This place was really nice. The ladies were extremely nice and accommodating to my family and I. They put us on to the bean soup and an egg that was in a cast iron small pot. It was real good with the rice. Steak was tender but could have been more seasoned. Great experience overall.

Very Honest Reviews

Google
Tasty Korean restaurant on Northern Blvd! We came with 8 people and split into 2 tables and each table got the Chef Special to split between 4 people. We got a mix of squid, pork and chicken, with added ramen, and fried rice. Our table got the “non-spicy” version but it still had a decent kick to it. Great meal if you are planning to split family style. If you try to order this with 2 people, you will be stuffed! The staff were super nice, cooked the meal for us on the grill on our table, and were very interactive.

Google
Really enjoyed the food, but if you've never had it before, be prepared for a spicy hot experience. We got 2 orders for 3 people and added a bunch of things to the order, like rice cakes. We added the fried rice at the end (before we finished the food) and had leftovers.

Google
Great place to eat for 2, or a big group. Got their spicy chicken with rice cake, fried rice and cheese. The aunties there were super friendly and constantly going up and down the tables, you may not even have to ask to replenish your banchan! It’s honestly a lot of food, and I really enjoyed every bite

This restaurant is delicious and amazing. You get so much variety and quality is high end. They cook the food for you and the staff is super friendly. I recommend the pork belly and chicken stir fry. It’s must go place.

After four years of searching, I finally found and return to this restaurant. As far as I could remember, nothing has changed. While the restaurant itself is small with few tables, you'll soon forget it after eating the food. Obviously, you need to come for the pancake. However, note that you need to order a minimum of 2 servings. The servings are VERY large, so definitely bring a family or friend and an empty stomach. You may order appetizers and entrees. As tasty and beautiful they are, it'll fill you up, making you unable to finish the main course. On a side note, you do not need experience to cook the pancake. The waitress, or was that the manager, will help assist. She'll cook the food to perfection, adding any sauce/flavoring you want, and help you cut and serve too!

Google
pretty solid food - would give 3.5/5 stars loved the kimchi pancake. did not really like the main dish… it felt like it was lacking flavor and salt. the fried rice at the end though was fire. the food was a lot and too filling :( even for the portion of 2, it can feed 4-6 people the staff was friendly and super attentive. expect to spend about 40 dollars after tip and tax per person with a full course the area has a lot of different restaurants so the options are there

Google
We had a fantastic time with friends and family, enjoying delicious food throughout the evening. The fried rice and ramen with chicken were amazing, and the cold soba noodles were a perfect way to conclude the dinner. The staff and owner were incredibly attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 6 for my birthday and it was such a fun and filling meal! I made a reservation through Google and it was super quick and easy. We got 4 orders of the dak galbi with rice cakes, cheese, an order of the spicy buckwheat noodles, and fried rice at the end. I think getting 4 portions was plenty for our group and we were so full at the end. Make sure to save some room to get the fried rice at the end because it's one of the best parts of the meal! I do wish you were able to choose your spice level because it wasn't as spicy as I would've liked, but it was still good nonetheless. Service was quick and the staff was really attentive. I highly recommend coming with a group of friends because it's such a fun meal to share, and you need a minimum order of at least 2 portions. It is a bit pricey per order but that's why it's best to go with more people.

Yelp
Portions are just HUGE at this place. Came here with 3 other people and we ordered the 3 person portion. This was definitely enough for 5-6 people. The min portion order is 2 so keep that in mind Tip for girls: go on your hair wash day The waitress was really nice and made us feel really welcome. The taste of the food is average and nothing too special. Spice level was okay. I think she went lighter on us because we weren't Korean Great spot to go if you're hungry. At the end, can make it fried rice as well. I forgot to take a picture of that. We ordered the 2 portion for fried rice and it was huge as well Just huge portions here

Yelp
Have been wanting to try dak galbi for a while and glad I was able to finally come here! It was a cool experience having everything cooked fresh in front of you. While it tasted good, I wanted more depth to the flavor of the overall dish - felt like it was mainly the spice that dominated the flavor. The cheese was definitely a nice addition. Definitely leave room for the fried rice at the end! If you're not super hungry, 2 portions is probably good enough for 4 people. We got 3 portions for 4 people and were all stuffed at the end.

