She fills and folds each one with a number of fixings like freshly made baocui (cracker), youtiao (cruller), scallions, and thin slices of beef. Watching her make two at once with such precision is a feat to applaud — particularly when you realize this skill is what has sustained three generations of her family (from mother-in-law to her two kids).
