"Long celebrated locally, the Dynasty Room won an Eater Award for best bar in 2018, though despite that acclaim it only has a few more months to go before it ends its own short run." - Gabe Guarente
"Tucked into the backroom lounge of the iconic Four Seas Restaurant, Dynasty Room is a semi-permanent bar that was opened in April 2018 as a temporary spot by I-Miun Liu (who also runs Oasis Tea Zone, Eastern Cafe, and East Trading Company) and even won Eater Seattle’s 2018 Bar of the Year. With Four Seas’ demolition pushed back, Dynasty Room will stay open until February instead of closing at the end of this month, though starting in August it will cut back hours to Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until it closes for good. The menu centers on shareable, late-night snacks — deep-fried chicken wings with spicy orange sauce; marinated or fried chicken gizzards and hearts; kalbi short ribs; and dok boki (Korean rice and fish cakes in a spicy red sauce) — all meant to be washed down with cocktails, soju, and makgeolli." - Megan Hill
"Located in the old Four Seas lounge, Dynasty Room is a semi-permanent bar that won Eater Seattle’s 2018 Bar of the Year; it is set to close by the end of July so the building can be torn down." - Megan Hill
"You might think you’re in the wrong place when you enter Dynasty Room. The front room is entirely empty, (aside from a cardboard wolf and a busted-up display case) and the sign of the restaurant that was there before it is still up. Maybe you’ll even see a tumbleweed blow by. But once you round the corner, you’ll be hit by a sound wave of happy people drinking cocktails and eating spicy popcorn chicken. If you just had an awesome dinner with friends in the International District and don’t feel like going home to water your fern, extend the good time by having a few rounds here." - Aimee Rizzo
"Liu and Chu recently partnered on the impressive Dynasty Room, an Electric Coffin–designed bar in the Chinatown–International District that pays homage to the back bar at the shuttered Four Seas; like East Trading Co., Dynasty Room incorporates plenty of herbs, teas, and other Chinese influences into its drinks." - Megan Hill
