DOPO Pizza & Pasta

Great service, was told about some of the happy hour specials by the host when we were sat, knowledgeable! Didn’t get anything happy hour but the deals were good. We got the Panna Fresca and added the spicy sausage along with the Marg pizza. The sausage in the pasta was good, seemed quality!! However the pasta to sausage ratio was a bit off, LOTS of sausage for the amount of noodles. For fresh handmade noodles, they were definitely tasty, but not the best I’ve had. Always better than boxed! The pizza was phenomenal, nice crispy crust, perfect amount of cheese and I loved the sliced fresh basil on top. Our server was attentive and when we told her we hadn’t been before we got a little tour of the menu which I love. Overall cute place!! Healed the part of me craving pasta.

My new favorite spot downtown. Perfect flavor Neapolitan style pizza. (Fig + Pig). We also had dessert and espresso "thank you for using a real espresso machine." We sat outside, lounge atmosphere, sunshades ,and lots of greenery. Service was top notch. You can tell the staff loves what they do. They really did a great job designing what was once there before them. P.s thanks for being open for the 4th of July

It is hard to put into words…ate more than we should have and it was absolutely worth it! Went to the midtown location for the first time last week for a date with my husband. It was Sunday night which typically isn’t a super busy time for Midtown and we were lucky to snag the last two open seats by the bar. Loved it so much we bought 3 gift cards for friends (was particularly impressed and surprised by the number of vegan options on the menu) and ordered a pizza today at the RPM location. Just go for yourself and see why everyone is talking about it.

Some of the best pizza, pasta, service and atmosphere I've ever had. Loved it so much I went back again. The photo is from the 2nd time I went with just my cheese-pizza-loving daughter. I wish I got some pics the 1st time with all the pizzas and pasta and drinks we got. It was great. So great, I didn't want to bother looking at my phone I guess.

Just about an hour ago I ordered a New York pizza, spaghetti with meatballs and Cesar salad online. The service was fine, although they don't have salt packets. The intensionally selected the "crispy" button on the website, it wasn't. The ranch was very watery, Cesar dressing was good. The spaghetti was FLAVORLESS. The meatball had decent flavor. Basically all items needed salt or to be cooked more. All the pictures online show char on the pizza crust, not ours. Was super excited about this place after reading the reviews. Maybe I will attempt it another time, but it wasn't good this time.

Don't sleep on one of Reno's best pizza joints in town. Their pizza selections are both familiar and bold. The Fig and Pig is not to be missed. The cocktails are hand crafted and made to order; quite delicious. What also really shines is the stellar service; how refreshing to have such friendly, down to earth service in Midtown. Highly recommend. Grab one of the outdoor tables for a nice warm evening with a breeze.

The pizza was delicious! From the sauce to the dough 10/10. They have the best risotto in the entire city of Reno. The servers were friendly, quick to help and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Best pizza I’ve had in months!! The overall experience was top notch. The barkeep recommended a glass of wine and it was incredible. But the pizza freaking slapped!!! I got the Tony’s NYC. Just yes! The sauce was the best part and it had the cool pepperonis that curl up. Initially I was bummed that the bar didn’t have a tv but then it led to having some fun conversation with the barkeep and one of the other guests. Great time! Great wine! GREAT pizza!! Edit: I had to come back for a second visit before heading back home to NC. It didn’t disappoint. It was possibly even better than I remembered. Food, wine, service, experience all wonderful. Thank you.

We were in town for leisure and a buddy recommended this place. They're very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival they greeted us and sat us down. Weather was perfect but we opted for indoor seating. Our server was Colleen (apologies if I'm butchering your name) She was very pleasant and happy to help us. We had the Tony pizza and the bison spaghetti. The focaccia bread was also made in house. Below are photos of what we had. I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed their music variety playing softly in the background but not overwhelmingly loud. Thanks for the great food and service.

Inconsistent. First time I went the pizza was on par with the best pizza I have ever had in Reno. The crust was perfect. The seasoning was perfect. It was an explosion of flavor. The second time I went the crust was burnt and the seasoning was poor. It was on par with a frozen pizza. For the price I expect a consistent homerun every time. I will not be back ;).

