Eataly Soho

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which definitely added to the overall experience. While the meal was decent, it wasn’t remarkable enough to leave me eager to return. The kids' pasta, however, was the standout. The quality of the pasta and the freshly grated cheese really elevated the dish, making it a highlight compared to the other items we tried. On the other hand, the seafood salad was underwhelming—it lacked flavor, and the seafood was softer than I prefer. The roasted potatoes were a pleasant surprise, perfectly cooked. The fried calamari, unfortunately, didn’t impress. It was served with an overwhelming amount of fried zucchini—about four times the amount of zucchini to calamari. The Caesar salad was also a miss, as it was drenched in dressing, which should never happen. The chicken Milanese was quite small, leaving me wishing for a more substantial portion. The wine selection here, though, was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. In comparison to their other locations, the food here didn’t quite measure up. However, the service was solid, especially considering how busy it was over the Christmas break.

We went here with 3 kids and they loved it! Granted it was basic butter pasta and cheese pizza but hey, got then eating. Make sure you check out the store and watch them bake the pizza Infront of you. They answered the kiddos questions and gave them pizza dough to play with.

Overall it was good but not the best. portion of ravioli wasn’t that big for 30$. The chicken was great but the Patato chips were just a pile of oily bits and pieces. Not worth 10$. Tiramisu was very nice but the panna cota was lacking flavor. Lovely interior!

Lovely hostess received us and gave us a table without a reservation. Great service from Omar and the busboys. Cozy and elegant. We ordered the bread and olive oil. It was ok. Neither worth the $ nor the calories. Skip. The calamari and fried zucchini dish was delightful. Nicely battered. Great flavour. Very few pieces of calamari. The spaghetti ragu tastes good but is a minced meat like any other. The mozarrela and massese pizzas were both very good. Nice dough and toppings. Although we were very full, we ordered the tiramisu. Very, very good! Expensive but worth having. The market that is attached it definitely worth visiting. They make pizza on the spot. Nice selection of meats, cheeses, pastas, sauces… They have their tiramisu and other desserts read to go.

We Went for a pre bday dinner and had the squash and the pizza. Food was delicious Nice atmosphere but i do think it got too dark for dinner the lights were dimmed around 5pm a lovely time great market. Beautiful arrangements of flowers and things to buy Waiter was great good customer service Very attentive I wld come again! Beautiful venue we also did their first tiramisu class. Chef gabby was amazing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 she was very funny and gave us step by step while keeping us laughing. She is great (from the flat iron location). We need more classes w her. Thank you gabby it was a fun night to the beginning of my daughter’s birthday

Eataly is an absolute gem! After a long stroll by the water, we decided to unwind in the café area at Eataly in Soho, and it was the perfect choice. The ambiance is inviting and warm, making it an ideal spot to recharge. We treated ourselves to a glass of fresh wine and indulged in some delicious Italian coffee accompanied by flaky, mouthwatering pastries. I highly recommend trying their cappuccino paired with the apple tart—it’s simply divine! And if you’re a wine lover, don’t miss out on their delightful rosé; it’s the perfect complement to the vibrant atmosphere. Eataly also offers a wide variety of unique Italian and European goodies, making it a fantastic place to explore and pick up some delightful treats. This spot is a must-visit when in NYC! Whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy a meal, or shop for some special ingredients, Eataly has it all. I can't wait to return and soak up more of this wonderful experience!

It's OK. Ordered truffle pasta, expected it to have more flavor, it was a bit flavorless. Will not order it again. I think pizza is good, should have gotten that. Otherwise good atmosphere, has a market too.

The last time I dined at Eataly was when they first opened the store on 23rd St. The restaurant at SoHo is new and it was a nice and airy place. Early for the Sunday brunch and inquired about the prefix menu and it seems the waiter does not know about it and had to show it to him on my phone. Apparently it was only on offer on weekdays. The wait staff was not engaged at all. They were just there to serve. Ordered a pasta dish which was so so. Added a rustic bread which was not served warm. The olive oil was great. Not sure if I’m coming back or will recommend this store.

