EA Cafe

We ordered the unagi bowl and beef teriyaki bowl and thoroughly enjoyed both. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable (about $18 each), especially considering the location near Oracle Park. The only downside is that they only offer takeout, but the food was delicious. For dessert, we shared a small cookie-n-cream ice cream, which was the perfect size for two and very tasty. We’re looking forward to coming back soon to try their poke bowls.

Tiny mom and pop shop with generous portion sizes. Had the beef teriyaki bowl and the broccoli and other veggies were very fresh. Good for an on-the-go option!

The ice cream is good and the location is great if you also visited the park nearby. The place is small but has a really nice vibe.

It's easy to miss from the street, but it's a pleasant, well-decorated space as soon as you walk in, and you'll be welcomed enthusiastically and genuinely! They've also got a great assortment of canned and bottled beverages beyond their own offerings (:

They sell amazing poke bowls to taste. After eating one you're already planning your next return, which has been the same day for me. I ordered thesame thing, 6 hours apart, yet the bowls were soooo different. The second bowl was lacking ingredients and overall disappointing compared to the phenomenal bowl they made earlier. If the first one wasn't so good I wouldn't be so disappointed with the second one. I really do recommend them. I just would not eat there twice in same day so you don't ruin it for yourself like I did. Picture is the first bowl they made. I didn't bother taking a picture of the second because it doesn't do them justice.

Just reopened. Very polite and very good poké. I got a mango and pineapple slushy the other day. Today I got poké, boba, and soft serve. Can't wait to get a chocolate croissant tomorrow. Just go and you'll understand why I go here almost every day, even the person in line behind me said "this is my new favorite place" when looking at the various stuff this store had to offer.

It’s really good. But it’s not The best soft serve you’ll ever have. It’s definitely really good, because the place looks like a hole in the wall. It really doesn’t look like it should be all that good. But I tried to cookies and cream soft serve, and it was really tasty. But it wasn’t fully consistent. The top is really yummy with lots of cookie crumble, but I have to eat through that it’s about half of it is just soft serve no extra goodies. So definitely better than it looks on the outside.

Small but cute. The batista made by far the best tasting Green Tea Latte I have ever had. Mind you not a sit down place, but great for pick up! The food looks delicious.

Solid option for poke near Oracle Park. They also have some very aesthetic soft serve desserts and lots of drinks and baked goods for breakfast. I enjoyed my poke bowl with all the fixings--you order by circling the toppings and base and protein you want with a dry-erase pen. Love the customization. Service is very good, especially given it's the same man and woman handling orders and preparing food! I love the interior decor and plants, very cute. Not much seating inside which is fine because so many people in the area will take their food to-go to nearby offices or the Giants game!

The menu at EA Cafe, a storefront close to Oracle Park, caught my eye while passing by en route to a Giants game. When the ballpark first opened their food offerings were highly touted but all these years later I find not much there that thrills. All the more reason to bring in food from the outside, which is where EA Cafe came in. Two of us ordered a Sukiyaki Rice Bowl ($17.95) and a Bento Box ($15.95) and were surprised to realize that these dishes seemed somewhat made to order; that is, this wasn't the fastest of food. The wait time (approximately 10 minutes) wasn't a problem but rather, just somewhat unexpected. The boxes that housed the food were heavy and when opening them inside the park it was easy to see why: these things held a ton of food. The Bento Box in particular offers your choice of two items (in addition to salad and rice) and the Spam Musubi (one of the selections) was monstrous in size. The Beef Sukiyaki was a decent, somewhat fast-food version of the dish which benefited from a handful of pickled vegetables that topped it as well as a heaping mound of steamed broccoli. In all, this was a lot of food (tho' somewhat salty) and it proved satisfying and very filling. EA Cafe also sells boba dinks, desserts, and Korean soft serve, the latter being free with yelp check-in and a purchase of more than $15. The soft serve is creamy and delicious. EA Cafe is serving up food that's as good as - possibly better than - much of the fare available for purchase inside Oracle Park. It's definitely worth stopping in to see if anything on the menu holds appeal (they also have poke bowls) as a purchase here ensures you can focus on the game rather than the lines at each concession.