I love Dopo Pizza so much I spent an entire summer trying to recreate their Italian cream soda at home after just one visit. That should tell you everything. My go-to pizzas are the Fig + Pig and the Cherrypicker, but honestly, every pizza I've tried here has been on point. The flavor and creativity is always a win. I've tried the bolognese pasta too, and while it was good, it just didn't stand out the way their pizzas do. If you're heading here, definitely go for the pizza, grab a dessert, and try one of their fun drinks. I've sat at the bar and at a cozy little table, and both times the service was warm, attentive, and consistent. The space is buzzing with energy and full of happy diners, but it somehow still manages to feel intimate and welcoming. It's the kind of place you can visit with friends or on a casual date night and always have a great time.

So happy to have them in Downtown!!! They moved into the the Sizzle Pie location on Center and Pine. It's a nice big space for them with a lovely outdoor patio. We have been here now a couple of times and have never been disappointed by either the service or the quality of food. The pizzas are fresh and tasty with a wide range of ingredients. Arugula on a pizza? I was skeptical, but it was really good. They serve a variety of healthy fresh options and you can "make your own". Good drinks, good service, good food. Oh yea, we will be back.

Kind staff, quick service, large - high ceilings inside with industrial air and great patio seating when weather permits. Food! Wow! Pizza was perfect mix of light/airy/crispy/chewy! Cherry picker pizza=10 Lemoniso risotto=7.5-8 Caesar salad=7.5 We will be back! **Updated to add that we ate in restaurant 7/12/2025 right at opening time of 4pm.

I love the new location! Perfect spot for date night! We went with friends and had some pizza and pasta. Everything on their menu sounds so good so it's hard to decide what to get. The cherry picker is my favorite pizza. Everything is made super fresh and you can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients. Our server was nice and took good care of us. We ordered drinks from the bar too--- they were good but they weren't the star of the show. Can't wait to be back and try more of their amazing pastas! The food pics speak for themselves, you'll see!

Our friends brought us here the other night. When we walk I wasn't happy because my husband and I were here before and it was terrible. But our friends said it used to be sizzle pie. We were seated immediately and I notice the decor was much nicer. Our server was very informative and it sounded like she had tried most of the food. She helped us pick a red blend wine which was delicious and our husbands had beer. We got the burrata appetizer. It came with toasted bread which went well with the burrata. We ordered Tony's NYC and fig + pig pizza along with panna Fresca pizza. To much food! But we wanted to try different things. So Good!

I really like Dopo! The cocktails and pizza do kind of make me feel like I'm back in Italy. I really like the assortment of Spritz you can choose from and that the staff will talk you through the differences in them. And both the interior and exterior of the restaurant has a very relaxed vibe which is nice. My only drawback is needing a code for the restroom. It somehow makes me feel like it brings down the elevation of the restaurant a bit. But like I said, that's my ONLY drawback.

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I were craving pizza so I suggested DOPO because I had heard great things. We were shocked when we found out how affordable and delicious all of our selections were. They make their pasta in house and it was cooked to perfection. We weren't even planning on ordering a pasta dish but it came highly recommended by our waitress. We got the pomodoro & pulpette which was a bison-wagyu meatball and spaghetti. It was divine! We split this as well as the pig & fig pizza...what a great combo! We will definitely be back to sample more of their menu and to enjoy their patio.

Such a cute lil welcoming pizza spot! We got lucky and came just in time to be seated for two. Friendly manager and hostess sat us right away. Our server Ray was great and made recommendations for our first visit. Kaya was also very helpful during our visit. The burrata was accompanied by pesto and balsamic and the focaccia bread was so good! At first look my thought was: oh no, garlic bread-thick and heavy but it was so soft and airy. It was even perfect on its own without topping it with creamy burrata. Pizza was also good! Probably the best pizza I've tasted. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Good down to the crust. This is their last weekend at this location, they're moving to a bigger spot less than a mile away..this alone says a lot about this place..I definitely recommend Dopo if you're ever in Reno.

