Our server Laura was so sweet and accomidating to us. The menu is detailed with color coding by allergen which was very helpful for my gluten allergy as I have celiacs disease. The head chef was masterful in his presentation and taste. The sushi rice was perfection. All the staff meticulously served. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef's treatment of the Tamago was the best I have ever tasted. This was a surprise as the omlette sushi is usually overlooked. We had a perfect anniversary dinner!

This place became my favorite Japanese restaurant after the visit! The interior is pleasant! The staffs were friendly and attentive. We ordered the four courses, and each presentation was beautiful and each meal tasted delicious! What a wonderful night was!

We live within walking distance of Ebesu and finally made it there for dinner. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening, though I’d recommend making a reservation to be safe. The food was top-notch, and both the service and atmosphere were excellent. While prices run higher than average, they’re not unreasonable. We’ll definitely be returning!

Been here 4 times now and most recently I had the chance to try their tuna cutting experience. Every visit was absolutely amazing! Their tuna cutting experience is a high cost, but as a cheapass, it is so worth it. Check out my pictures and the chopsticks on the right side so you know what dish it is. Ended up getting some otoro to-go and oh man, it’s ruined all other cuts and tuna dishes for me. EBESU is a must try if you appreciate good Japanese food!

This restaurant might be the best of any I’ve ever been to in my life. Certainly the best sushi. The tuna was so fresh and everything just melted in your mouth. The tuna tartare with basil sauce was something I’ve never even heard of but wow you have to try it. The only thing better than that was the A5 wagyu. I can’t even describe how good it is. If you’ve never had it, it’s worth the price to try it. The only thing we didn’t care for was the sauce for The fried chicken appetizer we got. The chicken was perfectly fried in tempura batter and so flavorful. The sauce was a lemony creamy something I don’t know, but it just wasn’t for us. We got a side of eel sauce for it instead and that was perfect. The service was absolutely excellent and every person in the restaurant clearly cares about your experience and does an outstanding job. Very classy and upscale restaurant. This will be my absolute must come back to place in Dallas when we visit!!

What a treat 😋 We enjoyed the sashimi plate and everything we had. Good and traditional Japaneses meals are always enjoyable. Our server Laura was very attentive, too.

A Hidden Gem in Historic Plano: EBESU Redefines Japanese Fine Dining Tucked away in the charming historic district of Plano, EBESU is not just a Japanese restaurant—it’s an experience. Every element, from the architecture to the pacing of the meal, reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence. The sashimi rivals—and in many ways surpasses—Nobu. Each cut is immaculately fresh, sliced with precision, and presented with the kind of quiet confidence that only comes from a kitchen that knows exactly what it’s doing. This isn’t theatrical dining. It’s restrained, refined, and deeply respectful of the craft. What elevates EBESU even further is its extraordinary attention to detail. From the temperature of the ceramic dishes to the seasonal garnishes that arrive without announcement, everything is deliberate. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is careless. Service is top of its game—elegant, intuitive, and seamlessly attentive without being overbearing. The staff move like clockwork, yet still manage to offer genuine warmth and insight into the menu. If you’re looking for a place that honors tradition while quietly pushing the standard forward, EBESU is it. A masterclass in Japanese cuisine and hospitality.

Yelp
We made a reservation for our anniversary on a Saturday night at 6pm. This is our second time here celebrating an occasion and definitely still very impressed. It's an intimate but upscale feel with excellent and fresh food. The servers are very kind and attentive and enhance the overall experience. Definitely recommend the ebesu course, we did the signature last time and the 4-course this time, and both have great variety and quality. Standouts for us are (1) hamachi crudo with soft yellowtail and a perfect pairing of jalapeño and light citrus sauce (2) robata assortment with flavorful fresh fish, chicken, asparagus, and corn (3) croissant pudding that's warm buttery soft paired with vanilla ice cream (5) bara-chirashi with generous fresh cuts of yellowtail and tuna (we asked to sub out salmon) with sesame seeds, cucumber, tamago. If you love these specific cuts of fish I would actually recommend the chirashi over the nigiri assortment due to the volume. Otherwise the nigiri is a nice alternative with a variety of fish pieces. Overall a 10/10 and loved celebrating here! Order - crunchy toro roll $20 (only item don't rec) - pomepolitan drink $8 ebesu 4-course $62 ea 1st course - hamachi crudo - baby back pork rib 2nd course - robata assortment 3rd course - nigiri assortment - bara-chirashi dessert of the day - croissant pudding - chocolate cake - cheesecake on the house!

