"Eat My Biscuits is a brunch restaurant in East Point that stands out more for its cute peach decor than its food. The trendy space, featuring peach leather booths with splashes of maroon, gold, and pink, feels like a Barbie Dreamhouse. As for the food, the waffles are chewy, and the hot honey chicken biscuit is oversauced—think Titanic DiCaprio clinging to the door in an ocean of spicy honey glaze. And for a spot that hypes you to "eat my biscuits," expect them to lean toward dry, crumbly, and herby, instead of buttermilky and moist. But if your brunch mood is more focused on cocktails than bites, it's worth popping in for their creamy, caramel-infused Cinnamon Toast Crunch vodka drink to go along with their soft-in-the-middle beignet-like fried biscuits (order them with honey to up the sweetness). photo credit: Jacinta Howard" - Jacinta Howard

Food: 4/5 ✨ - The hot Honey chicken biscuit was good, but the presentation could have been nicer/more consistent (two orders: one was beautiful, the other was sloppy). We really enjoyed the Beignets and fried green tomatoes, too. 😋 Service: 5/5 ✨ - Our server was very nice and patient with our large party. Ambiance: 4/5 ✨ - A bit loud, given all the glass and concrete. Some decor to absorb sound would be worth exploring.

OOOOHHHH!!!! This place is awesome!!! There's a hidden gem in Atlanta. There's a small bar. It's not a very large place, but it's very elegant inside. The staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone works very well around each other. I highly recommend that you make a reservation. It can get full really fast. Now the good part. The food is so damn good, that my wife and I were eating off of each other's plates. If you like friendly people, and great attitudes, you will definitely love this place.

This place has a good vibe. The decor is fabulous and makes you feel good. However, the service is lackluster. You will wait on every single thing you want or need. I'm not talking about a reasonable wait. I'm talking extensive waiting. And it wasn't that busy! I really like biscuits, but these aren't it. It looks so flavorful but not really a solid taste to it. Just tasted like regular old flour & water mixed. No spices/seasoning. A few things we ordered weren't available. It all looked good, but the taste factor was absent. My daughter literally took 1 bite, asked for a to-go container and promptly threw it away once we walked out. Wow. She's a bigger foodie than my husband and I so if she didn't like it, damn! Oh the Hennessey wings was just regular old sauce. If Hennessey was in it, we didn't taste not even a hint of it.

Google
The food was so season and delicious. I had the seafood biscuits with a side of cheese grits!! My friend had the creamy cat! Definitely on point. Drinks were good as well! will be back for sure!

Let’s start with the location. There are a lot of homeless ppl out that may run some customers away. The inside is very nice. I had the catfish and grits which was really good. The fried biscuits were good but they really just remind me of Chinese donuts. Also there’s an 18% gratuity added to ALL checks.

Google
The food was sooo good! I will definitely be back here for brunch. The seafood biscuit was 🔥🔥! Also I loved the Hennessy shrimps 😋😋! The strawberry waffles were delicious as well! Really everything was good tbh!

BeautifullyMadee N.

Google
The food was amazing! I ordered the Hennessy wings, shrimp, and the seafood biscuits which was topped with their signature sauce, crab, and shrimp. My server was very attentive and quick on her feet! I will most definitely visit again.

Google
Monte was super helpful! He shared his recommendations and checked on us just enough times. I only wished there was more sauce on the seafood biscuit. 😎 The music was perfect!

Yelp
If you're in the East Point area, head straight to Eat My Biscuit at 2881 Main St Unit 100, East Point, GA 30344. This place checks all the boxes: beautiful ambiance, sweet and attentive staff, and an incredible vibe thanks to the R&B music playing throughout. I opted for the Creamy Cat, featuring crispy fried catfish over cheesy grits, covered in a rich seafood sauce with crab, shrimp, lobster, and peppers. Every bite was heavenly--perfectly balanced and full of flavor! The biscuit was soft and buttery but could use a little something extra, like apple jam or apple butter, to truly elevate it. 4.5 out of 5 stars for me! If you're in the area and love soulful eats with a great vibe, this is your spot. Tell them I sent you!

