The review: With social media unearthing every spot imaginable, one might think that hidden gems are out of the question. However, the North End certainly has one--Caffé Ducali. The aesthetically-pleasing eatery is just as delicious as it looks. When it comes to shelling out $1 extra for the piadina, you will absolutely not regret it. The egg and cheese sandwiches at Caffé Ducali were freshly-made, steaming hot, and downright delectable. The piadina was the best, essentially a small wood fired pizza crust, enveloping the egg and melty cheese. As a self-proclaimed bagel expert, the bagel was a close second. I usually get coffee everywhere but something possessed me to not only order the lemonade (strawberry), but to also convince my friend to do the same. I took some Yelp reviewer tax and tried hers, the peach lemonade, which was even better than the strawberry. They simply were delicious and refreshing. There is an attached Ducali Pizzeria & Bar, which I look forward to trying very soon. This was truly my top café experience in Boston, and I've been to many. Caffé Ducali is my new favorite and soon to be yours too!
