Downtown Summerlin’s farmers market converts into a drive-thru - Eater Vegas

"The Las Vegas Farmers Market at Downtown Summerlin converted into a drive-thru last weekend to prevent the spread of COVID-19. People can still get their eggs, fruits, and vegetables fresh from the farm, only instead of wandering the different produce stands to select apples, citrus, eggs, and leafy greens, they wait in their cars under the outdoor shopping center’s pavilion while employees fill orders and drop them in the trunk." - Susan Stapleton

This is a wonderful event to go to every Saturday!! Lots of vendors, new and different types of food, a big theme on organic and vegan! Everything is fresh, including the selection of produce. Lots of local vendors and it is good to get out support those businesses! Having the event in Downtown Summerlin is great also. Outdoors, it is like a park where you can get some exercise, check out the Farmer's Market, shop and dine all in one place!!!

Google
Wonderful market with a great variety of handmade items, delicious foods and produce. Plus, it's nice to walk around and shop a little at the various stores. There's something for the whole family!

Google
I love going to this market, true farmers selling organic vegetables fruits greens & eggs.....truly the best farmers market in las vegas!

To go to downtown Summerlin in December is so enjoyable. We were around the ice skating rink, the farmer's market, the shops, and the stage where they had live Christmas performances. It was beautiful. The giant tree by the ice skating rink is really pretty and while we were there, we enjoyed the Christmas train going around the area. The day was wonderful. Enjoy walking around downtown Summerlin, too.

Google
Great selection of local small businesses. The produce was a bit expensive but we got some local grown mushrooms and blueberries some great elderberry Lemonade, and some cbd pain relief balm. Had a great time meeting local businesses at the market. I prefer to come just for the market over the shopping center.

Google
Great farmer's market full of lots of vendors selling locally made goods. Check out the Cafe do Paraiso coffee stand for coldbrew or hot coffee, popcorn, veggies, bread, salsas, dog food, and much more!

Google
This was my first time going to the downtown Summerlin farmers market. Bought some decent organic strawberries black krem tomatoes. Everything else looked really good the one thing I am curious about is everyone selling vegetables had signs saying that the vegetables were grown in California doesn't anyone grow locally? I have a huge garden right here in Las Vegas and I grow 100% organic fruits and vegetables! Surely I'm not the only one who grows vegetables in Las Vegas! I grow a lot of Chinese vegetables as well. I think I'll check and see what I would have to do to sell vegetables and fruits at this farmers market. All my vegetables are 100% organic

Google
Consistently great farmers market. Fresh breads, local honey, fruits & vegetables, mushrooms, flowers, pickles, hand sewn items, and so much more. Hours: 9.00am til 2.00pm

Yelp
If there are others events happening along with the market, parking is difficult to find. Prices are okay. Sometimes the produce prices I find to be higher than the local markets (on seasonal items especially). It's a nice walking event and there is usually live music.

Yelp
Farmers Market Downtown Summerlin is the best market in Vegas. Our favorite go to is Mrs. BUBBLES, body lotions, soaps, massage candles, etc. Then a must see is HAMMONS Honey. Super great guy. Must try all 4 samples. Tell him you want the Bentley Honey.,, he will know what this is. Too many other great places here to list... must check it out.

Yelp
Convenient and fun Farmers Market at DTS! Go check it out, grab a coffee, some veggies and even a gift for that special occasion. A good variety of vendors here - local and your shopping helps the Vegas scene! Obviously plenty of parking as well and afterwards you can go for a walk around the mall or keep shopping! Enjoy the day!

Yelp
This is one of the best community gatherings in Las Vegas. An impressive array of fresh produce takes center stage. There are a multitude of local food vendors and artisans. Vegas Vegan Provisions is my favorite, where I enjoyed brunch during my most recent visit. Along with that, I enjoyed a serving of hot coffee from local roaster, Cafe do Paraiso. Many of the patrons are women who take yoga class adjacent to the farmer's market.

Yelp
Came here with my family because my mom had been looking for a farmer's market since they moved here. I thought it was pretty interesting the way it was set up. The market is free and no fee is needed upon entering. I enjoyed the amount of small businesses there since I enjoy supporting local businesses. My mom was looking for Asian vegetables, she was unfortunately unable to find any there but we still enjoyed the ambiance. Also it's incredibly convenient for it to be shaded especially in the summer time when the sun is strong.

