We have not been to Dukes in many years and I was actually pleasantly surprised by the menu and atmosphere. I can't believe it took us this long to return! The food was amazing. we ordered a soup and salad combo, salmon salad and salmon pasta. the portions were on the large side, you can certainly take half home or split it. Service was on point, very polite and attentive. I liked water cups as there are not the typical water cups, adds a nice color pop to the table. Definitely recommend this place

The food was very good! We went during happy hour. The sourdough offered was exceptional. Soft, fluffy, and great flavor. We got the salmon bites, crab dip, and prawns as appetizers. For the mains we shared the seafood lobster Mac and cheese, the chowder, and a salad! My only complaint it was just super overpriced for what you get. Probably would never go back. Now everything is wild caught and local/ semi local so I get things can cost more but it was just not for me again.

Google
Absolutely amazing! I ordered a margarita, sweet soup, salad, crab non-cakes, and the Betty Boop cookie. Nothing disappointed! The soup was delicious with an unexpected sweetness due to the sweet potatoes. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve had coast to coast! It fell apart in a good way. Dessert was a skillet cookie and brownie with ice cream. It was a little over baked but delicious! I sat at the bar and the staff were wonderful. The kitchen was a little far on the food to which the staff asked if I wanted to hold it slow things down. No worries as it worked out. Parking was ok but definitely busy. I’m guessing it can be tricky but I didn’t seem to have an issue.

I gotta tell you, this was a very unexpected surprise! Though I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant, I feel obligated to do so today. Based solely on the name I expected great food but of course based on its location, I expected less than as far as service, atmosphere, and ambiance. Let's start with the location. I find Kent square to be quaint. And, Dukes location within Kent square to be choice. The atmosphere was dark and Moody, just the way I'd like it. And the service, was what brought it all together. Our server, let's call him. Was able to satisfy a request that was, off the menu. My wife and I inquired on getting a flight of beers which Dukes does not do. Eddie, not only was able to accommodate our request but did so with flair. He was able to provide us a flight of eight beers on two fish-shaped trays. They made the experience all the more seeing as how Dukes is a seafood restaurant after all. The flight of beers were excellent and it gave us a good idea of what to order as far as drinks next time we come. Now for the bad, the food was just okay. The presentation of the food again was excellent. However, my Duke's cheeseburger which was supposed to be medium came well done and, though my wife 's stated that her halibut was very good. I observed that she only ate about half. However, even with the food only getting four stars, I got to tell ya! The service made all the difference. Overall the experience at Duke's, excellent! I will return in es that a second trip will prove my burger to have been a mistake.

Came here for a birthday dinner and had a great time. Ordered the calamari, clam chowder, and halibut stuffed with crab. The calamari was pretty good, lightly fried and cut into big pieces. Good small appetizer to share with the table. The chowder, the classic was the best out of the three I had. We ordered the dingy size which was perfect for sampling them all and dipping the bread in. Classic is just as you expect with a good consistency highly recommended. The other two being the seafood and lobster were ok. Didn't feel super special compared to the clam chowder, kind of a one note, not bad but doesn't compare to the classic. The main course was the stuffed halibut with crab and side of veggies. A lot of meat and works super well together, veggies were cooked well on the side. Overall a good meal.

Flavorful and colorful seafood combos, warm service in a chain restaurant with happy vibes. The house pours are not that great so skip the wine and have a beer instead

Google
The service was excellent our server was very attentive to our needs. There were 6 of us including a toddler. The food was okay but pricey, $35 for fish and chips and $20 for a large bowl of chowder which was very salty for everyone. I'm not sure if I would come back.

Google
Haven’t been here in awhile. Looking for a nice place to take my wife on the eve of Mother’s Day and thought of Duke’s. Tried a new appetizer from the special menu- I think it was Mexican Street Corn Prawn Dip. Served with a Tajin coated lime wedge and yellow corn tortilla chips. My wife was dubious because the description included ‘jalapeños’ and she doesn’t tolerate spicy food well. But this was amazingly mild and SO DELICIOUS! Hot, creamy dip loaded with shrimp, corn, and lots of flavor. For entrees we had the Unchopped Seafood Salad- with prawns & scallops and I had the Miso Sesame Salad topped with a skewer of grilled prawns & scallops as well. Both were very generous portions and very satisfying. Drinks were tasty too- My wife had a Blueberry Lemon Drop and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

Yelp
Today I took a client here for a retirement lunch. Parking is a bit tight and busy but worked out. Our server was Carlia and she and her friends were great at most everything checking in often. My fish and chips were great although a very small coke slaw that had small bits of pineapple which made me want more! She loves their crab cakes and got a "dinghy" of chowder. I thought the "salad" with it looked great. It was like a compressed large cube of chopped avocado and tomato with a cilantro topping. Almost asked for a bite. Dukes is expensive and not my usual but it was a fantastic classy choice for this outing and well worth the cost for such good food and service in a town that lacks quality fine dining IMHO. Much better experience here than my previous stops at Alki and Lake Union!

