Yelp
I've been wanting to come to this place since I first heard about it in 2019 and I FINALLY made it and I now have another favorite restaurant!
The food is SOOOOO good, I came here two days in a row with the same person since it's one of her favorite restaurants as well. Lol! The food is really good! I'm telling you!
Day 1: We came here for lunch and was glad to beat the lunch crowd considering it got full quickly, especially with Cayce City Police since apparently this is their lunch spot lol.
First and foremost, the menu is so tantalizing, I had a hard time deciding on what to get. I got the chicken wing on a stick with the sesame chicken and vegetables and brown rice. The yellow curry sauce that came with the dish is VERY flavorful and pure perfection, I wish I had more. My chicken was cooked perfectly, so were my vegetables. The brown rice was perfect as well. Now let's talk about the chicken wing on a stick. You get two of them first of all and they're under the "street eats" section of the menu. Whoever thought to put a whole chicken wing on a stick needs a Nobel Peace Prize or Lifetime Achievement Award because that was pure genius! The chicken, both days I went, was perfectly fried! I'm talking deep fried and crispy yet still juicy with steam coming out it as sooooonnnnn as you bit into it! The chicken was glistening! I'm in pure love with them! They were never dry, bland or anything! The flavor is **muah** beautiful!
Day 1 cont: My godmother, who is vegan, got the Basil Thai Noodles with the fried tofu nuggets. The nuggets were amazing! You couldn't tell they were fried tofu nuggets, that's how well seasoned they were. Her bowl looked amazing and is on my list for a later visit.
Day 2/Next Day: We came here for dinner and we beat the dinner crowd meaning we got to choose where to sit. This time I got the Sweet and Spicy Ramen with Chicken, and the Chicken Wing on a Stick. Once again, not disappointed! The ramen was the perfect balance of sweet and heat, yet if you're not a spicy food kind of person, don't do it to yourself because this level of "mild" is not for someone who likes "a little spice". This mild is borderline medium spice yet it's not overpowering. As stated, it was the perfect balance. I take off one point for the noodles not being a little firmer because I prefer firmer noodles, but hey 99 out of 100 isn't bad if you ask me. This time, my godmother got the ramen bowl with cashews and she got her husband the same yet without cashews.
The staff is super friendly and nice, and the ambiance is great. The food wait time isn't bad considering everything is cooked made to order. The food is definitely fresh; I'm enamored with this place. They're expanding the dining area as well as adding new items to the menu, so I'm excited to try them once they've rolled it out.
Do yourself a favor and go. You won't be disappointed!
