The Best Barbecue Restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Ellis Island’s barbecue joint is one of the best budget-friendly dining options around. The ribs are the move here — tender but not falling apart, coated in a sticky root beer barbecue sauce with just a touch of char. The menu keeps it simple: ribs and barbecue chicken. A half-rack paired with half a chicken costs $17.99 with a free player’s card. All entrées come with sides that are decent, if unremarkable. But soda lovers shouldn’t miss the housemade root beer — thick, creamy, and worth the trip on its own." - Janna Karel

Ellis Island BBQ - Review - Southeast - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"It’s almost time to leave for your flight, so you have two options: spend the remainder of your budget on the penny slots or leave Vegas with barbecue stains on your shirt. Go with the second choice and the stains will be worth it if they’re from this spot in the back of the Ellis Island Hotel and Casino. They only have chicken and baby back ribs, but both are basically perfect, and if you aren’t in a rush, go to the casino’s help desk because you can save $3 on your meal if you sign up for a player’s card. Which means you now have enough money for those penny slots - two birds with one stone." - Edward Thompson

Great atmosphere is you enjoy sports The service was great! Everyone was super friendly and prompt Unfortunately, the bbq Meats were not cooked well. Very dry brisket; and the sausages were cut prior to being put on the grill, so they too lost all their moisture. Oddly, the opposite was true about the brussel sprouts, they were under cooked. Go figure... We did ask our server about it, who admitted some of their chefs are better than others. So I guess it's hit or miss at this place

Google
I need to " *" this with. The facility is getting an upgrade, but I do not think it's going to affect the restaurant area. So be prepared, it it very run down. Looks to be straight out of a '70 steak hoint movie seen. Let's start with the Caesar salad, it was great, perfect amount of flavor! I ordered a "1962" cocktail, which is just a very watered down Old fashioned. And I mean VERY watered down! And I had the ribs, they tasted great but then I started pulling out hairs... 3 in total, to be exact. My wife tried to convince me that they were animal hairs, and when I pointed it out to the waitress, her stance is that they were from the sauce brush. Regardless, my meal was ruined. I don't care where they actually came from, NO MEAL SHOULD EVER HAVE HAIR IN IT!!!!!

Google
One of my favorite BBQ places. The food comes out quickly after order (from the BBQ menu at least). It's lively atmosphere since the restaurant is in the middle of the casino and nearby other restaurants (where they do karaoke and contests). The energy is casual and can get loud at times. The BBQ sauce is tasty. You can get it on the side. The garlic bread is toasted but not hard. Our server was sweet and attentive. Always topped off our sodas. Keep in mind that you can't split checks. One check per table. The BBQ menu is pretty affordable for the portion sizes. Def recommend.

Google
This place was a little confusing to get to, they had construction so understandable.. The atmosphere wasn't bad, the waitress was very kind and once we ordered our food it was out in 5 min. The food was OK, it was decent for the price and a lot to eat, it was like a Luby's quality. The ribs were definitely cheap, but coming from TX no BBQ could ever compare.

Google
Very good! We had a 25 minute wait at 7 PM on a Tuesday night. They DO take reservations and would encourage that. They will tell you how long you have to wait and then you can go to the casino and they'll text you when your table is ready. The food was good, reasonably priced andthe service was quick. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Five stars.

Google
They serve a very generous portion (actually huge portion) of very yummy BBQ. I don't think it's meant for 1 person only. But if you share it with someone else, they do charge you an extra $5. So go there with an empty stomach or when you are really hungry that you can eat a horse. The BBQ chicken was only OK, so I recommend only get the baby back rib.

Google
I had diarrhoea four times next day, and my stomach and belly hurt all night. I always wanted to throw up since I ate the ribs, very uncomfortable, I guess it was food poisoning. The rib was very dry and not fresh, I don’t know how long they storage ribs before or after cooking. It’s in renovation, so we even couldn’t find a way into the restaurant. Very bad atmosphere.