Yelp
My daughter and I were visiting from Los Angeles and she wanted to try this place. I'm so glad we came. The food and the service were wonderful. The next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll make sure to come early so I can try the collards and turkey; they had just run out when we placed our order. My fried green tomatoes were good as well.

Brittany D.

Yelp
If you haven't been here you're missing out and doing yourself a disservice. GO! Food: delicious Ambience: cute and fun Service: pleasant I had the hot chicken biscuit and cleaned my plate. It was a perfect convo between a warm and fluffy biscuit, flavorful chicken that was crispy on the preside but juicy on the inside and the perfect balance of pickles for the perfect taste in each bite. There's free parking in back of the restaurant and on the side of the main street it's on. I went on a Sunday around 10am and it was so quiet and peaceful. We immediately got seated and fed. The crowd didn't start to come until after 11am. The prices are super reasonable with no outlandish charges and fees.

Juliana S.

Yelp
Pretty decent food and atmosphere. If you like 90s (and a little bit of 80's) R&B classics, then I must say the playlist was FIRE. That was probably my favorite part. I MIGHT have to go back when the smoked turkey neck and collard green biscuit is available, because it was all gone! It sounded good and probably is. But the catfish and grits dish was a solid backup. My partner calls it "brunch hooters," because the people on the waitstaff wear these cute little pink shorts like the person in the mural art. I see the branding vision. The drinks were pretty strong, too. I think the portions ran a little small for brunch food (especially relative to the price), but it's still not bad. It's RIGHT across the street from MARTA so it's super accessible and there are parking options galore.

Ayesha L.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend!! Was excited to try this place and they did not disappoint. We had a large group of 14 for brunch and they were able to accommodate us and still bring out all of our food hot and quickly. Our server was amazing and friendly and gave us suggestions on what to order. I will have to make another visit since they ran out of the hot honey chicken biscuit and I really want to try that!

Tahnita C.

Yelp
Food: Was pleasantly good Service: Very attentive & personnel...love the young lady & guy that tended to us Ambiance: Outside the music select...it's a very cute and pritzy spot. I would definitely come back!!!!

Damian F.

Yelp
The food was amazing...the service was good...and the atmosphere was inviting...I really enjoyed this spot...my cousin took me here while I was in town celebrating her birthday...we both had the seafood biscuits...these things were so rich in flavor...plus they melted in your mouth...I would have tried more items on the menu...but the biscuits filled me up...if you want a little spot to chill...make your reservation...and come try the seafood biscuits...you can't go wrong

Lovey M.

Yelp
My friends invited me for lunch here and baby ... it did not disappoint! The service was awesome, friendly, and timely. The food was great! I ordered the creamy cat - seafood grits with crab, lobster, and shrimp in a creamy seafood sauce. I tried the grits alone, and they were ok. You really need all the extras to make this dish work. My friends had the Hennessy wings and Hennessy shrimp, and that was sooooooo flavorful, and delicious! This is definitely a great spot to hang out either alone or with friends!

Tony G.

Yelp
Let me say that being able to make a reservation is everything for us because we have to travel Conyers for all of our dining experiences, off to a great start with that!! The restaurant itself is better than I expected and the service and ambience matches. We were very pleased with our choices, we started with the fried biscuits and my wife had the chicken and grits with eggs. I had the grilled catfish and grits with chicken sausage. Both of our choices came out hot and we enjoyed both of them. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely make it back to try more of their choices in the future.

Ashley T.

Yelp
You won't believe what I found south of downtown Atlanta! Eat My Biscuits is an absolute gem on main street. It's aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of seating and is easy to locate. The staff is super friendly, and the music adds to the vibe and there's easy access to bathrooms! I tried the traditional breakfast with a biscuit, 2 eggs (cooked any way you like), your choice of meat, and your choice of grits or homestyle potatoes. It was fantastic! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Such a nice place with a special spark!

Erica H.

