The farmer’s Market to go on a Sunday. I got huge lettuce and red leaf so much tastier than in the supermarket. Free veggies & bread on a pouring Sunday. Let’s go enjoy the best Nature has to offer!!!

Great farmers market Very spacious layout lots of vendors. Only gripe there should be a lot more vendors for the space they have

Get the horseradish Pickles... or kimchi cream cheese and miso bagel from Bagel Joint. Mustache yoghurt is creamy and worth a try! There are many lovely local products here.

the park is loaded with many areas to play for all ages of children , toddlers, water area , climbing , benches, tables to have a picnic or snacks for the kids and the bonus is the farmers market on sunday. healthy snack available for everyone including fruit ice pops. definitely a great place for families.

While the vendors are few, the produce is great- rows and rows berries, big bunches of greens, even managed to get dill and gherkins to make my own pickles. Kombucha stand is also off the hook, and occasionally there's a spot there which takes in all old clothing and soft goods for donating to those in need.

Great farmers market with wonderful produce options as well unique finds like pasta, nut milks, bread and cheese sellers. Neighborhood vibe with friendly folks!

Second the latest comment - the managers are super pro - totally excellent mission for the food security/quality of NYC. Highly recommend the mushroom vendor (The Farm Room / Storehouse) as well!

Great local farmers/makers market. Fresh fish, numerous veggie vendors. It gets pretty packed before noon, but even then it's a nice spot to chill

Smaller farmer's market but well curated. This market has a nicely rounded variety of organic and non-organic but conscientiously raised produce, plus a satisfying array of artisan produced breads, cheeses, pickles, olive oil, kimchee, and tempeh from Barry the tempeh guy. Conscientiously raised poultry & eggs, and charcuterie are also available . I don't know the folks who organize this farmer's market personally, but I know they work hard to make it useful and inviting to a wide demographic and a focal point for local commerce and positive change. Before the neighborhood had municipal composting there were compost collection bins on farmer's market days, which I think were courtesy of the Lower East Side Ecology Center (If I'm wrong, my apologies). There is currently a garment donation area during market, and usually some tastefully handled (non-invasive) live music playing while people shop and talk under the trees and around the colonnade. I really appreciate this market and await their return in warmer months.

Ok selection, but not great. I think It was the last one of the season when I went... Did the job and was the only one near by that day.
