The Best Restaurants In Flushing

"Eight Jane Foods is a tiny stall with space for two or three people to stand near the register. There’s no printed menu, but you’re basically here for jianbing. Their version of the Chinese breakfast crepe is heavy on egg, and has a thin, crisp square of fried dough in the middle that adds a satisfying layer of crunch. The youtiao is also delicious, but you’ll need to come early if you want to score this coveted cruller, since they almost always run out. Bring cash, and plan to eat your food on the sidewalk." - carina finn koeppicus, kenny yang, neha talreja, bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick

Where to Eat in Flushing’s Chinatown

"It takes less than a minute for owner Jin Yuan to whip up a crackly eggy crepe inside her tiny family-run take-out window. She fills and folds each one with a number of fixings like freshly made baocui (cracker), youtiao (cruller), scallions, and thin slices of beef. Watching her make two at once with such precision is a feat to applaud — particularly when you realize this skill is what has sustained three generations of her family (from mother-in-law to her two kids). At $5 a pop, the jianbing makes for a lovely, multi-textured snack or breakfast that customers line up for throughout the day." - Caroline Shin

Google
Really liked this version of a Chinese classic breakfast food, the legendary Jian Bing煎饼. They include two eggs and go heavy on the crispy layer 脆饼 which made for a solid, handheld feast. The greens were nice and fresh but for me it needs more sauce and could use some pickled 榨菜 to make it more flavorful. Best I’ve had in U.S. though, so it’s definitely worth a stop in to try. Heads up, it’s takeout and cash only.

Google
This spot is consistently busy, so it's likely best to visit right when it opens or closer to closing time to avoid long waits—we waited over 30 minutes. When we arrived, there was already a crowd, and it remained just as busy when we passed by later in the day! It’s clearly a popular destination, especially known for their savory egg crepes. We shared a few among our group—one with beef and two with just egg. The beef version was our favorite, followed closely by the egg. The crepes have a wonderful texture, thanks to the crispy wonton chips inside. One suggestion we had was that the egg crepe might be even better with a dipping sauce or a bit of extra chili oil on the side. It’s already delicious, but a little added flavor could elevate it even more! Everything was light and perfect for a quick bite.

Google
I think this place is a little over hyped. It’s a small hole in the wall and the Jing bang is good but not the best like everyone is boasting. The base is made well and the crispy adds great texture but the sauce / toppings are not evenly distributed leaving some bites very bland. The staff is really friend and it’s cash only. At $6 it’s a very affordable and filling meal.

Google
This hole in a wall Chinese breakfast place is pure amazing! The jianbing is very good and authentic enough and fulfilling. And it only costs 5 bucks!! For only 5 bucks what can go wrong? Also ordered the 肉燕 soup which is also pretty good. Will definitely come back here for breakfast all the time if I’m in the flushing area!

Google
It’s a must try for something different. No frills place. I ordered the savory crepe (jianbing) and it was delightful and budget friendly. Their staff was nice. It may look intimidating with their menu only printed in Chinese but definitely worth going out of your comfort zone to try. Will be a return customer

Google
Highly recommend the jianbing! It’s fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. Just a heads up — make sure to bring cash, but they also accept Zelle if you forget.

Google
I used to grab jianbing here every morning during HS & college; affordable light breakfast but still filling. Currently visiting from out of state and the auntie is just as wonderful as ever. $6 during this egg shortage is really nice. Only thing is the flavor is now very lacking... not sure where the seasoning went.

Google
Delicious! Firstly, I don't speak mandarin, only some light canto/toiso, but I was able to order in English. They're very nice, friendly ladies. Secondly, the jianbing I've tried elsewhere was always underwhelming-- usually too eggy or floury, and soggy, which is gross. I never understood the appeal of jianbing until I had one from Eight Jane-- and now I get it. Their jianbing is perfectly savory and crispy, with the right balance of eggy goodness and seasoning. What a fab sandwich! It was only $5 bucks, which is a steal in NYC these days. I wish I had room for another one, but I'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Eight Jane had been on my list for probably at least a year. As someone who has rarely eaten eggs since elementary school (after eating eggs so often I started disliking them), the Jian Bing here makes me appreciate eggs. The eggs were cooked and flavored perfectly, complimented by the fresh taste of scallions. The crispiness and the crunchiness made for the perfect on-the-go street brunch/snack. Considering the amount of customers on a weekend, the line moved quickly. The order was also ready in about 15 minutes, not bad. This is very much an order-wait-go spot. There's only really room to stand in line and order, which makes sense, really.

