to Don Vito's, I was indecisive about where to have my birthday dinner. I live in Green Valley Ranch and was having a relaxing day off so wasn't sure I wanted to drive to South Point when I have so many options close to home, but we ended up making our way to Don Vito's and from the moment I spoke to the host at the stand I knew I would enjoy the restaurant, he set the tone, with his warm hospitality and greetings when we entered. Onto the food, the bread served upon receiving drinks was delicious, it's served with a side of bruschetta with chunks of garlic, for starters we ordered their meatballs which are made with veal & pork10/10, mozzarella fritti 8/10, which was breaded mozzarella fried served with marinara and we also ordered the basket of garlic bread, honestly we could have done without the garlic bread as the complementary bread was better in my opinion. For my main, I ordered the special, an 8oz Filet served with mushrooms, lobster risotto and haricot verts, the filet was great, I did order I side of bourbon sauce for my Filet which was an additional $5. Hubby had the lasagna 9/10, my daughter had the homemade cheese raviolis 8/10, I love that each entree is served with either a Caesar or soup. After the experience I had here last night, I would place Don Vito's in my top 3 Italian restaurants in Vegas, not necessarily because of the food, which don't get me wrong , the food was great, but the fact that everyone genuinely seemed like they were happy to serve you, it reminded me of how Vegas was when I was growing up. The bonus is the food being delicious and not overpriced.

Yelp
We have been walking passing Don Vito's for many years. Finally for the first time we went there for our wedding anniversary. We had reservations and were seated promptly at our time. The host was helpful and gave us the table we liked. The traditional interior decoration is always very attractive to me. We are locals but the warm vibe made us feel like we were on vacation. We were served with a beautiful and scrumptious basket of bread with a dish of delicious chunky tomato, garlic sauce quickly. Stuffed clams appetizer were off the chart delicious. My linguine with clams was so tasty and I scraped my plate clean. Penny bolognese, lasagna were absolutely amazing. All pasta comes with hand tossed Caesars salad or soup of choice. Pan seared salmon was good as well. We had one very delicious lemon dessert to share with. Throughout our dinner the service was amazingly excellent! Those serving staff worked in such a professional manner. We also received a greeting card to congratulate our wedding anniversary. We had great time and walked out happy. Don Vito's is now on top of our favorite list.

Yelp
My first experience at Don Vito's was for their New Year's eve dinner special. They have a set 3 course menu for $59. Plus for every 2 people you have you can get 1 bottle of Rodney Strong red or white wine. The restaurant is a bit dark inside, but not so dark that I needed to use my phone light for the menu. I also had studied the menu before I arrived. It was also pretty warm im the restaurant. I would say this is the reason I couldn't give a higher rating because I needed to step out to the bathroom for air a few times. The bathroom is in the casino not too far away. Maybe it was the wine or the body heat, but I had to use my menu as a fan. The four of us ordered a variety of items but my favorite appetizer was the Pear with Prosciutto, favorite meal was the Pasta with Lobster and Shrimp (Pasta Pescatora) and favorite dessert was the cream puffs (blissful puffs). This was all paired with the Rodney Strong wine. I really enjoyed myself in good company with my friends on new years eve. I will definitely try this place again.

Yelp
We decided to try this place as our nice dinner for the last night in town for a tournament...it seemed like a good place to end a fun weekend after having heard so many wonderful reviews! But what really irked me...was how LONG we waited. We were seated for almost an hour and a half before getting our salads. I saw a group of 8 get seated after us, get their food before us, and leave much earlier than we did. Our group was seated around 7:15 and yet we didn't get our main course till almost 9:30. At that point, most of us weren't hungry anymore since we could only sip on water for so long between the bread and salad. It didn't help that our server had attitude with us when we asked for an update on our food. Also, one of our members had an allergy to eggs: she asked our server if the meatballs had eggs, to which he answered no, then her meal was replaced with a simple meat sauce in a bowl with no notice to her because the chef "told them last minute" that the recipe did in fact involve eggs. The supervisor came over to tell us they were working on it and we'd get desserts on the house, but at this point we really just wanted our dinner and to go to bed...regardless, we still left a 20% tip because we weren't really sure what caused the delay, we were just tired and hungry. Otherwise, I enjoyed the wine!

Yelp
I'll start by saying the food was decent, not a whole lot of flavor. We had a group of 6, one being my 5 year old grandson. We asked if they had a children's menu, they don't. So while we were ordering my SIL went to Steak and Shake to get him a burger and fries. While he was eating, a woman came to our table and I'm assuming she was the acting manager. She stood at our table awkwardly asking if everything was ok. Then proceeded to tell us they don't allow outside food in their restaurant. We told her there was no children's menu. THEN, she told us there are "kid-friendly" dishes "you just have to look" or ask the waiter. She continued to stand there staring at us and my daughter said, "do you want us to leave" to which she replied no. However she still stood there, and at this point, none of us knew why. Like was she expecting us to rip the burger out of the 5 year old's hand and throw it away? She finally disappeared and came back after some time to tell us it was ok "this one time". At the end of our meal came back and said "sorry for the misunderstanding". There was no misunderstanding, we heard her loud and clear, It wasnt adults sitting at the table eating food from within SOUTHPOINT, it was our 5 year old.. When we come to Southpoint, we always eat at Don Vito's and spend quite a bit of money, as does the rest of our bowling group of friends. No more. I'm only giving this one star, because I have to in order to post my review.