Yelp
It had been a while since my last visit to Ebesu, so I chose it for my birthday dinner, hoping for a great experience. Sadly, it turned out to be a major disappointment. I used to really enjoy this place, but the service this time was shockingly bad. Our waitress took our order and then vanished. We didn't see her again until about an hour and half later when she returned -- just to drop off the check. Throughout the night, we had our waters refilled once at the very end. The whole table sat through the dinner with empty water glasses for pretty much the entire time. We ordered a number of dishes. We started with the karaage, potatoes, and deluxe salmon roll. The karaage was a letdown -- the batter was slightly burnt and fell off with each bite. On the plus side, the potatoes and salmon roll were pretty good. The truffle mayo served with the potatoes was especially tasty. Our waiter told us we could request more if we liked -- which we did -- but he forgot to bring it. Next came the tsukemen and Buri Shabu, and unfortunately, both were underwhelming. The tsukemen broth, which I normally love, was unbalanced with an overpowering taste of sake (?) and soy sauce. It didn't taste anything like how I remembered it. The Buri Shabu's broth was incredibly salty, although the yellowtail itself was cooked well and had decent flavor. The real issue was that the dipping sauce -- an essential part of the dish -- didn't arrive until we were down to our final slice of yellowtail, a full 25 minutes after it was served. Strangely, none of the food was brought by our original waitress. A different server handled most of the food delivery and made repeated mistakes throughout the night. To top it all off, someone at our table ordered the bacon scallops appetizer, which never arrived. It wasn't on the final bill, so it seems it was completely forgotten. At the end of the meal, we asked for a to-go box for our leftover yellowtail collar. The waiter kindly offered to pack it in the back and include ponzu sauce, but when we got it back, the ponzu was missing too. Overall, while the staff was polite, the number of mistakes and lack of attentiveness ruined what should have been a special occasion.

Yelp
I picked this Sushi restaurant because I drive by it in a Saturday night and from the door it seemed like it was hopping. Because of the price range I assumed it was high end and a swanky place. Your disappointment, none of that was true but it was my assumption and not the fault of the restaurant. The ambiance is nothing special. The sushi rolls we had were just alright but the service was great by Nancy. It was our Anniversary so they gave us an anniversary dessert, which happened to be one of the more delicious cheesecakes I've had in a very long time. We did very much enjoy that. However, I got dressed up when I could have easily walked in with a pair of shredded Jean shorts to sushi that I don't write home about. We give this place a 4 star because it was our expectation that was off, not the restaurant. But we will not return, there are far better places to go for sushi.

Yelp
Solid Japanese restaurant with a variety of food including sushi & sashimi. The inside is casual yet slightly upscale which makes it appropriate for various occasions. Good service. Lots of cocktail options as well. I got the fancier Nigiri assortment. Their sushi wasn't as great as other sushi-dedicated restaurants but pretty solid. If you're in the area and looking for a solid Japanese restaurant I would recommend EBESU but if you're looking for sushi only I wouldn't.

Yelp
This has been one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant and some of the best sushi ever! For a signature roll, I ordered the Yuzu Hama Roll. It combines yellowtail, serrano peppers, and a truffle vinaigrette for a perfect balance of flavors. Absolutely incredible. I also had the tako, maguro, and suzuki nigiri. Every piece was exceptionally fresh, with beautiful presentation and attention to detail. The quality here is top-notch. My favorite is the crunchy Eel tempura roll, it's a must !!! The service was impeccable by everyone especially by Ryan our server. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I'm so so so happy we chanced upon this place. Thank you for topping off a wonderful day.