Yelp
HUUGE portions! Definitely need to go as a group and get less portions than there are people. The dakgalbi is very fun- they cook it right in front of you and of course the fried rice at the end is a must! The meat so super well seasoned and the ladies make sure your food is cooked perfectly. We enjoy adding toppings- rice cake, potato, even ramen! The flavors are very yummy and we've been back several times. If you are with a lot of friends, you can get a variety of meats in the same pan. Yum!

Yelp
Tiny and easy to miss, this place is a great place for groups to get yummy food in Queens. Most people know about Korean Bbq but not many people know about dak galbi. It's Korean spicy chicken cooked in front of you with cabbage, sweet potato and rice cakes. It's fun and filling, but not cheap. You have to order a minimum of 2 orders of the dak galbi ($25 each). When I come here with 4 people, I usually order 2 orders (which is the minimum) and add the fried rice for after. They also give a few banchans and an order of steamed egg. Also, don't forget to add cheese to your dak galbi for an extra layer of yumminess. Save some of the dak galbi so they mix it in with the fried rice. The rice gets nice and crispy on the hot plate just like dolsot bibimbap. The staff are nice and they cook the food for you, so you don't have to worry about not knowing what you're doing. The menu is small (they took away half their menu after Covid), but there's something for everyone.

Yelp
Convenient location on northern to grab a meal with friends. I stopped by with another friend and just got their stew since we weren't hungry enough for their dakgalbi, but everything we got was good. Will be back another day to try out their specialty!

Yelp
Dak Galbi with cheese & ramyun is SO FREAKIN BOMB. (Does anyone say bomb anymore??) Love that it comes with veggies - I was skeptical at first when they bought it out and started cooking but you must trust the process. Get regular spicy unless you want to die. We ate it twice when it was hot as hell outside so I can't wait to have this when it's cold as hell instead. This would be great comfort food in the winter for sure. Nothing like a cool bowl of Makgeolli to wash down the heat with. Don't get soda, it will make it worse. If you don't want alcohol stick with water. Unfortunately, you have to get a minimum of two orders so unless you're capable of eating a LOT like some mukbang status then go with at least one more person. I went once with my bf and another with my friend and neither of us could finish it even though it's all we ordered. Damn, I'm craving it now.

Yelp
This restaurant is perfect for a chill night eating spicy chicken with an ice cold beer. It's a no frills place and just be warned that you will need to wash your clothes at least twice to get rid of the kitchen smell but it's so worth it.

Yelp
It was time to eat some (spicy chicken). It's been awhile. They give you some delicious side dishes including the egg souffle. We asked for 2 orders among 3 people and added rice cake, udon noodles and cheese. We were very full, but asked for one bowl of rice for bbim bbim bap. Service is great and you consume plenty of delicious foods!

Yelp
Doraon specializes in spicy stir-fried chicken KBBQ. I was curious about trying this place for a long time. If you like seeing your food made to order, you get to watch them assemble the entire dish and throughout the whole cooking. After reading the other reviews, I guess the portion sizes were not huge but not so small that it bothered me. Yes, there is a lot of cabbage but I've found there's always a lot of cabbage in this kind of dish. It does lend a bit of crunchiness along with something else to mop up the spicy sauce. The sauce here is thinner than Hong Chun Cheon. Definitely be sure to add the cheese. When you're almost done with eating the chicken, I recommend asking for the fried rice. They'll cook it on the same grill along with the remaining chicken. Let it fry on the pan for a bit to get those crispy edges. I personally did not find the sauce to be that spicy. You can probably ask for them to crank up the heat if you like. It's a decent option if you're craving this kind of food or have never had it before.