Yelp
Eight Jane has been hyped up on social media and I can't believe it took me this long to try it. I used to get my jian bing from corner 28 and I loooved it from there but I had to try Eight Jane for its virality. It's a really small shop attached with barely any space inside. You can tell it's made my local aunties who are just pumping it out. There were 2 other customers when I came and they ordered multiple items to go, primarily the scallion pancakes and shao bings. I came for the jian bing and walked out with both the jian bing and a beef shao bing. The jian bing was made to order and simple, a Chinese crepe that had a slight chew to it and filled with the basics - crispy wafer, 2 eggs, and scallions, sauced with a sweet hoisin-like sauce and chili oil. It's definitely something that needs to be eaten fresh cause of the crispy wafer! I love when my food has a mix of different textures so this was great. The beef shao bing was somewhat made to order. They had premade shao bings already but they heated it up and sauced it similar to the jian bing before stuffing it with a generous amount of beef. The beef is the cold Chinese appetizer - beef shank, which I grew up eating so I liked it. The shao bing itself had a strong 5 spice flavor as well. It's on the drier side so it could use some more sauce. The outside is also coated in sesame seeds so it provides a nice nutty flavor. It's good for the price ($5 jian bing, $4 beef shao bing) and everything on the menu is basically $5 or less. The beef shao bing is definitely heavier but the jian bing is a great snack! I enjoyed it but it wasn't the best I've had.

Yelp
The best jian bing spot I've had in the US. Eight Jane serves a variety of breakfast options, but their most popular is the 煎饼果子 (jian bing guo zi), a classic Chinese breakfast street food originating from Tianjin. My order is always a jian bing ($5) with no cilantro, mild spice, and no additional toppings, though you can also choose to add protein such as beef and sausage. The jian bing is made to order and the staff are super friendly. Such a good deal for a delicious and hearty breakfast / snack!

Yelp
Eight Jane is a Flushing staple and worth trying. Quick service, cash only take out spot. There's usually a line outside but moves fairly quickly. After trying it again recently, it wasn't as good as before but maybe just a bad day. Probably wouldn't go out of the way to try again but solid spot.
google avatar

Yelp
So so delicious and such a classic in Flushing. Line is always decently long, with a 10-15 min wait every time I come but it's so worth it. I love the jian bing and I like to get it with beef. They are very generous with toppings and I always feel like there's stuff pouring out of my jian bing. Portion feels like a mini meal or a large snack. It's a bit hard to share with others (and I love eating my own hehe). Outside is thin pancake and inside has meat, scallions, cilantro (if you choose) and some crispy chip-like things to create varied texture. While most order in Chinese, they are also pretty decent at English. Menu is in Chinese though, so it's good to show pictures if you can't speak Chinese. They are very accommodating and will take time to explain.

Yelp
We ordered the jianbing (pancake) and youtiao (fried donuts) and both were solid! The jianbing is a steal at $5, and the youtiao at $2. There was no wait on the weekend and they make it fresh. With it being fresh it also was served really quickly!

Yelp
This place is a little hole in the wall with just enough room . The staff were very nice and welcoming . They encouraged my son to come see how the jainbing was being made . It was so flavorful and big they cut it in half and put one piece in each bag so it can be shared , the crunchy Wontons give the right enough texture
google avatar

Yelp
Heard a lot of good things about this spot AND since then, been stopping by whenever I'm in the area. I always get their jian bing which is a savory crepe made from eggs. I like getting one with you tiao. They can adjust the level of spice to your liking. The staff are friendly and polite. They churn out their orders fast!
google avatar

Julie G.

Yelp
We had the jianbing here as part of a food tour a month and a half ago and I'm still thinking of how good it was! Actually planning on going back this weekend for a quick fix.
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
It's good and cheap at $5 per jian bing. They are fast and preparing it and make it fresh in front of you. I thought that they were a tad dry for my taste, however, and just the cracker left me wanting something more savory. I would recommend getting one with meat in the future. However, solid spot to grab a quick fresh breakfast, authentically made. They don't have seating inside--counter cash order only but you can wait inside while they make it.
google avatar

