Dylan's Candy Bar

People who have a sweet tooth will always look for candies that delights their taste buds and give them a slight sugar rush. This Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York attracts lots of adults and kids. You can see the kids jumping for joy as they walked into the store. Their happy smiling and excited faces were visible as they walked around looking for the candies they like. This place sell all sorts of chocolates and candies and everything looks fun and delicious. There’s truly a type of candy for everyone here! We bought some chocolates and sweet treats. Love all the cute and colourful decor they have in the store. Their prices for the candles were a bit expensive though but I think it’s worth the money when you can see the happy faces on the kiddies.

She's the BEST ! ! 😘 by providing highly personalized experiences that comfort my kids and building a reputation as a caring customer- focused brand. Loved, will go back again for sure.

If you like or even love candy, you definitely need to go there ! You have a ton of candy / chocolate, going through classic, old, or modern. It's super nice to bring your children or even your partner there. You can really unlock some old souvenirs. The people there are nice. The shop is clean! The price is also really good.

Lot of options for candies. kids would love this place and i see lot of candy gift box options.

Went to Dylan’s Candy Bar in the Charlotte airport. Paid 16.83 for these candy bars and they all taste nasty. The chocolate in general was not good so then the rest of the candy bar was not good. So disappointing.

This place is a great candy store! 🍬 Dylan's Candy Bar has an endless collection of sweets 🍭, chocolates 🍫, and desserts 🧁! My favorite are the assorted chocolates by the pound! The place is beautifully decorated 🛋️ and the staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and welcoming! I wish I came here more often!

Amazing variety of sweet treats at Dylan's Candy Bar You can find candy, ice cream, chocolate and many many other confectionery products. The store is very bright and vibrant which makes it super fun for children. The staff are all very helpful and will make your visit enjoyable. There are pick n mix available where you pay by weight too.

Stopped into Dylan's Candy Bar at Hudson Yards after dinner on a visit to the area a little while back. The store and location are beautiful, this is probably the highest end candy store in the country if I had to guess. The place has tons of sweets, as you would suspect! With that being said, we still very much miss the original location on the Upper East Side. Walked by the old storefront today, and the space is sadly still empty. Had my son's 4th birthday party there 7 years ago, lots of great memories. Hopefully, someday, a Dylan's location uptown will re-open again.....

Love bulk candy stores ! There are so many chocolate covered delights here and flavors to choose from. The gift area caught my attention. So many cute items for Birthday gifts. I was greeted so nicely as soon as I walked in - love that special touch.

Dylanscandybar.com They Don't Deserve Your Business Our Christmas order was never sent to our recipients, which meant that many families did not receive a gift from us. Our order was made in November with confirmation that it was received. There was no notification of a fulfillment problem to allow me to find a replacement after that. They just never sent the gifts. In January they finally sent a notification that they were crediting my account for the entire order! There was never an attempt on their part to initiate contact with me. I had to contact them. You deserve so much more. There are so many great candy companies that value their clients. This is not one of them. They don't deserve your business.

Dylan's candy bar has been one of my favorite spots since high school. I love the different chocolate bar varieties. It's great to be able to try the candies from around the world. Plus who does love bright colors.

I was literally like a big kid in a candy store in here! My parents didn't let me eat much candy so now that I'm grown, I can do whatever I want! I had a blast here. They have just about every candy imaginable! Wasn't planning to come in here at all but after walking by, couldn't help it. The employees were very friendly and helpful! Totally worth the visit.

Super overpriced, smells like a donkey's butthole and they play any music with the words "candy" or "sugar" in it so much of the music is sexual and not appropriate for young children.

Okay, so the picture is from the Miami Beach location, but I've been to the NYC location a few times. I've had the most delicious red velvet chocolate bar from Dylan's. My favorite chocolate treat from here. It's flavorful and the chocolate is smooth. I wouldn't even mind if there were some almonds scattered throughout... wishful thinking! I haven't seen sucu an item anywhere else (not to say that it doesn't exist elsewhere). So, kudos and 4 stars for what I consider creativity for the foodie's palate!

Super good candy selection! The staff is mostly nice but the manger yells at her employees. Which as a customer makes me not want to go to the store.