Google
GREAT GREAT little place just off the strip. Steak baked potatoes, green beans, and nice size salad $12.99. Get off the strip and feed the smaller, more fun establishment

Yelp
This is a real meal deal!! BBQ CHICKEN AND RIBS with sides! Thats the menu! It is a must GO for most of our guests. Comes with sides and great service. Reasonably priced, better with a players card discount. Food is basically all prepared so it's a fast deliver to table. Highly recommend and ENJOY.

Yelp
All that's available are various combinations of only three items on the menu: a half BBQ chicken, a half and full rack of ribs. I had food envy as most everyone seated around me had ordered giant plates of food but I was practical and opted for the half rack of ribs. I am a huge eater but it was more than I could finish. Ribs were delicious, tender, and basted with that sweet bbq sauce that caramelized nicely on the grill. Meats are served with baked beans, two cobs of corn, a slice of foccacia, and a cup of coleslaw which was my least favorite part of the meal. I usually love coleslaw but no big deal, I definitely wasn't here for the vegetables! Hand your server your active Players Club card for a $3 discount on an already inexpensive dinner! This place is a total winner. Yum!

Yelp
YUM....did I mention YUM !!! Got here when they opened one day and was immediately seated. The location is inside the Ellis island casino toward the rear. There are plenty slots to play while waiting for it to open or waiting to be seated. The menu is quite basic but exactly what you would want from a bbq restaurant. Now onto the food. Sorry I didn't take pics because it looked so good I could not wait to eat it. The full rack of ribs just fell off the bone. The sauce was delicious along with the beans and Cole slaw which accompanied the plate. My bbq chicken was flavorful and tender. Our pitcher of beer was ice cold. Yes this place is inside a casino but wow the food is truly amazing. I look forward to returning. See you again soon !!!

Yelp
Love love love. I grew up going to this restaurant with my parents and was absolutely devastated the day they changed it to 21+. I had to wait about 8 years to make my return to the Ellis island bbq. Once I turned 21, it was one of my first stops. Best ribs in town for sure, they have definitely earned that honor. At a great price too, under $20 for a full rack of ribs and plenty of sides

Joy S.

Yelp
Friendly service, cute little place inside the casino. Free parking! It's a bit of a chore to get to due to F1 construction but DAMN well worth it! We ordered the half rack ribs and it came with slaw, baked beans, corn and bread. And MAN those ribs are the BEST I've had yet! Yum! fall off the bone and the sauce was amazing! So was the beans! I asked if they sell the sauce, but no. it's a secret! A definite repeat visit for all our upcoming Vegas visit. Only bad part was I didn't have cell service so I couldn't check in on yelp.
google avatar

Nicholas A.

Yelp
I forgot to take a picture of the food. But, the Ribs were good. If you can deal with the F1 track, the ribs should be well worth it. I intended to come for the pulled pork but it wasn't on the menu. Might be good to call if you're craving something specific. Parking was easy to find. Just be careful of the pedestrians when pulling in or out. And don't forget to say thank you if some one lets you merge while exiting.

Yelp
My regular trip to Ellis Island bbq. We got a exceptional waitress this time, I'm not saying the others were any worse but this newer waitress was exceptionally attentive and very good. I can't say any different from my past times that I have been here. The food has always been consistently great for a rib joint just off the strip. The only difference is the portions have gotten smaller in time, not that anyone would have noticed but I'm just aware that has happened. The ribs used to be bigger, the corn was larger, little things that go unnoticed by others but I certainly can tell and the price has gone up ever so slightly. Still a wonderful place to visit if you like good food at a decent price and close to the strip.
google avatar

Yelp
The Food was outstanding! Service was fast and abundant. The place is so cool and comfortable. I love the open air roof.