Yelp
An unfortunate side-effect of landing on Yelp's "Top 100 US Restaurants" list is that the bar is set very high. The experience started by me getting an email the day before that my reservation had been cancelled after having just recently confirmed it via text. I was told it was "because I told them I was sick". That was three weeks earlier on an entirely separate reservation; I intentionally did not just modify the date on the initial reservation in order to try to avoid confusion like this. Fortunately I checked my email before heading there since that was the only way I was notified. It's always a plus for me (extra stars) when ethnic restaurants feel exceptionally authentic (e.g. Tatsu). Seeing a few "non-Japanese / Asian" workers, including behind the sushi bar, did not take away any stars, but also didn't earn them any extras. Decided on the "Ebesu Signature Course Dinner". At $79.20 after a 20% "happy hour discount" it looked like a great value! Through the first (hamachi crudo), second (sashimi petite), third (Robata assortment) and even fourth (A5 Wagyu on hot rock) courses, I was still feeling like this would be a place deserving a return visit. The entree (fifth course) you'd expect to be a highlight or at least equal in quality to the others. It was not. Partially due to me receiving Negi-Toro Tekka Don when I was certain I ordered Bara-Chirashi Don--I would never order anything that said it contained "ground fatty tuna". While I probably could have made a bigger deal of that and gotten a replacement, I saw the chirashi and it looked more like a poke bowl with small cubes of fish. So I stuck with what I was given which ended up being the worse experience of the night... not only because I'm not a fan of ground raw fish, but it also had a stringy gristle-like texture between that and the blue fin tuna pieces. The entree dropped this from a 4-star experience down to 3 when I was expecting 5-stars due to being part of Yelp's Top 100. I cannot envision ever returning.

Yelp
I had an omakase with a friend and Ebesu and it was honestly 10/10! I really appreciated that it wasn't just nigiri or sashimi but with a most of poke, roasted balls(?), corn as well as dessert. I haven't had anything from their regular menu but I highly recommend having omakase because it's also always fun to be right by the chefs and watch them work their magic. Service was reasonably quick though we didn't feel rushed and the over all vibe was chill. Highly recommend and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I had dinner at EBESU with my family this past weekend and had a great meal. We shared a lot of dishes: homemade gyoza (chicken, pork, yuzu kosho, ponzu); crispy baby river crabs (a special that night); Baby Back Pork Ribs (hoisin bbq sauce); Hamachi Toro sashimi; pork curry noodles (we chose soba); black code miso yaki (grilled miso marinated black cod); sweet yellow corn (with soy butter); mixed mushroom (with teriyaki sauce); a mushroom Don/rice bowl; Unagi sashimi; and tamago sashimi. Everything was delicious, classic but well executed. We also shared a bottle of sake (they had a lot of options to choose from). The ambiance and service are top-notch. We had a private room with a pocket door entrance, and our servers were wonderful and helpful and so friendly. Overall, a very good meal, one I'd be happy to repeat.