Yelp
In town from Houston. Read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. From the moment we were seated our server Edward was very friendly and helpful. Very attentive to our needs. My friend had the Blueberry Lemon drop and I had the Oh Mai Tai cocktails. Both were awesome. For dinner we had Halibut dinners. Both plates were delish. Well worth the splurge. Restaurant atmosphere was excellent. Everyone should visit if you're looking for fresh seafood and friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
I went to Dukes with my mom for a typical dinner. I ordered a crab cake sandwich without cheese, plain. When it arrived, it had cheese, so as a former server, I tried to remove it, but it had already melted. I mentioned this to Adaya (who wasn't my server), and she was incredibly rude, condescending, and disrespectful! Not only to me, but to my mom as well. She looked at me and asked, "Can we just take the cheese off?" I explained that I couldn't eat melted cheese and asked if she could make a new one. She repeated her question while rolling her eyes, asking again, "Can we just take the cheese off?" I told her I'm allergic to cheese, hoping she would stop asking. I had already told her I didn't want the sandwich with melted cheese, yet she seemed frustrated with my request. It was especially odd because she wasn't even my server, so I didn't understand why she was so upset that I wanted my order corrected. When the manager came over, they were just as rude. This was a shocking experience since Dukes usually provides excellent service. Our actual server, Aldrine, was wonderful, understanding, apologetic, and tried her best to fix the issue, though I was already uncomfortable by then. At that point I did not want a new sandwich and my mother didn't feel comfortable finishing her food. I highly suggest avoiding this location unless Aldrine is working and can be your server. She was amazing! Unfortunately, this poor service ruined my dinner date with mother, and it was a very disappointing experience. Treated us as if we weren't paying customers. Aldrine, thank you so much for being so kind to us in a horrible situation! Your generosity meant a lot

Yelp
First time at the Kent location. I went on a week day. Happy hour started at 9pm until close. My server was excellent. She gave great recommendations for drinks and food. We were there past closing time and they were so kind when they had to kick us out, hahaha. It wasn't a busy night so that was cool. I prefer the other locations on the water but this one I think I will try to frequent more because it seems like a pretty low key spot.

Yelp
I've been to the location on South Lake Union prior and I recall that my impression was, meh. Awesome view of course. I'll tell you what, though, THIS is the spot to visit. Incredible service, amazing presentation and taste. We were treated like VIPs from start to finish. Tucked into Kent Station and very convenient to movies and other eateries and shopping. Parking is really not terrible if you give it a chance (knock on wood). Lovely staff here and the food is so good. Their chowder is award winning - we all know that chowder can run a spectrum; this one is both creamy AND peppery (often they are one or the other). For the entrees we got the fish and chips (you can pick what kind of fish, which is great; and also how many pieces you want) and the taco (it's a single giant taco with feta and avocado). Be sure you eat the taco as prepared. Don't try to pick it apart. You've got to taste all the flavors in combination. Highly Recommend.

Yelp
Dukes is tried and true! I love their food and Carlia provides the best service around. I thoroughly enjoy sitting on their umbrella covered patio sipping cucumber mojitos. Dukes has hands down the best calamari in the state and their salads are always on point. All-in-all you can't go wrong with any menu item. Cheers!!

Yelp
The food here was really good. I don't know if the restaurant serving staff gets off early but we had no service after 8pm.

Yelp
Went to Duke's after church on recent Sunday and were very impressed. From the hostess to the server to the manager who came by to make sure we were happy, everyone was very accommodating. But the food! I ordered the shrimp appetizer with a dinghy of Lobster Mobster Pernod chowder while my wife chose the scallop ravioli. When the orders came out -- fairly quickly, I'd add -- I was blown away by my wife's selection. When I saw "scallop ravioli," I thought it would have scallops in the filling, not a full scallop on each and every one! Had I known, I'd have ordered that, too. Fortunately, my wife was generous enough to share. It was a little noisy on this particular Sunday afternoon, as it appears we weren't the only ones stopping by after church, though we MAY have been the only ones without kids. Nonetheless, and enjoyable lunch that we'll definitely repeat.