I came to order a poke bowl for lunch to-go. Service was nice but a little slow, and this cafe is for take-out only (no places to eat inside). I made a custom poke bowl, and it was quite pricy; while the flavors were pretty good, I only got a few tiny cubes of fish which was super disappointing. Even if something isn't up to my standards, I usually won't say something, but I remember sitting down for lunch and opening this poke bowl feeling really sad lol

I got a poke bowl here and it was so good! Plenty of fish and super fresh. Great flavor of the ponzu sauce. Construction workers were mainly there getting their lunch. It's a to go place, they also have a case of desserts that looks good. The man taking orders was very nice. If you want a bowl you use the dry erase marker and mark what you want on the menu and then they give that to the cool in the back. Very efficient. The place doesn't look like much but the food quality is excellent.

I had a tasty poke bowl from here, but the portion of fish was really small for $17. Spicy tuna was actually spicy. I really like that they have a dry erase menu card for you to fill out to build your custom poke bowl!

Such creamy, milky, and fragrant soft serve that I always crave when I'm near Oracle Park! I love the honey comb one since the honey brings so much sweet fragrance to the ice cream. You can taste the high quality of the milk they use as well. They also have some food and small bites, but I usually just go for the ice cream! There are no tables or anything so it's not a great place to hang out, but my friends and I just brought it over to the pier area behind Oracle Park and it was really nice!

A good place to grab some delicious drinks by Oracle Park. It has a variety of desserts and snacks available. It's small inside but has a lot to offer.

We were actually surprised at the quality of the Unagi rice bowl here. The unagi was freshly cooked right at the time of order. The price is reasonable for this neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this place for some quick and tasty Japanese unagi bowl in the area.

The soft serve ice cream at EA Cafe is TOP NOTCH! We have tried the following: - strawberry: chunky syrupy strawberry - cookie and cream: crushed Oreo - dirty caramel: salted caramel with boba My favs are the cookies and cream then strawberry. The ice cream is silky smooth and the flavors are perfect. This is our go-to dessert place. I hear their hot entrees are equally good and great value...

Must try: their soft serve Why? There are plenty of ice cream shops in the city but it's rare to find really unique soft serve. Totally recommend. Consider: their ice cream has higher milk fat than normal, extra rich!

Stopped in to satisfy an ice cream craving and EA Cafe did not disappoint! It's a very small shop, but they have lots of options for food, drinks, and desserts. I ordered a small Strawberry ice cream and asked for some Oreo crumbles on top. It was so creamy and I love that they put fresh strawberries and chocolate wafers on top. Like other reviewers said, the ice cream does melt a bit fast, which isn't my preference, but that wouldn't stop me from getting it again. Will have to come back to try other flavors!

I am so happy that there's a Poke Bowl location that opened near the ballpark! I know many businesses here have come & gone over the 20+ years since the Giants' ballpark has opened, but I do hope this place will stay for many years! They first opened here back at the end of 2019, and had to survive throughout the pandemic. The 1st time I tried this place out was in April of 2021 and I have been coming here ever since whenever the SF Giants are in town! They only do take-out, as there is no dine-in here. Although I always take my food to-go anyway and bring it into the ballpark! As of April 2022 their 2-scoops of protein is still only $12.95 and their 3-scoops of protein is. $14.95, which is a great price for a Poke Bowl in San Francisco. Their quantity is a nice sized bowl and the quality is really good too! I also ordered their Milk Cow ice cream and milk shakes before too, and it was absolutely delicious! I will always come here whenever the Giants are playing a home game.

Soft serve, yes. Poke, no. EA Cafe is a small shop with a large menu. There's no room to dine in; they do takeout only. The menu has a wide assortment of tea, espresso, slushies, milkshakes, soft serve ice cream, poke bowls, and rice bowls. Behind the counter are more desserts and bottled drinks. The amount of variety here is quite impressive. The wife and I were in the mood for poke and we each got a large (3 scoops of proteins). One thing that's different about this place is that for poke, you hand them your order written on a dry-erase sheet and they prepare it in the back, out of sight. I chalked that up to the cafe having such a small space to operate in. Unfortunately, that meant that we only noticed afterwards that the protein portion sizes were a bit small. Worse, the raw fish didn't taste too fresh and had a slight fishy smell. The toppings were decent, but the spicy poke sauce that the wife opted for was lacking in flavor. I hate to say this, but this poke really missed the mark. We also got a cup of regular soft serve, free courtesy of EA's Yelp check-in offer. This soft serve was really good! It's a famed Korean brand called Milkcow, made with premium ingredients. You definitely taste the difference. One thing that bothered me was that the price of the large poke ($13.95) was clearly displayed on the LCD menu behind the counter, but the lady working here charged us $1 more than the listed price (we didn't get any of the premium options). I didn't want to make a big deal of it since being in the restaurant business is hard and inflation is driving everything up, but this just felt like a bait-and-switch. EA Cafe is close to Oracle Park and is next-door to the Hyatt Place where we were staying, making it a really convenient choice. I hope that our experience was an isolated one, but it really killed our desire to go back, even though the soft serve was so darn good.