Yelp
Probably the best bbq I have had in Las Vegas. Super affordable and I cannot wait to eat there again

Yelp
Came here for a Xmas meal - it's a 4.5 for me! Ordered the half rack of ribs for $15.99 (with a players club card / without is $18.99). Definitely make sure you sign up for a players card so you can get the other promos too ($2 off). There's a $5 charge if you decide to share a plate though. Anyway, the ribs were really good - the tender meat fell off the bones! The corn tasted like it's been soaking in hot water...not sweet or flavorful (just add butter, salt, and pepper haha). The garlic bread was soft and delicious but I wish it was toasted and hot. The baked beans weren't that sweet and were lacking flavor. The coleslaw was good but it was a little wilty. Overall, I think this is still a solid meal especially considering the price point. I would definitely come back...perhaps for a full rack of ribs and to try the bbq chicken haha.
google avatar

Dave K.

Yelp
Small menu ribs and chicken served wet. fall off the bone delicious. good price for a full rack. it's in a casino so don't bring you kids. nothing special about the side but you're here for the meat, right.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Let me just say service is bad but food is great. We got our food, ate and then had to wait longer just to get our waitress to check us out. The place wasn't as busy. I never got a refill on my drink and when she placed our check on the table she didn't say anything at all. I will be back for the food but don't expect great friendly service.

Yelp
Clearly states: No Reservations Open Sunday-Thursday 4pm-10pm Open Friday & Saturday 4pm-11pm 21 & Over Only Non-Smoking Restaurant 4 Items on Menu: Full Rack Baby Back Ribs 1/2 Rack & 1/2 BBQ Chicken 1/2 Baby Back Ribs 1/2 BBQ Chicken Each entrée is served with Ellis Island root beer barbecue baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw and garlic bread No Split Checks $5 Split Plate Charge I didn't want to write this review. Because I wanted to keep it a secret... I guess the cats outta the bag. When I'm in Vegas & craving for some yummy BBQ Ribs or BBQ Chicken, I come to Ellis Island BBQ. Ellis Island BBQ is located inside of the Ellis Island Casino. Especially when I'm staying nearby, this is my usual spot for bomb grub at an incredible price. It's a simple menu. Only 4 items to choose from, plus sides of bbq beans, corn, coleslaw & bread. Ribs are mmm mmm finger licking good. Chicken is a generous portion of protein packed goodness. I know I can never finish the entire meal. But my usual is the 1/2 Ribs 1/2 Chicken, Bec I want both! Food comes out fast. You can see them in the kitchen Q'n up all the goodness. Bomb Food, Great service & can't beat that price! :D Pro Tips: - Sign up for a Players Club Card for a discount. - Play $5 for an additional $2 off

Yelp
The bbq joint inside Ellis island is another reason why this place is my favorite local casino in Vegas. The menus has pork ribs or chicken, and a few different sides. Simple menu, great prices with fast and friendly services. The bbq restaurant is easy to find right next to the cashier window in the back of the casino or just follow the side where the Village Pub is and keep going towards the back. If you play enough blackjack/table games at the casino (with your Ellis island players card of course) like we did you might earn some free credit comps to use here, at the Village Pub or the new outdoor patio in the front.

Yelp
Well not is lost this place Ellis Island even I lost on all other hope in coming back to this Casino or even coming back to Las Vegas !!! Over priced in most everything and Not like before like more than 10 years ago, But back to Ellis Iskand. Tonight we ate one of their BBQ Place and Yes this restaurant in Ellis Island is Recommended!!! From their reward card, if you play $5. or more you get $2. off from their BBQ. This BBQ is so Good and they gives lots for the price. Their sauce is also really and the Ribs and chicken are fall off the bone and that is how BBQ should be. So with my Full slab of BBQ Ribs and my friend 1/2 slab with 1/2 chicken and his ice tea was only around $42 bucks. I gave a pretty good tip with these orders. So the total rounded up to $60. including tips.
google avatar

Cheryl L.