Yelp
This was a highly anticipated visit due to the fact that it was featured on Yelp's 100 Places to Eat nationally. This place is a small Yelp upscale sushi and robata experience that features excellent, attentive service as well as fresh and tasty options. We started off with Peach Martini mocktails that were tasty although a little too sweet for my personal preference. We ordered an appetizer of the Hamachi Crudo, Fried Brussel Sprouts, and the Fried Spicy Mayo Prawns. The Hamachi Crudo was excellent featuring very fresh yellowtail with notes of citrus and spicy flavors. The Brussels sprouts were highlighted by the walnuts. The prawns reminded me of dynamite shrimp but 3 prawns for the price of $15 is asking a lot. One of the entrees that we got was the Black Cod Miso Yaki. I personally wasn't a fan but my wife really enjoyed it. I personally think that Nobu has the better black cod miso. We also got a few of the signature rolls. My absolute favorite roll was the Deluxe Salmon Roll. The fresh, smoky, subtly crispy marriage of all the ingredients really made this one of my more enjoyable bites of the night. We also got the Yuzu Hama Roll and the Crunchy Eel Tempura but they couldn't hold a candle compared to the Deluxe Salmon Roll. We also got a couple of Nigiri options with the Unagi and the Aburi Chu-Toro. Those bites were absolutely delightful. We had a couple of a desserts to end the night with the Matcha Tiramisu and a cheesecake that was given to us for birthday celebrations. I've been reading high praise for the tiramisu but let me tell you that the absolute star was that Matcha Cheesecake. It was served slightly warm but that was what made it one of the better Asian desserts I've ever had. I would come back again just for this cheesecake. I was extremely happy with my experience. There was very minimal wait time in between dishes and everything came out so fast. The servers were highly attentive. This is a smaller location in downtown Plano so I highly recommend making a reservation on their website. Parking could get tricky in downtown Plano but luckily we got there early enough to secure a close spot. Give yourself time to park before arriving for your reservation. This restaurant absolutely deserves its place on the Yelp 100. If you were ever hoping to go to Nobu or Uchi, this is a very comparable location and the prices are better. I personally like Uchi the best out of the 3 but Ebesu deserves its flowers.

Yelp
This review is a bit delayed as we visited Ebesu back in November for our anniversary celebration, but I couldn't not write a review for this place as it was such a fantastic experience! My fiance and I both went for the regular Ebesu course which is a 4 course dinner consisting of an appetizer, a robata assortment, a main entree, and a dessert. Everything we had was so delicious and so flavorful -- in particular, all of the raw fish (from the hamachi crudo to the nigiri assortment and bara-chirashi don) was very fresh, and the robata assortment was also cooked perfectly. Once we finished our first 3 courses (aka before dessert), we decided to get the A5 wagyu on hot rock just so we could try it out. It was so much fun getting to cook the wagyu ourselves, and they also provided a few different sauces / condiments including smoked soy sauce, truffle ponzu, kizami wasabi, and garlic chips. I loved all of the flavor combinations! Finally, for dessert, both of us opted for the croissant pudding and to our delight, the staff brought out an extra cheesecake dessert for our anniversary! This was such a phenomenal way to end our meal. Oh, and the desserts were spectacular, especially that warm croissant pudding paired with ice cream :)

Yelp
Trendy atmosphere, not too loud. Our 7pm reservation was busy but not crowded. Workers are very friendly and our server, Emily, was so sweet! All of the food was incredibly fresh and had such a distinctive high quality to it. Our favorites were the Tuna Flatbread, A5 Wagyu, and the sashimi, which was SO soft and buttery. additionally, we had a birthday with us, and they gave us a cheesecake and candle! Everyone was so helpful and attentive. We tried both the regular and EBESU Signature Course and honestly, it was all worth the money for the quality it came with. This was such an enjoyable night for our family and if you'd like to try a flavorful, fresh, unique menu, this place is the way to go.

Yelp
EBESU Robata & Sushi is hands down the best sushi I've had in Plano and easily in my top three for all of DFW. I've been to plenty of sushi spots across the area, but nothing compares to the crunchy rolls here. I had the crunchy spicy yellowtail and crunchy spicy tuna rolls, and they were on another level. It's not even close. For a signature roll, I went with the Yuzu Hama Roll. It features yellowtail, serrano peppers, and a truffle vinaigrette that ties everything together perfectly. Truly amazing. I also ordered the tako, maguro, and suzuki nigiri. Each piece was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You can tell the quality of the fish is a priority here. The vibe was warm and traditional, with a welcoming atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a sushi night. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday evening, but the staff handled it seamlessly. My waitress, Laura, was perfectly attentive and friendly, and Tomo, who I believe is the manager, was just as fantastic. If you're serious about sushi, EBESU is a must visit. It's the kind of place you'll want to keep coming back to.