Pros: I love the aesthetic of this place--it has such a great vibe! There's a solid variety of beverages and entrées, plus plenty of seating. The space is large and open, making it a great spot for bigger groups. I ordered the Pinot Nero with the pomodoro, which was a nice pairing. Cons: I felt like the dish that I ordered lacked flavor--it seemed like something was missing.. in addition to that, I also felt that our server wasn't very attentive, and I often had to track him down for things like cheese, water, and the check.

We ordered the Calamari, Le Tagliatelle, Spaghetto Alla Carbonara e Tartufo, and we received a free Margherita Verace pizza from a holiday promotion. The calamari was delicious but the portions were inconsistent. Tables around us had ordered it as well, we unfortunately had far less than others. I felt like I was eating fried zucchini with bits of calamari. The tagliatelle was bland and not memorable. It needed additional cheese to save it. The carbonara was decent. The flavors were good and texture of the meats was delightful. The Margherita pizza was average, the tomato sauce was sweet but other than that it was nothing to rave about. The service and ambiance were terrible. Food arrived slowly. No cheese was offered when pasta was served. We had to ask several waiters for it. Received the cheese after 10 minutes. We also asked for chili flakes for the pizza. The flakes never arrived. I saw the table next to us getting the flakes even though they didn't have pizza. They looked confused. A fellow diner dropped her purse and the hostess walking by stepped over it. She then led other patrons over her bag. It was such a bewildering scene to witness. Service was just disappointing. Slow to serve, fast to give bill. Ambiance was bad. Restaurant is connected to the market. The restaurant should consider preventing shoppers from going through the main section of the restaurant if they are not dining. What's the point of having separate entrances? People in full winter gear stomping by diners. Kitchen is also far from the restaurant. Servers have to walk through the market to bring food in. Overall, it was a negative experience.

What do you do after a day of bopping and shopping around SoHo? You forget to make a reservation and then panic add your name to a bunch of lists that all have a 45+ minute wait. Eataly was the first to have a table for us and there was so much to love about our visit. Firstly, like all Eataly locations, the space is gorgeous. From the dining area to the market and bakery, it's beautiful and feels like a special place. We walked around a bit while waiting for our table, picked up a few groceries from the top and bottom level and marveled at all of the *quite expensive* Italian goods. We picked up everything from a bag of dried pasta to an Italian toothbrush to a canned seltzer and continued our walk around outside until we got a text that we had a table. Even if you don't have plans to stay and eat, Eataly is a fun place to browse and shop, even for a couple small things. We skipped drinks since we were just here for lunch and went straight to entrees. While my friends loved their dishes, I was not a huge fan of mine. I got the Le Tagliatelle bolognese and it just did not have any flavor. I am never one who adds salt to a dish (a mountain of parm, sure), but I added quite a bit to this one. My friends gave it a try and were also surprised at how bland it was. It has wonderful reviews here on Yelp so maybe it was just a fluke serving, but I wouldn't return for it. The space is gorgeous, so it is worth a visit. If you plan on eating, maybe stick to a glass of wine and a pizza or some apps. Buon appetito!

I've eaten at a couple of Eatalys, including in Flatiron, in Italy and in Japan. The restaurant here really steals the show - it's sleek, pretty modern, but still fits with the Eataly aesthetic - and seems to be the prime reason people come here. For us as well. We were a table of four and had four amazing wines. They have something to fit everyone's taste buds. Food is great as well - the pizza is fantastic and the dough is really good. The calamari and the burrata were great as well. The only draw back was service - the place was pretty busy and you can definitely see the waiters running around a bit. They did a decent job of keeping up with our table. There was also some conflicting info we got about certain dishes and wines from two different waiters. Other than that, no other issues!