Yelp
If you need solid bbq, you can get it at Ellis Island BBQ. Once they sell out, they shut down the restaurant. Get there early as tables get taken quickly by 6 pm. My companion and I split the full rack of baby back ribs $22.99 (with player's card). It is an extra $5 for a split fee but totally worth it. The plate is a huge portion. I highly recommend getting a players card in order to save money. My brother got a $10 credit and I got a $3 credit. Ambiance is dark and a family type of atmosphere which is good for groups. I would come back again.

Yelp
Best ribs in the world wow , kiss to the chef This place is bomb bomb Fast service, nice staff Friendly environment/ tv Love it here yumm Affordable
google avatar

Yelp
This place hits the spot! The ribs are delicious and full of moisture. The casino is nice as well with good odds. Just play a little and then go get yourself the $2 off coupon and you are golden! So worth the money, and I guess it helped that we won a little too - just enough to pay for the meal lol. The ribs are the highlight here, and then to be honest the sides could have been better especially the bread. The corn and beans were good, and the coleslaw was ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Recommended by a family member, Ellis Island BBQ is my new favorite bbq joint in the desert. I would have never looked twice as it is located a little further than I like to stay, and the restaurant itself is hiding in the corner with less than 40 seats. Served extremely fast by PJ, and devoured even faster. The ribs fell apart, the chicken was perfect and I will dream about that coleslaw for the rest of my life. The lemonade wasn't my favorite but was disregarded because the food was top tier.
google avatar

Curtis W.

Yelp
Had been here 15 years ago. Service was great & food came out quick, ambience was okay. Ribs were a little stringy, chicken breast was quite dry.
google avatar

Yelp
This is what I call a hidden gem! Ellis Island is just off the heart of the strip, and I've visited a number of times, but I've never even heard of this bbq spot. First of all, it's a small room with its entrance in a corner of the casino that's easily missed. Also, the fact that it may not be heavily publicized can be a great thing. If too many people discover this treasure, the wait times would be terrible. We were willing to wait the 30 minutes that we were initially told, but not much longer after we provided a number, we got a text saying our table was getting cleaned. Looking at the menu, I can see why the wait was very short. It's simple, with minimal options: combinations of Ribs (fill or half rack) and Chicken (half). It's like In n Out Burger, keep the menu options simple and quality, to make its service fast. I got the full rack ribs of course. This plate and every plate comes with corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw, and garlic bread. I destroyed my plate and wanted more! It was a great deal with fast service. Don't forget to get a discount after you check into the casino with your players card.

Yelp
My lovely wife and i were in mood for delicious bbq when she said honey lets go to ellis for delicious bbq. Were frequent it quite often. On this occasion we were really let down and extremely disappointed it was a tad past when we walked up to the hostess area where we stood for another 10 only ti be greeted aggressively by who i am assuming was the hostess who immediately and hastily disregarded us and said were to go only before i can even say anything

Yelp
Well I gave this spot 3 stars despite how good the ribs are and the bbq chicken.... the sides could be much better.. the bbq beans are not good ...the corn on the cob was good ...the coleslaw was runny and not cold.. the bread tasted homemade and was very good! This place is no frills .. I think the prices are typical of what you might get anywhere for the amount of food you get .. we split the plate so they charge $5 bucks extra for that and bring you an empty plate you fix at the table yourself. The service was good the waiter kind. ... This restaurant is inside a casino off the strip and with many Locos... lol... I mean locals hang here... would I recommend it maybe ... but I would not stay late... this spot is just ok... sorry :-( it's just my humble opinion
google avatar

Cheramie M.