Yelp
Honestly this is the second time that we have had not great food. The cod was super dry, the sauce was good but cod way over cooked. Zucchini was so hard you couldn't stick a fork in it. The calm chowder was so smokey that my fiancé only ate half the bowl (he never leaves chowder behind!) and I was hoping to eat some but only took one bite because I didn't care for it. The cajun salmon sandwich was delicious overall but had to eat it minus the bread because the bread was so hard. (Might be a person preference) and the fries were great and tarter amazing. Overall unfortunately don't plan on going back.

Yelp
Came here for lunch one day. We were greeted and sat down right away. The waitress was very nice and her service was great! She also let us know Monday is 50% off bottles I ordered clam chowder and fish and chips. The clam chowder was good but I say Pikes Place chowder is better. The fish tasted odd. It wasn't warm or hot and seemed undercooked. The chips were tasty and crunchy but again not warm or hot. The slaw tasted good. It had sesame oil in it but it wasn't cold. The next morning we had stomach issues and everything else we ate that day were normal things we ate except for dukes. It was unfortunate as we figured out we got food poisoning. Again the 3 stars is mostly for our server.
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoy all the Dukes locations but this one is close to my home and so I come here the most often. Over the years the wait staff and bartenders have changed but the food remains consistently delicious. I love the oh my cod fish and chips. The fish is always fresh and delicious. The Caesar salad, although fairly bland is very good. I miss the days they had the blue cheese version but they are happy to put some blue cheese on top if you ask. They go out of their way to accommodate special requests and did I mention that the service is excellent? I recommend Dukes highly. It is a bit noisy but you can get a booth In the back. Enjoy.

Yelp
We love their seasonal outdoor dining, especially in these pandemic times. The lobster bisque is delicious. My husband loves their fish and chips; he's right that their white fish is exceptional! All of our other entrees have been good as well. They are also quite attentive to allergies and other food issues. I'd prefer less bacon in their clam chowder. The hops in the hard cider were an unwelcome addition; those aren't listed as an ingredient in the menu item, and we won't order that item again. We've had very good service when we dined there on our wedding day and on our first and second anniversaries.

Yelp
Went here for a work function. We made reservations and was taken cared of very quickly. Party of 10 and not once did we feel that they forgot about us. Great selection of food and even for those picky eaters. Will definitely recommend it to others. Though its a bit pricy in my opinion.

Cyndie M.

Yelp
Eddie has been our server several times and he is outstanding! Love Dukes! They are on the pricey side, but have decent deals on food & drinks during HH.
google avatar

Reba H.

Yelp
Dukes has been around as long as I can remember. It's an easy choice for seafood chowder and crabcakes. Their rockfish tacos are also really good. I like their seasonal cocktail choices as well. My favorite dish of theirs is the crab cake. I would not recommend the deviled egg. It's underseasoned and underwhelming. If you want an excellent deviled egg though, I recommend Communion in Seattle.
google avatar

Christy H.

Yelp
Ok this is legitimately the lunch spot! Rockfish tacos my go-to. I can't get enough of it! The sauce is a bit sweet for my husband's liking but I didn't mind them so much. He got their burger and he said he's stuffed after. It was indeed a huge burg! He got the Moscow mule and said it was refreshing. We'll be back soon! I'm surprised the servers doesn't know us by now!

Erica B.

Yelp
We love Duke's seafood and chowder House. I typically order the 3 course meal because I really love the lobster mobster chowder, likr wild mixed salad and the fish tacos are always delish. However, this time the specials looked really good so my husband got the fresh halibut which he said was delicious and I ordered the seafood pesto linguine which had ample amounts of crab, shrimp, salmon and white fish. It was bomb!! Service was great, food was great. Dessert was also fabulous.
google avatar

Melissa U.

Yelp
I love this place for a quick seafood fix without all the frills before a movie. The quality of the seafood at this place is stellar for the price. My husband always orders the halibut stuffed with crab. My favorite is the stuffed and puffed prawns, which is shrimp stuffed with crab. We always order the calamari for appetizer, which I'm sad that they now serve half as much per order as they did in the past...but that's inflation! The side veggies are always crisp and perfectly seasoned. We also got scratch margaritas, which were perfectly made and packed a punch without all the added sugar.