Dined here for lunch with my daughter. I knew we didn't have much time-- we went with the Spaghetti and a pizza. Me both were under the impression the spaghetti would come with red sauce, which instead had Alfredo. The pasta was okay, the pizza was great. The service was excellent, our server constantly checked in on us. The ambiance was pretty laid back and both had adults and a few tables of children. Eataly has a large market both downstairs and upstairs, which was not too crowded. However, I was in a rush and didn't have any time to stop and really look around. This location is much better than the location that was in Westfield near the World Trade Center. I would definitely to this location, in the future, and hopefully run into the same server.

Food was decent. The spotlight of the night was the tiramisu dessert. Everything else was just okay. Our service was slow. And while we wait the fire alarm went off. But my review is only about the food. Not the ambiance. That they can't control.

I like this Eataly a lot with delicious food at the restaurant. I went there on Christmas Day which I was grateful that they opened. We ordered the calamari, pasta with truffle. They are all delicious and hot. It was busy during holiday season and there was a bit of wait. The ambiance is cosy. Will definitely go back.

Was finishing up my shopping in SoHo and bumped into Eataly. I'm so happy I did. Upon entering, the restaurant was very airy and inviting with a lot of space and the music was not too loud- perfect to have a conversation. I came here for a late lunch, and I was seated without reservation promptly. My server was an absolute delight. The food came out very quickly. I ordered an aperol spritz which was fabulous. Then, I ordered the chicken Milanese. This was probably one of the best ones I've had for I didn't need to use the lemon since the flavor was so good. Lastly, I had the Italian parfait which consisted of yogurt and fruits and granola with honey on top. It was scrumptious. My server was so kind and gave me the aperol spritz on the house. This restaurant is lovely for any occasion, and I would definitely return to try the pastas!

The pasta was delish, and so was the drink. It was a perfect combo after a day of shopping. Although it's not as cozy as the Flatiron location, I would definitely visit again.

While walking around we saw Eataly and decided to stop in for coffee This location is really nice, smaller than the other one I knew but the same great food and service.

OMG THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA with actual home-made crust, not that frozen mass-market GF crust all pizzerias use. It was divine. I haven't had bubbly crust in forever. I want to go back and eat another whole pizza. Omnomnom.

My brother and sister in law were in town while stopping over on their way to Paris. We decided to eat at Eataly. First the great. The service was spot on. No matter who came by the table and a request was made of them, the request was fulfilled immediately. No "this is not my table, I'll let your server know." Kudos for that. Next the ambience. Place was a little loud despite it only being half full at dinner time. Or half empty depending if your a half full/half empty visionary. Lastly, most of our dishes we pretty good. I had the pasta with white clam sauce and other assorted shell fish. My brother and sis shared a pizza and a Caesar Salad. I also partook in a Caesar Salad. Here's where the deficiency comes in. Caesar did not make this salad. Lacking was shaved cheese, anchovies and croutons. The dressing was trying to resemble a Caesar dressing but fell very short. Some of us actually like authentic Caesar Salad that includes anchovies but most places leave it off the salad. Yes, worth going to but not a repeatable dining experience.

I visited this location 24 hours after visiting Eataly in Boston, MA, for the first time ever. Anywhere you see the sign for Eataly, consider it the sign of happiness and joy! You're safe here, and mostly nothing here will disappoint you! I believe the brand brainwashed me but with nothing other than their freshness and deliciousness! Lol In this location I only spent 5 minutes! I think it's a mini location compared to their other locations ? Or it could be me who didn't explore it enough! I literally got an Espresso, Latte for my cousin, and 2 desserts ( Tiramisu del Nonna and Panna cotta ) The store looks amazing inside and outside! The staff at the coffee was nice and I really liked the Baristas! They were very nice! Please be aware of negative reviews describing this place as expensive!! It is expensive but for me expensive could be justified if it's worth it and it's definitely worth it! Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