We love Dopo! We always get the focaccia with the stracciatella or the burrata. My current favorite is the Cherry Picker pizza, but my all time favorites that aren't currently on the menu are the Grasshopper and La Bianca. Their drinks are always amazing as well! Our server, Colleen, is the best! We always try to sit in her section when we can! Also, the patio at their new location is beautiful!

I recently ordered takeout from Dopo Pizza on center st. and overall, it was a great experience with just a couple of hiccups. I placed my order online for pickup--Tony's NY Pizza and a classic Margherita. One thing that could be improved: I never received any notification or estimated time for pickup, which left me a little unsure about when to head over. The online system says that you'll receive a text when it's in progress and another when it's ready. I did not get any messages or updates and even as I'm writing this the website still has not updated. When I did arrive, about 30 minutes after placing the order, the pizzas were barely warm - I could tell they had been sitting out for a while. However, they were still good. Tony's NY Pizza came with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and oregano. The crust was perfect for my taste - thin, slightly chewy, and not hard to fold. The balance of flavors was solid, with the toppings complementing each other nicely without being overwhelming. The Margherita was simple but well done--fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil. The ingredients tasted fresh and clean, and the crust held up well without getting soggy. All in all, the pizza itself was excellent, and I'd definitely go back. Just a little more clarity on pickup timing and it would've been a 5-star experience.

This was my first visit to their new location. Love the new restaurant especially the patio that they've screened off from the busy street. They still are serving the same great foods with an expanded menu. We had the focaccia with burrata, caprese salad and pasta Fresca with chicken added. Everything was delicious and service was great. Love this restaurant!

This place was a home run! From the food to the service, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My husband and I met up with friends, and we loved everything! The pizza dough was fresh and elevated the flavors of the pizzas. We ordered the Fig and Pig and Tony's Pizza, and each bite was perfection. We also ordered pasta Bolognese and burrata as an appetizer to share. The fresh pasta was amazing, and the sauce-to-pasta ratio made every bite flavorful. I wish we had gotten more bread for the burrata, but we finished every last bit. I will definitely be back to try some of the other pizzas. This place is truly a gem in the heart of Midtown.

We tried DOPO for the first time at a family dinner outing. This was my first time being to this location since it was sizzle pie and I really like what they did to the property. The patio area looked very nice and had a fire pit area which looked good. The inside looked very classy and I liked that you can see them making your pizza and other food. We got the Focaccia with Burrata and Caesar salad for an appetizer. The Focaccia bread was very soft and delicious and mixed with the Burrata was a perfect combo. The Caesar was good but next time I'd just order two burratas they were that good. We then shared the Panna Fresca with chicken and Tony's NYC pizza. The Alfredo sauce was very garlicky which I love and the pasta which is made in house was perfectly cook. The Pizza was very fresh and the dough was airy and crispy with very little flop. Overall our experience was great from the food, service and atmosphere of the restaurant.

DOPO has definitely stepped it up at their new location! The patio had a great relaxing vibe. Their service was excellent- everyone from the host, waitress, bus boy, chefs - all were so friendly and quick to assist! The food came out fast and was cooked very well. We went for their special so were extra happy to get a good deal - otherwise a bit pricy for the size of the pies but I guess comparable to other pizzas in the area. Would love to see some new creative menu items come through in future. Hope to come back on one of their live music nights!

I was feeling hangry after not eating for approximately 6 hrs, then I experienced Dopo! Although busy I was encouraged to sit at the bar, and then the wonderful bartenders worked their magic! I had a cup of olives and some almonds served to me immediately as a result of me informing the staff my blood sugar was falling. Then a Magherita pizza, spicy mango margarita, Revision IPA magically appeared within minutes of ordering. The customer service is crazy great, awesome and attentive staff made our experience pleasant and memorable! The restaurant was clean with a smooth vibe . The pizza was delicious and the margarita was fantastic. Thank you Eric, Gracie, and Rey. We found our new spot.

Upon our visit to the food hall we grabbed a pizza from DOPO the super yummy delicious one and it was super yummy and delicious. I personally thought the crust bordered on too salty but it was still really good. The people who took are order were very nice and friendly. I would definitely get something from here the next time I'm in the food hall. Maybe try some pasta or something.

