I am a Diamond Elite member traveling for business, staying at the Kimpton-Pittman Hotel. I get free vouchers to come and try this place for breakfast, and the service is terrible. Let's start by me calling the hotel front desk and asking if there was a dress code, "No, not at all, enjoy yourself" to get down there with my husband and Kenneth lets me specifically know that I am not allowed without shoes on, socks on, but no shoes is not allowed, in what OSHA handbook or law does it state you have to wear shoes in a hotel restaurant. You don't it's not a law in the entire US. For the rest of the time here ordering our food after we got shoes, he didn't speak to us the entire time, wrote down our orders, never gave us refills and tried handing me a check. Not realizing I was a diamond elite member and I don't have to pay him his 78$. Lesson learned the staff (Kenneth) in particular is very rude and disrespectful, not a friendly casual environment like they say. We did not "enjoy" the experience. My husband and I both got the American Breakfast, over easy eggs are full cooked, scrambled eggs are left watery, potatoes have no flavor, the bacon was great, served with a side of arugula that's sour and bitter, they won't ever give you a refill they keep water at your table, and they'll give you a side plate of different sauces that stay out and set for hours and it's bad. Don't eat it ! Rude service and poor quality food ! We are very disappointed!