Yelp
The food was delicious , atmosphere was great, love the decor, service was a 10 out of 10 and my server was phenomenal and knowledgeable of the menu. Mel made great recommendations

Shayla J.

Yelp
I absolutely loved it here!! The vibe was easygoing, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding! I had the hennessy wings with a side of grits... The sauce on the wings was super flavorful ands the wings were still crispy! The grits were slightly warm but the flavor was there. Another patron had the fish and grits and stated they were really good. Definitely try them out! The owner is super nice and you can tell she's passionate about her business!! Great gem in the East Point area!

Ti'ana B.

Yelp
An East Point gem! Was considering doing our normal Mommy/ Daughter day breakfast at our favorite Waffle House, but decided to try something different and was highly satisfied. I had heard about and passed by this fairly new spot several times before however never made the time. So glad I did, especially to support a local black owned business. Was instantly greeted as we walked in the door ( which is a huge factor for me as I also work in a heavy service industry), and told to sit wherever . Loved the openness and cleanliness of the restaurant . Also the pink aesthetic was very pleasing for our girly day out. I instantly felt comfortable with my daughter; it was family friendly and also seemed good for a solo lunch or place with family/ friends. Our server, Destiny , was extremely welcoming, fast on her feet , and attentive! She made me want to order everything and was pleasant and patient in answering all of my questions. Mrs. V (the owner) also made her way to our table for a small interaction which meant the world to me and my daughter! The food!!!! First off , the chef should be titled Fried Chicken King cause the wings were the best and fried to absolute perfection! In addition, he came and followed up on the food, which is very nice ! The Hennessy sauce for the wings needs to be bottled up and sold. My daughter's food was good and the portions were perfect for a kid's meal. I also had an order of the fried lobster and cheese grits , because I was feeling extra hungry. The fried biscuits were a great sweet starter. But again the fried wings were the winner of today. The Lavender Martini was a very well made cocktail , I look forward to trying the other ones another time. I'll def be back and also tell others about this gem of a spot!

Yelp
Just landed in Atlanta for vacation, and this was my first stop for food. The service was good, music is young and current and the restaurant is too cute! The ambiance is nice. I ordered the catfish and potato biscuit, which was sooo good! For my drink I ordered hot tea. They gave me lemons. With a choice of a variety of herbal teas which was lovely and much needed. I recommend this spot!

Shanell T.

Yelp
This is a black owned, LGBT friendly business. I went on a Sunday during brunch. I knew it was going to be a wait, but I'm a patient customer. The parking area is extremely small, but that's to be expected. The place was packed and the music with the restaurant chatter was a little loud, but the staff was super friendly and the place is very clean. I haven't gotten my food yet, but the sweet tea is delicious. The food aroma smells so good and everyone's plates at the tables around me look really good. I can't wait to get mine. I ordered the "seafood biscuit" with scrambled eggs and cheese grits. I'm sooo hungry!

Jodii B.

Yelp
The DEEP FRIED creamy catfish dish was amazing !!! The space is small so we sat at the bar. Bartender's service was great. She was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I will return. Parking was convenient. Side and street parking available. Decor and ambiance was inviting

Christina D.

Yelp
Amazing customer service and great idea and concept to this cute breakfast spot. Even the owner is extremely welcoming and the energy truly spreads throughout the place! There is parking located on the side/back of the building and it always seems to be crowded but quick seating and friendly service. I ended up keeping it simple both visits here but MUST try an infamous biscuit, the mimosas and fish and grits are always my go to! I truly enjoy dining here and will be back for the friendly atmosphere, great food and service! Truly an East Point gem!

Niah F.

Yelp
I would give this spot a 3.5 stars actually, we ordered the Creamy Cat, the catfish was fried good however the lobster was really langoustine and I really couldn't find the shrimp. The sauce was good/ favorful and the grits were creamy. We got a biscuit on the side and it didn't do well by itself. You definitely need to get it topped with something. I wouldn't risk it for the biscuit, sorry. But the white chocolate martini was nice

Shavonta K.

