"Edwins is a brilliant, low-key gem of a restaurant, with great food and a cosy ambience that hits the right spots. The discrete entrance is hidden up a flight of stairs by Borough station, and inside, there’s a townhouse-meets-country manor vibe going on. As for food, you’ll find some very tasty and slightly fancy bistro-style dishes on the menu, and great drinks to match - get the braised lamb shank and fish stew. They make a good negroni, and it’s also great for groups and low-key meals for when you want something nice without trying too hard." - David Paw

I went for my birthday dinner on 3/15/25. The food was excellent!!! The atmosphere was comfortable. The lighting was perfect. phenomenal experience!. I had the salmon and bananas foster for dessert. Everything was so delicious. The staff was polite and attentive , they are still learning and this location is new, That’s why I only gave service 4 STARZ but other than that this was the best birthday dinner I’ve ever had! in a long time. The experience was excellent. I hope Edwin’s on Cedar is here to stay!

Fabulous New Year's Eve dinner. Delicious pear and goat cheese salad followed by an entree of scallops with squash in a corn sauce. Beignets to remember good times in New Orleans completed the meal. My husband had the grouper wrapped in crispy potatoes with green beans followed by Chocolate Pots de Crème for dessert. Servers are always attentive, and the food is aways outstanding.

Dined for Mother’s Day 2025. Nothing short of an exceptional buffet experience. Every food station was well presented. Food was hot and quickly prepared. Was so much to choose from. Chef Brandon visited each dining room and photo ops were granted! Wait staff were very attentive. Comp valet parking. All mothers received a mini bottle of champagne as a parting gift. Resos recommended.

Google
Father's Day brunch: we were cradled in the hands of the best wait staff, cooks, and all ancillary staff. A truly magical culinary trip provided by those doing God's work. These are the reasons This establishment and their satellite facilities are on my rotation list. Expertly trained in all aspects of hospitality. My stomach and heart were full and satisfied. My heart felt thanks.

Google
Staff was friendly and polite. Server, she seemed over her head. Thought she went home she was gone so long. Had lobster bisque, very good flavor, but extremely salty, couldn't finish it. Hubby ate it. Garden salad was just lettuce. Short ribs were descent, nothing great. There for saxophone discussion group. Needed better sound system. Nice idea, hope it improves. Underwhelmed by experience. Decor was nice however.

Let me tell you, the bacon was SPECTACULAR. We could decide so we got 2 dishes to share for the table, Strawberry Shortcake French Toast and the Lemon Bluberry Pancakes. Bothe delicious and definitely big enough for sharing. There were 5 of us and we had leftovers. The Corned Beef Hash, Omlette and Basic Breakfast were all very good. Will definitely be back.

Disappointed after hearing so much about this place. I was at a birthday brunch, and there were 10 of us. The service was inconsistent, although we were there at 1pm and they "close" at 2pm Sundays. My order was the last to arrive, and I waited a long time for it without any server noticing (the others at the other end had finished their food already). As a result, my potatoes were overcooked and hard. The Eggs Benedict was just OK, and the muffin was not toasted. Eggs were perfectly poached, though. Others seemed to enjoy their food but no raves. The Gravalax was missing things and was a sparse plate. I think they were having issues because the manager came over at the end and asked the host how everything was, but they didn't come to my end of the table. They were super accommodating about separate checks, and added an automatic service charge of 20 percent (bravo to them). They were also great about cutting an outside birthday cake. Valet park in front, or lot in the back. I might try them again, but I won't rush back.

Yelp
I was quite shocked at the taste of the food. Absolutely delicious! I couldn't believe how delicious every course was especially because we came on Valentine's Day and they were busy. If they do another tasting course, we definitely want to come back because it not only had a great variety of dishes but also fantastic value. My favorite was the lobster croquette with the perfect tempura crunch and the lamb was so juicy and the sauce was flavorful but not overly salty. Amazing restaurant and I love the cause.

Yelp
This place seems a worthy addition to the Edwin's empire. I've had brunch here a few times, and it's been pretty great. The one time I came for dinner, the service seemed rough around the edges. To give some examples, the food took a really long time, we eventually asked for bread, which was good and came with some good butter. But we had to ask again for olive oil, though a member of our party had previously asked for "no dairy" when ordering. The martini I ordered was good, but seemed oddly austere served with no garnish. That has to seem like the pettiest complaint (okay, I've been around enough to know it's not the _most_ petty, still), I'm not trying to overstate it. There just seemed to be a lot of stuff like that. The steak was very tasty when it arrived, at least.