Yelp
Doraon 1.5 Dak Galbi's specialty is in the name. I first tried dak galbi, or spicy stir-fried chicken, in Korea, and I loved it. This is one of the only places in NYC where you can order this dish, which seems wild to me because it's not that difficult to make. You have to order a minimum of two portions, so go with at least another person or two. The most basic version of the dak galbi comes with spicy marinated chicken and cabbage. From there, you can customize it with a bunch of toppings. I usually add rice cakes, sweet potato, and cheese. I also get it mild, because it's still decently spicy. This is a Korean place after all... I don't think they actually know what "not spicy at all" means. When you're about halfway or 2/3 through, make sure to ask for the fried rice option. Along with rice, they also bring over some kimchi, bits of seaweed, lettuce strips, and bean sprouts, which all get dumped onto the grill and mixed with whatever's still on there. With all this, the "two-portion meal" easily becomes enough for four or five meals. They also have a decent selection of banchan, and you get a tiny bubbling pot of gyeran jjim (steamed egg), one of my favorites. The dak galbi is simple yet so tasty and comforting, and it's especially perfect for winter.

Yelp
The food was decent, but service was quite shoddy. Chicken to vegetable ratio was expectedly low, but overall was decently priced since we ordered chicken for 2 with a group of 5 people. Seemed the waitress was more interested in speaking with other Korean customers than wanting to entertain my group.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant & delicious food. The portions are big & there was plenty left over for us to take home. The service is nice, they will cook for you. This is a good place to sit back hang out with friends while you enjoy some food together!

Yelp
This restaurant was definitely a unique experience. It kind of reminded me of hibachi, but instead, it is Korean and on a small grill. The place isn't too big, but it isn't too small either. There were enough seats for the restaurant to not get too crowded. My friends and I came on a Friday night around 6PM, and it wasn't too busy, so we were able to get seated easily. The waitresses are super nice, but they would push you to order more since their dishes are meant for one person (we had a party of 5). However, if we didn't want it, they wouldn't keep prying. The service was pretty fast too; we didn't have to wait long for them to come out with the food to cook. We ordered 3 dak galbis, which is a spicy chicken dish. It comes with the chicken (of course), rice cakes, sweet potatoes, and cabbage. I feel like the proportions were really odd; there was A LOT of cabbage, a moderate amount of chicken, and like 4 pieces of rice cake and sweet potatoes. I just wished there were more of an even mix. You also have the option to add different things like noodles, cheese, and fried rice after they finished cooking the meats. We decided to order a fried rice to finish off the meal and it was very delicious. Other than all of the dak galbi and fried rice, they give a few side dishes, which is great to start off with. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It was a good and different experience. I would come back another day for a special occasion, since it was a little pricy in my opinion.

Yelp
This is probably the only place in Queens that I know of which sells dak galbi, a Korean spicy chicken dish. It's unique here since it's cooked right in front of you! The restaurant has a good amount of tables and doesn't get crowded so it's not likely that you'd have to wait. The waitresses are nice and it can be a little of a language barrier but the menu does have English on it so it's okay. They're also kind of pushy to make you order more, saying that one order is for one person but it is definitely a lot. There is a minimum of 2 orders though. The dak galbi comes with chicken, a few pieces of rice cakes, a few pieces of sweet potato, and A LOT of cabbage! It cooks fairly quick and it gets really hot from being cooked right in front of you. You can add noodles, cheese, and other items as well for an extra cost. I added cheese and fried rice for the end of the meal which was very yummy. There's also a few side dishes that comes to the table which is a good, refreshing change to the hot meal. They also give a fluffy steamed egg as well. Overall I really enjoyed the meal although it was kind of pricey for what it was. It was still a good experience and yummy. They also give yakult (a small probiotic yogurt drink) at the end of the meal!

Yelp
This was my first time getting chicken galbi in Flushing. There was plenty of seating though it was around 7-8pm on a Sunday. We were seated right away for a party of 4. Every table has a built in grill in the center. The menu has so much to choose from. We ordered the chicken galbi with cheese and fried rice after. There wasn't too much variety in the side dishes though; they were mostly Pickled vegetables. We did get some steamed egg and white kimchi. Get the portion amount for 2; it goes a long way. Toward the end we recieved complimentary korean yogurts. I would give it a five star if there was more than just one bathroom.