Saw online that they had milkcow soft serve and didn't want to drive to south bay so I thought I would give this place a try. This place was so scrambled...there was one lady working doing everything and a helper but he just sat there and ate his lunch. Was not acknowledged when I showed up and just stood there waiting until all orders were prepared. Thought about leaving but at that point I had stood there for so long that I wanted to make it worth something. Saw them spill the blender, drop mixing lids on the floor, and send delivery drivers back because they were all out of food. The milkcow soft serve tasted different than the ones I've had before and did not have their signature strong milk flavor/tasted diluted. They are also not very generous with the oreo crumbles but the lady did give me more when I asked. The poke is not the best poke I've had but not the worst. They cut the fish up so small it kind of melts in your mouth when you bite so it was hard tasting any salmon flavor. The other toppings like the cucumber, corn, and edamame tasted fresh though so that really saved the dish. Maybe was just a bad day but I really didn't have the best experience but I can still see myself coming here to grab something quick if I am in the area. The prices were also very affordable (regular poke bowl was $12.95) so I guess I can't complain too much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

EA Cafe is a tiny shop with a small table inside located near the ball park. I've visited here a couple of times and have only tried their soft serve ice cream. They also offer coffee, tea, milk shakes, slushies, some pastries, poke bowls and rice bowls. They only have vanilla soft serve and then your choice of toppings. On my last visit I ordered the milky cube. Vanilla with honey and a piece of honeycomb. It was sweet. I thought the honeycomb was not necessary. There was already honey at the bottom of the cup plus more drizzled on top. Glad I got a small and not a large this time. Eat fast cuz it melts fast.

A tiny hole in the wall next to Oracle Park! They sell a little bit of everything - food, dessert, drinks. If you check in, they have a free small cup of their milk frozen yogurt. It is delicious and we definitely want to come back next time to try the desserts. Their poke bowl was good! Just know that for the affordable price, you are not getting as much poke as other places may provide. If you're hungry, definitely get a large!

It was a beautiful Friday night and me and my wife and dog decided to take advantage of the weather and go on a long walk out from Dogpatch all past Oracle Park. To justly reward ourselves, we decided to treat ourselves to some dessert after getting to the ballpark. We looked up the nearest dessert spot and found EA Cafe and their delicious pop-up of Milkcow within the cafe. This review will specifically be about Milkcow and not the other items in the place! When we got to EA Cafe, there was one cashier/barista staffing the place (hats off to her!) and she was SO kind to our pup and gave him two dog treats. He was over the moon about it. Out of all the different Milkcow soft serve combos, we decided to go with a tried and true Milky Cube large soft serve. The cashier made it within a few minutes and even asked if we needed two spoons and we were in and out in a jiffy. Overall, we would definitely recommend stopping by EA Cafe if you're in the area for a quick dessert from the Milkcow portion - we had a great experience! Milky Cube - 4.5/5 it was sooooo good. Milk Cow soft-serve is on another level in terms of texture, flavor, and balance. The only thing I'd note was that the soft-serve melted more quickly than I expected. The large we ordered as the portion size was way more than enough for one person and the honeycomb was a perfect touch in mixing with the soft serve. Would recommend!

Poke bowls and ice cream. It's really easy to order with their laminated menus. Just mark whatever you want in your poke bowl and they'll prep it in the back and you'll be out in no time. The sushi rice is always nicely seasoned unlike the sushi rice at Gus's Market. The ice cream is also really interesting but it does melt really quick. The guy ringing me up today was super friendly and he seemed to be having a fun time serving customers. Great business around the ballpark.

I've been here a few times to pickup a poke bowl to bring to a giants game. I get mine custom and like to load up on toppings and the poke bowl always hits the spot! They kind of skimp on the toppings sometime, but the food there makes for a great to-go simple delicious meal!

Good little poke shop. On the pricier end for the poke I ordered but it was fresh and tasty. They have a few solid menu items plus your choice of creating your own poke.

Yummy spot for soft serve ice cream! My coworkers and I were going on a afternoon stroll and found this place for a mid-day treat. I opted for the Green Light in a small size and was pleasantly surprised! I was reading the reviews and saw so much about Milkcow soft serve, and I can definitely confirm that it's fantastic. It's extremely soft and creamy without being too sweet. The matcha powder and almonds also added a nice touch to the ice cream. It was $5.50 for the small. The menu was incorrect when I went as it was listed as $5.25. They also serve other things like boba drinks, slushies, pastries, and poké, but I didn't try any of that this time. Definitely a nice treat if you're in the mood for dessert!