Yelp
Edwins Too is a cute little park spot opened up by Edwins across the street in Shaker Square. I came here for a Sunday morning brunch, and we were able to make a reservation about 30 minutes before hand for a party of two without any difficulty. We started out with the apple crisp mimosa, which was the season mimosa. I overall thought this was pretty underwhelming and it tasted just like apple cider and champagne together, which was oddly a sour combination. I ordered the croque Madame, and even though I specified that I wanted the one with the egg, my order was put in as the croque monsieur. Luckily, the kitchen was happy to rectify my order once I mentioned it to them. Overall, I thought my food was pretty standard, nothing too special. My friend had the omelette, which was delicious but nothing to write home about. Overall, the food was pretty underwhelming, and the service was just all right. I would've appreciated if my waiter would have been able to give us some recommendations, but he didn't seem too familiar with the menu.

Yelp
great service. nice room. don't understand why spinach and alcohol is in every dish needs to improve dessert selection.

Yelp
I made a reservation on OpenTable and came here for brunch on the weekend. The decor is cute and very 'brunch-like'. I will say that the tables are quite cramped together though, especially for groups of two. Our server was polite, and checked in on us once. We had to ask to get our waters refilled (our server never came around, but I saw another server consistently going around refilling water without being asked) We also waited around 25-30 minutes after ordering to get our food even though the restaurant was less than half full. Regardless, the food did come out piping hot though, which was great. We checked out the menu prior to coming but it seems like the menu was a tad different from what's stated online. We ordered: +Herbed sausage and gravy biscuit: My boyfriend really enjoyed this. It was a massive portion and super heavy in my opinion (I'm not usually a gravy and biscuits kind of girl though) I thought the herb flavor was a tad strong. Large portion, my boyfriend couldn't even finish it. $14 +Brunch burger and fries: Super yummy- the sunny side up egg was cooked perfectly as you can see in my photo. I also really liked the tomato bacon jam, which complemented the patty and egg really well. The fries were super hot and well salted-huge helping of fries is always appreciated $18 Drinks: just okay in my opinion-prosecco/champagne is pretty strong if you're more into that +Peach Bellini: not well mixed, peach purée/syrup sank to the bottom and was super sweet at the bottom $9 +Mimosa: personally would've preferred a little more orange juice, could barely taste any orange flavor at all $8 Overall, it's so far my favorite brunch place in Cleveland. The portions are worth the price and the food came out hot. I need to try those house potatoes though, they looked real crispy! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came here for brunch and the food was very average. We had to wait over an hour for our food, with just our coffees. The servers were friendly and apologetic though.

Yelp
We dined at Edwin's for brunch. Outstanding food, service and the patio was wonderful. The owner stopped by our table to welcome us to the restaurant which was refreshing! Best brunch I've had in a long, long time!

Kristina M.

Yelp
Came here today for a ladies' brunch. I'm a longtime fan of Edwin's and was excited to share it with friends. The decor is warm and inviting. Families, groups of men friends, groups of ladies and couples were all enjoying the food and environment today. The hardest thing for us was figuring out what we'd try. We ordered several entrees and a variety of the sides. Most of the brunch sides come from the Edwin's butcher and bakery imprints. The big winners? Lemon soufflé pancakes Corn beef hash House made gravlax Butcher shop Turkey sausage patties Bakery buttermilk biscuit Also great coffee, HUGE portions and great price point. Can't wait to return. Will definitely have the gravlax again (not overly salty or smoky with bright notes of dill) and also do the "waffle of the week". This week's was with Orange curd and pomegranate. We were tempted today but had so many options that hard choices had to be made....

Yelp
I went for brunch with friends. Our reservation was for the time that they opened. We were informed they were out of coffee. That was pretty surprising but they managed to get some around 30-45 min into our meal. I had the croque madame and would not recommend it. The bread was dry toasted and lightly, had very little flavor and was cut so thick I found it hard to eat without deconstructing each bite. The bechamel was so bland and had a pasty texture. The potatoes were nicely crispy, though.

Yelp
We came for Valentines Day . We usually don't go out on holidays like this but they published a really interesting menu . Our evening was a great hit. Each element in the tasting menu was perfect( and we got the recipe for the carrot soup). The staff were , without a doubt, some of the most charming people we have met in a restaurant. And yes, it was a leisurely meal. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Yelp
Went here on a whim but I must say it was Great we sat outside my party of 12 for brunch. The shrimp and grits was excellent and the others loved the their lemon pancakes and my sis said the steak was good too. So I only gave a 4 star because I know they're learning how to serve but reaching over people food is not a great thing to do.

Rob R.

Yelp
I came here for brunch with family - sat outside on a beautiful Saturday morning. The food was good! The pancakes were refreshing. I really hope this place continues to thrive because I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Latoya E.