Went for the aperitivo hour (happy hour) to enjoy a few glasses of wine and grub on a cheese pizza. They have a great selection on wine and the cheese pizza was excellent. We've been there several times already but the reason for the review was the service. Our waiter was very informative and knowledgeable when we asked him about the different wine options. He was always there to make sure everything tasted well and if we had any more questions. Lastly, I love the new location. The outdoor patio is so cozy and love all of the greenery. They do have indoor seating but with the weather getting warmer, it's a perfect time to enjoy being outside. We'll definitely be back for more wine and pizza!

We came on a busy Monday night so we sat at the bar to avoid the wait. We were welcomed as soon as we came in and the servers were nice enough to explain the menu to us as this was our first time coming. All the staff were so friendly! The portions were great considering the prices and the food tasted amazing. I highly recommend trying their house made ranch with the pizza!

The Outside Ambiance is beautiful, unfortunately it's also 3x the wait so they sat us inside. In itself not bad, except we were sat right and I mean right under the speaker and it was very loud. My family could not hold a conversation for long, because we had to scream on top of another and still didn't understand each other. Our server was really sweet, it is important to note though that the food and drinks took a while to come out (30-45min). Pizza was delicious. Also they don't have it on the menu officially, but you can order a Lemonade which is just Lemons and water (no sugar) - so definitely sour if you like it. Overall pretty expensive for the experience we got, which was underwhelming.

Friendly staff. Pizza was 9/10. Pasta was a solid 8. Budino was 100/10. Red blend wine was delish. Highly recommend, we were tourists and very impressed with the quality.

Pizza was baked perfectly and tasted great. The location has a fun ambiance. Service as attentive and good.

We sat outside at bar tables on a perfect night & had really great service by our gal (Sarah I think?) - she was so knowledgeable & fun! Obsessed with the pasta and appreciated the tip to add meatballs. Tony's NYC pizza (housemade tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, oregano) was also bomb. We were in a meaty mood, clearly. So yum!!! Thank you guys!!

Four of us went there last Friday night at 5:30 for dinner. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. They said our weight was about 35 minutes so we walked across the street for cocktails. Having not heard from them, we checked in 45 minutes later. I set a table just became available. Unfortunately, they put four at a table in the middle of the room. As I looked around, I saw we were the only party of four at such a small table. We had an appetizer, shared a salad and ordered two pizzas. The apetizer was good and so was the salad. When the pizzas arrived, our table was filled to capacity. It almost made you feel claustrophobic with such a little space. Overall, the pizzas were OK but not stellar. The tiramisu I had for dessert was pretty tasty. It's hard to talk about ambience because it was so noisy, you couldn't hear. I'm not even sure if they had music playing in the background. If I go back, perhaps I'll try to pick a slower time when I can get a bigger table and check out the atmosphere.

Everyone I spoke to always had great things to say about this place and I finally made the time to come and check out myself. And let's just say that the hype is real! This place definitely lives up to its reputation. The restaurant is not very big and its prominent features are its bar near the front and open kitchen in the back. I also really loved the wall across the bar with the many pictures of people enjoying the pizza. We were there fairly early and it was not busy, so we were greeted and seated very promptly. We started off with some wine and a Hugo Spritz, which was very refreshing, and ordered a caesar salad. The salad was a simple and classic version of a caesar salad and I really loved that about it. For our main entrees we ended up going with the Pappardelle Speciale and Fig + Pig Pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of pancetta for the pasta, but instead of substituting with another protein, the waitress recommended we not add anything. Ultimately, that was a great call and the pasta was so good that I didn't think not having the pancetta took anything away from the dish. However, I still would love to try it with pancetta someday. The pizza was perfectly cooked and the ingredients super well balanced, on top of that I am just a sucker for a pizza topped with delicious fresh arugula. We did not save room for dessert unfortunately but based on this experience this will definitely not be the last time we come here. There were many things on the menu I still want to try so I will definitely be back.

After my friends forced me to go back to the restaurant and to give it a second chance, I can say my experience with the staff has been excellent since. All the pizzas we have tried are amazing as expected. Truly a 5-star experience. Averaging it with the 3, I'll give this place a 4.