Yelp
EBESU Robata & Sushi is an upscale Japanese restaurant tucked away in the historic section of Plano. The ambiance is cozy & romantic, with limited seating - a reservation is highly recommended (see photos). They also had beautiful pottery, and as you might expect - the service was impeccable. I ordered the EBESU Signature Course which I shared with my wife who also ordered a few other things. They had a House Cold Brewed Macha Genmaicha which she really enjoyed along with the Home Made Gyoza and Baby Back Pork Ribs - all of which excellent in different ways (the Gyoza was some of the best I have tried). We started our Signature Course with the Hamachi Crudo - each bite had a little kick to it that was a really nice combination I had the Sashimi plate to myself (the wife is not a fan) - very high quality. We shared the Robata plate - grilled fish, chicken & corn on skewers. We made very short work of them. Then came the A5 Wagyu on Hot Rock- it was fun to roast the thinly sliced wagyu with the garlic chips and the sauces - it was fantastic (I am running out if superlatives here). I ended with the ground blue fin tuna on rice - it was just the thing to finish things off. My wife had the poached pear for dessert - it looked like it came out of a cook book. She was a big fan. EBESU Robata & Sushi is a must visit if you like Japanese food.

Yelp
Incredible place. I have a weird allergy and they were super on top of it. Ryan was a great server and I enjoyed every single thing I tried. I also love that some of their cocktail program is low ABV. Really impressed by this place and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
EBESU Robata & Sushi is a true gem. Every dish that came out was a work of art, crafted with such attention to detail it's clear the chefs don't leave anything to chance. The ambience is warm and elevated, striking the perfect balance between modern and inviting. Our server Emily made the entire experience even better. She was attentive, kind, and so knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We loved everything about this place. The sushi was amazing in the environment/service was phenomenal. I can't wait to return again.

Yelp
We got a private room (seats 10) and it felt so special! The rolls (volcano and tempura) were really good! Appetizers: edamame and chicken karaage and shrimp tempura tasted good too. Hamachi crudo was the best. Got the yellowtail sashimi and it was just ok so I would get the rolls instead. Service was fast and great. Cute ambience and plano downtown is lively over the weekends! Check it out!

Yelp
I went for the Omakase experience. Sat at the bar right in front of the sushi chefs. They are super talented. Every bite was delicious. My waitress was very attentive and personable. Upscale vibes. 5/5

Yelp
This is one of the very best restaurants that Dallas has to offer! We came here on Valentines weekend, which is typically notorious for pre fixed menus and bad service. But, we had an excellent dinner here and the service was fantastic!! The entire menu was available and the special Valentines menu was put together beautifully. We ordered a couple dishes off the special menu, several off the Robata (yellowtail collar and hanger steak are our favorites), and the wagu steak cooked on the stone table side (absolutely delicious!). We really enjoyed our meal, even the leftovers the next day. You can tell they take a lot of pride is not only the food but delivering an excellent dining experience. In the countless times we've been here before, never have we had a bad meal or experience, we will be back soon!
google avatar

Kalli L.

Yelp
The food for the most part was fine and the atmosphere was nice. The service was also fine. But we ordered a special that didn't seem edible. The baby river crabs, although pretty, were terrible and I couldn't get the taste of shell out of my mouth for the rest of the evening. For the price, in my opinion, the food did not compare to Uchiko. The sushi was fine, but again for the price didn't seem very special. We won't be returning.
google avatar

Holly N.

Yelp
Came here for a double date and I would say that this is the best sushi place in the area! I wish the prices were a little bit nicer but I understand that that's just the area. Service was great and place was clean. It was really packed and a bit too crowded for my liking. I'd come back if someone asked me to go!

