Dugan's Restaurant & Bar

Popular neighborhood sports bar in the mall. Menu is limited to burgers, Mexican dishes, wings and other bar food. We had a delicious burger and cheese steak with a Caesar salad and fries we shared. We also had wine and sweet water draft beer. Nice selection of draft beer. Lots of TVs and pretty loud music. Service was outstanding. There was a youth soccer team on the enclosed patio. I with they didn’t use plastic flatware.

Dugan’s is our go-to place for wings. The food offerings are your typical bar fare - burgers, fries, wings, etc. Orders come out quickly and are very tasty. What’s even better though, is that there is a homey, community vibe. The place is spacious and clean. Yolanda “Yo yo” was our server & she did a great job. Attentive, sincere, very genuine & friendly. There were two of us for dinner & we thought the price was quite reasonable. From the posters near our table it looks as if they have Karaoke & Trivia nights. There are big screens around too for people interested in getting a drink & watching a game. They have indoor & outdoor seating.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dugans, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! The garlic Parmesan wings were cooked to perfection—crisp on the outside and bursting with flavor. The honey hot wings were equally delightful, offering just the right balance of sweetness. To top it off, the drinks were strong yet delicious, perfectly complementing our meal. Our waitress, Yo-Yo, was the highlight of our visit. She was amazing—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. Overall, Dugans exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly give them a 5-star review. I can't wait to return and enjoy more of their fantastic offerings! Highly recommended!

It's an all new spot since November 2023. The last one standing from what most people know and remember. The atmosphere is probably the best thing about Dugans. You will see a variety of people at different times of the day, but all are welcomed at all times of the day. Now they have Karaoke Night, which is a blast! Trivia night draws a full bar and tables. I hear good things about Poker Night, too. They have DJ Lowki on Saturday and Sundays.

Dugan’s Pub & Bar is the perfect spot for a fun night out! The atmosphere is lively, especially on karaoke nights, where the energy is contagious, and everyone is ready to have a great time. Highly recommend for a fun night with friends!

Dugan's is a great place to get out and enjoy yourself while eating fantastic food. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You gotta get the beer battered mushrooms! They are wonderful! See you guys soon!

The food would have been better if the orders were correct. I asked for plain wings and received garlic parmesan. I am allergic to garlic. Did not receive the correct dressing. The restaurant does not purchase to go cups. The service speed was fairly reasonable. Everything else left a lot to be desired.

We celebrated my mom's birthday here! The Food and drinks was BOMB! Vibes were definitely there. Service was exceptional and waitress Yo-Yo was attentive and friendly. Music was on point. Shoutout to the DJ! I'm definitely coming back. GREAT date night or girls night spot.

We had the creole shrimp, fried mushrooms, lemon pepper wings, boneless "nuggets". All were great. Drinks were strong. Service was good, but slow to get the check. I expected more of a tavern vibe, but the place was nice and clean.

I was crushed when the Ponce location closed, but happy to know that Dugans is back in business across town! Location and Parking Located directly in front of Northlake mall, parking is plentiful and free. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant is spacious and clean, with a covered patio to boot. 25 TVs surround the bar, making it an ideal place to watch sports. I visited for trivia on Thursday night, which was a fun experience in itself. Service Our waitress Yolanda was lovely and personable. Food and Beverages I'm happy to report that the wings are delicious as always! I do recommend getting them "extra wet," especially the lemon pepper. The drinks are strong yet flavorful, and prices are very reasonable for what you get. Verdict I'll be back for a Falcon's game!

This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time! 1. Cocktails... two people in my party cocktails; a Jack & Ginger and a Rum & Coke. Both drinks came out in an 8oz glass with what looked to be 2oz of liquid, including ice. Our server then advised that the $12 cocktails were the size of shots there. Needless to say, these were both sent back and she replacement them with beer. 2. The wings have a reputation that truly needs to be evaluated. The lemon pepper wet sauce tasted like Pledge furniture cleaner with a healthy sprinkling of black pepper. This is Atlanta... get your wings right! 3. The bacon burger had absolutely no flavor. I questioned if I had covid at this point as I couldn't taste the bacon or onions. My covid fears were assuaged once I ate a French fry as these were the saltiest fries I have ever had! 4. Fajitas tasted great but we had to ask for all the condiments (salsa, cheese, lettuce, sour cream) as they were not included on the side plate and the server didn't know they accompanied the fajitas. 5. Service... everyone was incredibly nice and personable.... But... no one had any idea what their menu was or includes. We also had to constantly flag someone down as we were never checked on. Overall, this place is a mess and it's a one and done spot!

