Intimate, stylish spot offering New American dishes with imaginative ingredients & combinations
"Eden Hill only seats 24 people. And eating there is a great excuse to wear those ritzy-looking pair of shoes that makes your ankles look amazing. The food feels snazzy, but nothing on the menu takes itself too seriously—like an overturned bowl of foie gras cake batter with a spatula shoved inside. It’s excellent for a big special occasion." - aimee rizzo
"This tiny restaurant in Queen Anne that only seats 24 people is where you should wear that pair of expensive shoes that makes your calves look really toned. Eden Hill is a great spot for a special occasion that serves two different tasting menus - a $160 per person option, and an abbreviated option for $85 per person. You’ll eat things like cod with sunchokes, wagyu short rib, pasta with squid bolognese, and foie gras in both appetizer and dessert forms." - aimee rizzo
"This tiny restaurant in Queen Anne is where you should absolutely wear a pair of expensive-but-painful shoes. It works well for a special occasion that’s a breeze to get on the books, like if you forgot to plan dinner for a friend’s highly specific anniversary occasion. There’s a tasting menu that changes nightly, but if that feels too constricting, the a la carte lineup is full of exciting things like a crispy “candy bar” loaded with pig’s head, beef tongue pastrami tartines, and foie gras-based desserts. All that’s left to do is commemorate your pal’s 10th year of being a PCC member. " - aimee rizzo
"Eden Hill is the kind of place where you’ll step inside and encounter a sea of couples. We’re not sure if they’re all romantically involved, but we do know that this Queen Anne spot works wonders for a special two-person meal. The menu is full of dishes like green garlic funnel cake with uni, cauliflower chilaquiles with lime cream and manchego, and foie gras-infused cake batter with sprinkles served in an overturned mixing bowl with the spatula still inside. If you’re still riding the high of having found a babysitter for the night, you could order the tasting menu, which is a surprise each evening (including the price). "Upper Queen Anne is now home to this family-friendly restaurant from chef Maximillian Petty and wife Jennifer. Conceived as a casual counterpart to their nearby fine dining destination Eden Hill Restaurant, it features some kid-friendly options like mac and cheese with aged cheddar. But adult palates are well-served, too — and the dry-aged “Big Max” burger may just grow into a franchise on its own." - Eater Staff