Yelp
I saw EBESU on Yelp's top 100 restaurants and immediately made a reservation to try it out. They did not disappoint! Party of 3 visited on a Friday evening at 5:15pm. Service was fantastic, vibes were immaculate, and food was delicious. We had the following rolls, and I highly recommend each one! Crunchy Shrimp Mayo Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Rainbow Roll (not pictured), Volcano Box (Oshizushi), New Deluxe Spicy Tuna Roll, Yuzu Hama Roll. The Yuzu Hama was my favorite. So fresh and tasty. We also had the tuna flatbread as an appetizer and it was great. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Food and service were amazing! Attended as part of the $99 Signature Experience for Restaurant Week and it did not disappoint! Enjoyed alll the dishes esp their homemade ice cream! We got to try a bit of everything since my bf and I ordered different items. 1st Course Items: Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup - light flavor and very creamy as the name indicates. I'm not a huge fan of tomatos in general but I enjoyed this soup. Gorgonzola Cheese Salad - not a huge fan of blue cheese but everything else was great. Dressing was very light and tasteful and the oranges were sweet. The veggies were fresh 2nd Course Item: Sashimi Petite - each piece was carefully cut and tasted very fresh! Came with Tuna, Salmon and Yellowtail 3rd Course Items: Pan - Seared Hokkaido Scallop- again, very fresh and paired well with the lobster sauce Pan-Seared Seabass- enjoyed the pumpkin puree that came with it. The lemon thyme sauce added a bit of tartness to this dish. My bf thought it was a bit too sour for him but I enjoyed it, especially when trying it all at once Fourth Course: A5 Wagyu on Hot Rock: there were 4 pieces of meat per person and came with 4 different sauces to try with. I enjoyed the meat with the truffle sauce! Entrees Bara-Chirashi Don: so much in this dish! I couldn't finish it and took it home so that I have room for dessert. Fish was fresh and enjoyed the tobiko, seasoned mushrooms and the other items Unagi Don - my boyfriend really liked this dish, we both are fans of Unagi. Sauce wasn't too sweet and the eel was fresh Dessert: Hoji Tea Panna Cotta: hoji flavor was strong! Really enjoyed this dish Homemade Ice Cream: reallly enjoyed this dice cream! Mixed berries with cream cheese and there was like crispy oats in it that made a difference.

Yelp
Parking: Some street parking but more parking available in the parking lots. Interior: Small, cozy and clean interior. I would suggest making a reservation. Service: Very attentive. Food: My favorite was the Chu-Toro Medium Fatty Tuna Nigiri! It's like butter and just melts in your mouth! The Deluxe Chirashi Don was great - but I feel like the rice was just okay and nothing to write home about. The matcha tiramisu was definitely an excellent dessert option! Drinks: The hot sake paired nicely with my meal! Overall: I would definitely come back to try out other items on their menu! Two thumbs up from me! :)

Yelp
Came here for a girls nice and have to say the happy hour menu is worth every penny. I'm not even sure how much was included but we were stuffed after we were done. The sushi is fresh and the food is prepared well. The restaurant is quiet and well lit, and the service is great! Do yourself a favor and order the set. The dessert was amazing and save room for the sushi bowl. That alone is worth the $$ and super yummy.

Yelp
Upscale izakaya! Great for date night and bonenkai ( year end party). Food is lovely. Chef is friendly and service is impeccable. RSVP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Yelp
I felt like I was back in Japan eating at EBESU. The quality of the food and the attention to detail was so spot on. We had the Yuzu Shochu cocktails to start, they're very light and refreshing. My friend and I split the smaller 4 course menu together and it was definitely enough food for 2 people. We also split the nigiri assortment. The fatty tuna bowl was the star of the show to me. I'm already planning my next visit back here!

Yelp
Love everything about this place. It's cozy and intimate, the sushi is so fresh. Service is always on spot. Drinks are amazing, I love the sake sangria and the lychee martini.