Amazing location! They have basic convenient store candy and special candy like dark chocolate covered gummies. The staff was nice and they give a free bag of candy when you spend $20 if you use a Visa. The candy is very tasty but they're inconsistent with certain inventory. They should bring back cherries berries!

Chocolate covered candies are my weakness which is why I go in and buy for friends! Great selection here and the employees are so friendly. It's hard not to walk in when I walk by which is hard when I'm right down the block!!

Have been to the other Dylan's in midtown and The Hamptons and I was happy to check this one out while we waited to go to The Edge. The store is large and spacious with a lot to offer besides candy - there are cute mugs, pajamas, keychains and other fun items. Since COVID they have their candy bins full but already Individually wrapped which is super convenient. They also carry my favorite - raspberry jelly rings! The staff was super friendly. I couldn't talk to my kids because the music is too loud. I couldn't figure out what to get them because nothing has a price on it. And most of the candy is generic. What a shit show. Go to the M&M store instead.

Dylan's in the Shops at Hudson Yards wasn't on my list of places to go. I accidentally found it searching on the 4th floor. It's very small but very sweet. All my out of town guests will want to visit just like the old location that's closing the end of the month. I wanted to see what they have to offer. My favorite are the M&M's. The employee on duty was very nice. She said they may find space to open another Flagship Location at some time. For now this is the only retail location starting October 1st, 2021. It's tucked away on the 4th floor. Give it a check in.

I am not a big candy eater but my wife is, so we stopped here on our way to The High Line. There is nothing outstanding or unusual here with the big attraction being the self-serve candy per pound. My go to go around to the various containers and fill her bag with the things she liked, such as gummies. etc. The rest of the store was standard fare with an occasional novelty item. I don't get the attraction of success of this place. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this. Instead, go to the lower east side for General Candy and see the amazing choices there.

I love the store but they always employ the meanest cashiers. My cashier for this morning Jaela was very rude, looked miserable, did not greet or thank us after me and my kid said thank you. The greeter was very kind and friendly though

We went right at the end of November 2021 and the guy up front was so so cool! I think he said he'd visited TX before and was originally from MO and such a delight I gave him a pin I was wearing! I was compelled to write a review when I read a survey question that I always thought was "odd" but the "Did you feel the rep made an effort to get to know you or feel a genuine interest in helping?" And this guy was what came to mind. It's a rare treat to have a good service experience with a good purchase! I wish I'd remembered his name

Good thing about having a candy store in a huge mall is a good stop spot as anybody could use sweet treats after a lot of walking. This candy store is so adorable and irresistible not to purchase anything. Selections are great. It sells items more than candies , gum and chocolates category. They have merchandise for sale like T-shirts, cups, books etc. Super clean inside. A must to visit inside Hudson Yards mall. Customer service is topnotch.

This was a great place and an AWESOME experience. I attended the VIP grand opening of Hudson Yards and was drawn into Dylan's when a woman walking through the halls of the mall gave me a jar to fill up with free candy! Does it get better??? Great customer service, super clean and sanitary, had a cool vibe, and a great selection. They are very different from other candy stores. They offer personalized gifts, 3 D printing, chocolates, corporate and party gifts for any occasions. They offer all kinds of apparel such as tee shirts, sleeping bags, jewelry, cups and much more. They ship to more than 100 countries in as little as 4 days. It was fun and is great for kids from 1 to 100. I recommend you visit them.

The Mango Belts candy (mango sour) not edible as it tastes like plastic - I tried it again, and verified that it does taste like plasctic before we dump it. Please note: this review doesn't represent the reviews for all/majority of the candies they sell in the store as we have only purchased one (1) pack of candy. Cute little Dylan's candy bar in the middle of Hudson yards mall , great for anyone's sweet tooth while shopping I came here twice each time I stopped by I got a Dylan's candy bar one milk chocolate with potato chips and second time got dark chocolate with cookie dough . I love the different fillings . My boyfriend even had one filled with pop rocks ! They are yummy and creative and hit the spot Staff are wearing masks and gloves and limiting capacity by monitoring the entrance . The candy once sold by the pound is all portioned off and priced so no one can touch candy Deff a place I always check out when I'm shopping there

Cool candy store in Hudson Yards. As soon as you walk in, the wonderful candy aroma surrounds you and fills your head with sweet childhood memories! Everything is bright and colorful, decorated just so to make all its customers smile. Dylan's employees are happy and bubbly, asking every so often if you need assistance or if you'd like to taste any candies (yum!). The music is upbeat with lyrics about candy or sweets, which is pretty clever. This place is a nice treat on just about any day: warm, cool, wet, dry. You'll find it on the fourth floor of Hudson Yard.