Yelp
As part of any good Flushing food crawl, start off with a Taiwanese classic breakfast: jian bing. For $5, you get a traditional scallion pancake crepe with egg and wonton crisp. They even cut it in half, so great for sharing. You also get an option for spicy or not and cilantro or not, which I opted in for both. To be honest, it wasn't really spicy at all. I enjoyed the different textures, but the flavor was lacking entirely. Maybe adding meat would make it better, so spend the extra $2 for meat. Overall, I've had better jian bing, but this one is a good deal and still fun to eat. I say it's definitely worth checking out though.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
It's a literal hole in the wall but you know it's going to be worth it when you see people waiting outside in the freezing cold for it. For $5 you get a savory egg crepe and it's got everything you need in it - a soft crepe, a fried crunchy layer, and all the toppings that you choose to have. I usually opt for everything when they ask me for toppings and I always make it spicy. This is one of those street foods you have to eat fresh because everything can get very soggy very quickly but for $5, it is extremely filling.
google avatar

Yuna C.

Yelp
Just for $5, get a steaming hot egg crepe - the only choices you have to make is: 1) wonton cracker or yotya, 2) spicy or not spicy. We got the wonton cracker for an added crunch and went for the spicy - which was a good call as it was more flavorful, not predominantly spicy though.
google avatar

Alan N.

Yelp
Holy cow! This was delicious! I can't wait to come back!!! $8 for the Jianbing with beef. The lady that made mine was so sweet and kind. Delicious. Savory. Flavorful beef. Good luck from the spice. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
I have heard about this place a while ago. I wanted to try the jianbing so badly. I was really happy that I found this place. I ordered their jianbing (minus the greens) which is a Chinese crepe (wheat and grain) two eggs spread on top as crepe is cooking. Then they spread three savory/spicy sauces. Topped with scallion, cilantro plus three deep fried crackers then all of this is folded together. I also had to order their Chinese fried doughnut stick because it was a staple in my home growing up. The jianbing had a unique taste to it but it was warm and crunchy which was satisfying because I was hungry. The fried doughnut stick was so fresh, fluffy and chewy omg was so good. Everything was so reasonably priced, plus there were other items on their menu that I want to try.
google avatar

Harley M.

Yelp
$5 jian bing (salty breakfast crepe) was a great start to our Flushing food tour. You can get it with crispy wontons or fried dough (you tiao). Extra optional $2 for meat. It's a pretty big jian bing and would be filling for 1 person. It's all made to order so your food comes out piping hot - it took about 5 minutes. It's just a food stand so there's nowhere to sit - it is street food after all! It's not the best jian bing I've ever had, but it was tasty and satisfied the craving. I would definitely add this place to your list!
google avatar

Colleen M.

Yelp
A $5 Jianbing that comes out hot and crispy? I'll take it. I wish this was in Manhattan so I could grab it for lunches more often. We also grabbed a $3 bowl of red bean/herbal soup (in Vietnamese it's like a che but I don't know the Chinese word) and it tasted homemade in the best way possible. A solid casual food stop. The queue can be long, even if you don't see a line, so you make have some wait time before it's ready.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Never had a Chinese egg crepe before so decided to give it a go- it was a cool process to watch them make it in front of the counter. They spread the crepe mix on the hot plate and then a thin layer of egg. Add the black sauce, scallions, crunchy wontons, and there you go. Was asked if we wanted spicy and I said yes. Honestly I wanted to like it more than I did. The spicy sauce helped out, but on the whole it did not have a lot of flavor. I ended up pulling one of the sheets of wonton out of it because one sheet was plenty crunch for me. For $5 cash I was glad to try it, but would try one from elsewhere in the neighborhood next time.

Yelp
Jianbings at gentrified prices have been popping up in NYC as early as 2015 but Eight Jane Food is the real deal and keeps it at an affordable price ($5). I've noticed that along with White Bear, Eight Jane Foods is one of the most popular choices for cheap Flushing eats on TikTok. There is always a line, and they do speak English so do not be afraid of a language barrier. Everyone comes for a freshly made jianbing, which is PIPING hot off the griddle so beware. On my most recent visit, I also picked up a sesame flatbread ($1.25) but I found it a little too heavy for my preference. It is well made though, and features layers and layers of thin laminated dough with a nutty sesame filling in between. The jianbings have such a wonderful texture, with the soft egg and crepe contrasting with the crunchy wonton crackers in the middle. I like to order it with all the fixings, as the chili oil paste is not very spicy. The scallions and cilantro bring an element of freshness to the jianbings but I would absolutely love some pork floss for some added sweetness too. I would also recommend eating this on the same day, if not fresh outside the storefront, as the crepe will eventually soften and lose a lot of its texture over time. It's incredibly filling and I love sharing this with someone because there are always tons of other small bites to discover in Flushing.
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
I read all the reviews on their Jiang Bing and to be honest, I have had better. Grabbed some of these on my way to a movie and thought they were just meh. Not enough scallions in my opinion and the one with the beef was a bit dry for my liking.
google avatar

Louise F.