Yelp
The ambience is real cute! I think they need to have more signage to let you know the building is where it is located. When we arrived we were seated and it took about 15 minutes for a waitress to come to the table and get drink orders. First red flag, once we got seated mahogany greeted us and Lee us know she was r supposed do be our waitress but she was going to be taking care of us. We brushed it off. We placed our order for the cream cat and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes came out but we didn't have silverware. We signaled mahogany over to the table and she then for us some silverware. We taste the tomatoes and instantly knew the tomatoes had been fried in fish grease. Immediate turnoff, then came the entree. It was ok nothing spectacular about the dish. I had to hunt for the shrimp and crab in it. Our waitress was inattentive to our table. We had to signal for her or get the other waiter to get condiments needed for our table. The restaurant has potential but I won't be coming back to see it happen. First impressions are EVERYTHING and that impression wasn't forgiving at all.

Carlos D.

Yelp
First time here, great service, great atmosphere, great food..located right across from the East Point MARTA Station. I can see the spot will be popping on Main Street..Highly recommend you "risk it for the biscuit! "

Tashara B.

Yelp
Visited this restaurant on a Saturday and there was no wait time. Immediately sat at a table upon walking in. Nice vibe, good R&B music, the black artwork and mural on the walls are a nice touch! Food an absolute 10/10!!! No complaints. If you're in Atlanta this is a must try brunch spot!

Quita E.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 11:44am but arrived to no wait at all! Was seat promptly with Mel.. Received waters right away and placed app order of fried biscuits. Food orders of veggie omelet, cheese grits and honey hot chicken biscuit was placed. Everything was good! The fried biscuits tasted just like a beignet, which was the goal. The honey hot biscuit was good, although I'd remove the pickles next time. The omelet was an omelet lol and the cheese grits were good. Service waa good and parking was easy on the side of the building and free. We'd definitely be back.

Toni A.

Yelp
The hot honey chicken biscuit is amazing!! Good customer service! The chicken wings were top-tier! with the fried green tomatoes being a great pair for an appetizer!! Will definitely be back....

Cherrelle S.

Yelp
Service was great. All waiters were constantly checking on the tables even if it was not their table. Food was great. We had the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Waffle, which was amazing. We also had the Creamy Cat and Seafood Shrimp and Grits. Both had a great flavor and a good portion. We will definitely be back.

Reginald T.

Yelp
I have visited this restaurant 3x. Each time the service was great and food is consistently GOOD. Each time I visited, the owner came out and spoke to the table and thanked us for supporting here business. This is definitely a repeat restaurant for me.

Richard Y.

Yelp
Greeted as soon you walk inside. The drinks were good. The food was aawesome. I ordered the Biscuit meal.the plate was too small. But it was great. My server was awesome defdefinitely gonna put this place in my rotation .

K S.

Yelp
Ample, savory portions. Drinks were delicious, service was attentive enough. Music was awesome mix of artists. Definitely, definitely coming back next time I visit! I love the t-shirts!

Saunsarae M.

Yelp
I went with a friend for an impromtu brunch. You cant park right in front. There is street parking around but beware of parking in other businesses parking lots. The restaurant has a bar and about 10-12 tables. In the morning the sun comes in the windows and makes a few of the seats too bright to sit at. Service was mediocre. Food was not great. I got the hot chocolate. When I asked for more hot water, They microwaved it. I also order the biscuit breafast. The biscuits are savory, which I wasnt expecting and I didnt like. The eggs and sausage was all just mediocre. Food temp wasnt great. I feel I could have made a basic breakfast at home that would have taste better. I was hoping for a new spot but I will not return and unfortunately I dont recommend. I hope overtime they will level up the service and food.

Joel R.

Yelp
This was an enjoyable experience overall from the food, ambience and service. A perfect way to kickoff a relaxing Sunday. I got the hot honey chicken biscuit which had a lot of flavor and was filling. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Cherelle C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Ambiance was fun and chill. It wasn't very crowded at all and the music selection was great. The parking is the worst part. We were able to grab spots on the street but I imagine on a busier day, that might not be realistic. Bottom line, every thing we ate was great.

