This place used to be an old favorite of mine but it has truly lost its magic.
We were greeted by the bartender, and upon telling him that we weren't going to order drinks (it was noon), he said something rude and walked away. There is NO service here, just a bartender and the bartender won't talk to you about the food. You order on your phone or an iPad, and the experience is clunky. There is nowhere to specify dietary restrictions and the way they label them on the menu is super confusing. I had a hard time figuring out which vegan meats were gluten free, so I just had to go for the nachos with no meat to be safe. It also automatically adds a tip, which seems silly since there are no servers.
My food was brought to my table by someone in the kitchen who walked away while I was in the middle of asking about the allergens. So yeah, no service at all. I've gotten these nachos tons of times in the past but they have gotten lackluster. Not a lot of flavor, and they were served in to go containers that dissolved within about 5 minutes of being placed on the table.
This place really just needs waitstaff, dishes, and a few great sauces, which I feel like almost every restaurant should be required to have. It was kind of a shocking experience and I definitely won't dine in here again, it seems to be made for takeout only, even though it has a great location and plenty of tables that are ripe for people watching.