The Philly sandwiches we ordered were delicious along with our side salad. It was plenty of food. Yoyo, our server, was very friendly and we got our food quickly. It looks like it could be a fun place as there's something going on just about every night I.e. karaoke, poker, trivia etc.

My hubby and I decided to try Dugan's tonight and we had such a wonderful time! The atmosphere was so fun. Everyone was so nice. Especially Yolonda aka Jojo who served us with such excitement and was very nice and respectful and very fun! Amazing service and the food was huge servings and absolutely delicious! We will be back & highly recommend you try it. All week there are fun activities, like karaoke, poker night and great music playing with sports screens to watch. Great addition to Tucker & conveniently located in Northlake Mall. Do ask for Yolanda when you go in!

I love the music!! I had a great time with my son. We were looking for a place to watch the Thursday night games. The service was incredible, the server attended to our needs. The food was great, it was well seasoned, we took left overs. Only thing I will complain about it that, they had a juke box, I put $10, I picked some songs, then they started Trivia night, so I didn't get the opportunity to hear my selections. Other than that it was good.

I'm going to give Dugan's credit for having really personable bartenders. The food is horrible and the 2 times I've eaten there I've gotten food poisoning, so I'm never going back there again. There were patrons there last night specifically for the $24.99 all you can eat crab legs, but apparently it's a scam to try to get folks to come in because the manager disclosed that there were extenuating circumstances that prevented them from getting in the crab legs but still they advertise that they have that special twice a week, even though they've never been able to provide that.

I love that the new location is closer to where I live...walking distance. I love the drinks and Dugan's! You don't need much to have fun. The food is more so sports comfort food. The team there is always friendly and ready to have a good time! The feel is very casual! You can come to just relax or enjoy a good game.

Good vibes and good bar food here. No frills, just tasty wings and tasty drinks! They have tons of tvs for watching sports plus a jukebox for playing any music you want to hear. They have a Hennessey margarita for those of you who indulge. The wings are pretty good here, and they will fry them crispy upon request. You can tell they're still building a clientele, so sometimes it's a little dead. It's in the same shopping center as Northlake Mall, which is like a ghost town, honestly. It's next to the Foot locker entrance. So there is plenty of parking. Hopefully, more folks start to patronize this place. They have a happy hour starting Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm

I absolutely love their shrimp in Cajun sauce. It's spicy enough to give me hiccups on the first bite. And even stronger are the flavored Long Island ice teas. Two drinks and I'm happy.

Awesome place ! Kevin, Dave and Mike are wonderful ! The salmon is outstanding ! All the bartenders are always helping, serving and super friendly! Gigi , Roxane , Cali , Troy , Tip and the rest of the team are outstanding! I very highly recommended Dugan's in Tucker !

I used to come here when it originally was the Fork in the Road. I was interested to see what they did to remodel the space, and to experience the food. The restaurant is a typical sports bar with lots of TVs mounted on the wall, music is playing loudly, and the people at the bar make up 85 percent of the patrons. The food was good, and my server was good. The bartender and the "other" server were busy dancing and socializing and not much else. It was too loud and the visit was a letdown. I will probably not return anytime soon. I know it is a sports bar, and I didn't expect it to be quiet, but this was just shy of a nightclub.

I came here on a whim about a week ago. I've been here four days in a week. The wings are that good Add to this Roxanne, barkeep extraordinary, serving up great drinks, and you're next level. Finally, there are the patrons, who remind me of Cheers. Good food, good drinks and service, good company. You can't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Long story short, I visited Dugan's for the first time last weekend. Myself and a friend dined in and I also made a to go order for my boys. My dine in service was mediocre, as they brought out the wrong order but corrected it with no problem. But then, I get home and as I'm getting ready for work, I hear my son yell "is that a bug in my food?" A whole, live maggot in the lettuce for his burger. I return the food to Dugan's (which was a major inconvenience being that I had to go to work) and the "manager" asked if I wanted him to "take it off"? I asked him to refund the whole order. He asked me to send him the video and then went to the register and grabbed $27 in cash and gave it to me. So he only refunded the food that was to go.