Love going here and grabbing some treats after a morning hike. Also, love that it's outdoors and dog friendly!

Yelp
Checked out the Downtown Summerlin Farmers market today. It was a Beautiful day to stroll! A little too crowded for my liking. I did see a lot of the same vendors that are at the The District in Green Valley and has less of a crowd. Looks like another family Event was going on there today as well so maybe that was bought such a big crowd, but I'm sure that helped bring a lot of business to the local vendors! They had Fruits, Veggies, dips, baked goods (vegan included), breads, pickled Veggies, jewelry, etc. I got some goodies for sure. I would recommend checking it out if you live in this area or are passing trough. The market is every Saturday from 9-2 p.m. weather permitting. Some of my favorite vendors were Luchkoff Patisserie bakery. I love their Vegan gluten free Ube Cookies, and the Vegan Baklava. Impulsive Impressions, they had so many beautiful earrings to choose from! The pickled Pantry. I love the Pickled carrots and Pickled garlic Cucumbers. Bella Gourmet Sauces. My favorite is the Mango habanero Hot Salsa! It's a must get. I love having it on my tacos, and rice & beans! Yum!

Yelp
I'm grateful to have a local Farmer's Market - I'm from SOCAL and ours are spectacular. They have one vendor that sells fruits and vegetables and it comes from CA and Arizona - with that said, I'm happy to have this option. They have Hummus, dips, jerky, honey, baked goods, breads and other crafty vendors. Do you know how impossible it is to get Hummus with NO canola oil at the super market? The Hummus is great, the breads are fantastic and the fruits and veggies are good - again, not much grows here so we're lucky to have any! I like that it's at the mall so you can make it a day.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning around 10A, found parking in the open parking lot. Walked a short distance the the farmers market. The crowd was massive for such a compact space. Somewhat difficult to navigate. Dogs are allowed at this farmers market. There was a live violinist playing tunes, also top radio hits playing on the background. There is only one produce vendor (located smack dab in the center of the market) the line to pay for produce wraps w around the produce stand and bleeds into other vendors areas. The vendors include: soap, oils, baked goods, produce, coffee, fresh juice/aguas Fresca, jewelry, spice blends, dog treats, clothing, infused olive oil and vinegar, flowers, hummus, pita, jerky, flavored popcorn, salsa. It was a decent market. Not sure if I'd classify it as a farmers market more so a market of novelty items.

Yelp
I only discovered the Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market and loved it The Downtown Summerlin Market offers a vibrant blend of local produce, artisanal goods, and culinary delights. Nestled in the heart of Summerlin, it provides a charming atmosphere for leisurely shopping and sampling. From freshly harvested fruits and vegetables to gourmet cheeses and baked goods, the market caters to diverse tastes and preferences. Friendly vendors eagerly share their expertise and recommendations, enhancing the overall experience. Live music adds to the lively ambiance, making it a perfect weekend destination for families and food enthusiasts alike. With its quality offerings and community-focused vibe, the Downtown Summerlin Market is a must-visit destination for locals and tourists.

Yelp
Loved the farmers market yesterday ! Had a yoga class right in the vicinity so it was nice to just stop by. This is so much more than a Farmers Market because you have locals with homemade and organic Lotions, soaps, oils, lip balms, baby clothing, breads, dog treats , you name it you can find it here. I would recommend you bring a larger tote bag to carry all your purchases in. It will make your shopping experience way easier. Definitely will be stopping by weekly for my fruits and veggies and all my other goodies !

Yelp
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was really more of a craft/farmers market. The was only one very large farmers markets with a great selection of fruits and vegetable to choose from, we grabbed some Asparagus that was delicious . The strawberries were amazing looking but by the time we came back to purchase they were already sold out... next time. The crafts and baked good booths were also very good. We picked up a huge round loaf of daily baked sourdough and it was very good. The baby (pitbull) loved the bacon and cheese doggy biscuit The baked goods like blueberry lemon loaf and store cookies also delish. Lots of honey, hummus, pita, soaps and many many other items. Everyone was super friendly at each booth and it was quite a decent selection of booths and goods. The only thing I didn't like was the empanada booth. You can only get only get them frozen (no fresh, not even to sample) and we bought 6 for $24 (not cheap) of the only 2 they had left which were chicken fettuccine and corn with mozzarella. They came with instructions to reheat in oven. Unfortunately no one liked them and they ended up in the trash We will definitely be back for this Farmers Market. Great job downtown Summerlin!!