Yelp
This place is located within Ellis Island Casino which sits close to the strip. It is a 21 and up eatery, so no kids are allowed. The menu is very short--literally 4 items nonetheless we got the full rack of ribs and I shared them With my husband. It came with 2 corns, baked beans and Cole slaw. The corn was really good. The beans and Cole slaw left much to be desired. The ribs, however were tender, well seasoned and the bbq was good as well. It's most likely the best bbq I've had since I've been in Vegas, and I've tried several places that just didn't quite measure up. Also, if you get a players card and play a few slots, you will receive a discount. You must present your players card, however. The service was ok--nothing overly great but he was decent.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on our last trip to Vegas and boy was it good. You walk inside and the ranch feel is definitely there. You can even checkout the cooks making the ribs. The meat is so tender and falling off the bone. They have like 4 options on the menu bbq chicken and ribs. The individual plates of those portions give more of the meat. If you get both chicken and ribs it's half portions. They accompany the meal with beans, coleslaw, bread and butter. The taste of everything is so good and the prices are the best you will find on the strip. Between me and my partner we spent 40 bucks and Vegas goers will know that's a steal. The service is solid and we have gone a handful of times and there is no wait. Keep in mind they open up at 4pm. Cheers !!!

Diana L.

Yelp
My husband and I both had the prime rib. It was delicious! We will definitely go back the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Doug M.

Yelp
Great food and service and great price. This is a hidden gem. Great food and drink prices.
google avatar

Stephanie I.

Yelp
The menu only has chicken or ribs which is great. You don't have too many choices to choose from. I like that it's a no brainer. Our server was so friendly and efficient. Asking if we okay and if everything was alright. Will definitely return but will share a plate because that's a lot of food for one person. Recommend going in early as it gets closer to dinner, the wait is long.
google avatar

Todd C.

Yelp
Dinner plans got switched so came over to Ellis island. You cannot go wrong with the meal deals offered for the bbq dinners $18.99 for a half rack of ribs and half a bbq chicken. Also comes with beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw and garlic bread. Get $3 Off just for having a players card (you do now Have to go swipe in at the players kiosk To load the $3 discount). Also if you gamble enough points you get another $2 off The ribs are pretty damn good and not fatty. They are tender and have some smoke and the bbq sauce has a little kick to it. Same goes for the chicken. The beans im just personally not a fan of. Service is very good and attentive. They bring you a little stack of extra napkins because you will need them and the wet naps they also provide. You will not be hungry by the time you leave and probably will have a doggy bag to go
google avatar

Andrew J.

Yelp
Maybe the haze of the past romanticized the experience of dining here. Or maybe post-pandemic is different, but this isn't the place I remember. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good as usual, but the service was dis-interested at best, like they weren't super confident what the next step was. The sides were not good. The beans lacked flavor and the Cole slaw was swimming in sauce. Sigh. The corn is always overcooked everywhere, so that was nothing. No sweet tea...damn. I used to like coming here.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was awesome tasty, good flavor and soft. Server "Paityn", she was awesome, friendly, and cozy environment, highly recommend it to anyone to visit..
google avatar

Yelp
Ate there yesterday with a dear, service, magnificent, and on point, the barbecue chicken actually melted in your mouth.

Lori B.

Yelp
The food is amazing! The price is even better! My husband and I have been twice since we discovered this place and will be going again, soon!
google avatar

Yelp
This was not my first visit to this establishment so I kind of new what to expect. My father asked to go so we made it a date. My father had a half rack of ribs and I had the half chicken. All platters come with the same sides, cole slaw, beans, corn on the cob and bread. The waitress said it would be garlic bread but it wasn't. I overheard her tell another customer that they didn't have garlic bread. So was wondering why would you tell customers that garlic bread would accompany the meal? My dad ribs looked delicious (I don't eat pork but I still know what looks good). My chicken looked delicious but my only complaint was the chicken was not hot. I didn't say anything and just ate parts of the chicken that I wanted. Everything else was pretty good. The next time I go I will say something about the chicken if it isn't up to par.
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
After living in the Vegas Valley for almost 30 years I finally made it to Ellis Island Casino. The bbq place is one of the restaurants inside the casino. They basically have two dishes, bbq pork ribs and bbq chicken. They have full and half racks of ribs and half and whole chickens, you can get a half rack and a half chicken for just over $20, two people can share it but you have to pay $5 for an extra plate!! The ribs and the chicken were pretty good, you also got corn on the cob, bbq beans, bread and coleslaw, I enjoyed the corn and the coleslaw, the bread was cold and ordinary and I didn't care for the beans! You get a $3 discount if you have their player card and if you play $5 worth of slots you get an additional $2 off! I don't think I'd make the trip from Henderson just to eat here but if you're nearby it could be worth the time.

