Eat love Eat.
EAT, is a cozy breakfast/lunch cafe in absolute heart of North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District.
It sits in the middle of Magnolia Blvd between Lankershim Blvd and Vineland Avenue, next to the light at Blakeslee Ave. Parking is one of the biggest struggle, because it's street only (mainly metered), some paid lots and garages in the area as well.
They have a great patio overlooking as well as on Magnolia, that is also dog friendly. The inside is fairly intimate with deep dark wooden tables and chairs, fixtures, art and subtle warm decor.
Gender neutral restrooms and wheelchair accessibility are huge wins.
No Wi-Fi, reservations or straight-forward vegan options being the very few losses.
I do love that they keep the flow moving and the service sensational. I usually don't get much here because they have limited options for me, but plenty for you and most everyday breakfast goers.
For eats I stick to fresh fruit (bowl or cup), potatoes (especially the potatoes w/ peppers & onions aka home fries), veggie sausage, various sides and toast (no butter).
More than appreciate EAT's Avocado Toast (hold the sunny side up egg for me), but absolutely keep the watermelon radish, pickled onions, herb salad and sesame seeds please. Same goes for the veggie wrap (I just omit mayo and Swiss cheese).
Lots of good beverages here like their orange juice, apple juice, grapefruit juice, kompot, tomato juice, coffees, sodes, teas, waters and lemonades.
Yes, they do Arnold Palmers :)
From pancakes, waffles, omelettes and other breakfast/brunch time favs to burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and wraps. You've got a full range of options from 8am to 3pm Monday through Fridays and until 4pm on weekends (Saturday, Sunday).
I don't expect them to incorporate any traditional direct vegan options as I've been coming here for over 10 years, but always ask for suggestions in hopes one day they might have a small menu or easy assortment.
Planning to brunch here soon with pics :)
Come out to and eat at EAT.