Great food! the game was on! Loud,modern sports bar. Clean, Get the Lemon Pepper. Trust me!!!! Ask for Carmen! Super nice! Great to have a good choice in Tucker open late too!!!!!

I was a frequent Dugans customer from around 1991. Lived across the street from it. I can't even begin to compare this Dugans to that Dugans. It's definitely night and day. Hubby and I went one afternoon when a lot of friends from the old Dugans were there. It was fun, but different. The difference, kids. No one in their right mind would bring their kids to the old Dugans. But it is what it is. The drinks were still the same, the wings were a little smaller. Still one of the best burgers in town. The place is really nice and I know once they're finished with it, it will serve the community well. I doubt if I'll be visiting too much. The location is kinda far for us. But I'm glad that they kept Gigi and it was really good to see Dave. On to the next phase for Dugans.

Great food. Cool service. Okay location. Great parking. Good energy. You use keep the juke box singing otherwise it defaults to classic Broadway tunes. ...which isn't too bad. However. LOL.

Great sports bar for wings and other quick bites! Glad they relocated and the atmosphere is great. I've been a few times and stick to wings and fries. The drinks are good as well and strong.

The nachos are good and the servers were nice, but it took ten minutes and giving our drink order to three different servers to finally get our drinks. Not sure if there's a lack of management or servers are new but they didn't seem to have sections and no host. I would definitely not return to eat in, maybe only getting food to go as a last resort. Disappointing.

Service was good yet website mentioned they had lunch from 11 AM to 6 PM when we addressed it with our server and Manager he said it ended at three. Very misleading also Manager was very rude & throws the menu at the wall when addressing us and had a very bad attitude. Food was 5/10 do not recommend!

Depressingly average. Very slow service and two imperfect orders at the end of the wait (and another wait for the check). Food was pretty good but not quite what we ordered. Had a good feel and it's nice to have a full service place close to the house but we'll see.

Dugan's is a great vibe! Play great music and have great servers. I went during an open mic night so they were considerably busy. I'll start by saying the wings are FAR from large. They should probably take that off their menu because it is false advertising. I should've took a picture of the wings but they were ttiiiinnyyyyyyy. and cold. Fries were good (and warm????) Would probably return for the open mic, would not return for food. Would not recommend wings especially if you're expecting them to be large. Extra: *servers do not wear mask *no social distancing

My wife and I dropped by the new location two weeks ago. I never got a chance to visit Duggan's on Ponce, but I always welcome a good restaurant in the Northlake area. (They moved into the old Thumbs Up/Fork in the Road space at the mall.) The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the atmosphere was terrific. We even got a chance to meet the manager, Mike West, who checked on us and shared some of the restaurant's history. I know seeing Duggan's leave their old location was hard, but I'm glad they set up shop near us.

The food was great!!! We had Lemon Pepper and Hot Honey wings as a starter. The wings were cooked to perfection! My family had the shrimp with creole garlic butter, cheeseburger, fries, yellow rice and broccoli. All of it was excellent! The wait staff were friendly and attentive. It was a whole vibe in the patio area and at the bar. They even had charaoke! This is a great place with great food and kind people. I'm in town visiting family but I'll be back before going home.

If you are looking for the Dugans of yesteryear, keep looking. Unfortunately, I fear this restaurant may not make it in its new location. The waitress assured me nothing had changed other than the address . She stated management and the food was still the same. However , I strongly disagree about the food being the same as it was when they were located on Ponce. They have definitely changed the food. The wings look like they have been pumped up with steroids. They were gross! When I visited today it was empty and now I know why. The service left a lot to be desired even though there are literally three people in here. To add insult to injury, they have the audacity to serve dollar tree generic ketchup!! why not fork over a few cents more to get Heinz??? Even the sprite was nasty. It had an awful chemical aftertaste. Tasted like old cough syrup. Unless management makes some serious changes, this place will close faster than it opened! Well one and done for me.

Dugan's should update their menu to specify that ordering all flats or all drums is no longer an option. I never encountered this issue when they were located on Ponce. My friend and I prefer all flats. However, the waitress informed us that it wasn't allowed, though this information wasn't stated on the menu. Politely, I requested to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, his demeanor and nonchalant attitude were disappointing. I even inquired about paying extra for a 20-piece order of all flats, but he shook his head no, and that was the end of it. While our waitress was kind and friendly, we decided not to patronize this particular Dugan's location. We left and headed to JR Crickets across the street, where we received better service, and the wings were very good!!!