Yelp
Love Chicken feet and Pork feet here. I always go there with my baby and the owners love my son. If the weekend is not busy I would love to go every weekend to hang out with my husband & baby.

Yelp
If you want something different then authentic Korean (banchan, rice and soup) meal, this place is worth of trying. There is a huge pan each table which can cook anything you want (usually spicy chicken but there are much more options). It's better if you go here with the group because you might want to try other things but it could be costly and you will waste leftover. You can even level up with their "hot" sauce, and cool it down with makguksoo. Don't forget to order the fried rice after dakgalbi!
google avatar

Yelp
Was feeling a little sick so I really wanted some spicy dakgalbi to clear the sinuses, so we spontaneously drove to Flushing to give this place a try. Looking at the menu I was a little surprised to find that the prices are a little higher than the prices for Hong Chun Cheon in the city, if you consider the add-ons like cheese, sweet potato, and rice cake which are already included in the price at Hong Chun Cheon. But I will say that the portion is bigger. We ended up getting two servings of dakgalbi with cheese, sweet potato, and rice cake, a kimchi jjigae, and one serving of fried rice at the end. The dakgalbi comes out with the ingredients still raw, so you know that it's really fresh. It was really excellent dakgalbi, and the cheese made it even better. I will say you might want to pass on the kimchi stew. It might have been because the dakgalbi was much more flavorful, but the kimchi stew paled in comparison in terms of flavor. We were too stuffed to make a dent in the fried rice, so we took that to-go and it ended up being a really hearty lunch the day after. Service here is really attentive and helpful. Planning to go back soon! Oh, and don't forget to ask for aprons so you don't get red stains on your clothes!

Yelp
Mmmmmmm so delicious!! This is such a hearty meal with chicken, pork, squid, cabbage, ramen, sweet potato, rice cake, cheese and fried rice. All cooked in front of you, eat right after its cooked and you can adjust your spice level. I would recommend the chicken and pork.. having the squid in there had it a little overcooked. Or the squid should be added in a little later. Other thing is.. difficult with big party because the tables are usually 4 per.. I come back here ALL THE TIME. Favorite spot, definitely check it out!!

Yelp
Disappointed experience. Don't get me wrong, the service was good but can't say the same for the food. Tbh, I was excited to come here and had this place bookmarked for a long time. But I guess my expectations was high esp after the rave from the Manhattan dak-galbi. dak galbi min order is 2. Not a problem, but the portion is sooo tiny for 2 orders. Literally can feed 1 person if you have a big stomach. The chicken amount was soo little compared to cabbage. Like I didn't pay 19$ for 3/4 of cabbage instead of chicken. Also came with tiny amount of sweet potato and maybe like 2-3 rice cakes. Tbh, the taste was also lacking, didn't taste much. Could only taste korean spicy sauce. But we added cheese, goodness we added that and it helped with some of the flavor. Decided to add rice toward the middle of the meal and couldnt taste anything than spicy red sauce. But the rice is slightly burned - added some flavor to some part of it. Kudo to the servers for cooking it. They were also friendly and give us a lot of personal space to talk instead of standing there the whole time during the cooking time. Overall, this is a place to go if you want dak galbi in queens but I personally would not come back.

Yelp
Discovered this hole in the wall recently. I didn't even know what dak galbi was until coming in to this place. Being a beef lover I was a little skeptical, but the concept is really fun and awesome. They cook the chicken with the veggies on the grill right on the table. The side dishes are few, but delicious. I kept chowing them down and the waitresses were very kind and kept them coming. My dak kalbi was cooked to perfection and the rice that followed was also good. I opted not to sprinkle the cheese, to allow myself to enjoy the rice to its fullest flavor with the chicken and extra veggies. I cannot believe it took me this long to find out about this place. It is definitely going to be added to my rotation of protein packed dinner restaurants. Trust me and don't miss out.