Yelp
Tagged along with my husband and my in laws for dinner this week. They've been here multiple times and it was my first time. This place is located inside Ellis Island, which is tucked in the outskirts of the strip. As you come in thru the entrance, you will walk to the back where this place is next to the cashier. You'll have to check in with the hostess to be seated. Also, the place opens up at 4pm. The wait time was short for us and we were seated right away. Everyone ordered the full rack of ribs, which is doused in bbq sauce, with sides of corn and garlic bread. My in laws had other sides, such as cole slaw and beans. My in laws also had the half and half which is ribs and chicken. The ribs were so delicious, I can't believe I was almost done with it. I had only 2 ribs left. The corn was also savory and a great side. Overall, a great place for ribs. Definitely coming back for me. One tip, is to sign up for rewards card and you can get $3 off the meal.
google avatar

Toni P.

Yelp
Staff greeted us as soon as we get to the restaurant entrance. We're seated quickly. Staff are friendly and barbecues are delicious. Definitely worth the trip
google avatar

Ramez W.

Yelp
The only thing to complain about is there are only two things on the menu, pork and chicken but damn they are good. I recommend getting the plate with both, they're both freaking delicious it depends on which one you like more. The portions are massive, you probably won't be able to eat everything but you can try. You get a really delicious piece of bread with some butter, some coleslaw, beans and two pieces of corn on the cob. Everything is delicious and it's really hard to complain about this place. Service is friendly and fun and the ambiance is nice and quaint. The bbq sauce and the cholulu add a delightful touch
google avatar

Richard G.

Yelp
This place is outstanding. The baby back ribs are fall off the bone. The 22.99 for a full rack of ribs is mind blowing and it comes with corn, cole slaw, beans and bread and butter. I swear I could eat here everyday. GREAT fast and efficient servers. There is a brewery attached to the casino and restaurant so you can get craft beer with your ribs. Phenomenal!
google avatar

Jon L.

Yelp
Solid deal with a players card and a few turns at the slots to get a full rack of ribs for around $16 washed down with some of their in-house brews. Service was fast and efficient. Didn't take long for the food to arrive too. They've got a system down pat where they keep the meats going on the BBQ. Meat was tender and had a nice char. Plenty of food. Good to grab the half rack leftovers back to your room for some late night, post-drinking munchies. The BBQ gives the steak specials at Village Cafe a good run for their money. And it's a good value here too.

Brian K.

Yelp
Best Food Deal in Vegas* Ellis Island is by far the local's favorite of Casino Food Deals! Get a Player's Card (free) have the Steak Special. A full quality steak meal with ALL THE FIXINS! Includes soup/salad, vegetables, choice of potato, sourdough bread, table side banana flambé (hmm ....) for about $12. Ellis Island has several dining options, BBQ, pizza/deli, full restaurant where we get our steaks! Great ambiance. Tucked away from the casino hustle and bustle. The service is GREAT! Shout out to JEN; she's our fave, but service there is consistently good. But if you do get JEN, give her an "ATTA GIRL!" Overall, Great Place! * Great Vegas Food Deal - Roberto's $1.79 Tacos on Wednesday BOMB!