Robert F.

Yelp
Eat My Biscuits a chill place with a pretty down home menu. I had the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit. It was ok but didn't compare well to what was pictured (Google maps). It was a bit smaller. The biscuit and chicken seemed a bit overcooked, not necessarily burnt, just a bit more chew in the chicken and the biscuit toasty. I could be wrong but think I received one of the two eggs advertised on the menu. The sauce, had a bit of a hot sauce tang to it. They accommodated us, a party of 22. The servers were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and smelled great. Parking and high chairs available.

Deborah G.

Yelp
Very pricey for what you get. Fish and grits very good. Eggs were microwave because it looked grey instead of yellow. Sent them back.Potatoes were not good.Service was not good. 4 orders were taken. 3 the same. Only 2 came out and they had to wait 15 minutes for food. The staff wears brown pants that look like they have nothing on. The place is just like a regular cafe nothing cute about it. Murals on the wall

Vena F.

Yelp
Love the ambience of this place! The playlist is on point!(appropriate vibes for a dining experience). The traditional breakfast was enjoyable, with exception to the grits(did not wow us). Ordered a side of catfish to accompany, since the protein options for the breakfast are limited to bacon/chicken sausage/pork sausage patty). It was very good. The chicken and waffle did not disappoint, with the exception of the wings being on the smaller side(3 included, should offer 1 or 2 more to compensate for the size). They are deliciously seasoned and fried perfectly! The waffle has a bit of a chew to it. Not sure if the batter is just overworked or they just are always that dense. Not awful, just a noticeable difference. Also, had a mimosa which was more juice than preferred. In short, mostly good food, really great vibe!

Lisa M.

Yelp
I was so excited to finally get here. However I was a little disappointed. There was only 1 waitress so service was very slow and she had no time to tell us about the place or answer my questions. I had the Cajun cat (fish n grits) and a biscuit. My daughter had the creamy cat. They left the crab and lobster off of my daughter's meal and brought it in a separate bowl. I was almost finished with my food when I finally got my drink. I had the lavender martini (very tasty). It was ok, but not a very good experience! And, my gratuity of 18% was already included. They did comp my drink tho... overall a 6/10 in my opinion!

Shavon H.

Yelp
Cute place. Expensive for breakfast but tasty. Not the highest quality but still a cute experience. Corner booth by the windows is my favorite. And it has a bar, a cute pink sign, and the waitresses have cute varsity jackets.

Jannon S.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this cute diner in East point. Waited almost 30 mins for our catfish and grits. It's just that. Fried catfish (albeit good fried) that was lacking in seasoning and grits. There is something missing in this dish that made it extremely underwhelming. I might circle back with this place in the future but I'd have to see more reviews.

Matt D.

Yelp
We had brunch at EMB this weekend while attending a wedding in Atlanta. This restaurant has a really nice vibe and the food and service are very good. We ordered the seafood shrimp and grits and the classic breakfast. Both were outstanding. If you go to Eat My Biscuits I recommend making reservations because the dining area is not very large and the place is always packed. We liked everything about this restaurant, the music the food and the vibe!

Belinda W.

Yelp
The food was excellent. The music was at a tolerable level for conversation. The Hennessy wings and the waffle are a must!!! The drinks were great, I have the strawberry mint martini made with Hennessy. I'm telling you, go on and go because I have no complaints.

Michelle P.

Yelp
Went on a day brunch with my daughters. Creamy Cat was our best dish. Honey Chicken biscuit was decent as well. The "fried biscuit" is a NO!

Torrey P.

Yelp
This place is beautiful inside and well decorated. The music is a little loud for my taste. I could barely hear my waitress. I'm up there in age though so...service was good. There was only one server but she stayed calm and handled the growing crowd. The food came out in good time. I ordered the breakfast plate. There weren't a lot of eggs but I ordered extra. The was good overall a positive experience. I will come back.