Yelp
This is always a fun event to go to. I love how many vendors there and and huge huge produce section in the middle

Yelp
Great for strolling. Sad for those who think of farmer markets as fresh items like produce and local sourced items. It's more of a crafts, to local business Etsy type of space. Tiny? But at least underneath shade. Maybe the weather plays a factor in what won't spoil or get affected by temperature flux. Maybe I came on an offer weekend? It was packed though. In late May, it was still pretty hot to visit. Located in plaza with Lululemon/Silver Post to Banana Republic/Pure Barre on the other end. Park in shaded parking structure nearby behind Lucky Brand, close to Lululemon. There was multiple honey stalls, cold drinks, bakery stalls to craft made items like clothes, skincare jewelry and more. There's business who also.have own brick mortar shops elsewhere. Seems more like a small business local gathering? What I got and enjoyed: - freeze dried Skittles $5 were tasty though. - vegan baklava

Yelp
Very positive experience. Great choice of food selections to purchase. We picked up fruit and jerkey. Vendors were so nice and organized. So kind ti let us sample products. Clean areas. Can't wait to go again

Yelp
Bonus points for this farmers market because it's under the shaded area! That's one thing that's different about this one. Especially during the hot summer months. Dog friendly and even walking around the mall is great for pups :) There are a lot of vendors and it does get crowded, especially since it's in one area and the way it's set up there's not much walking space to get to each table. I did notice like others have mentioned here, there are a lot of crafts, and homemade items which is great but not much variety for fruits, veggies, etc There are honey, cookies, baked goods, matcha, coffee, hummus dips, breads, live music, arts and crafts, and natural remedies. I love the downtown Summerlin and the Summerlin area in general so I will be back! Tip: Sometimes there is also a car show and other events going on, check out the Downtown Summerlin website or social media for more info! Aloha and Mahalo! Yelp
Outdoor farmers market. Great fresh air in January. Dogs abound and doggie treats are sold by a number of vendors. Fresh baked breads sell out fast. Many treats such as cookies, baklava, tarts, brownies, rice crispy treats and more are homemade. There's fresh vegetables, flowers and fruits too! Ask for a sample to taste. Musical entertainment flows through the market area. Restrooms are nearby and generally clean.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it because : not very big yet amazing variety in stands. Tons of puppies my dog could socialize with!! Grass field next to it also full of puppies. I purchased some items of which goods from a French bakery and it was so good. There was a happy atmosphere and I will come back!

Yelp
I was craving some fresh fruit on Saturday morning and decided to head down to this Market. I have been a couple other times but haven't purchased a lot. This isn't a huge farmers market but they do offer some great produce out of California. I ended up purchasing peaches, apricots, nectarines, plunots (part apricot, part plum), beet hummus, mango/habanero hummus, chocolate croissant, a baguette and a delicious juice. I was very pleased with how tasty all the fruit was and discovering a new hummus that was just made the morning I arrived. The market features vendors that sell homemade honey, bath bombs, soap, jerky of all types, produce, coffee, baked goods etc. There is something for everyone. All the vendors are friendly too. Samples are given out of just about all food and drink offered which tantalizes your tastebuds! The location is under the large enclosure near Banana Republic and the Gap stores at Downtown Summerlin. If in the area, check it out and definitely have a juice! So refreshing on these hot summer days!