Yelp
Like a street vendor in china, all the tenderness, crisp, and fragrance you want. I like the 油条more than the crunchy filling
google avatar

Lina L.

Yelp
The aunties that run this place are super hospitable and remember my order each time while I stand there cluelessly. I tried their egg jianbing (#2) this time and it was by far superior than the beef jiabing (#1) I tried last time. While the beef jiabing lacked flavor, the jianbing was delicious, crispy, and filling. The sauce helped to give it a subtle umami that isn't too overwhelming. I also love cilantro and green onions so the taste was perfection. $5 for the portion is generous. I've never had jianbing before but this was delicious yet simple. They converted me and have my support. Highly recommend their egg jianbing. Avoid their beef jiabing through -- it's the same price but the portion is smaller and tastes mediocre. Saw someone add beef into their egg jianbing for a more savory taste. Probably will try that addition next time :)
google avatar

Ylleana G.

Yelp
D E L I C I O U S. It's such a great snack while walking around. The staff were so sweet and efficient. The store itself is quite small, 2 customers at a time can fit comfortably inside, but it's also more of a street food spot
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
I've seen this place hyped up a lot online, so was pretty excited to give it a try. Their ordering system is a bit odd; you kinda just jam into the store, with no clear indication of a line, tell your order, and wait outside with no number indicator, just hoping that no one else ordered the exact same thing as you. Unbelievable prices of course! We got the egg jiang bin (which is not called jiang bin on their menu, but I'm forgetting the Chinese characters) with crispy dough. Came out piping hot, but I felt like it was severely lacking in flavor. Not sure if they just didn't add enough bean paste to our order, but really didn't taste like much. The outer layer was also a bit too thick, so it hid a lot of the crispiness from the crispy dough inside. We've had other jian bings in Flushing from random wall stores, and it was honestly better. Wouldn't recommend specifically going to this spot!
google avatar

Angela H.

Yelp
The expectations were met here. The jianbing is only $5 and is a good thick size. It had a nice crunch and was filling although I wish there was a little more sauce added. There is a wait as it's pretty busy but not too bad.
google avatar

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
The staff was super nice and helpful even with a language barrier. I got the Jian Bing with the fried wonton filling. It was definitely more egg forward than other Jian Bings I've had but very filling and tasty especially considering it was $5 and could be split amongst two people pretty generously. I'd have ordered it with the beef filling inside if my Chinese was a little stronger. Also not sure if they didn't believe me when I said I like things spicy but the chili sauce they used was very mild. I'd skip the Youtiao unless I saw them pulling them out the fryer that exact moment it was definitely the weakest item I ordered.
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
Solid place to get JianBing. Glad they're getting a lot of press and they're definitely one of the prominent options for a great cheap eat in Flushing. What you want out of a jianbing is that nice preserved crunch interiorly and a robust structure to the wrap itself, with hearty egg and scallion flavor dispersed evenly throughout. The sauce inside provides a nice sharp umami and it is essentially authentic jianbing. Have I had better? Yes, in China which is a bit unfair. Also got a beef scallion roll and this had really nice bunch of fresh lettuce inside, savory beef and tender chewy dough. Not bad at all. Overall, solid spot, would return, and def add to your Food Crawl list. Great introduction to JianBing. I'm hopeful to return soon to try some of their other menu items but keeping my expectations tempered for the non jianbing items.
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
I stopped by here to try the scallion pancake crepe while checking out some of the recommended eats in Flushing. At $5, it's a good price, but I found it to be quite dry and not as flavorful.
google avatar

Benjamin Q.

Yelp
Keepin it real out here on Main St This spot really found a sweet spot imo for how to operate a mom and pop shop in Flushing. Prices are reasonable, preps pretty quick for something that need to be made fresh each time. Props to the ladies doing 10 jobs at once cooking, prepping, taking orders etc and still maintain a super friendly tone for all customers. The meat and non meat, 2 most popular option makes it easy for ordering too. Just good vibes around this place whenever we visit
google avatar

Rick A.