Yelp
More or less I'm gonna mention the customer service... but last time I checked you don't tell a customer to shut up unless they're causing a scene or actually screaming from the top of their lungs. I went in with a group of co workers because today was our last day and for some reason out of the 7-8 people within the group the worker came to ONLY me to tell me to lower my voice when I was just having a casual conversation with the person next to me??? Mind you there were other tables being waited and they were adding to the overall volume within the restaurant so I'm just as confused as the rest of the people I came in with because they didn't understand why I was the ONLY ONE who was told to keep the volume down. I'm actually baffled the more I think about. Very unpleasant and outright rude, again cause I was the ONLY one called out. Probably won't come again.

Yelp
Just a wonderful part of the Flushing/Bayside row of restaurants that line Northern Boulevard. They specialize in mixed bowls of chicken, pork, and beef based dishes and never fails to amaze. The staff tries their best no matter what and it's always worth it to come here. This is awesome! I don't think I ever had a bad visit. I think the worst part of coming here is the anticipation as you watch the food cook over the ovens on the tables.
google avatar

Yelp
I finally had the chance to try the delicious creation everyone posts pictures of. To start off, the service was excellent. The waitresses were very attentive, refilling water, making sure our dish was spicy enough, refilling our kimchi dish, and just checking in to see if we needed anything else. My friend and I ordered the chicken set. The only setback was that the minimum was 2 orders. Two orders was WAYYY too much for 2 people but we really wanted to try it. We ended up taking half to go. Adding additional toppings such as cheese, ramen, or rice was $2.99 extra. We chose to add ramen. Overall, the dish was not exceptional but still delicious.

Yelp
The hardest part is waiting, and waiting, and waiting... Dakgalbi stir-fried spicy chicken cooked right in front of you is something you gotta try if you never tried before. Eating this brings me back to Korea. If you haven't been to Korea, just trust me and imagine that it does. Don't forget to order cheese and make sure to save some room for the fried rice at the end!

Yelp
I think this is the only dalkgalbi place in nyc?! But its honestly so good. My fav order for 3-5 people is 2x chicken, 1x pork, and I only get half of it covered in cheese, and their dongchimi cold noodles, then at the very end some fried rice, right on the pan. It's also a plus that they let you take home the rice if you cant finish it, so I've had the rice for lunch the day after a few times. I've brought a few people here and it's good because you can make the overall pan less spicy, and dip in extra sauce to make it spicy, and put some of their pickled jalapeno(?) on each bite.
google avatar

Yelp
of course we tried their dak galbi! This place has such an amazing portion, great service and most importantly delicious foooooood. you can ask if you want your food to be non-spicy/spicy/extra-spicy. just ask the server how you want your food to be. also they mix the rice when you are 80-90% done! add some cheese on top....you will love it! will definitely try their spicy noodle next time (mak gook su). 5/5!

Yelp
The secret of slushed soju. 14 degree temperature. There are only two freezers in US can do this. Doraon 1.5 is one of them. Master of Soju freezers was dead. RIP. But you can still try here.

Yelp
The specialty at this restaurant is dak galbi, which is essentially stir-fried chicken on a hot plate. The first thing you may notice as you walk into the restaurant are the many vents above the tables, which usually signifies that something hot and delicious is going to be cooked right in front of you. This restaurant is also a place where the staff cook for you, similar to some KBBQ restaurants. Note that if you're getting the stir-fried proteins, which is in the Chef Special section, there is a minimum of 2 orders. If you're sharing with one or more people, that usually isn't a problem then since you'll probably ordering a different amount of dishes. For a party of 2, we ordered the spicy stir-fried chicken and pork. Make sure to add some carbs afterwards, as you can add ramen, fried rice, or rice cakes to the dish to complement the meat and veggies that they give you! Oh, and if you love cheese, make sure to add that as well. All in all, the food is very good, but it is pretty spicy. My spice tolerance is not the best, but with the combination of the heat and the spice, you might find yourself drinking a lot of water, which the staff give you a lot of, as they give you the large Korean water bottles that may have a celebrity's picture stamped on the front. It is also a lot of food, so don't underestimate how much each protein order is when the staff drop it on the hot plate. Both the chicken and the pork were seasoned perfectly, being sweet and savory due to the Korean spices being used and they pair perfectly with the vegetables that supply a bit of crunch as well as the rice and cheese. Despite it being very hot, it can be very addicting, as you scrape every last piece from the hot plate. If you love spice and Korean food, you'll probably love everything this place has to offer. Otherwise, I'd say it's definitely worth the experience, as not many places in Queens serve dak galbi as far as I know. Oh, and if you want to take a video of the perfect cheese pull for your IG story, you can do that here as well. Just beware of the heat!