Yelp
Servers were very friendly. Decor was really nice warm and welcoming. Unfortunately I was only able to enjoy a peach Bellini which was delicious! The woman that was expediting the food, was not wearing gloves and we unfortunately saw her literally pick up food with her hands and place it on another plate without gloves. Maybe the next time, someone else will be working here and will give it another shot. So bummed...... I am. I visiting from out of town, and I heard great reviews

Yelp
Tonight was opening night and it was packed!!! We were at opening night at Edwins across the square as well! Wow! While Fire was a special place for us: every New Year's Eve before and after we were married has been spent there! Now we know where we're going this year!! We chose the 3 course tasting menu and it was fabulous! Artichoke first course was sublime. Paired with a nice champagne, (as we chose that option). Second course was Veal Tenderloin with rutabaga and mushrooms.......wow! Great Morgan pairing was delightful! I'm not a desert person but the "Mille Feuille Phylo and Orange Vanilla Pastry Cream" was tasty and full of complex textures. With too many restaurants closing due to COVID, it is heartening to see a new option emerge! The Edwins model is working and it's great to see it expanded and supported!!!

Derrick F.

Yelp
My daughter and I enjoyed breakfast at Edwins Too and the food was delicious. We bth dined on veggie omelettes with potatoes. Delicious! The service was top notch and I will dine here again. Brandon and team are amazing! Great mission and great food!

Yelp
I want to start by saying this review is not directed at our servers, they were so kind and apologetic for our experience. We unfortunately had a very bad time at Mother's Day brunch today. We made a reservation for a table of two at 1pm. When we arrived at 1 the entrance was completely packed with people standing around not knowing what was going on. The hostess said it doesn't matter if you have a reservation, people aren't leaving their tables and you'll get seated as soon as something's available. She kept telling people to step over to the bar area, which was tiny, and everyone was squished together. We tried to order coffee at the bar and the bartender was rude and seemed very annoyed that we asked for anything. After an hour of waiting for our table, it took another hour for our food to arrive and it was cold. We were starving at this point but we sent it back for a new plate. Our server was so nice and seemed so stressed. When I spoke to the manager she was unsympathetic and just kept blaming everything on people not leaving their tables. It seemed more like a kitchen issue to me. Between waiting two hours for average food, having it come out cold, and the attitudes from some of the employees, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Great night with friends out to dinner and live music. Drinks were fine, nice selection of beers on tap and full bar. Our meals were very good, prepared as requested. Highly recommend either steak dish or the salmon. While service is slow, remember these folks are learning and training. Worth a visit when they have live music, there is a music cover charge.

Yelp
Came for Saturday brunch with some friends and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous, the pictures don't do them justice! The service was great too, and they made sure we all got our drinks (the guardian cold brew was hidden away, but they provided us with regular updates and the wait was well worth it!). The drip coffee was a bit bitter for my taste, and tasted slightly burnt. But overall, no complaints from me! Will be coming again.

Yelp
As its sister restaurant Edwin's Leadership, Edwin's Too wins at life before you sit down. The mission of this institute is beyond amazing and if you can indulge in their wonderful food while helping their cause you'll be making this planet a tiny bit of a better place one action at a time. The setting is beautiful in Shaker Square and the food is delicious - we were there for a special event - the special Nazca Peruvian Gourmet Night - with great highlights of Peruvian food, but will be back for their regular fare and to continue supporting their cause. Cleveland also DESPERATELY needs more places with tasting menus and haute cuisine so I love the work Brandon has been doing in that regard as well, can't recommend this place enough!

George S.

Yelp
Great Service, great food and just an overall good vibe. Best brunch I've had in ages, and a Croque Monseur to remember. I heartily recommend this fine establishment and it's great staff.

Natalie S.

Yelp
Amazing food! Great service, as usual. Every course was a treat. The venison was to die for. We will definitely be back!

Siobhan L.

Yelp
Had a really nice time at Edwins Too for brunch. The food was very good. I enjoyed the Strawberry Pie French Toast and my sister had the Eggs Benedict, which she said had excellent flavor. Her eggs were cooked a little harder than she prefers, but she still very much enjoyed her meal. The service was great. The entire staff was friendly and we were pleasantly surprised when Brandon Chrostowski stopped by our table to check in with us. That was completely unexpected, and a very nice treat. We were also impressed with the acoustics of the space itself. There was so much activity going up around us and all of the tables around us were full, and yet we still were able to carry on a lovely conversation and had no trouble hearing each other. We will definitely return.

Lisa G.