My husband and I dined here this past weekend after we checked out the Coca Cola Spiced Pop up nearby. I've always wanted to eat at one of the Eataly locations and I got lucky that day. We browsed through the market area within Eataly where one can buy pastries, order coffee, or buy Italian products like pastas, sauces, gelato and more. We had dinner in their restaurant. I ordered the Il Pollo Alla Milanese and Margarita pizza and my husband ordered the Gli Agnolotti. He enjoyed his dish very much. We both enjoyed the margarita pizza a lot. The pizza was flavorful and yummy. I wish I had more of it. The pollo alla Milanese was alright. I think it would have treated better with the aioli sauce but I couldn't have the sauce because it was made with raw eggs. They substituted the sauce with marinara instead. Next time I'll stick with the pizzas. The ambiance was really nice. The wait staff were really helpful and answered all of our questions. I wouldn't mind dining here again and trying other dishes.

It is restaurant week in NYC and I was near Eataly, so I tried the $30 lunch, which is a two-course meal. The lunch was fine; nothing to go out of your way for, and IMO- overpriced. I was annoyed they didn't serve free bread; I had to pay $4 extra. The staff & atmosphere is fine; the location of the restaurant makes this a tourist trap. Overall, I would just stick to the Eataly cafe next time. It is a good place to chill, catch up on mobile work, or simply escape the cold weather.

Love this new Eataly location! Very nice interior and very spacious. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The focaccia and pizza was AMAZING. Had to wait for quite a while for the pasta and fish though. Fish was on the saltier side. But overall would totally come back! :)

Excellent! I have been to the Flat Iron and Las Vegas locations and this one is definitely the best one. Clean, friendly, very organized vs the other locations. Food was fresh and spot on. Small menu but good variety, however I didn't like the fact to change the pesto sauce for red sauce on the gnocchis, not like they are pre-cooked. So heads up they will NOT change anything on the menu. Go with time service is a tad slow but good for us as we were stopping for good food and rest after shopping around SOHO. The dessert were insane Tiramisu and the Panettone was super moist

Enjoyed a lovely dinner complete with branzino, bisteca, tagliatelle and the perfect tiramisu and panna cotta. Relaxing atmosphere but spotty service.

As always, the newest of Eataly in SoHo didn't disappoint. The ambiance was delightful on a beautiful Spring afternoon. After a little shopping & checking out the Coca-Cola Spiced ( 2 day only ) experience I walked over a few steps to check out the newest location. The staff was extremely friendly too. Attempting to try something new, the Gli Agnolotti was a pleasant surprise. Light and delicious it'll be a new favorite. The pork & veal filling was tasty and moist. But of course, when here, please feel free to have their Amazing Le Tagliatelle. It's sure to hit the spot. Looking forward to stopping by again as it was a great idea to bring Eataly to SoHo

Came here because I had time to kill and got a slice of pizza and a cappucino - sat at the general area where there were lots of tables and chairs, super casual. Staff was so nice and friendly! Also walked around the grocery section and wanted to buy everything...

The restaurant was beautiful but smelled fishyFood was ok except the mussels of my pasta. I wanted to look around the gift shop after lunch but one of the staff kept talking to me so I left. He even asked my IG name

Came in on a Monday afternoon after doing some shopping in SoHo and was surprised to see an Eataly. I wondered how far we had wandered and if we had made it to Madison Square Park but after digesting where we were I realized this was a smaller version of the other bigger Eataly location. We are not Italian food connoisseurs by any stretch of the imagination but we were hungry and this looked like a great place to try. We came in looking for a "light" lunch and I had to really fight to urge to try their pizzas, they looked really good. I had the bolognese with beef and pork and it was fantastic - "LE TAGLIATELLE" as it was called on the menu. It tasty, sauce was clean and not overly processed and was filling but wasn't overwhelming. My wife had the Valentine's day (sort of) special of black ink pasta and lobster and she really liked it, also wasn't very overbearing. Service was excellent throughout our meal and afterwards it was fun to explore the their marketplace with a variety of different foods and snacks. This location is definitely smaller than the one in flatiron district but still a good place to stop by...