Yelp
First I'd never been to Kent Station and my what a nice x surprise this was to see all the cool restaurants and shopping! I've been to numerous Duke's around the city and this one had the same good vibes and our server was great constantly filling our water glasses and tending to our table. We started off with the tender deep fried super calamari steak strips with a tequila lime aioli and wasabi aoli. For lunch I had the Dukes Unchopped Seafood Salad that came loaded with seared scallops and prawns, cashews, avocado, tomato, feta, and a nice garlic-basil-lemon-olive oil dressing. I also got the salad it Duke's way, which is chopped and tossed. We also had the pan seared coho salmon with a crusted ginger and basil top with organic fresh herbs and Grand Marnier with a balsamic infused beurre blanc all on top of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The salmon was nice and moist! All in all a nice lunch and would recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
So good!!! Food: amazing. I had the 4 chowder sampler and got an additional bowl of clam chowder because it was that good. My boyfriend had the scallop ravioli and said it was delicious. The chowders were all gluten free (!) and they had so many gluten free options - even carrot cake for dessert, which was also delicious! Service: also amazing! We had Tyler and he was phenomenal. So great with my gluten free status - he even got us chips and salsa instead of bread!! Wish I lived closer - I would be a regular.

Yelp
TEN STARS if I could. Excellent service from the front door to our seats and the entire night. Tonight's specials are out of this world. I thoroughly enjoyed the scallops and pumpkin squash ravioli (pictured) and look forward to having it again. My dates (wife and daughter) had the Almond crusted Cod, and fish n chips. Desert is the Marion berry cobbler and does not disappoint. We usually go to the Dukes on the waterfront in Tacoma but was near this one in Kent and we'll be back.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
They have outdoor seating for both of you and your pets. Friendly and prompt service. Fish and chips are good and fresh. Seafood cioppino is delicious and not too salty. Steak is a little bit disappointed.

Evan c.

Yelp
Been here a couple times came back, was looking forward to eating the chowda. Service great, the food tasted like it was from long John silvers but was as expensive as a flight to get the hell out of there
google avatar

Daveena S.

Yelp
Went in on a Wednesday afternoon during happy hour with a few friends to catch up in a chill environment. During this time the restaurant was not busy and some may even say slow.. all was well until our server was checking in on us repeatedly to the point we couldn't even finish our conversation in peace. It was extremely annoying and unnecessary but we got his point, paid our bill and left. Not the best treatment to get customers to return.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Everything was delicious here! The burgers are high quality meat, grass fed - locally sourced. The service was 10/10 Carlia was very accommodating & helpful when I needed a special request!! Nice setting, service makes or break a place & they did it right!! Thank you! Will definitely be back. Oh! And definitely complete your meal w their Brookie. Soooo delicious!!!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
This was a perfect stop for a cocktail and a snack. Their chowder is heaven, and their cocktails are wonderful as well, although both ran a little sweet. The calamari and bread are tried and true classics. Our waitress was absolutely warm and charming. We enjoyed our time here! They were excellent in their masking policy and they were sanitizing tables. We felt safe and sound :)

Kimberlee G.

Yelp
Food is always high quality and you get a generous serving for what you are paying. All staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly. We will for sure go back!
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Always a solid choice at kent station. Clean and service is pretty good. Food is always good and there is always a seasonal type menu. Great for a quick business lunch.
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
I had chowder on my mind when in Kent on business, and Duke's seemed to randomly appear in order to fulfill my lunch needs. Location in Kent Station, Duke's conveys an appearance of an higher end seafood esthetic, yet with reasonable pricing. I was originally going to order some clam chowder New England-style in a regular sized bowl, yet chose something different. I chose a tomato-based chowder in the same sized bowl called North by Northwest Seafood Chowder, and wow! I completely regret not upsizing my choice. The mix of different Pacific Northwest fish within the various herb seasonings allowed for me to really savor the taste even after various swigs of my 14-ounce IPA draft brew. The tomato-based chowder (having for the first time ever) convinced me that there is so much more variety than a New England-based chowder. Combined with the excellent customer service shown by both the manager & server, I'll certainly return for encore of Duke's additional seafood choices.
google avatar

Dany M.

Yelp
Service was nice but the food was really bad and over-priced I ate salmon with cherry and was horrible. My mom ate another grill salmon and was not tasty. We spent 100 dollars for 2 salmon that didn't taste good. We are not going back
google avatar

William K.

Yelp
Great food. Can't want anything more than that! Always cooked as desired. Too bad not accepting DoorDash today
google avatar

Diego V.

