Boston Fall Restaurant Opening Guide 2019 - Eater Boston

"The new restaurant will exist in the space once occupied by the bygone Moody’s taqueria, El Rincon de Moody’s, and it will be decorated with murals by artist Sam Malpass. It will open daily at 5:00 p.m. 456 Moody St., Waltham. Anticipated opening timeline: Early September 2019." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Critic Declares ‘Split Verdict’ on a Popular Group’s New Taqueria-and-Barbecue-Joint - Eater Boston

"Chef Joshua Smith’s take on Mexican fare soars on the back of impeccable ingredients, starting with complimentary chips and a bright, smooth tomato salsa. The barbecue portion doesn't quite live up to expectations with inedibly hard or overly fatty smoked brisket and dreadfully mushy pork ribs. However, the tacos are amazing, particularly the barbacoa with slow-cooked Wagyu beef, a smooth, tangy-hot morita sauce, and radishes." - Dana Hatic

Excellent tacos, very fresh, hot & delicious. They are not huge, nor cheap. But you get what you pay for. I'd definitely go again.

Awesome food, awesome service. The brisket was mighty tasty, but the fat seemed to be a tad bit excessive.

Ridiculously good tacos. I love the chorizo tacos especially. The chips and guacamole are spectacular too, crunchy, spicy and warm.

A great addition. Tacos are very good. Good beer selection too.

The tacos were very good. The portion size of 3 tacos per person is just right. Wish the beans were Mexican flavored and not the beans they serve with their BBQ that have meat in them. The most disappointing thing is the margaritas. Extremely small size for the price. My small glass was filled full with ice and there was very little margarita in it.

I've only ever tried the BBQ here, but it's quite good. I've been told by others the tocos are good. The pulled pork has a strong smokey flavor, that I have not encountered elsewhere. You order at the cashier's, and your order will be brought to your table. Not a much seating, so not great for a large group. Casual atmosphere. Paper towels rolls mounted on the walls by tables are a great touch.

We've been waiting a long time for this place to open, and it didn't disappoint. We split some tacos and the burnt ends sandwich, and every bite was delicious. Similar to Moody's, you pay for quality. It will end up being very popular, so I'm curious how they'll handle success when the line is long, given the setup.

Guys your food is good. but i ordered 2 orders build your own tacos got home and you forgot something the tacos when i spend 40 bucks on an order of tacos they really aren't tacos without the shells. You had one job put the food in the bag .