Showed up at 30 Hudson location early and saw the lights off with doors open. Crates from delivery on the showroom floor. We waited till ten and store still had the lights off (opens at 10). I went in and found employees asleep in the back and woke them up while asking if they were open. My family, along with other customers, were turned away for at least another hour due to "late" delivery. Horrible personnel and customer service. Dylans was better years ago when they still cared. Go to Macy's or FAO for a much better candy experience. This occurred on July 17, 2023

Some cute stuff here. Just didn't see what differentiates it from any other candy store. There are cute glass jars and containers that signify that they're from New York and have names printed on them. There are a bunch of candy bars with lots of flavors ... potato chip, chocolate toffee, bacon? There are the familiar bins which are filled to the brim with gummy candies and chocolates, and small wrapped candies like Starbursts. The staff was friendly and helpful. I suspect children would love this place like any other candy shop with it's bright colors and smell of sugar in the air. Probably won't be back, but 10 minutes in any candy store is never a bad experience.

Worst customer service that I've experienced in NY so far. Bought some prepackaged chocolate bars and they were 4 for $12. When I went to the register to pay, the associate was on her phone watching videos and didn't seem to be in a hurry to ring up the transaction. I bought multiple candy bars and asked if I had a total of 16 bars. The associate said "I don't know, I didn't count. Do you want me to count it" with a bad attitude. Trash was also visible on the store floor and blocked access to the marshmallow treats section

They have a special area that shows candy that is stupid to people with Pacific dietary restrictions. See photo. This place is a step above most candy shops

This place is overpriced and never has candy's stocked in the correct places. My husband accidentally bought something for me that I can't eat for Valentine's Day because it was labeled incorrectly. He spoke directly with the owner to try to exchange and was told he wouldn't be allowed to even though the bag was still completely sealed. He had previously got fudge from there but it is over rated and over priced. I would never recommend this. The only people who like this candy shop are either tourists or buying it for someone else. This place is trash.

I love candy therefore of course it is natural for me to be a big kid and stop by Dylan's Candy Bar. Due to covid, all the candy are packaged. You can also order ice cream and milkshakes from this store which is pretty cool. This store has a very friendly vibe so definitely check it out if you are nearby.

They hide the candy bags in the back so customers are forced to buy a fillable

I ordered a Vintage Gumball Machine for my neighbor who recently turned 5 (we love him - he's a sweetie). The gumball machine is partially made of glass and unfortunately was broken when my sweet little neighbor received it (almost assuredly occurred in transit). I emailed DCB customer service, and within an hour they sent me an order confirmation for a new gumball machine with overnight shipping. ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED with the customer service, and will most definitely purchase from them again.

The candy's are all prepackaged. They also have other stuff they sell like a beach towel, bags, and mugs.

The Dylan's at Hudson Yards is a disappointment and a major come down from their original Manhattan showcase. Its a small store, with little in the way of joy or variety. When we went they had mostly empty bins where candy by the pound would be, five days before easter. It honestly felt like they were going out of business. Don't make a special trip.

I recently bought one of their retro candy buckets for my grandma who is currently in the hospital with covid. I paid extra for two day shipping. Without any notification from Dylan's, i found out it's going to take over a week for her to get her birthday gift. I wrote to Dylan's asking for a refund or a credit for the extra shipping. Their customer service wrote back saying "we can't guarantee gifts by a certain date." I get that but I paid extra for 2 day shipping and now it's taking three times that time frame? Poor customer service and way overpriced to be honest. It's candy buy it from anywhere else.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at Dylan's Candy Bar today, after waiting 20 minutes to be served by the only customer service employee, we were told they weren't doing milkshakes or ice creams today. Surely there could have been a sign up for those waiting in line to let them know there was no point? Really disappointing for our kids who were excited to try the shakes too!