Yelp
I recently stayed at the SouthPoint Hotel and Resort and had a tasty meal at Din Vito's. Italian restaurant. I walked in on a Tuesday night around 8pm and the place was about 3/4 full. I started with a meatball appetizer and finished with veal parmigiana. The service was excellent as our table had a main server, water attendant, and a helper walking around and always available. The ceaser salad was amazing and a rather large portion size too. I recommend this Italian restaurant when staying at South Point.

Yelp
Writing this while I'm still here because I'm just astounded. Had the worst Veal Parmesan I've ever had. The meat itself (without any of the cheese or sauce) had a bitterness to it. Almost a faint taste of ammonia. Yes. It was THAT horrid. Not sure what amazes me more, the fact it was so bad, or when they take it away, with about three bites gone, they don't even think to ask if there was a problem. A better example of being "asleep at the wheel" you'll have a hard time finding. Absolutely terrible, and an absent minded staff. Unreal. On a positive note, the decor is nice. Problem is you may want to eat something at some point. Decor only goes so far.

Yelp
Don Vito's is one of my regular Italian spots. It's been awhile since I reviewed and happy that my rating is still the same. Great menu items, something for everyone and good wine list. One of our favorite servers is Jose. He's been there awhile and gives amazing customer service. He remembers our favorite entrees and wines and you can tell he enjoys what he does. This visit my BF had the Linguine and Clams. It has lots of little neck clams in a garlicky white sauce. You can also get red sauce. I had one of my favorites, the Chicken Piccata which is perfectly sautéed in a lemon butter caper sauce. It comes with a side of pasta or vegetables. Each entree comes with a soup or Caesar salad made table side and a yummy bread basket. The restaurant is great for date night but also good for groups. Good to make reservations because they do get busy. Always a wonderful meal at Don Vito's!

Yelp
Our experience was amazing! Service was top notch, I think Ramon! Cesar salad was served table side along with a nice selection of bread. Hubby enjoyed a nice portion of pasta & meatballs. I found the HUGH veal parm to be exceptional, BEST ever! It was so tender & flavorful with plenty left over. I conveyed my content to the manager who we had the pleasure of meeting as he stopped by our table. We ended our meal with a chocolate mousse dessert! Oh yeah!

Yelp
Had a great dinner today. Service was great but there's a long wait on the entrée. Good thing they serve bread, salad or soup with your entrée. It was busy since they opened at 5pm. Good food and servings. A classic

Yelp
This was our first time to Don Vito's, and we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had Boris and Lupepe tending to us, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great recommendations to try. The ambiance was romantic and not noisy at all. The lighting is not dark but not light. It was just right, like I could see my food but needed a flash to really capture it, you know? The food, though. *chef's kiss* Absolutely delicious. For the appetizers, we had the grilled shrimp and clams. Clams beat the shrimp, but the shrimp was still good. For the entrees, my wife had the cioppino, and I the new york strip. And holy moly, the cioppino was huge and sooooo good. The strip cooked perfectly at medium rare and great. The desserts looked delicious, and the taste did not disappoint. Highly recommend for a nice family dinner or special event. We plan to return to try other items on their menu.

Yelp
So we tried again to go back hoping it would be as good as experience as the first. NO! Food was great and even hot this time so that was definitely a plus. But service was horrible 2 1/2 hours no water never saw the server. Waited forever for our initial drinks and to place our order. Had to keep asking other servers who walked by for anything we needed. We had to tell someone to please just come and give us the bill. Unacceptable. We will try again because the food was good but not sure how a restaurant in such a busy hotel has such bad service.

Yelp
Oh my goodness the food and service here is top notch. The fish was probably the best I've had. So fresh and delicious. The shrimp scampi had huge servings of shrimp. The Caesar salad was perfect and they had the traditional anchovies. They do give you a complementary bottle of wine with the purchase of two entrees so take advantage of that great perk. The crème brûlée was excellent. The layer of sugar on top was so think. I loved it. I need to come back soon.

Yelp
My friends took my husband and I to this restaurant for my Birthday. The martinis were the worst I have ever had. First I tried the dirty one which was so salty that I had to tell them I can't take it. Then I ordered a regular and it was tasteless & watery with the wrong garnish of lemon peel ! I asked for olives. Now the food was even worse! I ordered the veal with cheese & prosciutto. It was a paper thin veal with a paper thin prosciutto and cheese on top that was overcooked and wrinkly in a horrible tasting brown sauce that was supposed to be Marsala sauce! Ugh! That is all!! Ruined my birthday dinner. I didn't complain since I was a guest. My husband's was as bad. I will not go back there and do not recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Good stuff here, spaghetti and meatballs tasty. Fantastic table side made Caeser salad and among the best dirty martini I've had. Would go again.