This spot popped up on my Ritual app as I browsed for new places to try near my office. EA Cafe is not only a cafe that serves hot & cold beverages of all kinds, they also have a small menu featuring Poke Bowls! I opted for the Tofu Bowl. All their bowls are super customizable from the base to the proteins and toppings. I opted for Sushi rice, tofu, wakame salad, and all the veggies I could get! The man working the counter is super nice and juggled taking orders, making drinks, and checking on food being made in the back. He handed me probably the heaviest rice bowl I've ever ordered in San Francisco. Seriously, this is a great value! Overall, I enjoyed my bowl and it definitely filled me up, but they didn't put enough sauce on top. It was just a drizzle, so it didn't make it to the rice, so once I ate the very top layer of rice, it was pretty bland and lacking flavor. They need to go a little more heavy-handed with the sauce! I added soy sauce and sriracha on my own to give it some sauce and flavor. Located in a bustling area full of hungry office workers, this is a good start for this little cafe with a lot of potential!

This cafe is just one storefront on an assuming street. To be honest, it did not look inviting from the outside, nor did the inside strike me as a place that really took pride in its appearance or wanted to be featured on any blogs. But maybe that's because of how no-nonsense and hands down solid this place is. They have a huge menu. All sorts of Asian food, including poke, dons, sushi, and bento boxes. I got the bento box and paid only about $13 for a two-option lunch. It came with some great salad that they make on the spot (asked me if I needed any customizations), and I chose the teriyaki chicken (solid sauce to chicken ratio, though heavy on the rice), and a California roll (which was actually much better than many other CA rolls I've had at fancier establishments).

Just passing by awaiting my bus back to orange county and i decided to try the EA Cafe "milk cube". Soft serve ice cream with honey and a cube of real honeycomb on top....ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! And a very sweet/ friendly girl serving me, thank you!!

If you're in SF, this place is a MUST GO. They have milk cow soft serve with ingredients imported directly from Korea. They use a unique Korean milk in their soft serve which makes it extra creamy . : - affogato (soft serve with espresso shot on top) - green light (soft serve with matcha powder and almond) - milky cube w/added matcha powder (honeycomb and honey) -salmon and tuna poke rice bowl : This cafe has a nice variety: poke, rice bowls, soft serve, coffee, and tea. The interior is nice and clean, and the lady helping us was super kind and helpful. The poke bowl was delicious; the fish was fresh and toppings elevated the dish. The main star of the show though is THE MILK COW ICE CREAM. Holy moly it is so creamy, rich, and milky; I really liked it because it was not too sweet as it was more in creamier side. My favorite flavor was the affogato (if you like coffee, this is for you) and green light. the green light was sooo good. The matcha added nice flavor and the almonds were a perfect touch. I wish this was closer to my school .

Had the poké and wanted to try the ice cream but we didn't have a chance to come back for that. The fish in the poké was very fresh and the corn was actually very good and sweet (unlike the ones that I usually get on the east coast). There was a lot more rice than toppings though, but it was still very good.

Some of the best soft serve! Really hit the spot for some late night dessert. Too bad they close kind of early.

I enjoyed my experience here! They have a fairly standard cafe menu. One of the more unique offerings is Milkcow Ice Cream. They have the basic vanilla flavor and then several specialty "sundaes" that can include chocolate, fruit or boba. I had their specialty, which included boba and honey. I really enjoyed this! While I typically find soft serve a disappointing version of ice cream, this was great! Their soft serve is very rich and creamy...excellent texture. It also has the perfect amount of sweetness. The boba and honey added that extra bit of sweetness to make it fun. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something interesting and unique.

EA is a nice little cafe near the Oracle Stadium that sells drinks and other food/snack items. My order was the Black Milk Tea with Boba. I thought the drink was sweet and creamy, but I prefer it to have more of a tea flavor coming through. The boba had a good soft, chewy texture with a very present honey flavor (if you like honey boba this is for you). The cost was approx $5 for a medium cup (no small). Personally it was just average but definitely good if you're craving boba around the area; will have to come back to try the food items!

Great prices for the portion size! Although it's still not a ton of fish. Ordered two of their standard poke bowls, the spicy salmon and the combo one, and both were pretty tasty! I'll be back to try the ice cream because it looked super yum. Service was pretty fast and the folks behind the counter were very courteous.