Wonderful lunch with lovely ambiance! We purchased the focaccia and olive oil (bread not included with lunch), and it was delicious. For our meal the two of us shared the insulate verde and tagliatelle bolognese. Servings were generous so we had some to take home for dinner! We treated ourselves to dessert - tiramisu was melt in. your mouth fabulous. Our server was lovely and helpful. We were not rushed through our meal - although we did go at the end of the lunchtime crowd! Highly recommend!

Had an outdoor lunch here on a random weekday and was pleasantly surprised with their menu. I got a sort of non alcoholic cucumber spritz which was really fresh and tasty 10/10. Then i got the focaccia and the chicken milanese. The focaccia was so fluffy yet had a crusty exterior which gave it a nice bite. The chicken was a good portion but it was just lacking some salt. This was an easy fix and the aioli it was served with was so good, i made sure to have some in every bite. The greens the chicken was served with were good and perfectly dressed but a little messy to eat due to their size. The plate felt a little crowded but flavors were spot on. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back to try their pastas!

This newest and smallest location of Eataly in NYC still packs a punch with its wide array of offerings. Despite its size, it manages to encompass a grocery area, restaurant, and cafe. The interior is lovely and spacious, with a welcoming staff adding to the experience. The focaccia sandwiches were sooooo good. We got 3 and they were all gone within 15 mins. The market is so wonderful as well as it carries a lot of items that are seasonal such as yuzu and buddha's hand. I will be coming back to check out the restaurant soon!

We were looking for a place to eat in the city, we walked around and found Eataly, they were able to accommodate us without reservations so we have decided to give it a try and we sure glad we did. We had a really good lunch experience. The Bronzino was excellent and so were the crispy potatoes and fresh salad. The restaurant staff is very nice and accommodating, and the vib was great as well. Highly recommend.

I love the market part of Eataly. Great selection of produce, meat/seafood, cheese, and Italian pantry goods. Large space with a downstairs portion dedicated to home/gifts and sweets. I really enjoyed perusing through all the aisles. I ended up buying a salad and they have seating next to the restaurant for take fast dining. They also have a case of sweets and offer drinks in that seating area. It's bar style seating with a few high top tables. Service was pleasant. Will return.

Went for dinner last night because it was the final day for Restaurant Week. Some friends had gone for lunch and really enjoyed the special menu. We were hungry and had the rustic bread (not complementary), which was thick and hearty. My friend ordered off the regular menu and had the seared black bass. The portion was on the small side but for a light eater like her, it was perfect. She thought it had a subtle smoky flavour and that the skin was cooked perfectl. The Restaurant Week menu featured three courses. I started with the Verde salad, which was bountiful, colourful and enough for us to share. The Burrata pizza was delicious, as was the Tiramisu. This was our first time at this Eataly location and I liked it much more than the Flatiron outpost. The Soho location is much more airy and comfortable. The service was also terrific!

Had dinner here with a buddy a couple weeks ago and there were a few "misses" that were very off putting. Should also state that I prob eat at Eatlaly about once every couple weeks. On most visits, things are fine, but after this last visit, my views have changed considerably. First, it took forever for a waiter just to come see us to say hello or for us to just get some water and the place was not busy in the least. Then my buddy ordered a glass of red wine and after it arrives he says it was just off. Waiter, instead of taking the wine glass that had the sour wine on the table just says "I will be back", leaves the wine and just disappears for like 10-15 mins. We then see him walking around outside for a while, then takes an order for 2 other tables, then more walking around until my buddy flagged him down asking for a wine list and another glass of wine...just weird. I ordered one of their "special" pizzas which they tout as being much better than their regular pizzas. First, the pizza came out ICE COLD!! You are a high end Italian restaurant and serve cold pizza?? HOW?? Then when I said something to the waiter, he says "well, because the crust is so thin, the pizza gets cold quickly." HUH?? He takes it back, brings a new pizza and its pipping hot. That being said, the pizza was average tasting at best and very disappointing overall. My buddy had the chicken milanese and said it was not good at all. Had a hard time cutting the chicken (very rubbery) and not all that tasty. Then I keep watching the general manager and never once did he visit a table to ask how things were or ensure that service was up to par. Then at end of night we walk past the GM expecting to hear him say something like "hope to see you soon or hope you enjoyed your meal", but nothing. Sad to say it, but this will probably be my last visit which is a shame.

