Eleni's Bakery Jamaica

Eleni's is a true gem! The aroma of freshly baked goods greets you instantly, and their selection is incredible—flaky croissants, fresh sourdough bread, and delicious pastries. The staff is warm, attentive, and passionate, making every visit a delight. Whether for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this place is a must-visit!

Not often do I give 5 star reviews across the board but the experience here and the ambiance the staff and even the owner and her husband deserve a 5 star review the food was great, this is a French Canadian owned bakery in Jamaica they removed the walls so you can see how the food is being prepared in the back and the owner seems to be always present on the weekend. The staff is what made this place great and then quality of the food is unmatched even by North American standards. This place is a must go.

Eleni's while one of the more expensive spots is consistently amazing. Everything I've had there is so good every time. Serving sizes are also larger than at places that serve similar things like Cafe Blue and Cafe Dolce. Easily worth the money.

I go there for the sourdough bread. Freshly backed sourdough in the mornings, and they are great!! The servers... meh!! But this is Jamaica, we are known for very bad customer service and I don't know if it will get better. Maybe training will help, who knows. I will recommend their bread and pastry all day, everyday.

Incredible croissant 🥐 . I am a connoisseur and eat many all around the world. It’s crusty, buttery and soft. The akee with veggies was so yummy too. Great lattes and coffee. They have indoor and outdoor seating too. They make their own sourdough and the owner is so nice! High quality ingredients used and can’t wait to revisit.

The staff was not welcoming at all. I had an issue with my food and tried to talk with one server and she was unpleasant and callous.. She never cared to ask if I needed to change anything, she just kept saying I should have said it to the cashier when placing the order. For the entire time we were there, not one person checked on our table. The other servers checked on the two tables beside us and offered water to the persons there. They didn't even bring napkins with our meals until we asked. We thought of ordering other items to go but decided to leave. I love the freshly baked products (I stopped by the day before and bought a dozen croissants) but didn't feel welcomed and thus don't think my money should be spent there.

So I found this little gem of a bakery and have enjoyed the meals here. The service staff are great as well. The two star service rating is based on the absolutely RIDICULOUS - a charge of $200 for butter. They tried to upsell the justification- it’s Anchor butter! Puh -leeze. This is a major FAIL on the part of the owner. So be warned- your bread does not come with an expectation of butter. See photo of the butter madness.

4 of us went here on Saturday morning for breakfast. The interior has a cool rustic vibe. The food DELICIOUS. Staff was friendly and inside is air conditioned.