While I thought my spicy poke sauce on my bowl was delicious and the portion of the ingredients was very generous, you could barely see any tuna and salmon (my two choices) I ordered a Thai iced tea. It had boba balls. Ugh No where did it say it has boba and I can't stand boba and we had to strain it The won ton noodle soup was very bland The gyoza is okay but the dipping sauce tastes like vinegar The tiramisu cake was average at best. , Very busy. Very nice people work here.

Tasty tasty tasty! Super flavorful, fresh with crunchy veggies. The staff was very kind with fast service. Their baked goods looked yummy and my Milk Tea was perfect.

5 stars for what is possibly the second- best soft serve in the city (the best is Twirl-n-Dip, an organic soft-serve truck in Golden Gate Park). EA serves MilkCow, which is a Korean soft-serve brand with super milk-like flavor and nicely creamy without the strange aftertaste a lot of soft-serve ice cream can have. The strawberry soft-serve is prolly the best, with fresh strawberries on the bottom and the top, and a strawberry syrup running through the swirl. Go just for that, though (that's why 4-star rating). I tried the Japanese cheesecake and was disappointed. It tasted closer to American cheesecake in flavor profile and consistency (wasn't wiggly jiggly at all, was quite dense and not light). Unlike American cheesecake, though, it smelled too eggy for me. Also didn't taste too fresh. But small biz, and female-run, so support by going for the soft-serve if not too far for you (I used to go all the way to the Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno for MilkCow!).

Went to this after a giants game. Nice hole in the wall place. They have a lot of options to choose from but we just went for ice cream. We got the affogato. It was delicious ice cream is very smooth and soft the affogato was really good. Not sure how the other items are but they look good to.

One of my favourites! I love the milk tea and variety of boba/jelly flavours available, and the chicken teriyaki is always delicious. Easy to order ahead and quick preparation times when you order inside as well!

Dropped by to grab some poke bowls before going to the Giants game and was not disappointed! It's such a good price and value considering where the cafe is located. They have signature bowls but we opted to do the custom bowls so we can choose our own toppings just the way we like it. The regular size was more than enough for one person to enjoy for lunch. I love that you can mark it down yourself when creating your own poke bowl so I can take the time I need to decide on what I want. The salmon protein was so fresh and went well with all the toppings I chose. It was a filling and affordable meal to take to the ball game. We had no problem bringing it inside the ballpark! Definitely a cheaper option than buying inside Oracle Park.

Go to spot for lunch. My coworkers and I always get the Teriyaki chicken bowl. The salad is amazing as well. The ice cream is very smooth. Their boba milk tea is some of the best.

I came to this small spot right after work for boba and omg this place is bomb !!! The young lady who helped me was sooooo sweet and kind ! I will be returning back here . She made my Green Tea Latte wayyyyyy better than any place I have been too around here . This is the place you want to be at .

The ice cream is so so so good! So fresh, milky and creamy! You literally watch them pour milk in and out comes the ice cream!

The quality of the soft serve was so good! I got a small affogato and my boyfriend got a large strawberry. Would go back again!

I came here because I was craving something sweet and had heard that the soft serve here was good. I got the boba soft serve, which was basically just their normal soft serve with (chocolate?) syrup and what seemed like brown sugar boba on top. It was delicious, but my only gripe with this is that this melted soooo fast, as in literally before I left the door of the place it was melting, so I'd recommend eating this ASAP if you can!

I love the crab combo bowl! Definitely hits the spot everytime! The individuals working there are the sweetest too! Oh and definitely don't sleep on the vanilla soft serve with the honey comb piece on top!!!

Ordered from Uber Eats. Got their Unagi rice bowl and spicy salmon poke rice bowl. They're both okay. Nothing special. The only saviour is the Milkcow ice cream. They're so milky. So, probably wouldn't order their food anymore. Just the amazing soft serve.

I can't really explain it but the chicken teriyaki bowl seriously hit the spot on the walk to my first Giant's game.

My wife and I eat here all the time! We've their poki bowls and also their soft serve ice cream is soooo good. We get the matcha sundae and it has toasted almond slivers and matcha on it and it's so so good. It's constantly one of our favorite spots in the city!

Great food, amazing soft serve ice cream and boba milk tea and awesome staff! The poke bowls, sukiyaki beef bowl and shrimp wonton soup are all great option. And the soft serve is just terrific. Enni is always super nice and friendly.
