This local spot is the best place to co.e eat breakfast. Me and the hubs never leave San Antonio without stopping here! It's a little run down, and parking is hit or miss. However, the service and food make it all worth it! They have homemade tortillas!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I recommend giving this gem a try.

Just 5 minutes away from downtown. You will find El Milagrito cafe off of hwy 281and N. St.Mary's. We came on a Sunday morning after church. No line no waiting compared to the downtown area, and best of all no downtown prices! Food as always is great here. we had huevos rancheros and pork chop and huevos rancheros and barbacoa. We had never tried the barbacoa here, and although it is not authentic cheek meat, It is deliciously seasoned roast chuck meat. Service is always great, and of course, the prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant is a true gem! The atmosphere is clean and cozy, with a welcoming charm that makes you feel right at home. You can tell locals have been coming here for years, forming friendships with the servers, which adds to the warm and inviting feel. The chilaquiles were absolutely incredible—some of the best I’ve ever had—and they alone made my trip to San Antonio worth it. Looking forward to visiting again.

Small seat-yourself Mexican restaurant with a wide variety of options including taco plates, enchiladas, breakfast tacos, and lunch specials. Good variety of lunch options and the prices make me forget about inflation (great prices for lunch specials). Drinks include canned soda, Aguas frescas, coffee and tea. Chips and warm salsa are brought to the table, and the good stuff- spicy green and orange salsa brought in squeeze bottles. We recommend the enchiladas and Jamaica agua fresca. Friendly and timely service. Comfy, cozy, and casual atmosphere. We parked along the street as we didn’t see a parking lot around. Another thing to point out is that there are regulars here who enjoy the staff and are comfortable here which we loved to see.

Delicious texmex breakfast and lunch. Great value, great food. Huevos rancheros were perfectly prepared and accompanied by an addon of crispy bacon. The flour tortillas were excellent! The cheese enchilada plate came with tasty beans and savory rice to better enjoy the ample sauce atop the enchiladas. Space was clean and well organized and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Wow stopped by a spot I frequented when I lived in San Antonio years ago. These folks still know how to rock TexMex. It's hard to find parking but well worth the effort . Big thick homemade flour tortillas and the huevos Rancheros with barbacoa plate is so big I didn't even come close to finishing my meal. So, yes I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. The food is great and the staff is super nice.

My husband and I plus three kids visited for lunch and loved it so much we went back the next day for breakfast. He had tacos, I had the mole enchiladas. For breakfast we both had huevos rancheros with him having asada and me barbacoa. Everything was delicious, authentic and freshly made (including the tortillas). The best part was the value, lots of food for a reasonable price! My husband was in love. Highly recommend!
