"Hanging out in a hotel lobby is not something we’d normally recommend as a fun experience—unless it’s the Drawing Room in the Loop’s Chicago Athletic Hotel. It has dark wooden paneling, comfy leather seats, tons of tables, and not one, but two fireplaces, each framed by ornate stone columns and intricate designs right above them. "Land & Sea Dept. is vacating the building’s second floor, home of Cherry Circle Room, a vintage Chicago restaurant without windows surrounded by dark wood; Milk Room, a tiny eight-seat bar that pours fancy drinks and vintage spirits; and Game Room, the bar area outside Cherry Circle Room that serves light bites and beer surrounded by pool tables and other games.