Yelp
I had heard about Edwin's and their training programs on the local news. My friend and I had plans to eat at another nearby restaurant but they had a one hour wait so we decided to try Edwin's Too. We were seated immediately. I ordered the Shrimp and white cheddar grits. Delicious and full of flavor. She had the chosen and waffle special with spicy syrup, also excellent. They even treated us to a sample of their house made link sausage and turkey sausage. Service was excellent and friendly, prices were reasonable. Definitely going back again.

Ali S.

Yelp
Food was okay but chef went completely crazy and started throwing stuff and yelling and cursing everyone out. It was very uncomfortable. Everyone was on edge and surprised because the kitchen is wide open. Unacceptable behavior during Sunday brunch. Shrimp and grits were good, sausage gravy had WAY too much sage.

John L.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect, knew it was affiliated with the teaching establishments in the area. That can be hit or miss. Though I was severely underdressed compared to the rest of the people in there, I had a fantastic time and a better meal. Wait staff was attentive and polite and the food was perfection, exactly what I needed my brunch to be.

Patricia L.

Yelp
As we've come to know, all of the locations in the Edwin's family will be of the highest quality. Edwin's Too is no exception! The service is impeccable and the food well beyond what we could have hoped for in an exceptional brunch. Don't miss the Peach Bellini!

Dreem V.

Yelp
Service was terrible staff was very rude with the exception of one of the cooks. Bills were wrong and at first they did not want to correct them. Manager was extremely rude did not want to comp a dish that was sent back. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Food was terrible as well.

Christina R.

Yelp
We are repeat visitors to Edwins too for brunch and have previously been pleased, but today we were both disappointed. Having a reservation at 11:30 , we weren't served our meals until 12:05. I ordered the waffle with strawberries. There were only 6 squishy small strawberries on the whole waffle. I guess I expected fresh strawberries. My husband got the lemon pancakes which were overdone with a blueberry compote, which looked like pie filling. We will give it another chance but not for awhile.

Thornton C.

Yelp
Three of us went to dinner there. The food was delicious and great service. Not crowded at all or noisy. We could actually hear ourselves talk! In addition to a lovely dinner, we support the Edwin's concept of training people released from prison to be a productive member of society and to feel good about themselves. We'll be back and we definitely recommend it!

Brooke C.

Yelp
Wow, this was a BAD dinner experience, which I'm pained to say since Edwin's-Edwin's is my favorite restaurant in town and I love the mission of the organization. We came here for my birthday before going to the orchestra. I had waited too long to make a reservation at Edwin's, but was thrilled to see an opening at 6 at Edwin's Too. So the first part of our bad experience is partly my fault: we'd never been, the website is hard to navigate and provides almost no info, so when I finally found a menu it was (spoiler alert) not actually for Edwin's Too, but for Edwin's. So we booked unaware that there was a set menu and that for our night it was nothing I would actually want to spend $50 on. So that part is my bad, though honestly, the website should clearly state what the nature of the dinner experience is. What's inexcusable is the glacially slow service. Bear in mind that when we arrived at 6, there was one other party. I asked for a minute to consider my drink order . . . and no one came back for 15-20. Our first course arrived at about 6.45 (Cobb salad should not take that long when it's literally the only first course and we're one of two parties) and our steaks after 7. At this point we were getting worried. We informed our server that we had to leave by 7.30, so we'd take the check now and take our dessert to go. She was prompt with the check, but told us the dessert wasn't ready yet. That was fine . . . until it was 7.35 and we had to book it out of there without ever getting our dessert. No one seemed to notice or care that we were leaving without one of the courses we had paid for--I had wanted to have a quiet word with the hostess, but she wasn't at her station. In sum: in 90 minutes, the house could barely get us our two simple courses (salad and steak) and never got us our dessert. The food was well-prepared, but not worth $50 a person and I feel misled about the nature of the dining experience. We have a toddler and rarely get out, so I'm crushed to have wasted a nice meal out on food I would never have ordered--and not even to have gotten all that we paid for. I'll never return to Edwin's Too and right now feel pretty sour on Edwin's as well. Dining experience = 2 stars. 3 stars only because I feel partly responsible for my bad night out.

John L.

Yelp
Called ahead to ensure that it was okay and told no problem as long as I was there by 2 showed up 10 till and told kitchen was closed. When said I called ahead gave 2 options on the menu to choose from. They then made us so uncomfortable we left. One of the worst experiences I ever had

Monica C.

Yelp
I love Edwins and now I love Edwin's Too. The food is excellent and the staff are so attentive. Went for brunch and my friend and I were splitting a few items. We asked for just some small plates and our waiter said we can just split it for you which is exactly what they did. Everything was split up and presented beautifully. I love that this is a high-end restaurant without the prevention. My kind of place. Can't wait to try the prix fixe dinner.