My dining experience was great! The service, drinks, food, and ambiance were perfect. Dugan's is an oldie but goodie (back when it was on Ponce), so I was super excited to see it moved to my area. My husband and I love a good sports bar! Please go check them out.

Relaxed fun atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful! I want to THANK Dominique for assisting me on two different occasions accommodating my friends and family in groups of 8 or more! He got us set up and checked on us repeatedly!

The food is really good, always served fresh. The drinks are also really good! The service is great. The ambiance is also really nice, like a sports bar.

First things first... this is a dive bar. It's a sports bar restaurant but ultimately a dive bar! It's important to know that to make sure your expectations are set appropriately. If you want good food, good music, all for a great price, Dugans is your spot! I recommend sitting at the bar! There's plenty of space and my girl Marsha is the best! She took care of my large and crazy group of girls. The WINGS!! Oh the wings!!! All the food was good but the wings were on point! Every flavor you could imagine cooked to crisp perfection. The Philly cheesesteak, nacho fries, nachos, quesadilla all were great! Drinks were strong, just the way we wanted! Music is what you want it to be. They have a jukebox with a wide variety of songs for your listening pleasure.

I attended one of the final days of business at Dugans on Ponce and had a great time. A lot of old friends from the past showed up. My lemon pepper wings were perfect for a change and the beer was on point. Definitely an end of an era. I probably won't frequent the 'new location' in DeKalb County at Northlake Mall. It's over. I have been going to Northlake Mall Dugan's location weekly since they opened. The service at this location is some of the worst I have ever seen in my life for the last couple of months, servers will not wait on certain tables, and on two separate occasions, I had to get my own drinks and food ordered at the bar and carry them back to our table because there were no servers that would wait on our table. I have even seen servers fussing about having to wait on our table. However, other different race customers around us are being served without hesitation on all four sides of us, so I'm not sure why we don't get the same level of customer service. I'm beginning to wonder if Dugan's staff is told not to wait on certain tables or customers hoping that guests will leave. I have experienced this first hand and I have seen it several times while in the restaurant, where customers were never waited on, so they left after about 20 minutes. I would definitely not recommend this location.

It's absurd that this spot has such low ratings -- the wings are really good and it has a fun atmosphere! Plus, there's never a wait compared to the spots across the street AND they don't run out of wings! These wings are New York style, which means they're smaller than you might be used to. You should order more to account for that! However, I'm a fan of smaller wings because I think they're often done crispier and are easier to clean off the bone. The wings were cooked perfectly to me. The sauces we got were buffalo and lemon pepper wet. Personally I wouldn't think to order any other at a wing place, but you do you! The buffalo was pretty mild but the lemon pepper was very lemony, which I loved. I think the sauce application could be improved -- it looked like it was just poured on cold, instead of warm or coated on once while frying and once after (again, my preference!) BUT, this also meant that the wings didn't get too saucy, which I liked because I could actually taste the chicken! Didn't love the fries that came with -- crinkle cut and they needed a bit of salt! But good texture, huge portion, and great vehicle for dipping. Our service was amazing -- our waitress anticipated every need! The music was loud (almost too loud -- we couldn't hear each other), and people were dancing which was fun. Their patio also seemed live! Overall, wings worth coming back for! I'll be sad to see this restaurant go from Ponce, but glad they're relocating to Northlake Mall and not shutting their doors completely.

I'm a regular customer. It's insulting to come here during March Madness and the staff give you attitude because you ask them in the nicest way to change the channels to various games. The place is dang near empty and that's why. If you don't want to work in a sports and you don't like sports and basketball quit or take the day off. How the hell you going to have attitude and the place is almost empty. It's bad enough the drinks is awful now. Mgmt hire folks WhoDat least like sports this male manager is not worth the paper yawl print his check on. If you come here for any March Madness game expect to be treated like "Why you here"

It's always love at Dugans. If you a Atlanta native you know what's up, the DJ is always on point aligned with the drinks. Service at the bar is tricky if you are not a "regular" but overall they take care of any issues and treat you with respect. The wings are fresher than JR crickets for sure and so is their salads and carrot/celery and salads. The only caveat is I wish they had in house made ranch and blue cheese.