This is the third time trying there bakery and the pastry are sweet and great but the service is very off. I was the first on the line and got skipped multiple time by each of the server and it was clear I was ready to order. But never got asked if I was while everyone else did. And yes I am indeed african-American. Very horrible

We were a whole bunch for brunch, 16 people with kids! And we had a great brunch there. Service super attentive and they are lucky to have a great manager there, Antoine, who really looked after everyone and made our experience super enjoyable.. Super professional! Foor was great (pizza, eggs benedict, chicken parm... yum!!) Will definitely go back there.

I went to Etaly to celebrate my son's first heavenly birthday I must say I thought I would be a mess but I found true comfort in the Gli Spaghetti it was perfect along with the Caesars salad. I finished my meal with dessert called Tiramisu Della Nonna! It was perfection on a plate! The service is good but my waiter forgot the bread I ordered and often times was very busy with other tables. But overall when I go back for Christmas I plan to go back for sure! The ambiance is family style and welcoming!

Everything about this place is great. Service was amazing. We needed to get in and out so we could make it to mid town for a show. Our server took great care of us. I had the spaghetti all arrabbiata E burrata, I could've used a bit more spice. For an arrabbiata it was lacking but the presentation was amazing. They bring g it out on a cart and the server breaks open the burrata to expose the gooey cheese and spreads its on top of the pasta. It really was delicious. We have been to the Eataly near MSG and now the one in SoHo. We will definitely be back

A group of 5 of Us had dinner reservations at 6pm on a Friday evening. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted & seated. We waited a few LONG minutes until the waiter came to take our orders & etc. The Food was good but, the service itself could have been a little better.

We ordered a Caesar salad, which was good as a start, Chicken Milanese, pasta with zucchini, and broccoli rob. The dinner was over 100 dollars. Chicken Milanese was very thin, the sides of this chicken were dried out, and upon chewing it, it felt as if one was eating an old, dried, and fried out old chicken thin cutlet. The chicken was not fluffy, or juicy, just dry. It reminded me of eating Kentucky fried chicken back in the days, only when we ate Kentucky fried chicken, I knew it wasn't healthy, tasted better, and it didn't cost that much. I wished we sent the chicken Milanese back, but the waiter wasn't around and we were starving. Still the damn Milanese chicken was so dry that we left half of it on the plate, unable to chew it and struggle with the chicken, I think the chicken won! Chicken Milanese dish was served also with various leaves which were very soaked in vinegar, and we only left it untouched. It would have been better to serve it fresh with oil and lemon on a side. The pasta was greasy, and didn't taste good. I expected a good bunch (at least 50g of zucchini), but zucchini was torched in oil, I think the cook shaved zucchini pieces so that nothing from the dinner seemed healthy or nutritious. There was not much zucchini. We spoke to the waiter about the food after he showed up, who told us that "this is how they serve it." We went home to eat our own food because we ended up being hungry. I highly recommend to Eataly to invest in more vegetables when they serve their customers. Zucchini is a fine large vegetable, and I think in general US needs to serve more healthy food, remove cholesterol (there is no need to put so much butter in pasta when olive oil is just fine and much healthier). A couple next to us was enjoying their fried up calamari (I haven't seen anything served healthy to others or appetizing). The bathroom is downstairs. I don't think a person who is disabled or on a wheelchair can use the bathroom using stairs. They don't have elevators for the disabled. I don't recommend this restaurant. We don't plan to return. Nice ambiance. One can sit outside and enjoy the view.

Wonderful food and service. Was craving their Neapolitan pizza and opted in for the dining week menu. Pizza was amazing but the burrata with caponata was so good I picked up some ready made caponata at the market next door after the meal. Tiramisu did not disappoint either- had a unique presentation and my boyfriend said it was the best he ever had- including a two week trip to Italy. Service was very attentive and polite. Looking forward to coming back.

