Eat Beirut - Review - Fulham - London - The Infatuation

"Spot this Lebanese restaurant on New Kings Road from across the street and it’ll be the one that stands out—despite its lively surroundings. That’s because a warm orange glow and the smell of lamb kofta spills out the open door. On Fridays, groups fill the cushioned booths, dipping into moutabal and diving into platters piled with a kilo of grilled prawns which have been ordered in advance. It’s not the best Lebanese food in London, but the tender, well-seasoned shish taouk is worth ordering and a mix of the mezze to share makes for a great light lunch. Despite the fact that the food won’t blow you away, the intimate booths that make you forget that there are other people in the restaurant and the friendly neighbourhood feel are worth coming for if you're in the area." - Rianne Shlebak

My borborygmi was distinctly audible in anticipation for this veritable smorgasbord of culinary excellence, is my take on last nights meal. With a little help from my pocket thesaurus of course, I keep it in my shirt pocket with my mobile telephone and blister plasters.

Very delicious Lebanese cooking. The environment is bright, cozy and comfortable. Friendly staff. The food is good. The mixed grill is tasty and succulent. I like the lamb sausage and garlic potatoes. Other dishes are great. Please forgive me. I share photos as I cannot remember their Lebanese names.

We came for lunch to discover Eat Beirut, and we were treated to a very tasty assortment of freshly made Lebanese dishes. The food was delicious and the lady serving us was very kind and welcoming. We even got a baklava for dessert offered by the house. We will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant Eat Beirut is just fantastic ! My husband and son went to get takeaway for the whole family tonight, and our feeling is just incredible. The food was delicious, and the staff very friendly. The young lady who was there that evening was very kind to them and able to answer all their questions. A special mention also to the chef who, learning from this lovely person that we were Lebanese and wanted a family meal that evening, spoiled us with little gifts and attentions, a big thank you to both of you. I highly recommend this restaurant, go there with your eyes closed !