Serenity L P.

Yelp
The flood was very flavorful and reasonably priced. Customer service was great. Very friendly server. And the ambiance was cool though a bit feminine. I'm not sure how comfortable men would feel

Carolyn H.

Yelp
It's not all that, I could've made this at home in 30 minutes. $4 for a cup of coffee is ridiculous could have added 1 more dollar and went to Starbucks. The biscuit ain't what I thought it would be. Need to be bigger and have a taste. Yours are bland. Sorry thought I would have enjoyed it more. No salt and pepper on table, the silverware looks 10 years old wrapped in a cloth napkin and it kinda smelled. Needs to be sanitized better. Music too loud , but the waitress was very nice.

Lola J.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place and so glad The decor is adorable, everything from the bar area to the restroom's is beautiful, in all fairness my favorite colors are mauve/peach/pink/magenta. Anywho...the service was great, we had a party of 8 and our server was SO PATIENT. As various orders kept changing he was kind and never appeared flustered. The best part is that the food was even better! The Hennessy wings are a MUST, I truly enjoyed the catfish and grits and the lemon blueberry waffle.

Sherie K.

Yelp
No. Another product of Atl dining culture... overpriced nothing. I had the catfish biscuit. AWFUL! Couldn't finish it & I wanted to do I wouldn't have wasted my money. However at $15 you would have a semi full plate & not tapas. Weak drinks and nasty food.

Mariah A.

Yelp
So this place is a vibe. The bartender Devante, took care of us. He made our drinks at our request perfectly. We look forward to seeing it on the menu. The music was a vibe. The atmosphere was a vibe. I sat at the bar. The food was really good. They made recommendations but I ended up getting the honey Hennessey wings and the fried biscuits. My friend got the Nashville hot chicken biscuit, which was really good. I have no complaints. I will be back and I suggest you try this place before it gets packed.

Alyssa L.

Yelp
Had an amazing time at this restaurant. All i can say is ask for Mel if available. We were definitely accommodated. I ordered the Traditional breakfast with grits and an order of there fried chicken wings with Honey Hot Sauce on the side and a Margarita to drink. Everything came out fresh and hot and we even received a special little gift from Mel. We brought the family but this atmosphere is great for all. Please check it out and ask for Mel.

Ciara B.

Yelp
I visited Eat My Biscuits on a rainy Saturday but that wasn't going to stop me from having a good brunch! PARKING Parking can be tricky. I wasn't quite sure where to park. The restaraunt is on the corner of a street. There is not a private parking area. There is parking on the side and also in the back of the spot. There is also a MARTA station right across the street. Not sure what the parking rules are there but you should be ok while you grab food. SEATING It's a not a huge space but they make good use of it. There is a fully stocked bar, table and a few booth spaces. If you have a large party I'm not sure this is the best option, but for 1-4 people there shouldn't be an issue in finding a table. FOOD I modified my order and got the catfish with a waffle. The fish was crispy, could have had a bit more seasoning but it was still good. My waffle was fluffy and good as well. Truly no complaints about the food. DRINKS My drink, Squeeze MY Biscuits, was good! It came in a cute glass. The only thing I didn't prefer were the sparkles in my drink but it didn't effect the taste at all. SERVICE Mel was an excellent server. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There was an issue with our 2nd drink and he didn't make a fuss at all and kindly got it corrected for us. All the servers seemed friendly and attentive to their tables. VIBE It was a very relaxed environment. You're able to have a conversation with who you're dining with - even after they turned the music on. I heard they have a live band during the week which some may enjoy! I hope this place sees steady business! With it being a full on a rainy day, I can only imagine the traffic on a nice, sunny day. Before long I think people will catch on to this spot and it will be the next brunch go to!

Emanuel S.

Yelp
This is part one just coming in here the atmosphere was great and the staff were very bubbly and lively so definitely I can see myself coming here the music is great and my cocktail is freaking awesome

Markeda B.

Yelp
The Hennessy Chicken was great and the lavender martini was as well very good music and inviting ambience