Yelp
Downtown summerlin farmers market is always such a fun experience! Definitely the biggest farmers market in Vegas. I come for the produce but always end up with something special from one of the many local artisans. At DTS you'll find not just fresh produce (from some of the nicest people) but you will also find the BEST EGGS EVER (from the same people- Rods Produce Market). The yolks are literally orange and the flavor is better than anything you will find in the grocery store. Promise. Aside from that you can find local honey, freshly roasted coffee beans, gourmet mushrooms, micro greens, Art, jewelry, yummy pastries, body care items and sooo much more. The best part? You're supporting small LOCAL businesses! Also unintentionally serves as a dog show as you will likely find plenty of cute pups perusing the market as well. :) And maybe a giant tortoise.
google avatar

Yelp
It was a fun place to get great produce. The little shops were all so cool I wanted to get everything because everything looked so cool! The Watermelon Lemonade drink was so delicious. It's a fun little thing to go do I definitely recommend.
google avatar

Kriss P.

Yelp
This market is tiny in comparison to many but it does have a few nice aspects to it. They have a good amount of crafty booths, prepared food & beverage vendors, and a splash of produce. The market could use more farmers to attract a wholesome and grocery driven crowd. I feel that may be the key to revving up the market appeal to this weekly gathering. Nonetheless, this event is held under a shadded protion of this outdoor mall. The lack of tents make for an free flowing layout. The vendors are kind and offer up some great items like sprouts, dips, chips, and other baked goodies. Like I said previously, produce is limited but available. The kid friendly play area is a huge plus for families and it surely makes the trip out to this market a pleasant one.

Yelp
I didn't think that organic produce at a Farmer's Market was affordable, but I was wrong. I've been wanting to visit for a very very long time. Now that we live closer to DT, it's easier to make it here. Located near Gap. Free samples! Besides the Ron's Organic Market- located in the middle of the Farmer's Market- (vegetables like jalapeno peppers, broccoli, eggplant, carrots (HUGE), asparagus ($5.00 for the bundle, nice), fruits like tangerines, persimmons, asian pears, both colors of grapes (big)---there were so much more- the majority of the pricing was either $2.00 or $2.50 a pound, just relying on my memory); one pay station, and you could get a text receipt, which gets stored, there were unique hand crafted items like knitted beanies, candles, pet treats. Other food goods were: baked ( incl. gluten free and vegan), honey, spices, Brazilian goods, hummus. Other specialty items include gemstone jewelry, silver jewelry, and pet accessories. I purchased fruits & veggies, and my haul was $11.00, which I didn't think was bad for organic goods. (Often times, I will check out the organic section in large supermarkets, and I don't like what I see- they look lifeless, smashed, small, and not suitable to eat, so I usually pass on buying them, because it's not worth it. Not the case here!)

Yelp
It's always fun on a beautiful Saturday morning to spend it outdoors, so for this reason, we enjoy browsing through the Summerlin Farmers' Market. However, in all honesty, I would not suggest it as a destination, or a go to spot if you're specifically in search of fresh fruits and veggies. I've actually found more arts and crafts vendors than fresh food vendors. The variety of produce is extremely limited, and the quality varies from just ok to items that appear like they've seen better days. If you're looking for specific items, you're better off at Whole Foods. However, if you're open to purchasing whatever you may come across that happens to look appealing, or if you're also fine with leaving without a purchase at all, then you'll be fine with Summerlin's Farmers Market. Nonetheless, the vendors are friendly and the crafts are fun to peruse. The best thing about Summerlin's Farmers Market is Downtown Summerlin and the Red Rock Casino itself. After you're done, it's easy peasy to mosey into Downtown Summerlin or the Red Rock for a nice little lunch. You can easily make it an all afternoon affair. Just stay realistic and don't set high expectations for this market, especially if you've been to grand scale farmers' markets, like the one in the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

Yelp
Every Saturday I would be required to work, but finally had a weekend to myself and I have been meaning to visit the farmers market. I was shocked at how small it was with very little produce like fresh fruit and vegetables. The center had a few tables of produce but not like how I was hoping: just some apples oranges and potatoes from what I could see. They did have some honey vendors and some others like jerky, spice rubs, teas, juice, pastry, and handmade items. I just hope maybe during the summer there will be more fresh produce
google avatar

Miranda L.

Yelp
Whole the Farmers Market has grown exponentially and now offers a fascinating range of foods and other products... I couldn't get over how many people had brought dogs with them on my last visit; large dogs, barely leashed, knocking over little kids and almost upsetting the display tables. No thanks.
google avatar

Pedro G.