Amazing pizza - it's all about the dough, fantastic! Their homemade ranch is a must. I tried the Ultima cocktail which is similar to a Last Word (one of my favorites) - delicious! Small portion of salad was plenty for two. Service was excellent and we're looking forward to visiting their new location in a couple weeks!

We ended up at Dopo Pizza by pure chance after waiting for almost an hour and a half at a nearby restaurant without being served. We decided to walk around and stumbled upon this gem, and I'm really happy we did! Despite being packed, we were promptly seated, and the bartender was fantastic. She was super friendly and took our order right away. We got the Grasshopper pizza, and it was delicious. The arugula was fresh, and the asparagus was perfect on the pizza. I was so hungry that I didn't get a chance to take a photo, but next time, I'll definitely take more pictures because there will be plenty of visits to Dopo Pizza in my future. Highly recommended!

Why, in the name of all that is good and gluten, had I never gone to Dopo before last week? What a wonderful restaurant: the service is friendly but not overbearing, and the atmosphere is lively but homey and comfortable too. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were wonderful--I'm a sucker for homemade pasta, and I was thrilled to have a tasty giant meatball on top of al dente pasta in a homemade red sauce. I also had a slice of my friend's fig pizza, which had a tasty crust and wasn't drowning in cheese--instead, the cheese complemented the toppings and the crust. I will be going back very soon. What a great place!

Went last fall at the other location and loved it . Had great pasta and pizza, but the atmosphere was the clencher. Cozzy and fun. So we were back this week and it's a new location which is still in a nice spot, but the atmosphere isn't as good when comparing it to it's former. It's understandable why they moved.... A larger location with a better kitchen, but in the end, it's about the experience and it wasn't as intimate and good. I suppose, that's the trade off when you "grow". Plus the menu was a little different and they didnt have the same pasta options as before. I was so impressed with the previous pasta I had, I couldn't wait to get it again, but it was gone, so I ordered their fettuccine dish and added mushrooms. Well, the fettuccine wasn't quite the traditional cut of fettuccine. Much thinner, like a thicker linguine. Plus it was a tad too al dente. It was still good, but the dish lacked the finesee I had experienced before and it was a minor let down. I still recommend this place, but I sincerely hope they strive to maintain the quality they had when they were smaller and wanted it. It's gut check time.

Full disclosure: before coming to DOPO, we walked into a different eatery nearby but the cold & gloomy atmosphere caused us to get the hell out of Dodge. It was a relief to step into lively, inviting DOPO where we were greeted warmly. Edison string lights hung on exposed wooden beams & steel chairs & bar stools make DOPO fun & modern. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in this place for a spell. My party ordered: -- Pappardelle Bolognese ($22): ricotta lent a creaminess to the ground beef & pork but the flavor overall was lacking oomph. -- Tony's NYC: we 86'ed the Italian sausage, effectively making this a simple but tasty pepperoni pizza. -- Fig + Pig ($22): one of my favorite pizza combo that doesn't involve marinara; prosciutto, fig preserves, arugula, melty mozzarella & parmesan, & finished with shaved parm. Salty & sweet. -- Italian Cream Soda ($6): a bubbly, creamy, delicious strawberry soda. Get this! DOPO's got pizza, pasta, & tons of character!

Pizza is good and the vibes are good and the place is in a good location and it's got good staff and good decorations and the salad was good too.

This was my first time trying DOPO and it did not disappoint. It's small, but really feels like you're eating at a friend's house which we loved. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful when we asked what her favorite dish was. We weren't in the drinking mood so we ordered some Italian Sodas and they were very refreshing. I also order the Fettucini Panna with chicken and it was rich and tasty. We'll be coming back to try their pizza soon!

DOPO was surprisingly good and it was busy on an off night. I've been two times with a group. We shared some pizzas that were good. I had the spaghetti with meatball one time and the Pappradelle Bolognese the next time. The quality is excellent. The staff were really attentive. We bought some bottles of wine and brought some. Their wine selection is decent and their policy on corkage is generous.

Pizza was delicious very light and great vibes! DOPO has a great patio area. Service was fast and delicious!