First time visiting was today, was gonna go to ponce city market but saw this little restaurant wasn't that packed plus they had a no wait to dine in on Mothers Day!! You can tell they are very under staffed but our waiter was very efficient cool and had a good vibe. The wait time was not bad at all. You seat yourself and the staff greets you. Drinks came fast and the food was amazing!!!!! I had the chicken bites (hot) and fries with a Caesar salad, my husband had the garlic shrimp yellow rice broccoli and a garden salad and brother n law had a chicken quesadilla oh, we also had the spinach dip! The food was on point! I was not disappointed at all! I will be back for sure!!!

Was there on this past Monday. Ordered a drink, and the drink was not what I ordered. We were polite when we informed our waitress that our drink was not what we ordered. The waitress didn't return, but sent the owner over to our table. He approached us with these words: "ladies, we aren't making your drinks over." I was baffled. I asked why, and informed him his customer service was totally unacceptable. We politely left. Not wanting to be labeled "angry black women." However, I couldn't believe that was his response. There was no justifiable reason. I've been a few times before, and never had any issues. I'll never go back.

Been here a few times, and like every restaurant there are free refills. This time, waitress ROSE every chance she got asked my 12 year old if he wanted another root beer. He of course said yes each time. Ticket comes after the meal - she charged him for 3 root beers! Call her on her sh*t and she said "we don't do free refills here." Man, what a scam artist. Never going back.

Two stars because wings were good. Came to watch falcons game thinking I would be right at home and it was $10 to park.... Can understand how this place will be moving soon. Sad we as black people cant just enjoy each other. No other paid parking at ANY restaurant around. Just the black owned spot? Not a good look

I was in Atlanta to see my grandmother while on my way back home to San Antonio from Kill Devil Hill on the OBX, NC. I need a drink and a smoke after the LONG drive with the kids, so I hit instagram to see what ATL was talking about and I place I could smoke my cigars. Well, I was informed that Dugans had hookah and I could smoke indoors, unlike Texas Establishes, so I was like, on my way. I was informed that it was the midtown area and was pretty chill. I arrived to a full lot with music blasting, which is a good sign to me. Had fun, great night

We were visiting Atlanta from Texas, and planned to go to The Local across the street for wings. They were out of wings so we ended up stumbling upon Dugan's! The food was great, the prices were great, and the atmosphere was great. Our best part of the experience though was the service. Our waitress Vanillope "V" was excellent. She was friendly, helpful and highly attentive without being intrusive. She truly was a joy. I never write reviews, but I really wanted to acknowledge this as servers rarely get the credit they're due. Thank you to V and Dugan's for a great dinner and night out :)

Reminded me of the many great nights I used to have at the Dugan's on Memorial Drive. For some bizarre reason I have never been to this location before. The drinks are just as strong and karaoke just as memorable. With everything else in this neighborhood being overpriced, I appreciate Dugan's offering budget friendly libations. We had a good time and would return.

Dugan's is a vibe! What I love about Dugan's is that it's in the middle of the city, in a very hipster area, but reminds me of something you'd get in my hometown. Like a spot in the hood/country where everyone goes to just have a good time! Very diverse age-wise.... where one might be likely to run into your lil' cousin, or your auntie. There's karaoke. It's a great place to watch sports -- not a bad spot in the place as far as the TVs are concerned. If you don't want the crowd of the inside, you can sit outside on the patio. People there just chill, dance and have a funky good time! As far as the food - no go. Well, the tacos anyway. Stick to wings. No issues with the service. It's a little confusing because there's not really a hostess stand or instructions so if it is your first time here.. just know you come in and you plop down wherever you can find a seat. There is parking behind the building. It can get pretty tight though, so Uber may be a better option.

Went in and the waitress said we could sit wherever we wanted. Sat at a table for 20 minutes and she never returned. Walked around to other tables and even danced. After her second song we left. Trash service, never going back.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Terrible customer service and poorly managed. It's a disgrace honestly. On top of that they are practicing NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. All employees have no mask. No socially distance seating. No bottled only ANYTHING. I asked for a Corona (because it was the only thing I saw in a capped bottle) and was told that they could not serve it closed. Not to mention the waitress ignored 80% of the table, expect 2 men that seemed to catch her attention more than the rest of the table. I didn't stay nor did I eat or drink anything. I Would NEVER RECOMMEND.

I'm gonna start with 2 stars because I'm here alone, I'm 6 feet tall and still waiting for service.. wtf?! I love the wings.. but this ratchetness beginning at the bar has me concerned. Let me take my butt back to Dunwoody ... I've out grown this.