Yelp
This was our weekly date for morning. We love the drinks and they have really good produce. We really love the peaches they sell here and the people selling them are super friendly and will give you all the details on what you're buying before you buy and even let you try the fruit! The hummus we've bought here was sooo good. Dog friendly, outdoors, and lots of fun if you've never been!
google avatar

Yelp
Organic honeycrisp apples and honey and beef jerky, oh my! It was my first visit today, March 3, and I will definitely come back. It was a windy day but thankfully the event is inside the pavilion. It was very pleasant and clean. I bought honeycrisp apples, blood red oranges, bee pollen, beef jerky and garlic bread. The merchants are very friendly and know their wares! Next time I visit, I'll check out the other food items and merchandise! #summerlin #farmersmarket #lasvegas #saturdaymorning

Yelp
This market is a weekly ritual for us. Great products and nice people everywhere. One of our favorite dealers is ZIP WAX, a gentleman with his 2 sons who sell a unique wax for cleaning your eye glasses. This stuff is as good as gold. It prevents your glasses from steaming up when coming from the desert heat into air conditioned spaces and keeps the lenses sparkling clean. A fantastic seller. BTW, this past weekend there was a fantastic live band playing Latin and Brazilian favorites. They were fantastic!

Yelp
I've been to all four Farmer's markets around Vegas but prefer this one to them all! Great selection, good organic vendors, an amazing stone fruit vendor, nice cooked food options, and they even have a system where you can charge using your credit card at the Information Booth! It's not too big Farmer's market in Downtown Summerlin and not too small, and has a really large selection of foods. It's within walking distance for me, but there's also a parking structure for the Trader Joe's that you can use.

Yelp
I did a quick stop at the DT Summerlin Farmers' Market after coming back from a hike. I found some of the goods that friends had told me were available. As it was several hours after the market opened, I didn't have the best choices available, but it was good to learn the layout and plan for the next Saturday. It's good to see China Ranch being there. It will save me some trips to Tecopa.

Gail L.

Yelp
This one and the one at Tivoli are craft markets with a few tables with produce ... really it should be re named as such as it is very misleading... or at least a Craft & Farmers Market .. any one who has been to a real farmers market will tell you sadly that it's a bit of a disappointment..
google avatar

Yelp
Every Saturday there is a Farmers Market at Downtown Summerlin near the South Parking Garage. Most of the sellers are very nice and don't hesitate to offer you a free sample. Some of the sellers are there every Saturday and some come every other Saturday! The food is insanely fresh and very affordable. There were a lot of stands, but the hummus stand and the tortilla chip and dips stand attracted me the most as I'm a sucker for fresh sauces and tortilla chips. I've only ever had normal hummus but decided to try the jalapeño hummus and the man that helped me explained that he uses it for more than just pita bread. He explained that it goes great with tortilla chips as well as putting them on tacos. As for the chips and dips, I loved the sun dried tomato and this time I came back for more and even decided to get a jalapeño dip. The pricing for the pita is $4 and $6 for the hummus and the dips are $5 each and if you buy 2 dips you get a free case of tortilla chips. Overall my total came out to be $40 but $45 after tip. Definitely something I will check out whenever I have free time on Saturday. The reason for the 4 stars was some vendors didn't seem interested in selling or were only helping certain customers. The ones I noticed that were having lots of sales were the vendors helping a multitude of customers.
google avatar

Carol K.

Yelp
The venue is great for this event. There is supprt of cover, public restrooms tradfic control and regular shops once they open. I'm not sure if the same vendors come every week, but this day, we had potato chip nacho's, sauage maker, meat ball guy and a bakery. They have many pinic tables set up with cloth table covers, giving things a home feel. There is fresh produce inside an empty shop, set up like the produce isle in the local grocery store and staples like pasta, spices and tea. I also discovered several jewelry venders and other crafty inspired items like cutting boards. Overall, it's small, lots of food, some produce and high end crafts.