Wow, this Eataly is incredible! Our service was impeccable. The ambiance is very nice, I love the Italy feel it gives. The tiramisu was the best I have ever had, and everything was super authentic. I feel bad I cannot remember our waiters name, but he was a very sweet young man from France. We had such an amazing experience and would love to come back!

We love it here! The rooftop restaurant is stunning decorated with seasonal flowers. The food is good, more of a lunch spot IMO. Service was quick.

Despite my high expectations, the food was very meh. I ended up sending my first plate back because the pasta was too hard, and the second plate I replaced it with was flavorless. The atmosphere was nice and the service was expected, but nothing spectacular here and not worth the price point.

Sadly, we had a bad experience tonight. I don't know what happened to this place. I think they switched management, or are perhaps leasing the place out to a different group, because it was like a totally different restaurant! We went to this Eataly SOHO restaurant when it first opened and it was great. Tonight we invited another couple and raved that it was a great place, with great food, and a great atmosphere, and one where you can actually hear each others' conversations. It was NONE of the above. To our surprise, upon walking in, they had a terrible DJ playing loud disco music, which was so out of place and annoying- it so did not fit in with the decor or vibe of a quality Italian restaurant. Others were annoyed by this as well and the staff kept apologizing. Then the food! We all ordered Caesar salads and pasta specials. All was bland and tasteless. The lemon pasta, which the waiter highly recommended, was bland, overcooked and just plain terrible! They took back three of them and replaced all of them with an equally bland, overcooked pasta. It was some of the worst Italian food I've ever had out in my 30+ years of living in SOHO! And then to add insult to injury, when the check came, they didn't even do as much as comp us one single drink, for the annoyance of loud DJ and sub-standard food. All round terrible experience and embarrassing that we brought friends here and raved about the place. I have been a fan of Eataly since Mario opened the first NYC one in Flatiron, and have even been to the original one in Torino, Italy - but this restaurant is a disgrace to your name. Sadly you have lost a loyal customer after tonight.

This review is specifically for the "ItaloDisco" event that happened on 7/18 at Eataly SoHo. I would have to take one star off for the weird "Amalfi Coast" hotel disco they were playing when we entered, it did nothing to build excitement and for the raw risotto, that was a sad state of affairs in pasta form. I will give the full four stars for the lovely happy server who greeted us with generous pours of Prosecco . He seemed genuinely happy to be there! The store was closed for the event so we had the run of the space. My friend and I bought our tickets on Pulsd and wow what a value. We are the most delectable caviar, oysters, meats, cheeses and flatbreads, pastas and more. There were desserts and fruit and frankly I wish I could have eaten more. Everything (except that nasty chewy risotto) was very fresh and appealing. There were so many drinks to try, my liver just hated me the next day. The staff kept the tables and floors clean and all the servers were great, well maybe except the guy chopping up the giant Parmesan wheel, he seemed to be questioning his life choices. The "disco" had most everyone on the floor after a million drinks, but I don't recall hearing a lot of disco classics. My friend, who is from Italy, also had issues with the music. But all in all, a great time.

Cheapest bottle of wine here was $60, and glasses of wine are $15+ per glass. The service was incredible--our waiter was cheerful, bubbly, and had excellent vegetarian recommendations. As wonderful as the butternut squash ravioli with cream sauce was, my husband pointed out "it was ~$4 per ravioli." Maybe I should just accept that even though Eataly has some warehouse vibes, the vibe is still very much upscale ristorante, which I can appreciate it. The inside was beautiful and we were sat in a booth, which I'm always a big fan of, but still pricey for a chain

We absolutely loved Eataly SoHo. It's definitely more of a restaurant vibe since that's the first thing you see when you enter. The atmosphere is fantastic for a date or a small group of friends.

Got the spaghetti pomodoro & the margarita pizza, DELISH. Very authentic Italian. Only complaint- slow service.