Yelp
We've been coming to Ebesu for many years now. Something about the people and the place makes me feel very welcoming and I love how it reminds me a bit of Japan. Food here is always top notch and fresh. We certainly always get their nigiri. Everything from uni, ikura to toro and salmon. But besides sushi, we also enjoy the pork jowl (if you haven't tried it before, do get it) and the rei-shabu salad. The other must item is the noodles. We get the Negi-buta and swap the noodle for ramen noodles. Just writing this makes me want to go back. Don't sleep on this one, truly one of our favorite Japanese resturants in Dallas.

Ezequiel ..

Yelp
I love this place! So close to my place and the food is always exceptional! Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW! The waitstaff is great and the environment is perfect for a date night or a casual night out!

Yelp
I went here looking for sushi. I wound up having their sautéed mushrooms, the Poke Don Bowl, and grilled calamari. So delicious! My waitress was very sweet and nice. She made great recommendations. The decor was nice, comfortable and set up well. I was able to get pictures of everything but the poke bowl. I started eating that before I remembered to take a picture. It was spiced just right.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Amazing sushi! Our favorite was the Yuzu Yama Roll - it had a light flavor with a slight spice from the jalapeño - and the Madai sashimi. We also ordered the Matcha Tiramisu which had very good presentation & was very delicious! The service was very fast & everyone was so friendly. The servers also had very good recommendations and know the menu. The ambiance was very good & relaxing! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow Ebesu Robata has the best chirashi bowl in DFW. All the vibrant colors and the quality of fish you get is amazing. You have to get the sliced kurobuta pork jowl and tuna sampler!! Amazing dishes to start with and they both just melt in your mouth. I would recommend to make a reservation because this place can get packed. Super chill spot with dim lighting for ambiance. Staff is super friendly. The only thing is that there is limited parking. Must try spot!!

Yelp
We go here often with my family just for fun or to celebrate happenings in our life. Last time we went it was to celebrate my stepdad getting a job. Service is wonderful and quick even during dinner rush. Server Emily knows us already and always greets us with a smile. Food is incredible and never disappoints. We love the garlic okra, tempura ramen, and crunchy eel roll which are definitely my top recommendations. Ambience is so nice and relaxing. We love the private rooms, definitely try and reserve one for your first visit. Love this place so much and will continue to visit as often as we can.

Yelp
The food and mock drinks Yuzu fizz is surprisingly tasty. Highly recommended on cocktails of matcha old fashion. The service is great, the ambiance is a bit noisy because there are big table, and people are a bit drunk and loquacious. The interior is mixed with post farm modern barn door with post industrial ceilings and Addison light is harmoniously well puts together.

Yelp
Granddaughter Foodie and I decided to celebrate her 14th birthday over dinner at EBESU Robata & Sushi a few weeks ago ... WOW!! Every dish was delicious: unique and layered complimentary flavors, nice vibe, front row seats at the sushi bar; Ryan is an excellent Server --and she (we ) loved the sweet surprise. I'm planning to go back for the multi-course dinner!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and the food has been great every time! The sushi is super fresh and almost melts in your mouth like butter. I went during happy hour and our server Sean was phenomenal. Made us feel welcomed and recommended us a great appetizers. The restaurant itself felt very tranquil and upscale. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
First time here, food is pretty good and service is exceptional! Great ambiance and place to go for a work dinner or date, the interior is a lot bigger and nicer than it appears! We ordered the mushroom robata, chicken Kari-kari-age, deluxe salmon roll, white snow crab roll, and matcha tiramisu for dessert. The mushroom robata is the only ones that comes out with a charcoal grill, and is roast mushrooms in a sweet sauce which we liked. The karaage was pretty good, crunchy and juicy on the inside with a yuzu lemon sauce. The deluxe salmon roll was really good, kind of like an elevated California roll, but I really loved the torched salmon on top. It added that extra flavor I enjoyed! The white snow crab roll was also really good, with a combination of flavors and textures that made it really unique. There was some crunchy seasoning on top to contrast with the unagi The matcha tiramisu was beautiful, and the flavor was strong but not too sweet. It tasted more like a matcha pudding than a tiramisu, but it was still really good. Service was awesome!! Our waiter was super nice and helpful to warn about any allergies, etc. Great place to get food and unique Japanese food at a reasonable price!