Yelp
Living just three-minutes from Downtown Summerlin, but generally underwhelmed by the restaurants with no particular needs for their shopping selections, it is rare that there is an impetus to visit the nearly two-year old center that continues to thrive despite naysayers predictions, but taking the opportunity to visit the Saturday Intuitive Forager's Farmer's Market during a day dedicated to the Culinary Interns at MGM there is no doubt the Market has improved since its inception as Kerry Clasby and her team continue to bring together some of the best in our local food community. Now spread across perhaps three-dozen vendors, the Arts and Crafts that seemed to dominate in the past replaced by innovative artisans making everything from Vinegars and Jams to Breads and Jamaican Grilled Meats, it was after a brief history on Kerry's background that Fiamma Chef Pawan Pinisetti and Ms. Clasby herself led the team of young faces from vendor to vendor discussing everything from their growing techniques to packaging concepts, a few highlights along the way being Romano beans currently being used by Christopher Palmeri at Naked City Tavern and the Rooster Boy Granola featured by Geno Bernardo on the Herringbone Brunch Menu. Particularly impressed by the passion of each vendor, a baker inside the Farms section selling a truly impressive Raisin Walnut Sourdough and a Canele that is rivaled only by only a fresh one at Bardot for the city's best, other unique options include the aforementioned Granola formulated by Chef Sonia El-Nawal to meet any number of dietary needs and discretions, the freeze-dried chips from Joshua Kingdon at Sweet Potato Awesome truly defining a "Super Food that tastes like junk food" with each crackling bite the sort of thing perfect for a low-glycemic snack. Offered from 9a-2p on Saturday's, the produce on the pricey side but certainly a "get what you pay for" sort of thing with Tomatillos, Dragon Fruit, Herbs, and Fairy Tale Eggplant all no more expensive than those at Whole Foods, those in the know are encouraged to arrive early for the best quality and variety of options, not to mention a chance to chat with Chefs like Hemant Kishore of the soon to open Toddy Shop or to purchase one of Jonathan Pluvinet's fantastic Almond Croissants from Rosallie while still warm.

Yelp
The first time I made the trip out here I was pretty excited to have a market at all. Previous to living in Las Vegas I lived in the Seattle area and Austin. Those areas have amazing markets so I knew I would need to temper my expectations since Vegas would never be at that level. This isn't really a farmers market where you visit primarily for fresh produce. There is only one spot with fresh produce and the selection isn't that great. Vegas isn't exactly prime for growing produce so this didn't shock me. The main attraction here is all of the stands with local goods and foods. There are a couple of spots to grab food or lemonade to snack on while you shop. One of the best stands here is the local honey because it is uber local, something I can't even get at Whole Foods. I mainly come to the market for the honey because it really helps with my allergies. I also enjoyed the stand with sports' posters made of retro team symbols. This took care of gifts for my dad and father-in-law. I love stumbling upon great gifts. The location of the market is very convenient. They take over a large open area of the shopping center which makes it easy to move around. Parking is plentiful near the lot next to Lazy Dog and Andiron. Overall, I wouldn't repeatedly make special trips out to Summerlin just for this market. When I'm in the area I do like to stop in and grab a few things.

Yelp
Every Saturday from 9am-2pm is when this farmers market happens. This is only my second time here. The first time I came it was a few years ago and it was much smaller and I thought it was just meh. This time they expanded a bit with more vendors and more produce. It still doesn't compare to the farmers market in Cali but I think they're trying. It's nice that they do it inside the Pavilion where it's shaded. It's a great event to bring your furry babies too. Today when I went they had a pet adoption section, and vendors including honey, hummus, pet products, Hawaiian malasadas, Betsy Bites (my favorite discovery!), homemade goods for personal hygiene, and a few stands for fresh produce. I wish they had more fresh produce stands like the ones in Cali so hopefully this farmers market will continue to grow!

Yelp
I wouldn't call this a Farmers Market. A better name would be a small gathering of local crafters and one farmer. Now I may hold Farmer's Markets to a higher standard coming from San Diego where the Farmer's Markets are vast and jam packed full of local farmers, local fresh food, and a great variety of products. This was not that. There were probably 14 small booths, and out of those 14 I would say that only 8 were actual foods and only 1 out of those 14 was actual produce... to call yourself a Farmers Market and have only one booth where the product was actually grown fresh kind of irks me. I long for the days where I could go down the the Little Italy Mercado every Saturday morning in Downtown San Diego and get my fresh produce, seafood, meat, breads, jams and jellys, fruit juice, and discover the local businesses. This left me and my fiance more than a little dissapointed. Especially since we drove thirty minutes to get there. We spent more time driving there than we actually spent at the Farmer's Market. We did however try some delicious Hummus, but that was the only shining moment of this "Farmer's Market." You're better off going to Whole Foods or even Trader Joes.
google avatar

Denise V.