Yelp
Baby back ribs were tender and a bit charred on the outside. The corn on the cob is pretty standard. The beans and slaw aren't very good. The slaw is overly creamy and the beans are seasoned oddly with root beer. The bread is good but I prefer Texas toast with these style of ribs. It's very plain, like having a picnic in a cave. They use a ton of plastic. The servers are pleasant and reasonably attentive. We had beer with our meal. The house brewed beers are the highlight of the place. Between $4-$6, these beers have won multiple awards and they certainly taste delicious. I noticed several reviews on Yelp which have nothing to do with the BBQ place. It's a separate entity and only does BBQ ribs and chicken, no salads, no sandwiches, no prime rib. Those are next door at the Village Pub and Grill.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives... It's a good deal for full rack of ribs for less than $20 with players card and sides included! The portions are generous, more than enough for even the heartiest of appetites. The ribs are super tender and fall of the bone. Why the 3 star rating? Several reasons: The ribs were drenched with BBQ sauce and can't taste anything else besides that, was foolish enough to add some and had to scrape off. Where is the smoky flavor or the hint of spices... good luck in trying to find it. By the time I finished the ribs, was already had enough and don't like to waste any food. Lacks any finesse at all, like a bull in a china shop, I know this is a poor analogy for a BBQ joint. Don't think the sides were good either, bread was hard and seem days old... the corn was mushy and boiled too long. The service is quick and prompt but not very friendly. After thinking about it, wanted to change order to half rack of ribs and chicken, wished to insist on that. The waitress gave some attitude about changing, mind you it was less than a minute after placing the order. What happened to the customer is right (well most of the time)? It's a good value, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. You are probably better off finding another local BBQ restaurant.

Yelp
Hubby and I were craving ribs and I remembered that we had ate here years ago. So we decided to come back again. They have delicious ribs with the side of baked beans, coleslaw, bread, and corn on the cob. Your bbq sauce was finger licking good Everything was tasty You can even get a discount if you join the players card $$$. Three days after we brought my sister (birthday girl) and her hubby to have ribs for her birthday dinner We first met at the bar and ordered some drinks and gambled a bit at the slots machines. My sis really enjoyed the music 60's& 70's. But what really surprised them was the ribs... loved them. They kept telling us how much fun they had in such a small casino with great music, new slot machines, drinks, and a great dinner. Btw you can take your drinks from the bar to the restaurant This place was like $10 less than the restaurants at strip and their reviews were higher *****! Next time I want to try their desserts. I saw they had a small bakery with delicious desserts and I believe there was an Italian food stand but I'm not sure. I'll have to research for next time

Yelp
It's been years since I've come here. The first time I came was a late Vegas night singing karaoke right next door to the restaurant. But this is my first time actually sitting down having a real meal. First of all, food is great, and the price is amazingly cheap because you're off the strip and this is also a small local casino. Shout out to our server, Jelena, she was so charming, personable, engaging with just the right amount of whitiness to keep us happy and laughing late at night. I came with 3 others right after checking in our hotel for some debriefing, drinks, and most importantly some food. I'm ready to come back again to check off everything else on the menu. Everyone raves about Ellis Island's baby back ribs. I'd really have to come with a huge appetite or a buffet stomach because judging by the looks of it, they are huge!

Yelp
Small menu - just chicken and ribs. The chicken was good. The corn was nasty. The coleslaw was pretty good. The baked beans were just okay. My first time in Vegas, but the smoking in the casino drifted into the restaurant heavily. combine that with the stuffy/hot air It about made me sick. The prices were very affordable.

Yelp
For a reasonable price you get an ample portion of food. They have a pretty fixed menu, so don't expect a wide variety of, but it was really good and we'll definitely go back.

Yelp
This place was a surprise. Had gone to the Ellis Island casino to check out the local favorite. Decided to try the BBQ place and were pleasantly surprised. The menu is very small, the food basic, and interior is sparse. I ordered a half slab of baby back ribs meal. The meal was solid. Nothing fancy, but good and satisfying. Looking around as I dined, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals as well. The price was right, at under $20 each plate. Hubs enjoyed it too. Service was good which always makes meals more enjoyable.

Yelp
This restaurant is clean, cheap, and fast. The BVQ, however, lacks the pink tinge that comes from slow smoking. This is baked BBQ, charred a bit at the end, and slathered with sauce. The corn is boiled, not roasted or baked. The beans are good. I suppose I'd call this place "Vegas acceptable." In Memphis, however, it'd shut down in a week.