Yelp
Finally got to try one of these famous pancake thingies. Let me say, It did not disappoint, it really was flavorful. Such a great breakfast item. Crunchy, spicy etc & hot. Which was great cause it was freezing outside. The women there were nice and fast on orders & prep, Great service.

Yelp
Excited to experience Eight Jane, one of downtown Flushing's great hole in the wall eats. You order from a narrow front corridor that can barely hold 3 people with the food prepared right in front of you. For those of us not fluent in Chinese, the biggest challenge is determining what is on Eight Jane's menu since most of the pictured items attached to the storefront and on the website have no English translations. One of the items reviews had mentioned was their Jian Bang Crepe Sandwich. While I've had Chinese crepes at several other places, none I recall were described as Jian Bang, so decided to go for this savory crepe - which includes at least scallion, cilantro, and appeared to be a type of bean paste. Preparation was quick and Eight Jane's Jian Bang was big and flavorful - well worth the $5 price. Of course, it's purely take out, so you'll have to eat it on the go or grab a table in one of the many nearby food courts. That being said, I look forward to exploring Eight Jane's other items, of course once I figure out what they are. Hey... experienced Eight Jane fans! Please send me your recos!!! (Thanks in advance.)
google avatar

Diana H.

Yelp
I visited Eight Jane while on a Chinatown food crawl with some friends and this was our first stop. We ordered the jianbing. I had never tasted anything like this before. We ordered it spicy and it has a nice kick and I really enjoyed the crunch in the middle. Easy to order and they were very friendly.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
Tried the $5 Chinese crepe and it was delish! Such a good deal for $5 and very filling as well. They make everything fresh, so it was piping hot when we got it. This is a staple for flushing and such a good option when you want something affordable but also delish!
google avatar

Winnie C.

Yelp
No English, don't really know what to do. She wants me to choose between 2 things inside the pancake in Chinese, I really don't understand at all, she is very patient with me, and got my $5 Jianbing guozi or "deep-fried dough sticks rolled in a thin pancake". That's my first time trying this popular Chinese street food originating in Tianjin. Very good experience to try this interesting spicy pancake for breakfast. I hope they will have English menu and explain what it is and how to order next time
google avatar

Ricky K.

Yelp
My first meal in the Flushing and Eight Jane is a great place to grab a quick breakfast meal. The place is super small and they usually can make two crepes at a time. It's a grab-and-go place and definitely bring some cash as well. My friend and I got the egg crepe and it's $5 each. What a steal amirite??? And you literally get two egg crepes, that have wonton crisps, chili oil, meat, and a few more toppings that go with it. It was such a warm, hearty little crepe-wich and since it was so cold outside, the heat from the crepe definitely helps ease some of the cold January winter in NYC. A great meal for just $5, and this place is well worth the trip to the Flushing! It's so good and a great meal to treat yourself for a quick breakfast or lunch! It's cash only so remember to bring that with you.
google avatar

April L.

Yelp
For $5 a jianbing crepe, you really cannot find a better deal in NYC. In Manhattan spots such as jianbing man, the same jianbing will likely cost you at least $12 minimum. It is a small no frills, homey shop. You place your order through the window and you wait on the side until you hear your order number being called. Is it the best crepe you will ever taste? No, for that I would have to go to china. But for $5, it is definitely filling. Taste would be 3.5/4 stars Price would be 5 stars And you're supporting a small business so 5 stars for that They sell more than just jianbing if you want to check out the other items.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this & I finally did today! There was a long line but the food came out fast. I ordered the jianbing and it was ok. It was crunchy, savory, cilantro-ish. I was happy to try it but it wasn't anything special. The jianbing was ginormous so I ate half of it and got full.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
This street facing food stall offers no seating, but gives you a front row view of your items being made which will probably be Jian Bing because that is the prominent item folks usually order. I am a fan of the straight forward Jian Bing - the crepe contains scallion eggs and a crispy layer along with a schmeer (what is the Chinese equivalent of this term?) of dark paste that provides the spice. These hefty folded snacks or breakfast is something I would get on the regular if I happened to commute through Flushing, but unfortunately my visits to downtown Flushing are focused where I hit places like a laser so I don't get them too often. Yeah yeah, I can pick one up to reheat the next day (and I have) but these are better when they are fresh. Long live Eight Jane!
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Not quite sure what to add that hasn't already been said, but I'll throw my support behind Eight Jane having one of the best jian biangs in town! Don't be intimidated by the small shop and lack of clear English menu (at least that I saw). Just tell them you want a jian biang and they'll help you out. For $5, it's a steal. Not only is it delicious, but it's huge! Definitely could be shared by 2 people or be a complete meal for 1. Since it's take out only, you will need to find somewhere to go either sit/stand and eat it. Well worth the effort.
google avatar

Ariana M.