Yelp
Italian eatery next to the steakhouse in South Point Casino. The star of the evening is the pan roasted Chilean Sea Bass (Patagonian Toothfish) with a side of pasta. The fish is garlic crusted and cooked perfectly. I had the NY strip which was cooked to a perfect medium with an equally well prepared baked potato. The Caesar salad was completed table side and very fresh. The service was good but not great. Nothing to complain about but nothing noteworthy. The server was attentive and competent. The space is clean and looks like an Italian eatery. Not the most luxurious finishes but in line with the South Point overall vibe. Overall a nice meal for a reasonable price. I would eat here again.

Yelp
Celebrated NYE 2023 with friends and ordered off the prix fixe menu. Osso buca was the best.

Yelp
My cousin and her husband took me here. It is located inside The South Point Casino just off the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant was elegant with a very simple decor. We had a reservation, so we walked right in while there were a few groups of people who were waiting for tables.  The busser was quick to serve us water and let us know that our server would be right with us to take food and drink orders. The place was very busy, but our server did come by and introduced himself and took our order very quickly. Even though the place was jammed, I didn't feel like I was rushed by my server. He was patiently going through the menu and specials of the day and explaining well throughout.  We had fried Calamari and a basket of breads for the appetizer. For my entrée, I got Chicken Marsala which came with sautéed mushrooms. My cousin got a special of the day: Fillet Mignon with grilled shrimp, and her husband got a bowl of Cioppino. We also ordered Penne Bolognese to be shared. Each of us also had Caesar Salad tossed tableside that came with our entrées.  All the food came out at a very reasonable time and as hot as well as delicious, considered it was a busy night for them.  Overall, Don Vito's served good portion sizes of amazing quality at a reasonable price. I'm glad that my cousin brought me here. With quality service and great appetizers and meals, I look forward to inviting friends and family to revisit them.

Yelp
YUM YUM YUM. We treated ourselves here that's for sure. Impeccable service and food is to die for. I almost never make it to dessert but I made an exception here. Sea bass was perfectly cooked as well as the steak. Romantic vibes for sure.

Yelp
We dined here last night Valentine's . We've ate here many times but this time I was disappointed. They've always been very accommodating, but not this time. I asked for cioppino, which I know is not on the menu but the chef always makes it for me, every time. Last night, I was told no by the waiter, so I had to order something different. Don vito's was my favorite restaurant, but unfortunately I will not be dining here anymore. I'm sure I'll find another favorite restaurant. There's just so many choices out there.

Yelp
This place is pretty fancy. There are a few places in South Point that are really nice. Don Vito's is one of them. We had to wait for an hour. This was slightly annoying because they did not really take a name and phone number down to let us know when a table was ready. We had to keep track. We had some nice people serving us. We got the Chilean Sea Bass. This was cooked perfect. I can't even tell you how good this was. I think it was the best one that I ever had. They have this really good tomato dip that they give you with your bread. It had diced tomatoes, garlic cloves, and olive oil. We loved it so much that we asked for another one. I think this is a good restaurant. It is perfect for a date. The food here is really good.

Yelp
I got the Veal Marsala and penne pasta. Wife had chicken marmalade and my son had the 5 cheese ravioli. The ONLY thing that had any flavor. The Ravioli didnt seem to have any cheese and tasted more like flour than the sause or cheese. Both Marshall's were very bland. The penne pasta was exactly what you would expect from buying great value stuff from Walmart. Service here was great and the staff was very kind and professional, but when you go to a nice place and know you are paying premium prices you expect the food to be good or at least decent. After 4 days in Vegas and eating out for every meal, This was hands down the worst food we found and that includes judging it with fast food and that Seatle based coffee place. Don't waste you time or money with Don Vitos. You taste buds deserve better.

Yelp
Beautiful place all around, great food and service. They offer plenty of choices for all. I had a shrimp cocktail which was so generous with 4 extra large shrimp also the eggplant with a pear salad and an expresso martini and it was all amazing but the tiramisu took the trophy for myself. My husband had shrimp cocktail, lasagna and the Italian Caesar salad. Our 2 guests had other entrees and they also were generous and simply wonderful. Our server and his assistant were on top of everything we could have needed. I love it here and will be back!

Yelp
It's a quiet place. We got there right at our opened. Our server Sammy and his busboy Francisco were awesome! Super friendly and quick to clear the table when required. My husband and I shared a plate, chicken Parmigiano and penne pasta. They charged an extra $10 for that but we got a full chicken breast each of us and they split the pasta between us, as well at the salad.. The food was delicious!! It's an economic way of doing it financially, especially since we're older and don't really eat as much as we used. Great dinner experience.

Yelp
Been to Southpount lots of times but only recently tried this place. I have been missing out. Friendly staff, quick service, yummy food. Ordered the Chioppino and it was phenomenal. Only reason for 4 star review is because the class in the soup did not open but could not complain too much because the rest was so good. Will definitely go again!

Yelp
One of the best dining experiences we have ever had! 5 stars across the board beginning with very pleasant and accommodating hostess. Food and service were flawless.

Yelp
I love Don Vito's. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular. The ambiance is wonderful.