Yelp
I am so happy to have found this place. Years ago there was one diagonally across the street but it closed down so a bar can take it's place. The owner seems to always be there and she's very nice. Depending on how spicy you want it, you can opt for less hot sauce. When you're almost done consuming the chicken and cabbage mixture, you can order the rice and seaweed combo. (My fave!). It is so much food!! I love the leftovers the next day!! I tried making this at home and it's just not the same. It's a must try!

Yelp
The customer service is horrible. We made a reservation and when we arrived nobody take care of us. After 10 minutes waiting, they told us have to wait around 20-30mins until we asked them and the restaurant is closing in an hour. Wastes my time and the ladies were so rude.

Loriey H.

Yelp
The dakgalbi and squid stir fry was so good! We also got the fried rice at the end (it doesn't have kimchi or cheese in it- but with the substitutes they use due to higher prices- it's still tasty). The owners are nice and gave good service. It's a small place probably best for small groups of 2-6max unless you're ok with splitting up into the tables next to each other. As a fan of very spicy foods, I really like their spicy sauce that the stir fries are marinated in...can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The food is so good. We ordered octopus and it's stir fried with vegetables and noodles. Towards the end you can make it into a fried rice meal.

Yelp
This place is great for groups and if you're in the mood for a LOT of spicy food. I went in a group of 5 and ordered 4 orders of the dakgalbi with the sweet potato, cheese, ramen, and rice cakes with a daengjang jigae on the side. Getting the additional toppings are a must to enjoy this to the fullest! It's always an amazing site to see the mountain of cabbage and chicken come from the kitchen to the huge hot plate in the middle of your table. The ladies do all the mixing for you so no need to worry about making it yourself if you are not sure what to do and they will tell you when it's ready to eat. You can also tell them how spicy you want to make it in case you're not too good with spice. Don't eat all of your dak galbi because towards the end they asked us if we wanted bokeumbap/fried rice which is the grand finale of the meal after you are already stuffed. The rice came with little bits of seaweed, bean sprouts, and I think perilla leaves which mixed in nicely with everything. The side dishes were pretty standard and tasty. They even gave us a small bowl of icy cold broth to cool down on all the spice. The service was great and everyone was very friendly to us. They greeted us at the door, constantly offered us refills on ice water, asked if we needed to pack up our leftovers, and thanked us when we left! It's a bit of a trek from Flushing but it's so worth it. The bill came out to about $26/person with plenty of leftovers for future meals. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Yelp
Delicious! Both the chicken and squid tastes really good when you ask the server to cook it spicy with some amazing variety of vegetables with it! Really good service but the server seems to have a little bit of a language barrier when asked to have more! Overall, it was excellent! I would definitely come back again next time!

Yelp
Pretty yum! They cook the meat right in front of you in this big grille. We had the chicken mix with squid and the portion was pretty large and came with cabbage as well. At the end, they pour some cheese on top. It was nicely flavored and delicious. At the end, they come and sautéed the rest of the dish with some rice and veggies and that kind of taste like bibimbap and delicious as well. The only thing is the side dishes were very limited and only 3 dishes of kimchi, picked radish, and fish cake Overall a good place and low carb friendly for those who do low carb diet!