Yelp
I love to visit here on a monthly basis to get my fruit, vegetables and honey. I love the atmosphere especially the musicians that play. There is a big variety of jerky, pita bread and hummus as well as baked goods and even treats for the puppies. There is always lots of parking and it's in the shaded area of the Summerlin center out and away from sun. This is definitely a place that you need to visit on a Saturday morning.

Yelp
This Farmers Market is a bit on the smaller side. It is located under the pavilion from 9am - 2pm on Saturdays in Downtown Summerlin. As other Yelpers stated, this farmers market is geared towards crafts (think: homemade soaps/homemade beauty products), pantry staples (think: spices/sauces/honey/oil/vinegar), homemade dog treats/pet products and food stands. They had live music during our visit with picnic tables to sit down and enjoy the food you purchased. There is a section for fruits and veggies (see pics). However, it was a small section hidden away inside a corner of the market. I'm sure they set it up this way so the fresh fruits and veggies don't wilt away in the summer heat. Things I loved: Fido's Fine Dining: I picked up some homemade gluten/grain free dog treats for my French Bulldogs with allergies (yeah- they're high maintenance piggy poos). $5 bucks. A Spice Above: The hubs and I sampled their dips with pretzels and purchased 5 packs for 20 bucks (Kickin Tomato Horseradish, Cha Cha Chipotle, and Oven Roasted Garlic). No MSGs, No Sugar (in some- read the labels) No Preservatives, No Gluten in their spices. The lady working suggested we could mix the spices in ground beef or turkey for burgers with a kick. Bistro Blends of Napa Valley: The hubs and I sampled various bread dips and marinades here and purchased 2 large bottles for 25/26 a pop (Rosemary Roasted Garlic Cabernet and Garlic Balsamic Bistro Oil). I really loved their Lemon Olive Oil and plan to pop by and purchase one of those. I think this item would be a great hostess/corporate gift with a loaf of fresh French bread and a bottle of wine. Taste of Jamaica: The hubs and I split a large plate of Jerk Chicken, plantains, yams, red beans and rice and slaw for 10 bucks. I'm a sucker for jerk seasoning and felt the chicken and plantains were finger-lickin' good (see pic). Hot Tips: Bring your own bags! If you're planning on buying anything you'll want to bring a reusable tote bag. It'll get tiresome to carry everything in your hands and I wish I came prepared. Bring CASH. I did see that a few stands accepted credit/debit cards via the Square and Ipad payment processing. However, it is helpful to have cash venue at this type of venue (I hate cash but came prepared). Prepare for the weather. It is hot and we're in Vegas. There is shade under the pavilion. However, I would recommend going early since we're in the midst of summer heat. Bring some water to sip on while you walk around to stay hydrated (or, purchase some lemonade/water from one of food stands). Final Verdict: Yes, this venue isn't extensive and isn't truly centered around fresh fruits or veggies. However, I really loved my afternoon here and liked sipping coffee and walking around with my husband. It was busy and I enjoyed the live music and supporting the stands and checking out their products. Hopefully, the venue will expand with vendors over time.