Fun candy store! Cool variety of candy I remember from my childhood, along with bunches of everyday favorites. With Covid, you have to buy it prepackaged now, which is a shame. Mixing and matching my own blend in these types of stores is the main attraction. There are some fun flavors of Dylans own chocolate bars. The location is nice, but not central for site seeing. Hudson yards is a really nice mall, but had to go out of our way to get here.

Not what it used to be. Always loved original Dylan's Store. The team in this store sucks. They close the store early so the employees can leave dead on closing time. Don't know who owns the brand any more but management is an embarrassment to the Lauren Family.

SUCKS , got there 11:10 a.m , doors open music blasting NO EMPLOYEEEEEEES!!!! Went there for specific items and had no one to help me . And NO WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO LOOK FOR EMPLOYEES THAT SHOULD BE ON THE SALES FLOOR READY AND WILLING TO WORK. When I worked for this company they were so strict idk what happened what a waste of my time . Spent 16 minutes waiting for someone to atleast come out . However security in the mall were very pleasant . And the they just opened excuse doesnt work for me sorry from you open the door get on the sales floor PERIOD .

My family loved this place. Theres more than enough to choose from and multiple options to choose from for gifts. There was a line but it moved at a good pace.

I live on the West Coast and wanted to cheer up a friend working nearby. The team at Dylan's was incredibly helpful and delivered! My friend was very happy and I loves the customer experience.

No wonder they marked all the chocolate on sale because it's almost ONE YEAR EXPIRED. I just opened one of the boxes i got and it tasted awful. I looked on the package and surely enough it expired December 2019. Awful, disgusting. Don't sell expired chocolate.

What do you do when you can't find a item your client wants 2 weeks before Christmas? Panic. Fortunately for me that item was from Dylan's and Tatiana was a dream! Thank you so much for your hard work and making it such a pleasant experience!

We just visited Dylan's candy bar and had a wonderful experience! Sarah helped my daughter hand pick each and every piece of candy for her paint can. We bought a cute sucker ornament for our Christmas tree that will remind us of our amazing trip to NYC! Thank you Sarah and Harold for making our trip memorable!!!!

Worst experience worst follow up with customer service. With my toddler's birthday approaching I will never source from ANY DYLANS ever. Being that my kiddo is only turning 2 and he is a halloween baby we could have spent tons of money here. But this location treated us unkindly and the correspondence with customer service yielded nothing but a runaround without so much as an apology. save your energy and go elsewhere especially if you have a younger kid with you. so sad since I loved Dylans growing up.

From the moment i walked into the shop, until the second i stepped out, the customer service was amazing. Associate Valerie was really helpful and she made sure i had a good experience while shopping. I will definitely be visiting again soon !

Such a great first time experience here! The manager Kevin and Val were so helpful And accommodating, this is how costumer service should be ! Excellent hands down!

Literally one of the worst experiences of my life. I love how the first few pictures you see are of smiling children on these reviews because the manager Jared is the least friendly person and completely oblivious to what it means to be in customer service with children. I walked in with my almost two year old and we were approached by a nice young African American female who asked if we needed any help. I only regret not getting her name because she was great. I just wanted my son to have a fun experience and something to nosh on while I shopped the rest of the mall. We were blissfully filling up his bag when as a TODDLER will do he reached his hand into one of the jars of some gumball looking candy. I had already told him several times that we use the scoops, and here comes the manager running up behind me and my toddler, saying "oh no you can't do that" to which I responded " sir he is a toddler, I have already told him that but he's 2" the manager goes into the back and comes back to sweep up the few candies my son dropped on the floor while eyeing us rudely the whole time and huffing. He then puts the broom away and comes back to rip the entire jar of candy out that my son had touched as if he had spit in it or something. Now I am not saying he was wrong for removing it but there is a way to do this without offending a client. He then proceeded to eye us the rest of the time we were there like I was going to steal the store. We paid and I made sure to get his name and send an email to cooperate. They have yet to respond. Jared made this awful. I am sure he was a child once but he should not work in a place that is marketed for children.