Yelp
Eight Jane is an excellent spot for a quick snack or bfast. The place is small, making it perfect for a grab-and-go meal. Make sure to bring cash as they don't accept cards but i do think they accept venmo. My friend and I tried the egg crepe with squid and it was sososo good. There is 2 fully stuffed crepes with the order. Each crepe is loaded with wonton crisps, chili oil, meat, and other toppings, making it a satisfying and hearty treat. The warmth of the crepe was very comforting. Whether for a quick breakfast or lunch, Eight Jane delivers deliciousness at an affordable price. Just remember to bring cash along for your visit!

Yelp
I finally had enough stomach space to try their JianBing after watching massive YouTube videos and recommendations. When I arrived at 4pm on a weekday, I was so excited. The service is also very quick and kind. The JianBing is extremely fresh and comes out piping hot. I stood outside to eat because there aren't any seatings. I was honestly sadden that the flavor isn't my preference. It reminds me of a thin crispy egg omelette with scallions and cilantro and some sauce. It was definitely fun to try this popular snack.

Yelp
Worth the hype. I thought it was going to be an omelette type of wonton. It exceeded my expectations. We added beef which I highly recommend as it add Smokey taste. It's a crepe with crispy wonton and Smokey beef.. insanely good $7 cash. Women are super nice and just call out your number when it's ready.

Yelp
~ Jian Bing 煎餅果子 ~ The jian bing is freshly made in front you, it was really fun to observe how they made the whole thing! The crepe is fried with 2 eggs, filled with delicious brown sauce that's savoury, sweet with a hint of spicy. Also added on top are spring onion, cilantro, and a large sheet of a incredibly crispy cracker (薄脆), which is the soul of the jian bing, giving it a really nice crunch and further enhances the flavour. This jian bing is huge! So it's divided into 2 halves and only costing $5!!! This is such a steal! I left feeling happy and satisfied. Will I be back? Yes!!! Very authentic jian bing, super delicious and damn cheap! Next time I travel 1.5 hrs to flushing def gonna get it again!

Yelp
This is the reason why Queens is the best borough in NYC and NYC is the best city in the world! You can find fresh JianBing at 7 AM in the morning and hot Chinese donuts. Cash only, but it's cheap. It's authentic, and service is friendly. It's takeout only, and I think they accept Chinese delivery (maybe Panda Delivery or something that like).

Yelp
very nice staff, good prices and a very lowkey storefront, you could almost miss it if you weren't looking. the prices are extremely reasonable for the portions they give, i was so full from just one pancake i was surprised at how large it was but unfortunately it didn't taste like much? i asked for spicy as well but i couldn't taste it at all :( i hope this was just a one off but i would say maybe ask for extra sauce or something.

Yelp
Stopped in two weekends in a row and got the jian bing. Hot, crispy, and super filling. It was a very satisfying meal while wandering around Flushing. I would've liked more sauce on it though.

Yelp
My friend recommended this spot, and it truly did not disappoint! I've never tried a egg crepe like this one before, it was hot and flavorful. The outside was super crispy and flaky and you can see the layer of egg on it, and the inside was packed with flavors. This little shop is located in flushing and you can see them make the crepe fresh in front of you.

Yelp
* Jian Bing 煎餅果子 Every jian bing is freshly made by the auntie at the open kitchen. It was enjoyable to watch her spreading the crepe batter, breaking eggs and wiping spicy sauce onto the crepes. As every piece is made to order, it was piping hot when we got it lol it almost burnt our fingers and tongues. Folded with a thin and chewy crepe wrappers, the jian bing is smothered with two eggs, cilantro, scallions, and pieces of crispy deep-fried crackers. It was cut into two halves and placed in separate paper sleeves, so I felt like paying $5 for two pieces of stuffed jianbings was unbelievably cheap. High recommend getting a jian bing with a cup of soy bean milk to kick start your morning. Cash only. Menu is written in Chinese, so better look over the reviews online and plan what do you wanna get if you can't read Chinese.