A little pricey but what is not these days? If you go between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. they have some specials such as a $10 pizza which was very good. Definitely hipster vibes. Think Portland.

What a cute little spot in midtown! We were seated right away on a Monday evening. Everyone we encountered was super friendly! They have an extensive wine menu and some fun cocktails. However, if you're more of a beer drinker like my husband they only had 2 draft offerings. We started with the focaccia and burrata spread which was to die for! Probably the best thing we had! We split a Tony's NYC pizza and the gnocchi. Both were very good. Pizza felt like it had a kick to it, which i wish they warned about on the menu but maybe it was just us. Overall we had a lovely evening and will definitely be back to try more! And to try their 2 for Tuesday special! Parking could be difficult since its just street parking, especially on fridays or saturdays.

One of our favorite restaurants in town, and now in a new and improved location. Top tier pizza, excellent drink selection, great service.

Dopo really impressed us. We ordered the Cherry Picker pizza and the Burrata with Focaccia, and both dishes were delicious. The Cherry Picker had such a good balance of sweet and savory--those cherries and cheese were next level. The burrata was incredibly fresh, and the warm focaccia it came with was the perfect match. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxed but stylish, and everything felt well thought out. Can't wait to come back and try more!

We had such a fun time at this little spot. Our server was phenomenal. She was informative, gave her opinions and consistently checked in on us to make sure we were having a great first experience. The risotto was so flavorful. We also shared the cherry picker pizza and added chicken. Definitely want to come back and try some other dishes. We came right before happy hour ended and tried ordering their house red. We were told their house red gets shipped directly from Italy and it was on back order for the last month. Hopefully get to try it soon!

My Fiancé and I are from California, we come to Reno once a month to visit my brother who goes to UNR. DOPO is a must have when we're here! It's our absolute fav!! The food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant's ambiance is further enhanced by edgy music and handcrafted cocktails, setting the mood for a relaxed dining experience. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly every time we come too! We have yet to find a place like this in California. We can't wait for the Summer, I'll be bringing my mom and other family members here too. Loving their new location as well! Did not have any trouble finding parking.

No shot pizza take 40 mins to get one out. Nice servers atleast, don't come here if you're hungry.

Service was fantastic, came here for a date night and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. It gets packed, so we had to wait quite a bit, but well worth it. The duck pasta was super rich and creamy and very filling. And the pizza was delicious. They had a special on their branded red wine so we chose that and it paired excellently. Definitely recommend

It's been awhile since we've stopped in for dinner and decided to go on a Friday night. The service and friendliness was stellar! Erik and Melina took care of us and both were absolutely kind, genuine and attentive. Tony's NYC pizza is one of the best pizzas we've had in town ...great fresh flavors and a delicious crust. Their Caesar salad was also very well prepared with crisp greens and a well-seasoned dressing with perfect crunchy croutons. The place was already busy by the time we got there at 5:30 and full of happy patrons. It's a fun place to be.

We've eaten at DOPO pizza for years when they were on California Ave. and we lived here. We Just loved the place. We were back in Reno and decided to go there again. When we saw they had moved we went to the new place on Center St. You can eat inside or outside and being a cool evening we selected inside. Upon entering the noise level was very loud and thus decided to brave the cool outside. Once seated we decided on the Cherry Picker pizza. It took a little while but the ambiance outside was wonderful and we could carry on a conversation. When our pizza came we were both surprised and a little disappointed. The pie was cut into six slices and there was a total of just 7 cherry tomatoes on the pie, one on each piece and one in the middle and a single Baratta cheese core on each slice. The pizza was still good but we felt like they had skimped on the toppings. They had only been open at this new location for a two weeks. We hope they cure the noise problem and go back to making pie with a little more toppings as we remember at the other location.

The pizza, quality, atmosphere, the drinks and service was great. The pizza was a miss for me. I will be back to try other offerings in the menu. My coworker recommended this establishment for us.

Quickly becoming a favorite spot for my husband and I! We've been twice now and from the fabulous service to the fantastic food, we've been impressed both go around. The vibes are great--with a clean aesthetic, open kitchen and lively patrons. It's not too loud but loud enough to feel the buzz. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