Yelp
We went last night for restaurant week and had a fabulous experience. Highly recommend ordering one of their flights (whiskey or sake) and taking advantage of the restaurant week deals. The miso cod was incredible and melted in my mouth. The seabass was also a stand out. We also really loved the ice cream and the birthday cheesecake they brought out. Great little spot! Our server was so knowledageable and guided us well!

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant! The flavors make sense and the ambiance is on point. If I had any criticism it'd be some dishes weren't as good eg the uni rice and the sushi can't really compare to Asia freshness. The coursed menu was on point

Yelp
Came in for restaurant week, my friend and I got the $99 course menu which was worth it in my opinion. I was definitely full even before deciding to order some extra goodies off the regular menu. The restaurant was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it made it cozy and the service was quick and attentive. For the food, since I did get a set menu, I can only judge it for what it was and it did make me want to come back to try more one day. The sushi was definitely fresh and the cooked items were tasty. (The extra goodies we got were worth it also) Overall it was a good experience from start to finish, would recommend if you are in the area!

Yelp
A good spot for when you're looking for a slightly more upscale than your average sushi dining experience. Service was fast and friendly, and the drinks are good.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday with some girlfriends and was disappointed given all the great reviews they had. Drinks were good -- we started with some cocktails and then had wine. Service was great so no complaints there either. Let's move on to food -- started with yellowtail hamachi which is always a safe choice and that was great. Also took the servers recommendation on one of their popular rolls with truffle and jalapenos and that was the highlight of the night. Then we got the chicken karage which is basically fried chicken (servers recommendation) and it was so greasy and so heavy. Then got some mushrooms (also server recommendation) and they bring it out in this fancy contraption but I don't know why because it's just mushrooms that are sooooooo sweet. Got a White Snow roll which was weird because I didn't like the fact that it mixed together cold fish and also something that was seared so it was a weird mix of hot and cold. Also got a pork belly which was super underwhelming. The pork belly itself wasn't very flavorful but they pair it with a spicy Japanese plum paste which is barely spicy and nothing but sweet. I wasn't very satisfied so I got an order of salmon nigiri to give myself another safe bet and that was good. I had high hopes but unfortunately it fell flat.

Yelp
This was our first time here. We came for restaurant week. I have to say the food was on point, and the place was welcoming. I recommend making a reservation. The tomato soup was nice and creamy and full of flavor; loved it. I also had the pan-seared sea bass, which was so good. I loved the crispness of the skin - it was nice and salty, and the fish soaked up all the flavor of the lemon. The nigiri assortment was good, but nothing special. For dessert, I had the tea panna cotta, which was not too sweet, and I liked that. Overall, I enjoyed this location and would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu.

Yelp
Have eaten all over Japan, this was simply amazing food. The blue fin tuna and poke was especially wonderful. One of the few places worth the money.

Yelp
So yummy!! My husband and I love coming here for anniversary and other special occasions. The food here is fresh and even if there's something not right, they always try and improve it. They took away my old dish and remade another one without delay. Just try everything, you won't be disappointed! I don't have a favorite because they're all of my favorites!

Yelp
Great sushi and appetizers. Excellent customer service, especially when making small talk and suggestions. We went on a Sunday night, so the atmosphere was tranquil and demure.

Yelp
Honesty I don't think there's a bad thing on the menu. The prices are decent, especially happy hour. Me and my partner both got the signature course. We also got the Tako Wasa when we got there which was soooooo good. I had the mango lychee martini (9/10) cranberry cooler (7/10) and a yuzu spritzer (8/10). For my course I had the prawn which are sooooo yummy, he had the pork shumai, also amazing, the sauces that come with it compliment it so well. Our server, Ryan, was very knowledgeable and warm. The ambiance was also perfect. This place is always popping even when they open.