Yelp
We tried different plates from appetizers (Crab cakes) to Salmon and Crab Sandwich. All were fresh and delish! Tried a couple of margaritas which were OK but have definitely tried better for same price or less. Service was good, our waiter was always checking we were taken care of. Ambiance was nice to talk with your date, very chill. We went on Valentines. Overall, high quality but pricey!
google avatar

Jm P.

Yelp
It's such a small cramped restaurant but I was seated pretty quick and my server was friendly. They have several types of chowder so I ordered the trio dinghy with the classic chowder, a lobster bisque and the northwest. All were good but you can't beat the classic.

Titi A.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and it was completely booked but the manager was so kind to us that she went out of her way to give us a table. Our waitress was Tierra and she was so good and efficient! She was very kind and pleasant ! I ordered the "Un" Chopped Seafood Salad and my husband had Rockfish tacos. The food was very fresh and the portions super generous! We will definitely come back and enjoy another great meal! To the Duke's team : keep up the great job you are all doing ! Thank you for giving your very best to your customers.
google avatar

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Dukes is always a solid choice. Happy hour is from 3-6 everyday and they have a nice patio with umbrellas for the sunny days. Order a few items off the happy hour menu to share for a snack or late lunch. I recommend the Coco Loco prawns and the Salmon Sliders. The crab cakes are okay but can be hit or miss on whether they are dry or not. Blueberry lemon drops are also good, not too sweet.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
Man I've had some chowder's in the past, but when you put award winning chowder on your menu, heck those are some big expectations.. all I'm going to say is put it in BOLD LETTERS. This Siht was goooood. The food had great flavor and the Service was fast, and the customer service was on Point 1-10 i give it a 12. This place is well recommended. Another satisfy customer.
google avatar

Chelle C.

Yelp
The manager Hayley was so charming and funny, service was great and my food was delicious. Will be back
google avatar

Lori C.

Yelp
The service is always wonderful and the food good. We like it because it is close to home, but every time we think of going the cost verses quality leads us to choosing a different option. They recently remodeled (moved the hostess station out of the middle of dining area and bar) to make more room for more seating. Luckily we went for lunch so hardly anyone was there, otherwise neighbor tables are so close it's like they're joining you for dinner. My husband had the small bites appetizer, literally two bites, they did not lie. I had the half order of their "Un" Chopped Seafood Salad. I recommend you get it chopped and tossed Duke's Style. This is always a winner filled with seafood and a low carb dressing. We each also had a small bowl of their Lobster Mobster Pernod Chowder. It's actually more like a deep plate. While it is Ok, it does not compare to the Lobster Shop's Lobster Bisque. You get twice as much soup, drizzled with sweet Vermouth for only $11.00 instead of $18.00 and a beautiful waterfront view! I have to confess that I drag my husband there, who gripes about the cost the entire time, mainly to get their Blueberry Lemon Drop. So good! $90.00 for a quick lunch out. You will have to decide if it's worth it....for us (me) it occasionally is.

Yelp
When we arrived, the staff was very attentive and friendly. We were seated after a short wait. The floor was a little crowded (narrow aisles), but the tables were clean and neatly set. Once seated, we were greeted by our server and offered beverages. They arrived without delay. My wife ordered the stuffed halibut and I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp. Both entrees arrived after a short wait and looked very nice. The shrimp were delicious and perfectly cooked. I really liked the sauce that came with the shrimp. The halibut dish was delicious as well. It was well seasoned, had a great flavor, and was perfectly cooked. My only reason for giving 4 vs 5 stars was the price. I consider this to be a mid-range restaurant, not high end. Unfortunately, their prices have become very high-end with both dishes being in the range of $40 per plate. I know the pandemic and inflation has been rough on everyone, but these prices have gotten out of hand. Good location, good staff, very good food, overpriced. Not somewhere that we will be going to again "on a whim" to spend a $100 on lunch for 2.
google avatar

Rose K.

Yelp
Came here with a group from work. Ordered a New York old fashioned which was really good. Had the Cajun corn chowder that was hot and the consistency was creamy. The spice was perfect. This chowder was the best part of the meal. This was followed by the blueberry goat cheese salmon. The salmon was really dry and overcooked. The grilled veggies under the salmon were nothing special and very bland. For a dish over 30.00 to be so poorly executed, I probably won't return.
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
Food was good, dinner for 4 with appetizers, oysters, drinks and meals $350 A little spendy but good food with great friends A+ in my book

Angela L.