Yelp
Four of us came to try this place Wednesday night- definitely worthwhile! There was no wait, we were seated immediately, and the food was brought out quickly. Food: 4/5 I love the idea of cooking the food in front of you! The chicken was delicious with the veggies and noodles (add on ramen!) But the best part was when they mix the rice in because it's such delicious fried rice with the saucy chicken and veggies! You can ask for extra hot chili sauce to spice it up. Ambience: 4/5 A small, casual family restaurant that was reminiscent of this type of cuisine in Korea. The service was courteous and quick.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and the place was never too packed when I went. Service is great, the food is even better. The chicken is delicious. Juicy. The portions are huge though. I always leave with leftovers, no matter how many people I'm eating with. It can get really spicy, but that might just be me (people tell me I can't handle spice...). Also, you probably don't need the ramen noodles in there. Extra carbs, and I personally never finish them.

Yelp
Perfect comfort food for those days. Spicy cheesy and warm chicken with veggies, complete with fried rice all made fresh in front of you. The staff are all extremely helpful and make you feel like you're family. They come around quite often to sauté the chicken and veggies adding copious amounts of sauce as needed. I love this place, especially the rice at the end. So much flavor! Can't believe this was once a poor mans food.

Yelp
Initially I thought this was a hole in a wall place for that their sign is very small and doesn't catch any attention. But it turns out it was pretty pooping on a Thursday. Put your order down immediately if you can because the food take a while to cook. If you are hungry you should order some appetizers- cooking take at least 20 mins for the food to be ready to eat. Service was pretty prompt. Waitresses does a pretty good job cooking and tossing the mixture around for you. Con- there isn't much selection on the menu but I guess people go there to order the few items they are known for.

Yelp
This place is just wow. $16.99 per person for dak gal bi (spicy marinated chicken) Huge portion that has vegetables, rice cake, and sweet potato. Super juicy and soft chicken Perfect marination Cooked right in front if you Literally makes you drool.... Please go. Small korean place deserves more love than this.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to go to flushing to eat some Dak Galbi as there weren't any places in Manhattan until very recently. The place is small, and cozy. The food is great; we ate so much, and it is awesome for the price. Something I appreciate is that they make the Dak Galbi in front of you which doesn't make you feel like you're waiting a long time because it does take a while to cook. Something also neat about this place is that you can call ahead of time and they can start making it so that it's ready when you get there! I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving some Dak Galbi...it's worth it!

Yelp
This is the best dakgalbi I have ever had, surpassing even the ones I tried in Korea. For those who enjoy spicy food, be warned that it can get extremely hot - even spicier than the 2x buldak ramen - although this level of heat is only reserved for regular customers.

Yelp
I've seen this spot in passing for years and decided to try it. Can't get enough. I get the dakgalbi medium spice with addition of sweet potatoes, rice cakes, and top it off with cheese. The fried rice is a must at the end and I ask for extra cheese cause you can never have enough cheese.

Yelp
2 stars for food, service, and ambiance. Overall the service was decent. Nothing out of the ordinary. However, I would have appreciated more details around the order since the menu makes it very vague regarding what you get. Food: I'm not korean, but something about the flavor felt like it wasnt korean. Didnt have the right flavors and didnt taste as good as I had expected. I went with my husband, who is korean, and asked him what he thought. He felt it didnt taste korean and that the restaurant must have left some ingredients out. We ordered two dishes which amount to 45 dollars, but when it came out, it was basically one dish with the same amount of vegetables and sauce but with two different meat. I expect two plates of food, hence ordering 2 meals, but in reality you are getting one meal with two meat. I felt this was unclear and disappointing. Ambiance: the restaurant itself appears clear and regular, also nothing unusual. The music was a bit weird, and sounded like a recording or some child trying to sing christmas songs. It was odd. The tables were structured strangely where if you are not carefully you can knock your knee into the leg of the table rather easily. So seating wasnt comfortable. I would not come back, and I do not recommend this place. There are far better Korean restaurants in flushing. Dont waste you money here!
