"Don Vito’s at South Point will serve a three-course meal including a bottle of the wine of the month for every two people, available for $45 from 4 to 10 p.m. Dinner starts with a choice of zucchini fritters, batter dipped, golden grown with provolone dipping sauce; tortelli di zucca with pumpkin filled ravioli in lemoncello cream; Vito’s antipasto chopped salad, folded with Italian vinaigrette; or butternut squash soup with crème fraiche. Entrée choices include herb-roasted young turkey with giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes; maple-glazed ham and baked acorn squash with cranberry relish and green beans; barolo-braised beef short ribs with fresh vegetables and herbs with sage polenta and seasoned vegetables; porchetta, a slow roasted suckling pig, rolled and seasoned with italian herbs and spices, Yukon gold mashed potatoes or maple-glazed yams and green beans; or seafood cannelloni, made of shrimp, scallops, and crab, glazed in pasta shells with tomato beurre blanc with seasoned vegetables.Dessert choices include Italian custard with macerated seasonal berry topping; brown sugar hazelnut bars, topped with Nutella and roasted hazelnuts or an apple cranberry tart with cinnamon whipped cream, served with tea or coffee." - Susan Stapleton