Yelp
This isn't a farmers market. Go ahead and call it a craft fair or an artisan goods market, but when you have ONE spot selling things that grow in the ground, it's not a farmers market. Selection of participating businesses was pretty good: various beauty concoctions and soaps, juice and coffee, some baked goods and honey, and a bunch of decorative knick-knacks. There were a few food booths clustered together selling meatballs and tamales (at $30/half dozen!?), but again- only ONE business selling fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately their name escapes me. Unless you're already hanging out at DS, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Yelp
Located in the covered Pavillion area at Downtown Summerlin, you will be able to find parking reserved for the market closest to Lazy Dog Cafe. The Farmer's Market advertises that they will be ongoing every Saturday from 9 AM - 2 PM. We arrived around 1 PM and made our way around the stands; we noticed there weren't too many people, maybe a few at each stand, with a lot of downtime. The market setup is somewhat in a star shape, with the center of the Pavilion being empty. The vendors ranged anywhere from: Artisan crafted, flavored and smoked salts from Laguna Beach, CA (Laguna Salts Company) - Very knowledgeable and down to earth guy running the stand is originally from Laguna Beach so he brings his surfer vibe and demeanor. The hibiscus salt is gorgeous and smells wonderful, large can be purchase for a pretty penny $17 (from my memory) or they also offer small to tiny sizes. Also you guys, their kona bean salt would be absolutely perfect on a vanilla bean ice cream. Just sayin. Homemade bakery goods, pastries, pita bread and also wheat pita, from Ya Ya's Kitchen (all natural, kosher) - such as corn bread, carrot cake, banana cake, coffee cake, macaroons that tasted like almond joy, smooth hummus in an assortment of varieties and a really flavorful pesto. We sampled the carrot cake and the corn bread; they were both equally moist and tasted like homemade quality and pleasantly not overly sweet. We made off with a large corn bread for $5. We honestly just wished their customer service and hospitality was better, we definitely didn't feel the warmth or welcome. We dabbled in some salsa tasting at True Foods which also sells at Whole Foods, I might add. Very refreshing and flavorful salsas. The death salsa was my personal favorite and not obnoxiously spicy (says the spice advocate.) They are sold $3-$4 a tub. Lastly, I smelled and sampled a variety of handmade aromatherapy hand and facial creams from Aromatherapy Garden made by Rosa and her mother. They really smell great and feel great, maybe a tad on the oily side, but that's because they use therapy grade essential oils and butters, so just be careful when sampling on your skin, or you will end up being an oil slick like my fiancé (LOL). Jokes aside, the tiniest aromatherapy bottle was $8, but you might be able to work up a deal if you purchase multiple. One thing that I noticed about most of the vendors we sampled today, was that they are all either already selling their product at Whole Foods or going to sell their product there soon. Just a tip, they will most likely be a tad cheaper if purchased from the farmer's market. Have a great weekend!

Yelp
This is such a nice Farmers Market. Every vendor I met was wonderful & helpful. Most items are organic... The arnica cream... See the photo is a wonderful product for everything from tennis elbow to back pain. So happy to see our Holistic Community out showing Las Vegan's great quality products. Come out & enjoy this Saturday morning treat. Can't wait to see all these vendors & hopefully lots of others in the future;~D

Yelp
Awesome group of vendors here at Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market. They have everything from nuts, dog food, popcorn, soaps and many more. My favorite one is probably this small nut vendor/stall called Peele Nuts. The guy who mans the booth is funny and knowledgable about his product. They very generous with their samples too. I bought 2 bags of the honey roasted for $14 and my golly, they are the most delicious nuts! I will definitely be back for more. If you are here, make sure you look for them at Peele Nuts. Another favorite is the kettle corn stall (yummy and soft kernels of corn and delicious flavors). And lastly, Taste of Jamaica. If you are ever here, make sure you stop by and try their Jerky Chicken! The best!

Yelp
I've been to this market a few times and it's really convenient to have something like this so near my house. It's a very nice and welcoming environment with quite a bit of options. What I love the most about this place is that so many vendors sell vegan, organic or gluten free items which is great since its so hard to find items like this. Only thing I wish it had more of was fresh fruits and veggies. While there are options available it's not as much as I would expect from a farmers market

Yelp
Loved it ! Not all vendors show at this location . But i MUCH rather go here because MASKS and face coverings are REQUIRED . When you go to bruce tent on Wednesdays some people do not have a mask and it is not reinforced and that is very disrespectful to the rest of us .

Yelp
The Farmers market at Downtown Summerlin has become our new go to place on Saturday mornings. This market competes directly with the one at Tivoli Village however, it is more convenient to our house and is the reason we have been won over. The current the growing season is providing several great vegies such as Shishito Peppers and Fava Beans. To our delight, products from China Date Ranch are available.