Yelp
The front staff are friendly and very attentive. Have have zero complaints. Our waitress was quick to clear our table, bring our food out, and refresh our drinks. Highly recommend her. The food... that's a no for me. I had the fettuccine with clams and shrimp on their valentines menu. It was NOT good. It tasted like decent steamed veggies with some fettuccine noodles in pasta water. It was supposed to be in butter sauce but I didn't taste it. It was a liquidy mess. If that is the recipe, it is terrible. If someone messed up prepping it, it needs to be fixed ASAP. On the upside, there were LOTS of clams.
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Thought I would try something new while in town this time and unfortunately Duke's did not live up to my hopes. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. I was surprised that they weren't busy which should have been a sign. I started off with a bowl of clam chowder since it was advertised as "world famous." I found it to be packed with lots of ingredients that made it extremely flavorful and left me wanting more. Honestly, the chowder is the only reason for the extra star. The stuffed Halibut on the other hand wasn't so good. The fish was rubbery as if it was overcooked or even worse: reheated. Besides being tough, I found it to have little to no flavor. I refuse to add salt or pepper as I believe a meal such as this should be seasoned properly and therefore shouldn't need any doctoring at the table. I don't feel like I will return as it felt like I just paid for an expensive bowl of soup and left with a lighter wallet and an empty stomach.
google avatar

Yelp
Brought my husband here for lunch today for his Birthday and I really wish I didn't. I don't think our waitress said one word to us other than "are you ready to order" the entire time we were there. She took his plate when there was still food on it. Took mine without asking if I was done either and then dropped the check again without speaking or asking if we may want anything else. Spinach salad, one piece fish and chips and one iced tea for $62 plus a tip which she didn't deserve but I am not an A-Hole so I left one. Food was ok. Felt like I just went in to make a $75 donation to dukes for my husbands Bday.

Yelp
Wow. Loved this place from the get go. Staff was exceptionally good in a natural way. And my word the food was phenomenal. We started with the crab topped deviled eggs, amazing. We had the crab salad which isn't your normal crab salad...so light but very flavorful. And since we were thirty minutes from happy hour we waited and then ordered the large bowl of chowder, and so glad we did because it was the best restaurant chowder we've ever encountered. The manager even brought us out a taster of the lobster bisque and said try that at a 25% bisque to 75% chowder...he calls it "clobster". He was so right. Anyway this is a far more glowing review than I ever remember sending and it is worth every word.

Yelp
So today was my parent's anniversary, and my wife and I wanted to treat them to something new for them. They have never been to Duke's and what was even more kick ass was that it was pretty local to where we live. (Kent Station) My dad went for the fish (Salmon)and chips, and it was more than he could handle. Good portion sizes of salmon and fries. My mom had a salad with a bowl of their traditional clam chowder... and she scarfed them both down. Although, I'm not sure who's favorite it was the most, between my wife or mom, when it came down to the warm sourdough loaf. Spread that butter on the warm loaf and mmm mmm mmm! I had the salad with grilled prawns and scallops, while my wife had the Seafood stuffed Prawns with veggies! We also ordered an appetizer of coconut prawns... ALL of which were sublimely delicious! Our service was impeccable from the start, as well! If I had only one complaint, it would be that they're a bit pricey. From the drinks to the meals.... just be prepared to spend some money... but the experience and present company was totally worth it! With that said, as always... enjoy and Happy Eating!!!

Yelp
Ok this place is great. The food was awesome and the service was even better. Tom and Eddie made this experience as good as it could have been. The Stuffed Salmon was fresh and full of flavor the Clam Chowder was one of the best I've had. The staff didn't rush me and walked through the entire menu given their favorites and treated me like an old friend. Eddie even let me sample the chowders since I couldn't choose while Tom made me one of his special gin cocktails. This was the perfect example of how customers should be treated. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Not being from the area I was not used to there being so much light at 9pm which made me overlook that fact that it was actually much later than I thought it was! We decided to go grab a bite and Duke's was still open and fish and chips sounded good so off we went. The server was very nice considering we were the last group and had effectively prevented the staff from going home early so we appreciated that. The food was decent. Nothing to complain about the fish and chips but chowder was pretty good. I'd come back just for that probably next time and get the sampler and try all of them in one go!

Yelp
Duke's is great! The food is amazing, chowder is fresh and tasty, and not too salty (which can be the case with chowders). The service was fast and our waiter was on top of it! Our drinks remained filled and our bread was refilled. We went during the week, so the crowd was light and fairly quiet. This is a bit of a splurge though, our table of 3 paid $150 with appetizers and alcohol. Perfect place for a nice family gathering, outdoor seating was also available
