Simple, rustic eatery with a drive-thru offering a typical range of BBQ meats & homestyle sides.
"Another sibling restaurant to Firewood BBQ, specializing in American barbecue." - Lisa Shames
"In case your BBQ feast involves, say, just you and your goldfish, consider hitting the drive-thru at Earls. This BBQ spot in Jefferson Park has a menu full of platters that are perfect for one person. Get the ribs, which have a crispy bark that kind of reminds us of bacon. You’ll probably want to order the mac and cheese, Texas toast, and charred corn too. Also worth noting? Earls also sells fluffy made-to-order donuts all day long, which your goldfish definitely wants you to have." - adrian kane, john ringor
"This Jefferson Park spot lures fans with items like a brisket burrito and pulled pork poutine, for breakfast. Other favorites include smoked salmon, rib tips, and smoked Polish sausage. Earl’s is equipped with a handy drive-thru, ideal for social distancing, and has a handful of picnic tables for outdoor dining. Sister restaurants, Ella’s BBQ in Lincoln Park and TK in Wicker Park, are also open." - Ashok Selvam, Eater Staff
"In case your game day plans involve a small get together of, say, just you and your goldfish, consider hitting the drive thru at Earls. This BBQ spot in Jefferson Park has a menu full of $15 BBQ platters that are perfect for one person. "Earl’s in Jefferson Park is wonderful. For one thing, this restaurant has a drive-through (very convenient these days) and they serve made-to-order donuts. More importantly, they make fantastic BBQ. The ribs are topped with your choice of sauce (Carolina, Georgia, Chicago hot, or original), and their sides (like the mac and cheese and cornbread) are delicious. But we repeat: fresh donuts." - adrian kane
